Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the Financial Performance of Local Governments based on Value for Money at the Surabaya City Government in 2015-2021, namely in terms of economy, efficiency and effectiveness. The method of analysis in this research is Descriptive Qualitative Analysis Method. The data collection technique used is the report on the realization of the regional budget for revenues and expenditures (APBD) of the Surabaya City Government in 2015-2022. The data was obtained from the Surabaya City Regional Revenue and Financial Management Office through the Surabaya City Regional Government website. Measurement of economic value is based on the comparison of the budget with the realization of the budget. The measurement of efficiency value is based on the comparison of output with input, where the output is obtained from the performance achievement of the Surabaya City Government. While the input of economic value that has been obtained and for measuring the value of effectiveness is based on the comparison of outcomes with outputs, where the outcome is the target to be achieved, while the output is the performance achievement of the Surabaya City Government. The results of this study indicate that the financial performance of the Surabaya City Government shows that the performance of the Surabaya City Government is quite economical in 2015-2021. The economic level is quite stable in a span of seven years and has an average achievement of 87.74%. In terms of efficiency, it shows that the financial performance of the Surabaya City Government from 2015 to 2021 on average for seven years is included in the efficient criteria. In terms of effectiveness, the Surabaya City Government's financial performance for the 2015-2021 fiscal year shows an unstable condition, so that from the level of effectiveness, the Surabaya City Government must try to improve it again.

Abstract

This study will examine and analyse these elements to have a better understanding of how employee culture and job satisfaction impact organisational commitment. This essay's research focuses on the Bandung, Indonesia, PT.Bina Administrasi. The sample for the study was composed of 98 participants using a purposive sampling method. The analysis technique is called multiple regression. Following are the study's conclusions: (1) Organisational culture positively affects organisational commitment, meaning that the better the culture, the higher the commitment. (2) A favourable association between the two can be shown when organisational commitment is high and work satisfaction is high.

Abstract

The intricate nature of contemporary human life has placed individuals in a paradoxical position, simultaneously serving as active agents shaping societal development and passive recipients of the outcomes of this evolution. The predominant emphasis on material and intellectual pursuits has, in some instances, resulted in the neglect of the soul as a bridge to the transcendent realm, often associated with the divine. Consequently, many modern individuals find themselves disconnected from their own existence and spiritual well-being. This research aims to address the real-world challenges faced by contemporary individuals by exploring the philosophical concepts of Ibn Sīnā and Suhrawadī, which hold significant relevance to the conditions of modern society. This study, utilizing a qualitative approach and a comparative synthesis analysis model, unveils a convergence in the conceptualization of the soul between Ibn Sīnā and Suhrawardī, particularly in their efforts to curb the influence of the animalistic soul (an-nafs al-hayāwanīyah). While their methodologies differ, reflecting their respective Aristotelian and illuminationist traditions, their shared objective remains unwavering. Ibn Sīnā emphasizes the rational soul (an-nafs al-naṭiqah) through acquired reason (al-'aql al-mustafad), striving to attain divine knowledge, a goal also pursued, albeit via a different path, by Suhrawardī through ascetic practices. The pursuit of maximal rationality and the adoption of ascetic practices offer modern individuals a potent means to combat the soul-crushing emptiness often associated with spiritual and existential crises.

Abstract

Islamic religious education plays a crucial role in shaping the noble character of the younger generation. This research aims to investigate the role of Islamic religious education in shaping the noble character of the younger generation. The research method used is qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentary studies. The results of the research show that Islamic religious education plays an important role in shaping the noble character of the younger generation through understanding moral concepts, controlling oneself and emotions, fostering a strong work ethic and discipline, developing empathy and respecting others, as well as raising awareness of the importance of preserving the environment and nature. However, the research also identifies several challenges in the implementation of Islamic religious education, such as the lack of resources and support for Islamic religious education programs. Therefore, several recommendations are proposed to improve the effectiveness of Islamic religious education in shaping the noble character of the younger generation, including the development of a more effective curriculum, training and mentoring for Islamic religious teachers, increased support from parents and the community, as well as increased resources and support for Islamic religious education programs.

Abstract

This article explores the richness of language styles and speech used in the lyrics of the song "Raksa" by Soegi Bornean. Against the background of the richness of the existing lyrics and the possibilities that exist in linguistic exploration as found in the title of the song "Raksa" which comes from a foreign language, namely Sanskrit, as well as the use of the song lyrics "Budaya nian bersua", and the aim of this research is to reveal The contribution of songs to the development of diction in song lyrics is due to the large number of vocabulary words in Indonesian that are rarely used. As well as the emotional power of using qualitative descriptive analysis methods to study the language style and figures of speech of the Raksa Song, this research will focus on deciphering the stylistic nuances and revealing the mosaic of metaphorical and idiomatic expressions. The research results further highlight the complexity of the rhetorical figures of speech contained in the song "Raksa" such as in the lyrics which read "Where I look for the soul" of the song, providing insight into its poetic resonance. Therefore, the use of language styles and figures of speech has spread to a deeper scale regarding song lyrics, and has enriched the appreciation of Indonesian songwriting.

Abstract

Among the sports recommended by the Prophet Muhammad in the hadith is swimming. In a hadith narrated by Nasa’I and Ahmad ibn Hanbal it is states that swimming is include in a game that does not contain futility and is recommended to teach it to children. However, the hadith regarding the recommendation to swim contains irregularities in the Shahihain book, there are only recommendations for horse riding and archery, but in other reports there is the word swimming. This research examines the hadiths advising swimming, and reviews the understanding of these hadisths with the implementation of swimming in the present. The type of research with the takhrij and ma’anil hadith approaches. The results o this study indicate that the hadith studied regarding the recommendation to swim is found in two hadith source books, namely Sunan Kubra Nasa’I and Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal. The suggestion to swim has something to do with the hadith of the primacy of war in the ocean, as there was a fleet during the time of the caliph Ummar bin Khattab. Then swimming at the present time is included in the category of sports that have many benefits, but the thing that needs to be considered in swimming is to keep away harm to avoid immorality. Pay attention to clothes when going to do siwmming, as well as places that don’t mix.

Abstract

Pada era globalisasi ini perusahaan terus dituntut untuk mengembangkan perusahaannya dengan berbagai inovasi terbaru agar tetap bisa bersaing dengan perusahaan lainnya. Selain pengembangan strategi, perusahaan juga dituntut untuk dapat mengelola sumber daya yang dimiliki secara terprogram dengan baik agar tujuan perusahaan tercapai. Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk mencari tahu system pengedalian formal dan informal dalam peningkatan kinerja karyawan perusahaan CV. Flash Digital Printing cabang Mataram. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif yang bersifat desktiptif komparatif yaitu dengan cara menghimpun data-data yang dibutuhkan, dianalisis, diinterprestasikan sehingga untuk mengilustrasikan keadaan yang diamati. Data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif sebagai dasar untuk menganalisis sistem pengendalian manajemen, Sumber refrensi yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan, penelitian lapangan, kemudian data di analsisis dengan deskriptif komparatif. Hasil menunjukan bahwa sistem pengendalian formal yang di terapkan cv. Flash yakni memberikan teguran lisan dan non lisan, surat peringatan dan sanksi waktu kerja. sistem pengendalian informal yang di terapkan cv. Flash yakni gathering event dan konsultasi lansung. CV. Flash sangat menjunjung tinggi kekeluargaan dan tetap mengikut pedoman struktur pengendalian manajemen yang baik. Namun nyatanya tidak secara konsisten dilaksanakan sebagaimana mestinya.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the relationship between transformational leadership, organizational commitment, and participant achievement at the Padang Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BPVP) under the Ministry of Manpower. This research uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to training participants at BPVP Padang. The research sample consisted of training participants who were active when the research was conducted. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical methods and multiple regression. The findings of this study indicate that transformational leadership has a significant positive relationship with organizational commitment and participant achievement. Apart from that, organizational commitment also has a significant positive influence on participant achievement. The managerial implications of this research highlight the importance of developing transformational leadership and strengthening organizational commitment at BPVP Padang to increase the achievement of training participants.

Abstract

This paper explores the role of diverse stakeholders in the sustainable development of homestays, emphasizing the critical importance of collaboration among various actors to achieve long-term success. Local governments play a crucial role by creating supportive regulations, providing essential infrastructure, and offering training for homestay operators on sustainable practices that can improve service quality and environmental responsibility. Homestay managers are essential for delivering quality services and implementing eco-friendly operations, such as effective waste management and energy conservation. Community involvement is equally vital, as residents can engage in managing homestays and offering local products, thereby ensuring that economic benefits reach a broader segment of the community. Additionally, tourism industry players, including travel agents, promote homestays to a larger audience, while NGOs contribute by educating communities about sustainable tourism practices and advocating for supportive policies. The findings suggest that a collaborative approach among stakeholders is essential for successful and sustainable homestay development, ultimately benefiting local economies and preserving the environment.

Abstract

This study focuses on the hadiths that discuss the rukhsah prayer for the sick. Every human being in this world will live their life by doing various daily activities. This explains that humans are based on two conditions or circumstances, namely healthy or sick. Every healthy human being will definitely experience a phase where they will feel pain. When someone is sick, it will make it difficult for them to do activities and worship. Rukhsah is a relief, ease, generosity in doing something because of an excuse or in an emergency. Then the question arises what kind of illnesses can prevent someone from praying and getting rukhsah if in that condition. The purpose of this study is to find out how the hadiths are understood about the rukhsah prayer for the sick. Then how is the contextualization of the hadith about the rukhsah prayer for the sick viewed from the current situation and conditions. This study is a library research study using the maudhu`i method in order to find out the understanding by collecting hadiths that have the same theme through their source books and then examining the understanding through the explanation of the hadith. Next, we use a contextual approach to find out the reasons for the emergence of the hadith by referring to its various aspects in detail. The results of this research are that the hadiths are agreed to be of authentic quality by the ulama. From understanding the sharia, there are criteria for illness that allow and prevent someone from carrying out prayers. Certain circumstances have been found that make it possible for someone to pray when they are sick. The cause of lightness in performing prayers is due to the occurrence of one thing or another, such as illness. Illness that befalls a person causes rukhsah for a person in carrying out prayers.
