Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi sangat penting sebagai penunjang keberhasilan terlaksananya layanan bimbingan karier dalam peta Keputusan masa depan peserta didik. Untuk membantu pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan karier, guru bimbingan dan konseling perlu mempertimbanan Teknik yang digunakan dan juga media sesuai era majunya teknologi sekarang yaitu menggunakan video dengan Teknik modeling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penelitian relevan untuk mengetahui  efektifitas penggunaan teknologi yaitu media layanan bimbingan karier dengan Teknik modeling untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan karier peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan menggunakan pedoman PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items For Systematic Review And Meta Analyses). Pada penelitian ini adan 8 jurnal pada tahun 2021-2024 yang dikaji pada website Google Scholar dengan kata kunci “Layanan bimbingan karier dan Teknik modeling”. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa layanan bimbingan karier dinyatakan efektif untuk menunjang pengetahuan karier peserta didik dikarenakan Teknik modeling yang digunakan sesuai kebutuhan mereka dan dapat menambah pengetahuan mengenai karier.

Abstract

The process of attaining adolescent self-identity is strongly influenced by environmental conditions in which group culture greatly influences its success. Therefore students need to have a mantab cultural awareness to minimize the negative influence of the surrounding culture. Cultural awareness is a competence that naturally exists in the individual and develops according to the pattern of individual development, meaning individual cultural awareness can be developed.Limitations on the number of school counselors lead to many unresolved issues. Peer guidance program (peer counselor) is one solution to help students. Given the importance of the position of peer counselor then it is necessary that the media develop the competence of multicultural counselors in self counselor peer. One of the competencies developed is the competence of cultural awareness. Cultural awareness competencies help peer counselors to integrate their surrounding culture with their own culture, meaning that this competency is a capability that helps peer counselors take a proactive stance toward cultural differences, recognize and value each individual's multiculturality.   The importance of developing multicultural counselor competencies in peer counselors has not been matched by the development of the media. Therefore, it takes a medium that can be used as a guide for peer counselors in developing their cultural awareness competence. The media is a cultural awareness module for peer counselors. Development This module is limited to acceptability stages that meet the four aspects of standard usability, convenience, accuracy and propriety. With the module developed, it is expected to maximize the implementation of peer guidance in school.   Validation tests are performed by media validators, material validators and users. The revision of phase 1 is done after material validation and revision phase 2 after media validation. Material validation is done by counseling expert with minimum education qualification of S2 and teaching cross-cultural counseling course, media validation is done by expert in media with minimum qualification S2. User validation is performed by peer counselors at SMAN 11 Surabaya.   From the expert validation result get the percentage value 85,93% from media validator, 87,5% from material validator and 82,5% from user validator for usability aspect, feasibility, accuracy, and propriety. The averages when adjusted to the assessment criteria according to Mustaji (2005: 102) turned out to fall into very good category (81% -100%). So it can be stated that this cultural awareness module meets the criteria of acceptability with very good predicate, no need to be revised.

Abstract

This article aims to bibliometrically analyze the use of jumputan batik media in career guidance to increase cultural awareness in children. Using a bibliometric analysis approach, this study identifies trends, publication patterns, and relationships between the topics of career guidance, culture, and learning media, specifically jumputan batik, which serves as a tool to foster cultural awareness. The analysis showed that the integration of jumputan batik media in career guidance delivery is effective in introducing children to local cultural values, thus enhancing their understanding of cultural diversity. The research can also reveal that the approach used can enrich children’s learning experience in developing career skills and can also strengthen their cultural identity. Overall, this study suggests that career guidance using local cultural media, such as jumputan batik, has great potential to support in the formation of children’s character who are adaptive and sensitive to cultural differences in the context of an increasingly global and multicultural world of work.

Abstract

Gender equality bocome an endlessly topic tobe discussed since there are so many problems which are still discussed excisting. In this study, the islamic boarding school became an interesting subject whare the existence of gender equality is believed as a new value which was voiced the western culture. It also became a concern that gender equality may break the establishment of cultures contruction. In fact, women is more experiencedin gender inequlity than men. This can be seen in various scopes and sectors. The purpose of this research is to answer and providing the solution for existing gender equality problems. Bydeveloping woman class to produce a training device. Which can be used to give conseling service at school. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative by using Intructuralational Development Institute (IDI). The subjects of this research were students atMadrasah Aliyah Islamis Boarding School Sirojul Hikmah Bojonegoro. The result of the content and material test carried out by the experts, mentioned that each of them has a high percentage with good information and no need to be revised. The result of this research found that the conseling devices which was known and could be applied in Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

Kearifan lokal merupakan warisan budaya yang memiliki nilai-nilai luhur dan dapat dijadikan sebagai landasan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Dalam bidang konseling, pendekatan budaya berperan penting dalam proses terapeutik untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan hubungan konseli dengan lingkungannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kearifan lokal Hasthalaku sebagai pendekatan konseling multibudaya untuk meningkatkan harmoni sosial. Hasthalaku merupakan konsep dari budaya Jawa yang mencakup delapan prinsip hidup yang menekankan pada nilai-nilai kebaikan, kerjasama, dan keseimbangan dalam hubungan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur untuk mengkaji bagaimana prinsip-prinsip Hasthalaku dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam praktik konseling multibudaya untuk meningkatkan harmoni sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan nilai-nilai Hasthalaku dalam konseling dapat membantu individu memahami dan menghargai keragaman budaya, mengurangi konflik, serta membangun hubungan yang harmonis dalam masyarakat. Dengan demikian, kearifan lokal Hasthalaku tidak hanya berperan sebagai pendekatan konseling yang efektif, tetapi juga sebagai sarana untuk memperkuat ikatan sosial dalam konteks masyarakat multikultural.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the success of qanaah coping as a training approach to improve the psychological well-being of students.  Qanaah in Islam is a disposition of accepting and finding contentment in the results of one's endeavours, while eschewing sentiments of discontent and inadequacy.  The participants in this study were eight students demonstrating diminished psychological well-being attributable to maladaptive thought habits.  The study utilised a one-group pretest-posttest design, implementing cognitive restructuring via qanaah coping inside a group counselling framework.  The study employed a psychological well-being scale with 26 reliable items to assess the intervention's efficacy.  The instrument had substantial dependability, evidenced by a Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of 0.898.  Given that the significance value exceeded 0.05, the instrument was considered acceptable.  The results indicated a t-score of -5.767 and a significance level of 0.001, which is below 0.05, signifying statistical significance.  The mean psychological well-being score improved from 60.685 in the pre-test to 109.105 in the post-test, resulting in the null hypothesis being rejected.  The qanaah coping technique was determined to be beneficial in enhancing the psychological well-being of students in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in cultural and ethnic diversity. Each culture serves as a unique identity for different ethnic groups, shaping the behavior, traditions, and way of life of its people. This multicultural diversity presents challenges in counseling practice, especially for counselors who must understand and respond to the needs of clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Multicultural counseling emerges as an approach that is sensitive to cultural differences, emphasizing the importance of understanding diverse values, norms, and cultural perspectives to ensure effective counseling processes. This article describes the essence of multicultural counseling, the concept of culture, and culture as a system of societal values and practices. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a literature study approach, this research provides an in-depth analysis of the counselor’s role in addressing cultural diversity and the implications of cultural values in guidance and counseling practice. The findings indicate that a deep understanding of the client's culture and the application of cultural relativism principles are crucial to avoid cultural bias and provide fair and empathetic services.

Abstract

Everyone always tries to achieve a prosperous life, through fulfilling their needs, whether biological, psychological, social, or spiritual. If in the process they encounter obstacles or failures, then the individual will experience feelings of discomfort, frustration, or even depression. In this condition, the individual needs the help of a counselor to help him return his position to a comfortable situation. As humans who grow and develop in different environments and at different times, of course there are cultural differences between counselors and clients. The relationship between counselors and clients in a humanitarian situation, which means that both counselors and clients are humans with their own characteristics, both personality, values, morals, and culture that they bring, is called multicultural counseling. Counseling techniques must also be adjusted to the situation and conditions faced while still paying attention to the cultural values ​​that apply to the counselor and client.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Guidance and counseling services in schools play a crucial role in supporting the optimal development of students. A holistic and multicultural approach is key to addressing the complex needs of culturally and psychologically diverse learners. This article examines the Pancawaskita Counseling model popularized by Prof. Dr. Prayitno, Msc. Ed. as one of the models integrating holistic and multicultural approaches in school counseling services. Through literature review and conceptual analysis, this study shows that the Pancawaskita model can provide comprehensive and responsive services to cultural diversity and psychosocial needs of students. The research stages involved searching, selecting, and analyzing various relevant literature sources to thoroughly evaluate the concept and implementation of the Pancawaskita Counseling Model. This study also emphasizes the importance of counselors having cultural sensitivity and the ability to understand holistic dimensions in the development of school counseling services. The Pancawaskita Counseling Model is a holistic and multicultural approach that places spiritual and cultural values at the core of counseling services to meet students' needs comprehensively and inclusively. ABSTRAK Layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah memiliki peranan penting dalam mendukung perkembangan siswa secara optimal. Pendekatan holistik dan multikultural menjadi kunci dalam menjawab kompleksitas kebutuhan peserta didik yang beragam secara budaya dan psikologis. Artikel ini mengkaji model Konseling Pancawaskita yang dipopulerkan oleh Prof. Dr. Prayitno, Msc. Ed. sebagai salah satu model yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan holistik dan multikultural dalam praktik layanan bimbingan dan konseling sekolah. Melalui kajian literatur dan analisis konsep, artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa model Pancawaskita mampu memberikan layanan yang komprehensif dan responsif terhadap keragaman budaya serta kebutuhan psikososial siswa. Tahapan penelitian dilakukan dengan menelusuri, memilih, dan menganalisis berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan untuk mengevaluasi secara mendalam konsep dan implementasi model Konseling Pancawaskita. Studi ini juga menekankan pentingnya konselor untuk memiliki sensitivitas budaya dan kemampuan memahami dimensi-dimensi holistik dalam pengembangan layanan konseling di sekolah. Model Konseling Pancawaskita merupakan pendekatan holistik dan multikultural yang menempatkan nilai-nilai spiritual dan budaya sebagai inti layanan konseling untuk memenuhi kebutuhan siswa secara menyeluruh dan inklusif.

Abstract

Globalisasi membawa dampak besar terhadap keberlangsungan budaya lokal, termasuk budaya Suku Dayak di Kalimantan. Modernisasi dan perkembangan teknologi mempengaruhi cara hidup masyarakat Dayak, terutama generasi muda, yang mulai mengalami pergeseran nilai dan budaya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi untuk mempertahankan kearifan lokal agar tidak tergerus oleh arus globalisasi. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat diterapkan adalah konseling multibudaya. Konseling ini berperan dalam membantu individu memahami, menghargai, dan mempertahankan budaya lokal mereka di tengah perubahan sosial. Dengan pendekatan berbasis budaya, konseling multibudaya dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat Dayak terhadap pentingnya melestarikan nilai-nilai tradisional. Artikel ini membahas pengaruh globalisasi terhadap kearifan lokal Suku Dayak, tantangan yang mereka hadapi, serta strategi konseling multibudaya dalam mempertahankan budaya mereka. Metode penulisan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Literature. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa konseling multibudaya dapat menjadi solusi dalam menjaga identitas budaya Dayak dengan menanamkan rasa bangga terhadap budaya lokal, membangun toleransi, dan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
