Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kreativitas peserta didik melalui kegiatan menghias totebag dengan teknik ekoprint di SDN 274/VI Muara Delang II. Teknik ekoprint merupakan metode seni ramah lingkungan yang menggunakan bahan alami seperti daun dan bunga untuk mencetak pola pada kain. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi untuk memahami pengalaman subjektif peserta didik selama mengikuti kegiatan. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi karya peserta didik. Melalui Observasi ini mengamati secara langsung keterlibatan peserta didik selama proses menghias totebag dengan teknik ekoprint. Selanjutnya melalui wawancara peserta didik yang terlibat, guru/ orang tua sebagai pendukung kegiatan. Serta dokumentasi karya ini merekam hasil karya peserta didik untuk dianalisis dari aspek kreativitas dan estetika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini secara signifikan meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik berdasarkan lima indikator: rasa ingin tahu, kepercayaan diri, keberanian mengungkapkan pendapat, ketekunan, dan daya imajinasi. Peserta didik terlibat aktif dalam setiap tahap kegiatan, mulai dari pengenalan konsep, eksplorasi bahan, hingga refleksi atas hasil karya mereka. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga memperkuat kesadaran peserta didik terhadap pentingnya menjaga lingkungan melalui pemanfaatan bahan alami. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek, penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa kegiatan seni praktis seperti ekoprint dapat menjadi sarana efektif untuk mengembangkan kreativitas, keterampilan, dan karakter peserta didik yang relevan dengan tantangan abad ke-21.

Abstract

This research was conducted by looking at the educational situation, especially elementary schools because of the lack of teaching variation in the use of digital learning media. The lack of variety in learning media makes students less enthusiastic about participating in learning activities. For this reason, media is needed so that students can see, hear, and read, one of which is comics. The research aims to develop e-comic media containing ethnomathematics, Gental Arasy, and Jambi Province to increase mathematical literacy, foster a spirit of love for the country, and increase student motivation in learning. The development of digital comic research uses Research and Development as well as the 4D development model. The subjects in this research consisted of class V teachers at SDN 214/IV Jambi City and class V students at SDN 214/IV Jambi City. The effectiveness test of e-comic media was analysed using the t-test and N-Gain based on data obtained through motivation questionnaires and creative thinking ability tests given to 12 class V students of SD 214/V Jambi City. The type of data collection carried out is by conducting observations, interviews and questionnaires. The data was analysed using qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The research results showed that the average expert validity test score was 88%, so it was included in the very valid criteria and product trials on students were 95% in the very good category. Thus, the results of the research concluded that the Gental Arasy Jambi-based comic EDC learning media can increase mathematical literacy in learning.

Abstract

Berisi ringkasan singkat penelitian, yang terdiri dari tujuan, metode, subyek/responden, alat pengumpul data, teknik analisis data, serta hasil penelitian. Jumlah maksimum 300 kata, ditulis menggunakan tipe huruf cambria ukuran 10, serta ditulis menggunakan spasi tunggal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah yaitu mendeskripsikan proses pembinaan karakter kewirausahaan peserta didik melalui program market day di SD Negeri 131/IV Kota Jambi. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif jenis studi kasus, dengan melakukan wawancara dan observasi secara langsung kepada peserta didik. Berdasarkan data tersebut, peneliti menemukan bagaimana potensi siswa dalam mengembangkan karakter kewirausahaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan problematika dalam pembelajaran muatan lokal Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup (PLH) di kelas VA SDN 059/IV Jambi serta mengidentifikasi upaya guru dalam mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan subjek penelitian terdiri dari wali kelas dan siswa kelas VA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa kendala utama dalam pembelajaran pembelajaran pendidikan lingkungan hidup, yaitu keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran yang hanya satu jam pelajaran per minggu, minimnya sumber daya pembelajaran yang relevan, serta pendekatan pengajaran yang kurang variatif. Hambatan lain termasuk implementasi kurikulum KTSP 2006 yang tidak lagi sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Meski demikian, guru berupaya mengatasi tantangan tersebut dengan memanfaatkan bahan ajar tambahan seperti video pembelajaran, melibatkan siswa dalam praktik misalnya eperti menanam tanaman obat, dan memberikan penjelasan yang kontekstual sesuai kebutuhan siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun terdapat hambatan, kreativitas dan fleksibilitas guru memungkinkan pembelajaran PLH tetap berjalan dengan baik. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini meliputi pembaruan kurikulum, penyediaan media pembelajaran yang lebih relevan, serta peningkatan keterlibatan orang tua dan masyarakat dalam mendukung pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low activity of class III students at SDN 83/1 Bajubang. This research is a Classroom Action Research which aims to describe the increase in student activity through the application of the Discovery Learning model with the MIKiR approach to Indonesian content in class III. This research was conducted at SDN 83/I Bajubang. Research data obtained by means of observation, interviews and also documentation. The data in this study were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the study show that applying the discovery learning model with the MIKiR approach to the learning process can increase student activity. This increase can be seen in the data analysis of each meeting cycle. Cycle I meetings I and II were 42.85%, cycle II meeting I was 66.66%, cycle II meeting II was 80% which increased by 13.34%. In this case it is concluded that the use of the discovery learning model with the MIKiR approach can increase the activity of students in Indonesian language content in class III SDN 83/1 Bajubang. Proven by the success of this research. The activeness of students can be increased by the discovery learning model with the MIKiR approach.

Abstract

Beef is one of the Indonesian favorite foods and provides protein needed for human body’s health and growth. Rumah Pemotongan Hewan (RPH) Jambi is a slaughtering house that provides and distributes beef to traditional markets throughout Jambi City. Therefore, it is very essential to assure safetyof every piece of beef produced by the RPH. This research was undertaken in Biology UP-MIPA Laboratory, University of Jambi, from December 2009 to January 2010. The beef samples were collected from the Jambi RPH. This research employs the Most Probable Number (MPN) method, by observing the growth of Escherichia coli on Endo Agar media, starting from presumptive test until confirmative test. The experiment used 5-5-5 series reaction tubes, including the Durham fermentation tube. The results show that beef produced by the JAMBI RPH is 100% safe to be consumed. The number of Escherichia coli in the fresh beef is still below the maximum threshold level, which is 5 X 101MPN/100 ml

Abstract

Pembelajaran jarak jauh di Indonesia dimulai sejak April 2020 sebagai respons terhadap pandemi COVID-19, memaksa lembaga pendidikan untuk beradaptasi dengan teknologi untuk menjaga proses belajar-mengajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode fenomenologi untuk memahami pengalaman guru dalam menerapkan Quizizz. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan fokus pada pemahaman, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi penggunaan Quizizz dalam penilaian daring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Quizizz di SDIT Asy-Syifa telah dilaksanakan dengan efektif. Guru memahami dan memanfaatkan aplikasi ini dengan baik, mulai dari pembuatan akun, penyusunan soal, hingga pelaksanaan ujian dan evaluasi hasil. Quizizz terbukti meningkatkan interaktivitas dan transparansi penilaian, serta memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan bagi siswa. Meski menghadapi tantangan seperti masalah sinyal, guru berhasil menemukan solusi praktis dan berencana untuk mengembangkan jenis soal lebih lanjut. Inisiatif ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas penilaian pengetahuan berbasis daring tetapi juga dapat dijadikan model bagi lembaga pendidikan lainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Probing-Prompting learning model in improving the critical thinking skills of fourth grade students in learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS). The Probing-Prompting model is a method that is oriented towards exploring concepts through questions directed to students, which aims to stimulate their thinking power to be more analytical and reflective. The research method used in this study is classroom action research (PTK), which was carried out in two cycles with the research subjects of grade IV students of SDN 139/1 Sungai Buluh. The research data was collected through observation, interviews, and learning outcome tests to assess the development of students' critical thinking before and after the application of this learning model. The results showed that the application of the Probing-Prompting model can significantly improve students' critical thinking skills as shown through several indicators, including simple explanation, basic skill building, ability to conclude, and providing further explanation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the challenges faced by teachers in teaching Natural Sciences (IPA) within the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka at the elementary school level. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The subject of this study was a classroom teacher at SDN 112/I Perumnas who had applied the Kurikulum Merdeka in her teaching practice. The findings revealed seven key themes: limited availability of learning media, time and logistical constraints, teacher creativity in overcoming resource limitations, varied teaching methods, application of Problem-Based Learning and Project-Based Learning approaches, the adequacy yet suboptimal use of learning facilities, and the gradual adaptation process to the new curriculum. These findings indicate that while teachers have made efforts to implement active and contextual learning, significant challenges remain, both technical and systemic. Therefore, continuous support is needed in the form of training, provision of instructional media, and policies that promote teacher flexibility and creativity in effectively implementing the curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the obstacles faced by teachers in utilizing the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) at SDN 187/I Teratai. With the introduction of the independent curriculum, it is important to understand the challenges faced by teachers in implementing this educational technology. This study is expected to provide insight for schools and the government in formulating more effective strategies to support teachers in the learning process. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and observations of grade I to VI teachers and the principal. Researchers conducted data analysis using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research participants consisted of teachers who were directly involved in the use of PMM, so that the data obtained could provide a comprehensive picture of the existing obstacles. The results of the study showed that there were several significant obstacles faced by teachers, including limited technological competence, lack of understanding of PMM features, and time constraints in implementing educational administration. In addition, teacher motivation and acceptance of the use of PMM are also important factors that influence the effectiveness of the use of this platform. The conclusion of this study confirms that to improve the quality of learning at SDN 187/I Teratai, collaborative efforts are needed between teachers, principals, and other related parties to overcome these obstacles.
