The rapid development of technology and information affect many fields, including education. In field of education, the development of technology and information can be observed in the use of e-learning in learning activities. E-learning is a systems that allows learning activities to occur without being limited by space and time so tha learning activities can be carried out even though teachers and students do not meet face to face. One of the easiest to use e-learning is edmodo. Edmodo is an e-learning platform that has easy acces like the facebook social media platform. Research on edmodo was carried out with the aim of producing valid edmodo learning media. The research was carried out using the Research and Development (R&D) method with 4-D model. Validation is carried out on four main aspect, namely the feasibility of content, language, presentation, and graphics. From the validation process on these four aspects, the validity value is 89,51% with valid category. Therefore, the edmodo learning media that was developed was valid.

The aims of this research are to result valid and practice student texs book bases on inquiry and science literate for junior High School. This research used Plomp Models: a preliminary investi-gation (preliminary research), stage of development or prototype creation stage (development or pro-totyping phase), and the stage of assessment (assessment phase). The subject research were thirty stu-dents from Juniorr High School 12 Padang. Data is primary data collected directly from validation and practicality questionnaires. Data analyze descriptively statistic. The result shows that student texs book have 89,29%, in validity and 86,57% in practicality by teachers and 83,72% in practicality by students. It can conclude that student texs book bases on inquiry and science literate have valid and practice to use in learning.

Kurikulum Tahun 2013 menuntut peserta didik untuk dapat belajar secara aktif, mandiri, dan bepikir kritis. Salah satunya pada pembelajaran biologi dirasakan perlu adanya kemampuan berpikir kritis. Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan kemampuan yang digunakan untuk memahami konsep, menerapkan, mensintesis dan mengevaluasi informasi yang diperoleh. Upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran yang tepat. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis adalah adalah model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Randomized Control-Group Pretest Posttest Design. Sampel yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 1 (untuk kelompok kelas eksperimen dengan model Discovery Learning), XI IPA 2 (untuk kelompok kelas kontrol dengan model Direct Instruction). Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data hasil penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif kemampuan berpikir kritis. Data diperoleh dari tes soal sebanyak 5 soal esai yang sebelumnya sudah di validasi dan di reliabilitasi. Penelitian yang dilakukan memperoleh hasil bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning berpengaruh positif pada kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi jaringan tumbuhan.

The low problem solving skills of students is caused by the ongoing learning process that is not yet fully centered on students and the learning model used is not optimal and varied. This study aims to determine the problem solving skills of students in class X IPA SMAN 1 Matur. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class X science at SMAN 1 Matur in the academic year 2021/2022. The research sample was students of class X IPA 1 as the control class and X IPA 2 as the experimental class. Sampling using total sampling technique. The instrument used is a question sheet in the form of an essay question consisting of 6 questions. The results showed that the problem-solving skills of the experimental class were higher than that of the control class with an average pretest of the experimental class (66.71), the posttest of the experimental class (77.84), the pretest of the control class (59.13) and the posttest of the control class ( 68.55). Data analysis was carried out by using paired sample t-test which showed that the significant value of the sample class was <0.05, namely 0.00. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of applying the RANDAI learning model to the problem solving skills of students in class X IPA SMAN 1 Matur.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui etnobotani pada prosesi mao kayi masyarakat desa pendung hilir Kabupaten Kerinci. Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan metode eksploratif. Sumber data berasal dari masyarakat Desa pendung Hilir yang dipilih secara purposive sampling.Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi lapangan dan wawancara terstruktur. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat 14 Spesies dan 14 famili tumbuhan yang digunakan dalam proses mao kayi masyarakat Desa Pendung Hilir. Upacara mao kayi dalam masyarakat desa pendung hilir terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan memanfaatkan 4 jenis tanaman yang terdiri dari Sirih (Piper betle), Kemenyan (Styrax benzoin Dryand), Pinang ( Areca catechu) dan gambir (Uncaria), Tahap memandikan bayi ke sungai atau sumur memanfaatkan 7 jenis tanaman berupa Bunga kembang sepatu ( Hibiscus rosa-sinensis), Rumput teki (Cyperus rotundus), Bunga Pagoda (Cleianthus coccineus Lour), Bunga Kertas (Bougainvillea glabra), Bunga Mawar ( Rosa sp.), Andong (Cordyline fructosa) dan Bunga Kamboja (Plumeria) dan tahap setelah memandikan memanfaatkan 3 jenis tanaman kunyit ( Cucurma domestica), Melati ( Jasmimum sambac) dan Kenanga (Cananga odorata).

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat keterampilan berpikir reflektif peserta didik pada pembelajaran biologi melalui penerapan model problem solving berbasis isu sosiosaintifik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre-Experimental dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas X SMAN 3 Pariaman tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Sampel penelitian kelas X E1 dengan 35 orang peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar soal keterampilan berpikir reflektif. Soal dalam bentuk essay sebanyak 8 butir. Pada setiap butir soal mencakup aspek keterampilan berpikir reflektif yang terdiri dari reacting, comparing, dan contemplating. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes tertulis. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dengan bantuan SPSS 29 for windows. Berdasarkan uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterampilan berpikir reflektif yang signifikansi melalui penerapan model problem solving berbasis isu sosiosaintifik. Dari ketiga aspek yang diukur, peningkatan rata-rata nilai keterampilan berpikir reflektif paling tinggi pada aspek reacting sebanyak 14,2, kemudian comparing meningkat sebanyak 11,2, dan yang mengalami peningkatan paling rendah pada aspek contemplating yaitu 7.

Local wisdom can be integrated into education through learning resources. Gulai Kasam is an example of local wisdom owned by the people of Kaur district, Bengkulu Province which can be used as a biology learning resource. The aim of this research is to identify the potential of gulai kasam as a biology learning resource, especially in biotechnology material. The type of the research used is descriptive qualitative with the research subject local wisdom where the author examines and describes the potential of local wisdom of gulai kasam by linking the fermentation process that occurs in making Gulai Kasam and what ingredients are found in the manufacturing process which is used as a biological learning resource. The research was carried out in Selika village, Bengkulu Province in April 2023. The data that had been obtained was then described through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, data conclusion. The results showed that gulai kasam has the potential to be a source of learning biology on biotechnology materials because in the manufacture of gulai kasam there are fermentation processes that can be used as an alternative so that students can more easily understand traditional biotechnology.

This research aims to identify and describe the Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model to improve students' argumentation skills in science learning. The method used in this research is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. From the search strategy results, 75 articles were found from 2017 to 2023, then selected gradually and systematically into 20 articles relevant to the topic of the ADI model in science learning. The analysis of journal article reviews based on SLR proves that the ADI learning model can be implemented using various learning media and significantly influences students' argumentation abilities in science learning. Apart from that, this argumentation ability also provides improvement for students who have different academic abilities. The ADI model can also improve other skills, such as understanding concepts, critical thinking, and learning outcomes.

Students often experience difficulties in learning biology. This research aims to develop digital booklets based on 3D images in biology learning at SMA/MA as learning media to help students understand the material easily. Methods Research was conducted in a literature review using references from Google Scholar that were relevant to the research. There were 65 articles for development keywords and 10 articles for recapitulation data. The average validity results were in the very valid category. The validity test assesses the feasibility of a product, language, data presentation, and graphics. 3D-based digital booklets have met the requirements as media to be used in biology learning. The results show that the 3D-based digital booklets are the right solution for various problems, especially in biology learning at school. The benefits of development research are to increase the effectiveness of students in the learning process, provide convenience in accessing digital booklet media, and provide concise and systematic explanations that are easy to understand.

Mata pelajaran IPA ialah mata pelajaran yang membutuhkan banyak media pembelajaran sebagai penunjang materi ajar bahkan pada umumnya dapat dikatakan bahwa materi IPA tidak dapat dipahami dengan baik apabila tanpa bantuan media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan meliputi, media pembelajaran di dalam kelas seperti LCD komputer untuk menayangkan contoh visualisasi dari proses pembelajaran, dan penggunaan media lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA tingkat SD, SMP, maupun SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah meta-analisis dengan melakukan telaah terhadap 20 artikel yang terbit di jurnal nasional yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kuantitatif dimana penelitian ini memadukan hasil penelitian untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, penggunaan berbagai media pembelajaran IPA menggunakan nilai pretest dan posttest siswa. Hasil effect size menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 1.1 dengan kategori efek sangat besar. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA.
