Abstract

The main urgency of this study is to evaluate the semantic difficulty level of TIMSS questions for Grade IV students, considering the impact of semantic difficulty on students' understanding of concepts, which has not been extensively researched. The purpose of this study is to assess the semantic difficulty level of TIMSS questions among Grade IV students at SDN Parsanga II. This study uses a descriptive research method. The research population includes all Grade IV students at SDN Parsanga II, with a sample size of 30 students randomly selected from the population. The research instruments consist of TIMSS questions and a semantic assessment checklist regarding question difficulty levels. Data analysis is conducted quantitatively. The semantic difficulty level of TIMSS questions is determined based on the percentage of correct answers from students, and the question difficulty level is calculated using the percentage of correct answers from the entire student sample. The results of the study reveal that a high number of correct answers indicates a good understanding of the tested concepts, while a high number of incorrect answers suggests difficulties in understanding the concepts or errors in processing information. This analysis provides valuable insights into student performance and question difficulty levels. Based on this understanding, test results can be evaluated more comprehensively, thus improving the quality of learning. Educators can identify students' difficulties and needs in understanding the tested concepts and design appropriate interventions to enhance their understanding

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPAS di SDN 19 Daun Puri kelas VI masih bersifat monoton, menyebabkan siswa kesulitan memahami konsep rotasi dan revolusi bumi, kurang termotivasi, dan mudah bosan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas multimedia interaktif berbasis guided inquiry dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) validitas multimedia oleh ahli materi dan media memperoleh skor 85,26% dan 90,00% (kategori valid); (2) kepraktisan dinilai oleh 2 guru dan 6 siswa, memperoleh skor 96,36% dan 95,45% (kategori sangat praktis); dan (3) efektivitas diuji pada 60 siswa, dengan rata-rata pretest 56,0 dan posttest 75,0 (kategori sedang), menunjukkan multimedia ini efektif. Hasil uji t-hitung 13,222 > t-tabel 2,002 membuktikan peningkatan signifikan. Analisis effect size mencapai 260% (kategori tinggi). Kesimpulannya, multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis guided inquiry efektif, praktis, dan valid dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI SD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran inovatif berupa accordion book berbasis proyek yang dilengkapi dengan QR Code pada materi sistem indera untuk siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Media ini dirancang tidak hanya sebagai sumber informasi, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pembelajaran aktif dan mandiri yang mendorong keterlibatan siswa melalui proyek dan integrasi teknologi. Proses pengembangan mengikuti model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), dengan validitas media diuji melalui lembar validasi ahli, kepraktisan melalui angket guru dan siswa, serta efektivitas melalui tes hasil belajar. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan perhitungan effect size. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media tergolong sangat valid (91,05% dari ahli materi dan 92,85% dari ahli media), sangat praktis (100% dari guru dan 92,50% dari siswa), serta sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat signifikan dari 60,83 menjadi 76,33, dengan effect size sebesar 2,28 yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa media accordion book berbasis proyek dengan dukungan QR Code merupakan alternatif yang tepat dan potensial dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara menyeluruh dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This systematic literature review examines digital technology-based policy approaches to enhance the quality and access of primary education in developing countries, a critical issue given the persistent disparities in educational equity and the urgent need for inclusive solutions. Despite the transformative potential of digital technologies, their implementation often fails due to infrastructure deficits, low teacher digital literacy, and contextual barriers. Analyzing 40 peer-reviewed articles (2019–2024), the study reveals a stark policy-implementation gap: while 68% of national policies prioritize infrastructure (e.g., internet connectivity), 70% of local challenges stem from infrastructure gaps and 65% from low teacher readiness. Successful cases, such as China's 85% school digitalization rate, underscore the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration and balanced budgeting (e.g., 30% infrastructure, 40% teacher training). However, rural areas lag significantly, with only 15% adoption in Albania due to electricity shortages. The findings highlight the limitations of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in addressing contextual challenges such as teacher technophobia (40%) and curriculum misalignment (55%). The study's implications are vital for policymakers: (1) adaptive policies must balance infrastructure investment with human capacity building; (2) hybrid learning models can bridge urban-rural divides, as proven by blended learning's 30–50% participation increase in remote areas; and (3) localized strategies, including culturally responsive teacher training, are essential for equitable adoption. The urban-centric data bias (80%) and pandemic-era context further necessitate longitudinal research in low-resource settings. By advocating for holistic frameworks that integrate infrastructure, pedagogy, and inclusive governance, this review provides a roadmap for sustainable digital education transformation in developing nations

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi sinergi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berbasis filosofi Tri Hita Karana (THK) dan implementasi pendekatan Merdeka Belajar dengan Value Clarification Technique (VCT) dalam mewujudkan sekolah berkarakter dan berwawasan lingkungan. Pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus diterapkan di SD dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, serta siswa. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang konsisten menerapkan Parahyangan, Pawongan, dan Palemahan menjadi katalis utama dalam menciptakan ekosistem sekolah yang harmonis dan mendukung inovasi. Integrasi Merdeka Belajar dan VCT dalam pembelajaran PKn berhasil mentransformasi proses belajar dari konvensional menjadi lebih aktif, relevan, dan bermakna. Siswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pembentukan karakter holistic sesuai Profil Pelajar Pancasila: tanggung jawab, kepedulian, empati, kemandirian, dan semangat gotong royong, yang secara nyata. Implementasi prinsip THK dalam kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terbukti menunjukkan adanya signifikansi peningkatan dalam mentransformasi lingkungan fisik sekolah menjadi lebih hijau dan bersih, sekaligus menguatkan budaya peduli lingkungan di seluruh warga sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the Hamzar Eduline Information System, a new application designed to improve the performance of elementary school teachers at the Maraqitta’limat Foundation. The system was developed using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The analysis stage was conducted to identify the needs of teachers and principals regarding performance assessment tools. During the design and development stages, the system was built using Google Sites and equipped with objective-based performance test features, featuring an attractive design tailored to user needs. The product was validated by subject matter experts and information system experts, who awarded a validity score of 91.67 (categorized as very valid). A practicality test involving the school principal and teachers yielded excellent results, with the principal giving a score of 96.36 and teachers giving an average of 3.52 out of 4. The effectiveness test showed that 75 percent of the teachers reached the good to very good category in performance assessment after using the information system. These results demonstrate that Hamzar Eduline is a new, effective, practical, and feasible application to support the improvement of elementary school teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of the Audio-Visual-Based Sociodrama Method on enhancing learning motivation and Indonesian language skills among fifth-grade students at SDN 4 Mamben Daya. The research employed an experimental design with two groups: an experimental group using the Audio-Visual-Based Sociodrama method and a control group receiving conventional instruction. The assignment of experimental and control classes was done randomly. The study population consisted of all upper-grade students at SDN 4 Mamben Daya, totaling 101 students, from which 45 students were selected as the research sample. The results showed: First, there is a significant difference in learning motivation between students who participated in the Audio-Visual-Based Sociodrama Method and those who received conventional instruction. Second, there is a significant difference in Indonesian speaking skills between the two groups. Third, there is a significant difference in learning motivation and Indonesian speaking skills between students taught using the Audio-Visual-Based Sociodrama Method and those taught conventionally. In conclusion, the Audio-Visual-Based Sociodrama Method is effective in enhancing both learning motivation and Indonesian speaking skills among elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rancang bangun, validitas, dan kepraktisan multimedia pembelajaran berorientasi budaya lokal pada materi sistem saraf manusia kelas XI SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dan berlokasi di SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan uji validitas oleh 2 ahli media dan 2 ahli materi, dan dilakukan uji kepraktisan oleh 3 guru biologi dan 35 peserta didik kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berhasil dipadukan dengan budaya lokal dan materi sistem saraf manusia. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan bahwa skor validitas media sebesar 93,75% dan skor validitas materi sebesar 88,75%. Hasil kedua skor tersebut dikategorikan sangat valid. Hasil uji kepraktisan menghasilkan skor 95% dari guru dan skor 92,2% dari peserta didik. Kedua hasil skor tersebut dikategorikan sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil kedua uji tersebut, multimedia pembelajaran berorientasi budaya lokal pada materi sistem saraf manusia dinyatakan sangat valid dan sangat praktis untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.
