Abstract

This study aims to identify the profiles of students with functional learning disabilities in 30 schools (Elementary Schools/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) in Lombok Timur, Indonesia, as well as to explore the challenges faced by teachers and principals in providing appropriate interventions. The research methodology employed data analysis from questionnaires, interviews, and Focus Group Discussions with 120 teachers from Elementary Schools/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The analysis results indicate that out of a total of 2763 registered students, 283 students experience functional learning disabilities, with the majority being female students (58%) and male students (42%). Cognitive and dyslexia-related disabilities are the most common types of disabilities, followed by behavioural and emotional disabilities. Teachers and principals encounter difficulties in providing appropriate and effective interventions for these students with special needs. Based on the results of the analysis, it is concluded that concerted efforts are required among schools, teachers, parents, and various stakeholders to develop more effective inclusive education strategies. Recommended steps include providing additional training for teachers, creating more structured student support programs, and enhancing communication between schools and parents.

Abstract

Minimnya penggunaan media kontekstual yang memadukan unsur kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran biologi berpengaruh terhadap rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem gerak manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, serta menilai efektivitas media flipbook berorientasi Tari Sekar Jempiring dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan desain pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group. Populasi terdiri dari 140 siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Pekutatan dengan sampel acak sederhana berupa kelas XI B2 (36 siswa) sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang belajar menggunakan flipbook berorientasi Tari Sekar Jempiring dengan setting PBL, dan XI B1 (36 siswa) sebagai kelompok kontrol yang belajar dengan PBL tanpa flipbook. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda dengan analisis data secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil uji-t independen menunjukkan nilai -4,520 dengan signifikansi 0,0001, menandakan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Nilai effect size sebesar 1,065 menunjukkan kategori tinggi, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media flipbook berorientasi Tari Sekar Jempiring dengan model PBL efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi sistem gerak manusia

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of Tri Hita Karana in the process of practicum in the culinary art study program. Vocational universities are required to design and implement innovative learning processes so that students can achieve learning outcomes including character, aspects of attitudes, knowledge and skills optimally. Tri Hita Karana concept of harmony of human relationship with God, man and nature. Practicum of Culinary Art Study Program in the kitchen with an uncomfortable atmosphere, the role of Tri Hita Karana as a foundation in daily activities.  The research methodology uses qualitative analysis of case studies, while the data are obtained by in-depth interviews and observations. Data is a lecturer and third-semester student of Culinary Arts Bali Tourism Polytechnic. Implementation of Tri Hita Karana in a practicum in the study program Seni kuliner: (a) Parhyangan, installing curtains, praying together, and banten saiban every day. (b) Pawongan, by communicating with stakeholders. (c) Palemahan, students and lecturers carry out the cleaning of practical equipment, sorting organic waste and handling plastic waste.   The application of Tri Hita Karana concept in carrying out practicum will build student character and spirituality.

Abstract

Abstrak This research aims to identify dishes in the ngaturin tradition in Sembiran Village, Tejakula, Buleleng, Bali. The data collection techniques used were interviews and observation. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative. The research results show three things. 1). The ngaturin ceremony is a ritual that must be carried out by all married men, carried out to provide compensation for the holy water received (the basis for the request for a hug) as well as to ask for a good place for the ancestors. What is unique is that the dish is served using beef, where most Hindu people do not consume processed beef. 2). The dishes served in the ngaturin tradition consist of the main dish, namely white rice, side dishes arranged in megibung covered with banana leaves, arranged starting with rice and side dishes. Side dishes with soup are served with a drizzle. 3). Food in the ngaturin tradition can only be eaten at the arrange temple and in the homes of people who carry out this tradition. Dishes cannot be taken outside the house or Sembiran village and can only be enjoyed for 1 day. If anything remains, it must be thrown away and buried. If the dish is taken outside the village, it will bring disaster to the community. The meaning is gratitude to God for his request that his ancestors be in the best place. Food is enjoyed in a megibung manner which means togetherness, mutual respect and respect which contains philosophical, anthropological, sociological and psychological values.

Abstract

The teaching materials used are still fixated on printed media that are less attractive. Interactive digital learning media is also not maximally used in teaching and learning. This will impact students' interest in learning because, with interesting media the learning process will become more enjoyable and effective. This study aims to determine the learning media's design, validity, and practicality. This type of research is R&D (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). This research produces interactive learning media assisted by Articulate Storyline 3 on excretory system material in high school. The results of the validity of learning media from material, media, and language experts each received a score of 1.0 with very valid criteria. The results of practicality trials through individual tests obtained a percentage of 93.7% with an efficient category. In comparison, the results of practicality trials through small group tests obtained a percentage of 92.1% with an efficient category. Based on the study's results, it can be concluded that the interactive learning media is very valid and practical to be used as a learning media for excretory system material for high school students. abstrak. Media ajar yang digunakan masih terpaku pada media berbentuk cetak yang kurang menarik. Media pembelajaran interaktif yang sifatnya digital juga tidak maksimal dipergunakan dalam pembelajaran mengajar. Padahal pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran adalah tuntutan abad 21. Kondisi ini akan berdampak pada ketertarikan siswa untuk belajar karena dengan media yang menarik, maka proses pembelajaran akan menjadi lebih menyenangkan dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rancang bangun, validitas, dan kepraktisan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah R&D (Research and Development) menggunakan model ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Articulate Storyline 3 pada materi sistem ekskresi di SMA. Hasil validitas media pembelajaran dari ahli materi, media, dan bahasa masing-masing mendapatkan nilai 1,0 dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji coba kepraktisan oleh guru memperoleh persentase sebesar 93,7% yang termasuk kategori sangat praktis, sedangkan hasil uji coba kepraktisan oleh siswa memperoleh persentase sebesar 92,1% yang termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa  media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Articulate Storyline 3 pada materi sistem ekskresi di SMA sangat valid dan sangat praktis digunakan sebagai media ajar materi sistem ekskresi untuk siswa kelas XI. Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest biodiversity in the world. However, this high diversity requires individual awareness and responsibility to maintain and utilize it sustainably. Therefore, biodiversity literacy is an important element, especially for students as prospective future generations who will play a role in natural resource management in the future. This study aims to evaluate the level of biodiversity literacy of students of the Biology study program at the University of Education Mandalika, by assessing six dimensions of biodiversity literacy: Conservation and Importance of Biodiversity (CIB), Ethics and Biodiversity (EB), Sustainability and Biodiversity (SB), Taking Action to Protect Biodiversity (TAPB), Biodiversity and Utility (BU), and Conservation and Importance of Species (CIS).  The method used was quantitative descriptive, involving 50 students as respondents. The instrument used consisted of 27 items that were analyzed using One Way ANOVA to determine the average score and significant differences based on gender and student scores. The results showed that the average score of biodiversity literacy obtained a score of 2.08 with a less significant category (Low Biodiversity Literacy). Most of the indicators are at an average value below 2.50, only a small number of indicators have an average value above 2.50. In the CIB dimension, only 3 indicators have an average value of > 2.50 out of 5 indicators. In the TAPB dimension, only 1 indicator has an average > 2.50. While in other dimensions, the average value < 2.50. In addition, there was no significant difference in student scores based on gender. Thus, student biodiversity literacy still needs to be improved, especially in the aspects of real action and individual responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to validate the SINERGI (Science Process Skills Integration with Local Wisdom and Technology) learning model, which is designed to improve students' Science Process Skills (SPS) through the integration of local wisdom and technology. Validation was carried out by involving five education experts to assess the validity of the content and construct of the model. Content validity covers six main aspects, namely supporting theory, syntax, social system, reaction principle, support system, and model implementation, while construct validity covers seven aspects, including components of the learning model. The validation results show that the SINERGI learning model has a high level of validity with most indicators in the very valid category and reliability above 85% based on the Percentage of the Agreement method. This finding confirms that the SINERGI learning model is feasible to be applied in 21st-century science learning, although minor improvements are needed in the reaction principle aspect.

Abstract

The population in this study were all sixth grade elementary school students in Gugus II Ledokombo who implemented K13 with a total of 334 students. The sample consisted of 120 students who were divided into two experimental classes and two control classes using group random sampling technique. The instruments used were science learning outcomes tests and multicultural attitude questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using ANOVA. The results of this research show that: Testing the first hypothesis, the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted (analysis results: "model" significance value (A) = 39.508) (Sig. < 0.050)). This means that there is a significant difference in science learning outcomes between students who take CPS learning, which is higher than students who take conventional science learning. Testing the second hypothesis, the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted (analysis results: significance value of "multicultural model*attitude" (A*B) = 4.468 (Sig. < 0.050)). This means that there is a significant interaction effect between learning models in science learning and students' multicultural attitudes on students' science learning outcomes. Testing the third hypothesis, the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted (Qtable (0.050) = 4.11, Qcount =8.518, Qcount>Qtable). This means that there is a significant difference between the science learning outcomes of students who have high multicultural attitudes when they are given treatment using CPS learning and conventional learning. Testing the fourth hypothesis, the nu hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted (Qtable (0.050) = 4.11, Qcount =4.237, Qcount>Qtable). Abstract

ABSTRACT The use of interactive learning media in the biology learning process at SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja is still not optimal, thereby affecting students' interest in learning. The microorganism material, which covers three chapters, namely viruses, bacteria, and fungi, is one of the biology learning materials that is difficult for students to understand. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a learning medium with a structured learning model. This study aims to develop interactive web-based learning media using Google Sites based on problem-based learning for the topic of microorganisms, as well as to determine the validity and practicality of the learning media. The research conducted is a development study (Research and Development) using the ADDIE development model. The validity and practicality of the media were assessed by experts, biology teachers, and students. The research data were analyzed using validity and practicality test formulas. The validation results showed that the Google Sites web had a very high level of validity, with an average percentage of 93% from subject matter experts and 98,5% from media experts. The practicality of the media was also very good, with an average percentage of 93% based on the practicality test by teachers and 87% based on the practicality test by students. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that interactive learning based on problem-based learning (PBL) using Google Sites valid and practical for use in the learning process. ABSTRAK Penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif dalam pada proses pembelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja masih belum optimal, sehingga berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar peserta didik. Materi mikroorganisme yang meliputi tiga bab yaitu virus, bakteri dan jamur, merupakan salah satu materi dalam pembelajaran biologi yang sulit dipahami oleh siswa. Oleh karena itu, perlu dikembangkan suatu media pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran terstruktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif web google sites berbasis problem based learning pada materi mikroorganisme, serta untuk mengetahui tingkat validitas dan kepraktisan media pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penilaian validitas dan kepraktisan media melibatkan para ahli, guru biologi, dan peserta didik. Data hasil penelitian selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan rumus uji validitas dan kepraktisan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa web google sites memiliki tingkat validitas sangat tinggi, dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 93% dari ahli materi dan 98,5% dari ahli media. Kepraktisan media juga tergolong sangat baik, dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 93% berdasarkan uji kepraktisan oleh guru dan sebesar 87% berdasarkan uji kepraktisan siswa. Dari data hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif web google sites berbasis problem based learning valid dan praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami problematika yang dihadapi oleh sekolah dasar (SD) dalam pengembangan keterampilan literasi sains, serta menurmuskan teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mendukung pembelajaran IPA dan meningkatkan literasi sains. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif studi kasus pada sekolah dasar. Sample penelitian adalah dua sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Dompu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa masalah yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam implemenentasi pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar, yaitu sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran IPA yang terbatas, media dan tekonologi pembelajaran, keterbatasan sumber daya (human resourse), minat belajar peserta didik, silabus dan modul pembelajaran, ekosistem pembelajaran IPA yang memadai. Sementara itu, guru dan siswa mengalami kesulitas dan memahami konsep IPA yang abstrak ke dalam konsep yang kontekstual dan kurangnya pengalaman pratis guru dan sekolah dalam pembelajaran IPA.
