Abstract

Abstract This research is a quantitative research with an explanatory approach, namely an approach that uses a number of previous studies as the main reference so that the hypothesis presented by the researcher in this study can be proven. The data used in this article is primary data that researchers obtained from employees of the PUPR Ministry spread throughout Indonesia. The data were collected through a questionnaire containing five statements, namely strongly agree, agree, normal/so-so, disagree, and strongly disagree. The collected data were analyzed using the smart PLS 4.0 analysis tool. The result in this article show that each hypothesis that the researcher put forward in this article can be proven comprehensively because the P-Values are positive and below the significance level of 0.05, namely 0.003. In the first hypothesis, the Leadership Style variable can have a positive relationship direction and a significant influence on Company Performance because the P-Values value of 0.003 is positive and below the significance level.. These results are due to a good Leadership Style that can make leaders and employees compact which can ultimately affect Company Performance. In addition, in the next hypothesis, the Good Corporate Governance variable can moderate the influence of the Leadership Style variable on Company Performance because of the same thing, namely the P-Values value is positive and is below the significance level of 0.05, namely 0.000, which is more significant than the direct test of 0.003. Thus, the first and second hypotheses in this article can be accepted. Keywords : Good Corpotrate Governance, Financial Performance, Leadership Style

Abstract

Background: In Indonesia, geriatric population in the year 2005 was 15.8 million (7.2 % population), and expected to reach 11.34% in the year 2020. There was growing evidence for poor sleep as an independent risk factor for poor physical and mental health. Geriatric population may be particularly vulnerable to effects of sleep disturbance due to significant age-related changes in both sleep and inflammatory regulationObjective: To study the epidemiological (gender, age group) and health status (co-morbidities), sleep quality according to Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and its associations in geriatric population hospitalized in General Hospital in Karawaci, Tangerang, Banten Province, Indonesia.Materials and Methods: A hospital based cross sectional study was conducted from January to June 2014. A total of 92 subjects aged 60 years and above were selected consecutively from hospitalized geriatric patients for this study. The data was analyzed by means and proportions. Results: The male and female subjects were 51.1% and 48.9%. Mean age was 66.79 + 5.448 years. The age group of 60 - 75 years and above 75 years was 92.4% and 7.6% consecutively. Subjects with diabetes, hypertension, allergy, asthma, cardiac failure and chronic kidney disease were 30.4%, 62.0%, 18.5%, 21.7%, 21.7%, 20.7% consecutively and 63.0% with more than 2 co-morbidities. According to PSQI 72.8% subjects have poor sleep quality. Associations between poor sleep quality to epidemiological and health status were not significant except for diabetes (RR= 3.208 [95% CI: 1.045 - 9.848], p = 0.022) and chronic kidney disease (RR= 6.247 [95% CI: 0.902 - 43.279], p = 0.017)Conclusions: Seventy two percents of subjects have poor sleep quality, and associations between poor sleep quality to epidemiological and health status were not significant except for diabetes.

Abstract

Dividend policy is one of the most important decisions in a company's financial management, as it is directly related to the interests of shareholders and the continuity of the company's operations. This research is quantitative. It focuses on analyzing the influence of company size, profitability, and solvency on dividend policy in manufacturing companies in Indonesia. The data in this study are secondary data obtained from reports published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population used in this study consists of manufacturing companies observed during the period from 2020 to 2024. The data analysis technique in this study uses Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with SPSS. The results of this study indicate that company size, profitability, and solvency have a partial and simultaneous significant effect on dividend policy in manufacturing companies in Indonesia. This suggests that a single factor does not determine dividend policy, but rather the result of a comprehensive consideration of a company's capacity (represented by company size), profit-generating ability (profitability), and the soundness of its capital structure (solvency).
