Abstract

This research aims to determine the planning, implementation and evaluation as well as the obstacles that arise in providing the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) for students at SMP Negeri 4 Bontoramba. The type of research used in this research is qualitative using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection procedures are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that: 1) Planning for providing the Indonesian Program (PIP) at SMP Negeri 4 Bontoramba was carried out by (a) Entering a list of names of students in the Basic Education Data or usually abbreviated as Dapodik, (b) Proposing potential students to receive BSM/PIP funds , (c) Monitoring the process of collecting funds for Poor Student Assistance or usually abbreviated as BSM/PIP, and (d) Accepting children aged 6 (six) to 21 (twenty one) years old holders of Smart Indonesia Cards or usually abbreviated as KIP who have not/dropped school. 2) The implementation of the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) is based on the PIP Implementation Principles, namely (a) Efficient, (b) Effective, (c) Transparent, (d) Accountable, (e) Appropriateness, and (f) Benefits.  And 3) Evaluation and reporting of the Smart Indonesia Program evaluation is carried out every time the Evaluation Program funds provided for the Smart Indonesia Program have been given in accordance with the Monitoring and evaluation of article 15 of Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 12 of 2015 concerning Monitoring and evaluation of PIP implementation carried out by the relevant directorate general, provincial education office, and /or the district/city education office according to their authority. 4) The obstacle in implementing Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 12 of 2015 is that the Evaluation of the Smart Indonesia Card Program which is carried out in each period causes changes, especially in the mechanism, especially for students who do not have a Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) who cannot receive the Smart Indonesia Program even though these students are classified as high achieving students and are economically disadvantaged, because the Smart Indonesia Program can only be obtained by those whose names are recorded as students receiving the Program.

Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) Community legal awareness regarding waste management in Patampanua Village, with indicators (a) knowledge of the law, (b) understanding of the law, (c) views on the law and (d) actions towards the law. (2) the role of the village head in forming community legal awareness of waste management in Patampanua Village. This research is a qualitative survey research, the types of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were obtained by observation, interviews and documentation. The focus of this research is community legal awareness and the role of the village head regarding waste management in Patampanua Village. The research results show (1) Community legal awareness in Patampanua village regarding waste management is still low. In the first indicator, people show a desire for the rule of law, but in the second indicator, their knowledge of these rules is very minimal. The third indicator highlights that the public's view of laws related to waste management is also limited. Furthermore, in the fourth indicator, community action against the law shows a tendency to dispose of waste not in accordance with applicable regulations. (2) Patampanua Village faces challenges in waste management. Even though the village head has carried out outreach, there is an assessment that these efforts are not yet fully relevant. Legal regulations regarding waste management are still lacking, and although there have been positive steps such as providing rubbish bins and the presence of daily officers, information regarding waste management is not yet provided to the public.

Abstract

Budaya Santri dalam Menerapkan Nilai-Nilai Persatuan dipondok Pesantren Assalam Timbuseng” Skripsi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan Universitas Negeri Makassar. Dibimbing oleh Muh Sudirman selaku Pembimbing I dan Imam Suyitno selaku pembimbing II. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) penerapan nilai-nilai persatuan dipondok pesantren assalam timbuseng. 2) kendala santri dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai persatuan. 3) Upaya santri mengatasi kendala yang di alami dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai persatuan dipondok pesantren assalam timbuseng. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber data terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder dalam rangka mencapai tjuan tersebut, maka peneliti menggunakan Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang diperoleh dari hasil reduksi kata, penyajian data kemudian penarikan Kesimpulan. Sumber informan peneliti adalah Pembina, guru, dan santri pondok pesantren assalam timbuseng. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1. Penerapan nilai-nilai persatuan dipondok pesantren assalam timbuseng dilakukan dengan ranah Pendidikan baik formal maupun non-formal dan melalui kegiatan-kegiatan yang membentuk stivitas santri. 2. Kendala santri dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai persatuan terdapat pada diri sendiri dan di asrama, karena kurangnya intensif dan juga pengaruh dari orang lain. 3. Upaya santri dalam mengatasi kendala yang dialami dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai persatuan yaitu dengan membimbing, menuntun dan mengajak santri dalam perkembangannya dengan memberikan jalan lingkungan dan arahan sesuai dengan tujuan Pendidikan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan literasi dan etika digital bagi masyarakat agar mampu menggunakan teknologi secara bertanggung jawab pada era Society 5.0. Program pelatihan dirancang untuk membantu peserta memahami risiko, peluang, serta tata cara mengelola aktivitas digital secara aman. Pelatihan dilakukan melalui asesmen awal, workshop interaktif, praktik simulatif, dan pendampingan lanjutan. Hasil awal menunjukkan bahwa sebagian peserta belum memahami keamanan akun digital, pengelolaan privasi, serta cara mengidentifikasi informasi kredibel. Kondisi tersebut dipetakan melalui pre-test yang menjadi acuan dalam pemberian materi pelatihan. Selama kegiatan berlangsung peserta mengikuti sesi pemaparan konsep literasi digital, praktik mengatur keamanan akun, serta menganalisis keaslian informasi sebelum membagikan kembali kepada orang lain. Hasil post-test memperlihatkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta terutama dalam mengenali fitur keamanan digital, menghindari penyebaran informasi meragukan, serta menyusun unggahan berbasis etika bahasa. Pendampingan pascapelatihan membantu peserta menerapkan keterampilan yang diperoleh dalam aktivitas digital harian. Program ini menggambarkan adanya perubahan perilaku digital peserta dari sekadar sebagai pengguna teknologi menjadi individu yang lebih selektif, reflektif, dan bertanggung jawab dalam berinteraksi di ruang digital. Pelatihan memberikan manfaat dalam penguatan literasi digital melalui pembelajaran terstruktur serta pengalaman praktik langsung sehingga peserta mampu memanfaatkan teknologi secara aman dan etis.

Abstract

Developing superior human resources through higher education is crucial for national progress. However, interest in pursuing higher education in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), particularly Central Lombok, remains a challenge that requires empirical study. This study aims to examine the impact of social support on interest in pursuing higher education, as well as the mediating role of self-efficacy in this relationship. This quantitative study, using a survey approach, involved 100 active university students in Central Lombok Regency as a sample, selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results showed that social support had a positive and significant effect on interest in pursuing higher education and self-efficacy. A key finding was that self-efficacy fully mediated the effect of social support on interest in pursuing higher education (R2 = 60.9%). Theoretically, this indicates that social support must first be internalized into self-efficacy to effectively increase interest. Policy implications highlight the importance of intervention programs that not only provide social support, but also strategically focus on strengthening individual self-efficacy to encourage higher education participation in the region.

Abstract

Tong-Tong Sèrèk is one of the traditional performances of the Madurese people, rich in social values, community solidarity, and expressions of folk culture. This article aims to examine the Tong-Tong Sèrèk performance as a reflection of culture and a symbol of resistance against social changes that erode traditional values, using Richard Hoggart's critical cultural approach. This research was conducted using a qualitative-descriptive method through field observations, in-depth interviews, and literature reviews. The findings reveal that Tong-Tong Sèrèk serves not only as entertainment but also represents the spirit of collectivity, hard work, and the local identity of the Madurese community, which has been marginalised by dominant culture and the tide of modernisation. From Hoggart's perspective, this performance can be interpreted as a form of cultural expression by the people that preserves authentic values amid the expansion of mass culture. This study underscores the importance of preserving local traditions as a form of symbolic resistance and strengthening the cultural identity of communities increasingly threatened by the homogenisation of modern culture.

Abstract

The urgency of this research arises from the growing indications of a “lost generation” among Indonesian adolescents, characterized by moral degradation, weakened spiritual awareness, diminished social empathy, and identity confusion amid rapid digital and socio-cultural change. This study aims to analyze the role of implementing Pancasila values, particularly Belief in One Almighty God (Principle 1) and Just and Civilized Humanity (Principle 2), in addressing the lost generation phenomenon among students at a public senior high school in South Sulawesi Province. This descriptive qualitative study employed classroom and school-wide observations, in-depth interviews with the Principal, PPKn teachers, guidance and counseling (BK) teachers, and students, as well as document analysis; the data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification, supported by triangulation to ensure validity. The findings show that Principle 1 functions as the primary moral foundation and is operationalized through the integration of Pancasila values in the PPKn curriculum, religious education and activities, contextual gratitude projects (such as environmental and social-care initiatives), and school policies that guarantee religious freedom and tolerance. Principle 2 is realized through the systematic cultivation of universal moral values—honesty, responsibility, respect, and empathy—embedded in habituation programs (honesty journals, cooperative learning), strengthened by peaceful conflict-management strategies (peer mediation) and a zero-tolerance anti-bullying procedure. These integrated practices collectively help mitigate symptoms associated with a lost generation by reinforcing students’ sense of life meaning, spiritual consciousness, and humane, responsible self-identity. The novelty of this research lies in proposing an integrated school-based model that links spiritual formation and humanitarian ethics within a Pancasila framework specifically to the prevention of a lost generation. This study contributes conceptually to the refinement of Pancasila-based democratic citizenship education and practically to the design of value-based interventions for school leaders, PPKn teachers, and counselors in similar educational contexts.

Abstract

This paper aims at explaining the implementation of RAWAC (Reading and Writing across Curriculum) in teaching essay for college students. Using an action research based integrated with hermeneutic technique, this study was conducted in Kelompok Belajar Mahasiswa (Student Study Club) at Ganesha University of Education, Bali. The result of the study indicates that this model is able to synchronize the excellent aspects of reading-writing and metacognition as those give benefits to the students in terms of strengthening their critical thinking in exploring ideas, their discipline attitude during the process of planning, monitoring, and evaluating concepts, and also strengthening the students’ self-regulated learning in writing essay. Implementing RAWAC improve the students’ ability in writing essays, especially in exploring ideas, organizing the writing, choosing the diction and enhancing their writing technique.

Abstract

There has been research on learning interaction, there is still a gap in understanding how communication patterns, pedagogical strategies, and student responses in Indonesian language learning. Based on this, this study aims to analyze interaction patterns, teacher strategies in managing interactions, and student responses to methods in learning. This research used a classroom ethnography approach. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis at three state junior high schools (SMPN) in Lumajang. This research ensures data validity through triangulation of techniques and sources. This research analyzes data interactively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion making. The research findings show that there are four categories of interaction patterns in Indonesian language learning, namely task-oriented interaction, discussion-based interaction, evaluation-based interaction, and post-evaluation reflective interaction. Teachers' pedagogical strategies-such as building emotional closeness, utilizing learning technology, and applying differentiation and scaffolding-are proven to be able to increase students' involvement in the learning process. In addition, students showed positive responses to interactive activities, peer evaluation and learning reflection. The findings of this study confirm the importance of developing teachers' pedagogical competence and innovating learning strategies to create a more interactive, participatory and inclusive learning environment in the context of Indonesian language learning in junior secondary schools.

Abstract

Kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) pada siswa sekolah dasar menjadi kompetensi krusial pada lingkup pendidikan. Hal ini dikarenakan sejumlah kegiatan pembelajaran pada tingkat sekolah dasar belum menyediakan wadah untuk siswa berpikir kritis, analitis, dan kreatif siswa. Kondisi tersebut membuktikan bahwa perkembangan HOTS tidak sebatas dipengaruhi oleh materi dan metode pembelajaran, namun turut didorong oleh kompetensi guru dalam memahami wawasan yang akan diajarkannya pada siswa di kelas. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengkaji peran guru dalam membangun HOTS siswa sekolah dasar, implementasi pendekatan epistemologi dalam pendidikan dasar, dan integrasi epistemologi dalam pengembangan HOTS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) yang merujuk pada kerangka Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviewers and Meta Analyses (PRISMA). Terpilih sebanyak 8 artikel yang revelan dengan topik peran guru, epistemologi pembelajaran, dan HOTS. Kedelapan artikel tersebut dianalisis dengan mengidentifikasi tema berdasarkan pada indikator posisi siswa dalam proses belajar, orientasi guru terhadap sifat pengetahuan, serta bentuk interaksi pembelajaran yang menekankan dialog, refleksi, dan penalaran kritis.  Hasilnya, menunjukkan tiga tema utama yaitu: (1) guru berperan dalam membangun HOTS melalui strategi pembelajaran yang menekankan proses berpikir siswa; (2) implementasi pendekatan epistemologi sebagai dasar pengembangan HOTS di sekolah dasar melalui interpretasi  guru dalam memberikan pandangan terhadap pengetahuan sebagai sesuatu yang berhasil dibentuk dengan akal budi dan pengalaman belajar siswa; dan (3) integrasi epistemologi dalam variasi pendekatan pembelajaran melalui penerapan model inkuiri, diskusi pembelajaran yang dibantu oleh teknologi, serta interaksi belajar yang mendukung siswa untuk mempertanyakan, menilai, dan membentuk pengetahuan secara giat.
