Abstract

Acne vulgaris is a skin health problem. Citronella oil contains citronellal, geraniol, geranial, β-citronellol, and neral, which have antibacterial properties. Meanwhile, red ginger oil contains gingerol, which has anti-inflammatory properties. These two ingredients are suitable for treating acne vulgaris. The aim of this study are to develop microemulsion formulation combination of citronella and red ginger essential oil. In this experimental study, a microemulsion combination of citronella essential oil and red ginger essential oil was made using Tween 80 as a surfactant and Transcutol® as a co-surfactant, with variations of S-mix (surfactant:cosurfactant) of 3:3, 4:2, and 4.5:1.5 ratios. As an oil carrier, isopropyl myristate is used. The microemulsions are formulated using a titration method. The microemulsion was then tested for characteristics and stability. The results show that the most optimal microemulsion formula was obtained with an S-mix ratio of 4:2 with a globule size of 21.64 nm, a Polydispersion Index of 0.15, and a zeta potential of -3.82. Its pH and viscosity meet the required specifications and are stable.

Abstract

Solid goat’s milk soap is organic and beneficial for the health and appearance of the skin. One of the components in green tea known to display antibacterial activities is epigallocatechin gallate (ECGC). In this study, the effects of solid goat’s milk soap containing 1%, 2%, and 4% green tea extract on the growth of Propionibacterium acnes, Staphylococcus aureus, and Staphylococcus epidermidis were examined. The soap was characterized for its organoleptic, pH, free fatty acid, alkalinity, water content, foam stability, and hardness. In addition, an in vitro antimicrobial test was performed utilising the well-diffusion method. The findings revealed that all the soap formulas matched the SNI 3533-2016 standards for water content, free fatty acid content, and free alkali content, and that they also had similar pH, foam stability, and hardness. The solid goat’s milk soap showed antibacterial activities against Propionibacterium acnes, Staphylococcus aureus, and Staphylococcus epidermidis, but the effect of the green tea extract on the soap did not increase these.

Abstract

Mahabbah merupakan pangkal semua tingkatan (maqam) spiritual dan segenap keadaan jiwa (ahwal). Selainnya adalah keinginan, kerinduan, rasa takut, dan rela. Salah satu fenomena sosial sehingga dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah tingkat bunuh diri yang semakin bertambah karena krisis spiritual dan kurangnya pemahaman terhadap cinta kepada Allah (mahabbah ilahiyah). Artikel ini menggunakan metode maudhu’i dengan menggunakan pendekatan multidisipliner, yakni pendekatan historis untuk mengetahui peristiwa dan kondisi Nabi saat menyampaikan hadis, pendekatan filosofis untuk menyingkap hakikat makna hadis-hadis yang terkait, serta pendekatan sufistik untuk menggali pandangan tasawuf mengenai mahabbah ilahiyah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mencintai Allah dan Rasul-Nya, mencintai seseorang karena Allah, serti benci kepada kekufuran maka akan didapatkan manisnya iman. Tiga hal tersebut merupakan konsep mahabbah ilahiyah yang menjadikan Allah sebagai tujuan hidup yang diikuti dengan dengan ketaqwaan. Mahabbah ilahiyah ada dalam ranah pribadi seseorang jika ia mencintai Allah dengan membersihkan hati dan perbuatannya. Sedangkan dalam ranah sosial, seseorang yang mencintai Allah akan berbuat baik kepada sesame yang dibuktikan dengan sikap sosialnya yang baik dalam berinteraksi.[Actualization of The Sweet Hadith of Faith in The Concept of Mahabbah Ilahiah. Mahabbah is the base of all spiritual levels (maqam) and all states of the soul (ahwal). Apart from that are desire, longing, fear, and willingness. One of the social phenomena that led to this research is the increasing suicide rate due to the spiritual crisis and lack of understanding of love for Allah (mahabbah ilahiyya). This article uses the maudhu'i method using a multidisciplinary approach, namely a historical approach to find out the events and conditions of the Prophet when he delivered hadith, a philosophical approach to reveal the nature of the meanings of the related traditions, and a Sufistic approach to explore Sufism's views on the divine mahabbah. The results of this study indicate that loving Allah and His Messenger, loving someone for the sake of Allah, as well as hating kufr, will get the sweetness of faith. These three things are the concept of the divine mahabbah which makes God the goal of life followed by piety. The divine mahabbah is in a person's personal realm if he loves Allah by purifying his heart and actions. Whereas in the social realm, someone who loves Allah will do good to others as evidenced by his good social attitude in interacting.]

Abstract

The research was motivated by the problem of learning Arabic which tends to be monotonous, thus affecting learning motivation and students' ability to remember vocabulary (mufradat). The aim of this research is to identify the effect of using educational game media based on the Educandy application on increasing the mastery of mufradat for class V students at MIN 2 Surabaya City. The research uses quantitative methods with a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent group design model. The VC class as an experimental group uses educational game media, while the VA class as a control group uses conventional methods. Multiple choice tests were applied to the pretest and posttest to measure the increase in mufradat mastery. Data analysis was carried out through validity, reliability, descriptive statistics, normality, homogeneity and t-test tests. The research results showed that the average pretest score in the experimental class was 47.75, while in the control class it was 44.25. In the posttest, the average of the experimental class increased to 71.00, while the control class became 61.63. The t-test proved a significant difference between the two classes, showing that the use of educational game media had a significant effect in increasing students' mastery of mufradat.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this thesis is to find out what strategies are appropriate for improving employee performance, while the benefit of this writing is to enrich the knowledge of human resource management for improving performance, especially in Pejagoan District, Kebumen Regency. Apart from that, as input material to find out the extent of success achieved in an effort to provide services to the community as a means of comparing knowledge and enriching information regarding improving employee performance in other research. The method used is a qualitative method. The data sources used are primary and secondary data, while the techniques used in data collection are documentation, interviews and observation. Based on the results of research, efforts have been made to improve employee performance in Pejagoan District by increasing human resources, both quality and quantity, in Pejagoan District. Improving facilities and infrastructure, both office equipment and office buildings. Implementing a reward and punish system for employees to more effectively carry out their respective main duties and functions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of lecturer certification allowances and workload on performance with organizational commitment as an intervening variable. This research was conducted at the Yogyakarta Institute of Technology with 32 respondents who already have educator certificates or have been certified. The type of research is quantitative with Smart Part Least Square (PLS) analysis tool version 4.0.9.6. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the direct effect of lecturer certification allowances does not have a positive and significant effect on lecturer performance. Workload has a positive and significant effect on lecturer performance. Lecturer certification allowances have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Workload positively and significantly affects organizational commitment. Organizational commitment has no effect on performance. Furthermore, for indirect influences, it shows that organizational commitment is unable to interven the relationship between lecturer certification allowances and performance. Organizational commitment is not able to interven the relationship between workload and lecturer performance at the Yogyakarta Institute of Technology.

Abstract

Abstract This research is based on the problem of a work environment that is not conducive due to hot air temperatures and an unfavorable working atmosphere and there are unfavorable attitudes and ethics of some employees which affect the level of employee job satisfaction. The purpose of this research is to explain the effect of work environment and organizational culture on employee job satisfaction and to show the most influential variables on employee job satisfaction at PT Busana Remaja Agracipta Yogyakata. In this study the sample was calculated using the Slovin formula. The sample in this study were employees of PT Busana Remaja Agracipta Yogyakarta with a total of 50 respondents. The analytical method uses multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS version 22 program. This research uses quantitative methods. The results showed that the work environment has an effect on employee job satisfaction, organizational culture has no effect on employee job satisfaction, and simultaneously work environment and organizational culture have an effect on employee job satisfaction at PT Busana Remaja Agracipta Yogyakarta. The results showed that the most dominant variable that influences job satisfaction is the work environment. Analysis of the coefficient of determination obtained is 0.461 which means the work environment and organizational culture have a significant effect on job satisfaction by 46.1 percent. While the remaining 53.9 percent is influenced by other variables not examined.

Abstract

Work stress is a condition of tension experienced by employees in the face of work and creates a physical / psychological imbalance, and affects the emotions, thought processes and conditions of an employee which can cause harm to individuals and related organizations. Procrastination is a delay of a few moments before the deadline or a long-term delay to exceed the deadline so that it interferes with performance within a limited time span by replacing activities that are not so important. Job satisfaction refers to an individual's general attitude towards his or her job. Job satisfaction is the result of employees' perceptions of the extent to which their work can provide such an emotional state. This study aims to empirically examine the effect of job stress on work procrastination with job satisfaction as an intervening variable in members of Brimob Battalion B Pelopor, Sentolo, Kulon Progo. This research was conducted at Mako Brimob Battalion B Pelopor, Sentolo, Kulon Progo. The sample used amounted to 50 people. The method in this study uses quantitative methods. Data collection methods using interviews and questionnaires. The analysis method used is Partial Least Square (PLS) which uses the results of the outer model and inner model tests. Based on the results of the study, the following findings were obtained: work stress has a positive and significant effect on work procrastination, work stress has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a positive and insignificant effect on work procrastination, work stress has an insignificant effect and a direct effect on work procrastination with job satisfaction.

Abstract

Education always develops following the dynamics of people's lives, Islamic education is faced with big challenges after the industrial revolution 4.0 era, then "is surprised by the emergence of the era of society 5.0 where at this time there appears a "learning society" and a society with knowledge (knowledge). society). This qualitative study aims to find out how to actualize Sufism and the future of modern Islamic education in the era of society 5.0. The world of education takes a large part of the teachings of Islamic Sufism because Sufism teaches respect for fellow creatures of God without discriminating against a background, leading people to be tolerant and upholding peace. With data collection methods, namely observation, and interviews. The results of the research information that Islamic education will form Insan Kamil, which has a close relationship with the essence of modern Sufism, namely with the creation of life, and simplicity (zuhud) from within a modern Sufism, which is based on the principle of monotheism, so that it can realize an attitude of piety, which later will maintain good relations with God, fellow humans, the universe or the surrounding environment. From the results of the research that has been submitted, it is hoped that in modern conditions and the era of society 5.0, the practice of Sufi is very necessary, but the meaning is not as narrow as what has been understood, meaning Sufi does not mean isolating oneself from communication in the mass media. People with different beliefs, different languages, cultures, and ethnicities, are still human beings who must be respected, appreciated, and accepted for their existence.

Abstract

Keberagaman karakteristik dan pola pikir dalam lingkungan pekerjaan yang terdiri dari berbagai generasi menjadi tantangan bagi generasi Z di beberapa implikasi terhadap sumber daya manusia dalam organisasi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menyoroti gaya hidup (fleksibilitas kerja dan kompensasi) generasi Z terhadap pemilihan pekerjaan. Selain itu, penelitian ini menyajikan intisari hasil berdasarkan kuisioner yang ditunjukan kepada generasi Z di DI Yongyakarta sebanyak 60 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan membagikan kuisioner. Teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 25 dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa gaya hidup fleksibilitas kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap generasi Z dalam pemilihan pekerjaan, kompensasi berpengaruh terhadap generasi Z dalam pemilihan pekerjaan, serta secara simultan fleksibilitas dan kompensasi berpengaruh terhadap generasi Z dalam pemilihan pekerjaann di DI Yogyakarta. Hasil analisis juga menunjukan dari gaya hidup yang realistis yaitu kompensasi merupakan gaya hidup yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi generasi Z dalam pemilihan pekerjaan. Analisis koefisien determinasi yang diperoleh sebesar 0,248 atau 24.8%. Dapat diartikan bahwa sebesar 24.8% pemilihan kerja oleh generasi Z dipengaruhi oleh variabel fleksibilitas kerja dan kompensasi. Sedangkan sisanya 75.2% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.
