Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to describe the form of teacher apperception in early reading and writing learning for young children in the biMBA AIUEO. This study uses a qualitative approach to the design of field studies. Based on the results of the study, it was found that in apperception teachers in learning to begin reading can be classified into three things, namely analogy, question-answer, singing. First, use an analogy. The analogy conducted by the teacher includes (1) analogy using flashcard media, (2) analogy using objects and or symbols. Second, do question and answer. Question and answer that is done by the teacher includes questioning the old or previous material and question-answer of new material. Third, do the singing. Singing activities performed by the teacher use the BDG-KMPSY song.Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud apersepsi guru dalam pembelajaran membaca permulaan bagi anak usia dini di biMBA AIUEO. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa dalam apersepsi guru dalam pembelajaran membaca permulaan dapat diklasifikasikan menjadi tiga temuan, yaitu analogi, tanya-jawab, bernyanyi. Pertama, menggunakan analogi. Analogi yang dilakukan oleh guru meliputi (1) analogi menggunakan media flashcard, (2) analogi menggunakan benda dan atau simbol. Kedua, melakukan tanya-jawab. Tanya-jawab yang dilakukan oleh guru meliputi tanya-jawab materi lama atau sebelumnya dan tanya-jawab materi baru. Ketiga,  melakukan kegiatan bernyanyi. Kegiatan bernyanyi yang dilakukan guru menggunakan lagu BDG-KMPSY.

Abstract

Industri Kerupuk Impala Desa Jatisari, Kecamatan Tajinan, Kabupaten Malang memiliki peluang usaha yang dapat dikembangkan. Namun perlu dilakukan pendampingan dalam hal pengemasan produk agar dapat meningkatkan nilai ekonomisnya. Pendampingan yang dilakukan melalui pelatihan kewirausahaan pada produk khas Desa Jatisari, Kecamatan Tajinan ini diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Kegiatan produksi yang dilakukan masih tergolong sangat sederhana begitu juga dengan aspek pemasarannya. Produk dikemas dengan cara kuno yaitu hanya menggunakan kemasan plastik yang direkatkan dengan lilin dan ada beberapa yang belum menggunakan label. Melalui kegiatan pendampingan pengemasan ini, para produsen Kerupuk Impala dapat menuangkan kreatifitasnya melalui pemberian label pada masing-masing produk yang dapat menjadi ciri khas tersendiri. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan secara berkesinambungan guna menghasilkan produk dengan kemasan yang optimal, selain itu dapat juga sebagai forum kelompok produsen kerupuk impala dalam memasarkan produknya.

Abstract

Abstract: Thai students in Malang are confronting difficulties in writing scientific research. The purpose this research is to know the behavior of discovery and presentation of ideas in writing scientific works. This was descriptive qualitative research with case study model. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation studies. It can be concluded that Thai students in Malang produce a distinctive pattern in the discovery and presentation of ideas in writing scientific works, consisting of eight stages starting with determining topics, asking friends, obtaining reference sources, digging deeply into the sources obtained, conducting important selections, storing data, verifying data, and presenting data.Abstrak: Sulitnya menulis karya ilmiah bagi mahasiswa Thailand di Malang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar mereka di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perilaku penemuan dan penyajian gagasan dalam menulis karya ilmiah. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan model studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa Thailand di Malang menghasilkan pola yang khas dalam penemuan dan penyajian gagasan dalam menulis karya ilmiah, terdiri dari delapan tahapan dimulai dengan menentukan topik, bertanya kepada teman, mendapatkan sumber rujukan, menggali secara mendalam terhadap sumber yang didapat, melakukan pemilihan yang penting, menyimpan data, melakukan verifikasi data, dan melakukan penyajian data.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the need for reading comprehension materials for Thai students with an intermediate Indonesian language competency level. Thai students are distinguished in character from students from other countries. Based on the issue, research on the need for reading comprehension materials for intermediate Thai students is imperative. Reading comprehension materials are composed of three crucial aspects, i.e., tangibility, content, and material structure. Results demonstrate that intermediate Thai students called for reading comprehension and grammar materials. There were eight chapters addressing reading comprehension materials, each of which contained the learning objectives, advocating information, exercises, and translation in Thai.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kebutuhan materi dalam bahan ajar membaca pemahaman bagi mahasiswa Thailand dengan kemampuan berbahasa Indonesia tingkat menengah. Mahasiswa asal Thailand memiliki karakteristik khusus yang berbeda dengan mahasiswa asal negara lain. Berdasarkan kekhususan tersebut, diperlukan penelitian tentang kebutuhan mahasiswa Thailand tingkat menengah yang berkaitan dengan materi pembelajaran dalam bahan ajar. Bahan ajar membaca pemahaman memiliki tiga aspek penting, yaitu wujud, isi, dan struktur materi. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kebutuhan bahan ajar bagi mahasiswa Thailand tingkat menengah terdiri atas materi ajar membaca pemahaman dan tata bahasa. Terdapat delapan bab yang berkaitan dengan bahan ajar membaca pemahaman. Setiap bab memuat tujuan pembelajaran, informasi pendukung, latihan, dan terjemahan bahasa Thai.

Abstract

Gandrung is a distinctive art that has become the mascot of Banyuwangi tourism. Behind the fame of Gandrung's art today, there is a debate concerning the existence of Gandrung. The debate occurred between two groups who had different views about Gandrung. This study aims to dissect the reality of the existence of Gandrung based on these different views. The focus of this research is the reality of Gandrung in the Osing community in Banyuwangi. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data of this research are in the form of utterances sourced from the results of interviews with Gandrung art activist informants. Based on data analysis, it was found that Gandrung's reality in Banyuwangi included: (1) Gandrung and art for struggle, (2) Gandrung differences then and now, (3) Gandrung art is not a ritual, (4) Gandrung dancers are not highly educated, (5) Gandrung is considered far from religion, and (6) Gandrung is a good user of witchcraft.

Abstract

The study outlined in this article aimed to describe teaching materials and techniques needed by foreign students in learning Bahasa Indonesia. In learning BIPA, teaching materials and learningtechniques are important aspects that need to be selected and organized seriously. The characteristics and objectives of BIPA learners are the main factors that need to be considered and understood by BIPA teachers. In this case, BIPA teachers must master the pedagogical norm of BIPA learning. Understanding of pedagogical norms will lead BIPA teachers to be able to determine the materials and learning techniques in accordance with the conditions of BIPAstudents.

Abstract

The purposes of the study were to determine the forms of teachers’ utterances and the forms of teachers’ speech techniques that represent character education in early childhood learning. The data was collected by conducting observation, recording, and interviews. The sources of the research data were four teachers who taught in the fourth grade, namely SDN Kebun Bunga 1 and SDIT Ukhuwah. The results showed that the teachers’ utterances which represent character education in early childhood learning appeared in various forms of utterances and speech techniques in accordance with the context of the situation said. First, the forms of utterance that represent character education in teaching was realized through the use of dictions and the form of speech presentation. The dictions usage includes the use of the modality, the use of pronouns, the use of adjectives, and the use of verbs. In the form of the teachers’ speech presentation, it included direct and indirect speech presentation. Second, the speech development techniques included repetition technique, explanation technique, and detailed technique. The character educations represented through teachers’ utterance were the character of religion, discipline, hard work, responsibility, honesty, environment caring, national spirit, curiosity, intelligence, independency, social care, and tolerance.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to determine the persuasive language in the business advertorial advertisements in online daily news which it has seen from persuasive language forms (included diction and expressions), persuasive techniques, and discourse structures. The design of the study is using a qualitative approach and used a content analysis study. The research findings indicate that persuasive language forms and persuasive techniques used to give profit, explain product competition, and establish product quality. Discourse structures in business advertorial advertisements have two major patterns, namely conventional and unconventional.

Abstract

The discourse of marriage tradition when viewed based on a theoretical point of view will result in a form of concepts, meanings, and functions. In this case, the discourse of the tradition in question is the discourse of the sorong serah aji krama tradition. The discourse of this tradition is found in the Lombok-Sasak area located in Jonggat Subdistrict, Central Lombok District, West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB). The axes of aji krama contained in this area have levels ranging from the bottom of the so-called 33, 66, and 100. In this case, the study is to find the value contained in the level aji krama is also explained to the community that in the level of aji krama is not only limited to discourse or celebration in a mere cultural symbol, but contains the value of philosophical life. In this case, the method used in collecting data is an interview with a prominent traditional figure who knows the ins and outs of the tradition of handling the aji krama well. Thus, the data in this study is verbal aspect in the form of interviews related to the level of aji krama contained in the area. Data analysis in this case uses Hermeneutic’s Ricoeur's thinking framework that sees a text of three levels, namely semantic level, philosophical level, and level of existence. Based on the results of this study, thrust of aji krama as a tradition of marriage which also has aji aji krama level has a strong philosophical foundation. It can be seen from the level of aji 33 which shows an understanding of self, God, and all his power obtained through understanding the nature of Allah SWT. Aji 66 is a multilevel of understanding aji 33 approaching to the category of human being (rodiallah) and aji 100 is the highest category to the understanding of the nature of self and God and all forms of his power gained from a deep understanding of the 99 ulma asthma that leads to one form, that is Allah SWT. Thus, the understanding is a category of local wisdom that contains the value of character and is represented in the form of religious character.

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan E-bookCara Mangerteni Nulis Cerkak Nganggo Sumber Ide saka Gambar Berseri Kanggo SMA/SMK Kelas XIIyang layak digunakan sebagai buku alternatif dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa E-book Cara Mangerteni Nulis Cerkak Nganggo Sumber Ide saka Gambar Berseri Kanggo SMA/SMK Kelas XIIini layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan dari hasil validasi dan uji coba produk didapatkan persentase kelayakan sebesar 88,3% dari ahli materi, 76,9% dari ahli media, 92% dari praktisi dan 94,16% dari subjek uji. Dari data tersebut, keseluruhan persentase yang didapat adalah 71,34% yang dinilai layak untuk diimplementasikan.
