Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest biodiversity in the world. However, this high diversity requires individual awareness and responsibility to maintain and utilize it sustainably. Therefore, biodiversity literacy is an important element, especially for students as prospective future generations who will play a role in natural resource management in the future. This study aims to evaluate the level of biodiversity literacy of students of the Biology study program at the University of Education Mandalika, by assessing six dimensions of biodiversity literacy: Conservation and Importance of Biodiversity (CIB), Ethics and Biodiversity (EB), Sustainability and Biodiversity (SB), Taking Action to Protect Biodiversity (TAPB), Biodiversity and Utility (BU), and Conservation and Importance of Species (CIS).  The method used was quantitative descriptive, involving 50 students as respondents. The instrument used consisted of 27 items that were analyzed using One Way ANOVA to determine the average score and significant differences based on gender and student scores. The results showed that the average score of biodiversity literacy obtained a score of 2.08 with a less significant category (Low Biodiversity Literacy). Most of the indicators are at an average value below 2.50, only a small number of indicators have an average value above 2.50. In the CIB dimension, only 3 indicators have an average value of > 2.50 out of 5 indicators. In the TAPB dimension, only 1 indicator has an average > 2.50. While in other dimensions, the average value < 2.50. In addition, there was no significant difference in student scores based on gender. Thus, student biodiversity literacy still needs to be improved, especially in the aspects of real action and individual responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to validate the SINERGI (Science Process Skills Integration with Local Wisdom and Technology) learning model, which is designed to improve students' Science Process Skills (SPS) through the integration of local wisdom and technology. Validation was carried out by involving five education experts to assess the validity of the content and construct of the model. Content validity covers six main aspects, namely supporting theory, syntax, social system, reaction principle, support system, and model implementation, while construct validity covers seven aspects, including components of the learning model. The validation results show that the SINERGI learning model has a high level of validity with most indicators in the very valid category and reliability above 85% based on the Percentage of the Agreement method. This finding confirms that the SINERGI learning model is feasible to be applied in 21st-century science learning, although minor improvements are needed in the reaction principle aspect.

Abstract

The population in this study were all sixth grade elementary school students in Gugus II Ledokombo who implemented K13 with a total of 334 students. The sample consisted of 120 students who were divided into two experimental classes and two control classes using group random sampling technique. The instruments used were science learning outcomes tests and multicultural attitude questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using ANOVA. The results of this research show that: Testing the first hypothesis, the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted (analysis results: "model" significance value (A) = 39.508) (Sig. < 0.050)). This means that there is a significant difference in science learning outcomes between students who take CPS learning, which is higher than students who take conventional science learning. Testing the second hypothesis, the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted (analysis results: significance value of "multicultural model*attitude" (A*B) = 4.468 (Sig. < 0.050)). This means that there is a significant interaction effect between learning models in science learning and students' multicultural attitudes on students' science learning outcomes. Testing the third hypothesis, the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted (Qtable (0.050) = 4.11, Qcount =8.518, Qcount>Qtable). This means that there is a significant difference between the science learning outcomes of students who have high multicultural attitudes when they are given treatment using CPS learning and conventional learning. Testing the fourth hypothesis, the nu hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted (Qtable (0.050) = 4.11, Qcount =4.237, Qcount>Qtable). Abstract

ABSTRACT The use of interactive learning media in the biology learning process at SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja is still not optimal, thereby affecting students' interest in learning. The microorganism material, which covers three chapters, namely viruses, bacteria, and fungi, is one of the biology learning materials that is difficult for students to understand. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a learning medium with a structured learning model. This study aims to develop interactive web-based learning media using Google Sites based on problem-based learning for the topic of microorganisms, as well as to determine the validity and practicality of the learning media. The research conducted is a development study (Research and Development) using the ADDIE development model. The validity and practicality of the media were assessed by experts, biology teachers, and students. The research data were analyzed using validity and practicality test formulas. The validation results showed that the Google Sites web had a very high level of validity, with an average percentage of 93% from subject matter experts and 98,5% from media experts. The practicality of the media was also very good, with an average percentage of 93% based on the practicality test by teachers and 87% based on the practicality test by students. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that interactive learning based on problem-based learning (PBL) using Google Sites valid and practical for use in the learning process. ABSTRAK Penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif dalam pada proses pembelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja masih belum optimal, sehingga berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar peserta didik. Materi mikroorganisme yang meliputi tiga bab yaitu virus, bakteri dan jamur, merupakan salah satu materi dalam pembelajaran biologi yang sulit dipahami oleh siswa. Oleh karena itu, perlu dikembangkan suatu media pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran terstruktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif web google sites berbasis problem based learning pada materi mikroorganisme, serta untuk mengetahui tingkat validitas dan kepraktisan media pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penilaian validitas dan kepraktisan media melibatkan para ahli, guru biologi, dan peserta didik. Data hasil penelitian selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan rumus uji validitas dan kepraktisan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa web google sites memiliki tingkat validitas sangat tinggi, dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 93% dari ahli materi dan 98,5% dari ahli media. Kepraktisan media juga tergolong sangat baik, dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 93% berdasarkan uji kepraktisan oleh guru dan sebesar 87% berdasarkan uji kepraktisan siswa. Dari data hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif web google sites berbasis problem based learning valid dan praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami problematika yang dihadapi oleh sekolah dasar (SD) dalam pengembangan keterampilan literasi sains, serta menurmuskan teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mendukung pembelajaran IPA dan meningkatkan literasi sains. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif studi kasus pada sekolah dasar. Sample penelitian adalah dua sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Dompu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa masalah yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam implemenentasi pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar, yaitu sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran IPA yang terbatas, media dan tekonologi pembelajaran, keterbatasan sumber daya (human resourse), minat belajar peserta didik, silabus dan modul pembelajaran, ekosistem pembelajaran IPA yang memadai. Sementara itu, guru dan siswa mengalami kesulitas dan memahami konsep IPA yang abstrak ke dalam konsep yang kontekstual dan kurangnya pengalaman pratis guru dan sekolah dalam pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan lingkungan dalam pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar sangat penting untuk menumbuhkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang alam sekitar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dampak pemanfaatan lingkungan terhadap hasil belajar siswa, kesadaran lingkungan, dan kesejahteraan secara keseluruhan dalam proses pembelajaran IPA di SDIT Nurul Anshar Kecamatan Panji Kabupaten Situbondo. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis dengan menggunakan Miles dan Huberman, yang terdiri dari empat tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah guru kelas 1 sampai 6 yang berjumlah 24. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan lingkungan alam sekitar membuat pembelajaran lebih menarik, meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam belajar, memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik, mendorong kreativitas siswa dan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna.

Abstract

Salah satu komoditas buah utama Indonesia adalah jeruk Siam. Namun, banyak tanaman jeruk di indonesia yang terkena penyakit Citrus Vein Phloem Degeneration (CVPD). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi secara lebih pasti keberadaan bakteri Liberobacter asiaticus penyebab penyakit CVPD pada tanaman jeruk yang menunjukkan gejala klorosis dan juga keberadaan bakteri L. asiaticus penyebab penyakit CVPD pada tanaman jeruk yang tidak menunjukkan gejala klorosis. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut, teknik PCR akan digunakan untuk analisis molekuler bakteri L. asiaticus. Dengan mengamati sampel daun dari tanaman jeruk siam Kintamani yang menunjukkan gejala klorosis dan yang tidak menunjukkan gejala klorosis, maka metodologi penelitian eksploratif diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Pita DNA pada 1.160 bp tidak ditemukan pada sampel daun jeruk yang diuji, baik pada sampel daun jeruk yang sehat maupun pada sampel daun jeruk yang terindikasi klorosis. Tanaman jeruk yang menunjukkan gejala klorosis tidak ditemukan bakteri L. asiaticus pada sampel daunnya. Hal ini mungkin disebabkan oleh kurangnya unsur hara di dalam tanah, konsentrasi bakteri yang rendah, atau distribusi bakteri yang tidak merata di dalam jaringan daun. Kesimpulan yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah keberadaan bakteri L. asiaticus penyebab penyakit CVPD tidak dapat terdeteksi keberadaannya pada sampel daun jeruk siam yang bergejala dan tidak bergejala klorosis.

Abstract

Online learning is a growing trend in education during the corona virus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the difficulties that online majors in non-English languages have when attempting to acquire English. The subject of this study involved using the questionnaire method for as many as 412 students and interviewing 15 students with a total of 17 questions. The results of this study indicate that there are several challenges faced by students during online learning; i) less familiarity with online learning as shown by 31% of students agreeing that online learning is a new learning method, ii) psychologically 30% of students choose strongly agree that they have limited opportunities to interact directly and freely with lecturers as well as with students, iii) limited facilities and infrastructure as much as 28% agree that the budget is limited to get quota or internet credit, and iv) limited internet access as many as 35% of students do not have good internet coverage to take online lectures. The findings of this study should be a reference for English lecturers to continue learning to innovate in providing online English learning by considering the existing challenges.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal dapat dijelaskan sebagai budaya yang diintegrasikan sebagai alat bagi proses belajar untuk memotivasi siswa dalam mengaplikasikan pengetahuan. Studi ini memberikan gambaran upaya etnopedagogi dalam bimbingan klinik kebidanan dalam substansi stumulasi tumbuh kembang anak mata kuliah kebidanan komunitas di TPMB Ni Ketut Nuriasih Tahun 2023. Pendekatan penelitianini adalah metode kualitatif, denganjenis fenomenologi. Menurut Sugiyono (2021), data penelitian kualitatif adalah data yang berbentuk kata, kalimat, narasi, gerak tubuh,ekspresi wajah, bagan, gambar dan foto. Data ini dapat terbagi menjadi dua macam yakni data kualitatif empiris dan data kualitatif bermakna. Dalam penelitian ini, adalah data kualitatif bermakna, sebab peneliti mengambarkan esensi dibalik eksistensi, data dibalik fakta yang tampak. Dengan mengambil bentuk naratif-deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun lokasi penelitian adalah di TPMB Ni Ketut Nuriasih. Hasil penelitian ini adalah etnopedagogi secara konsep terus berkembang dan secara praktisnya mulai nyaman diterapkan diberbagai tanan pendidikan termasuk pada tanan pembingan klinik maupun kebidanan komunitas. Tujuan etnopedagogi sebagai pembelajaran yang menyenangkan serta definisi etnopedagogi yakni pendidikan dari masyarakat, untuk masyarakat,dan oleh masyarakat diimplemtasi sebagai lesson learnt guna melakukan pendekatan dalam mengedukasi dan mendampingi pasien pada pendekatan pembelajaran kebidanan kemunitas yang erat dengan keberadaan profsi bidan di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Kontribusi positif, dirasakan oleh preceptor atau mentor dalam memberikan bimbingan dan begitu juga oleh peserta didik dalam konteks hasil belajar maupun pendidikan karakter peserta didik yang bermuara pada pentingnya kedudukan kearifan lokal dalam asuhan kebidanan sebagai pendekatan untuk mengkomunikasikan asuhan kebidana di komunitas yang berbasis bukti namun tetap menempatkan klien atau masyarakat sebagi subyek bukan obyek pelayanan kebidanan

Abstract

Purpose – Covid-19 has had a negative impact on the education sector. Students' understanding of the lesson material becomes less in-depth. As a result, learning outcomes do not match expectations. However, students' diverse learning styles pose a challenge in increasing students' understanding of a lesson material. For this reason, innovation is needed that can accommodate various student learning styles. The solution is to develop digital-based teaching materials that are integrated with various media variants in them.Methods – This research and development aims to determine the design, validity, practicality and effectiveness of digital-based science and science teaching materials on cognitive learning outcomes for Class IV elementary school students. The development model used is the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation" in English.Findings – Material validation received a score of 4.8 with a very high validity category, while media validation received a score of 4.5 with a very high validity category. For the practicality test, this digital science teaching material received a score of 1.75 with an excellent classification. The effectiveness test was seen based on the average normality gain which obtained a value of 0.80 in the high effectiveness category.Research Implications – From the results recorded in this research, digital-based science and science teaching materials are suitable for implementation in the learning of fourth-grade elementary school students. The validity, practicality and effectiveness proven through various trials and tests provide strong support for the educational value that can be obtained through the use of these teaching materials. Further implementation of these teaching materials can make a positive contribution to improving the quality of learning and student learning outcomes.
