Abstract

This study aims to develop a geometry module based on ethnomathematics with a scientific approach, test the module's validity and feasibility, and determine the effect of using modules in learning on students' metacognitive abilities. This study uses a research and development (R&D) approach with a 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The research subjects were students of 8rd Junior High School in Malang. Data analysis of the effect of the use of modules on metacognition abilities using the paired sample t-test. The research results showed the ethnomathematics based geomery module with a scientific approach is valid, developed by with a 4D model. The module is also categorized as effective for use in learning activities. The ethnomathematics based geometry modules with a scientific approach has an effect on metacognition abilities.

Abstract

This research is development research that aims to develop an assessment based on the Quizizz application to measure the reasoning ability of junior high school students' flat wake material. The research subjects were 60 junior high school students. Data sources were obtained from the results of the test and student response questionnaires. The steps for adopting test development using the Djemari Mardapi stage with the following steps: compiling test specifications, writing tests, reviewing tests, conducting test trials, analyzing test items, refining tests, assembling tests, administering tests, and interpreting test results. The results showed that the Quiziz application-based assessment was valid, reliable, practical, and effective. The test has a characteristic difficulty level, namely two easy category questions and eight medium category questions, and the distinguishing power of 8 very good questions and two good questions. The reasoning ability of students' flat shapes, as measured by an assessment based on the Quizizz application, has an average of 67.83, with a fairly good category.

Abstract

In modern Industrial Technology 5.0, educators are challenged to develop the ability to create learning media for use with technology support. Comics are very popular among teenagers, including high school students. One type of comic is digital comics, which was once a global trend that served as an effective learning medium. This type of research is research and development (R & D) using 3D research methods (definition, design, development). In this study, researchers were limited to the definition stage. The equipment used in this study was a questionnaire to analyze the needs of Class X teachers and students and nine math teachers in MAN2 Malang. Based on the results of the survey conducted, it can be concluded that students need digital comic learning media based on Islamic values ​​of inverse functional materials. Abstract

The 2013 curriculum prioritizes 21st century skills, where students are able to be creative and innovate, think critically and problem solving, collaborate, communicate, and literacy skills are also prerequisites for 21st century life skills. The purpose of this study was to develop an AKM test based on Javanese cultural context to measure numeracy literacy skills in high school students' statistical material. This research uses research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The type of development in this research is instrument development. The instrument developed is in the form of developing an AKM test instrument based on Javanese culture with the level of the kromo inggil language. Abstract

YouTube platform video-sharing sebagai sumber belajar pada semua mata pelajaran yang sesuai topik yang dicari. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara mengeksplorasi kanal Youtube sebagai sumber belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika materi trigonometri di kelas X SMA. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket eksplorasi materi trigonometri dengan skala likert. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh siswa di SMA dengan jumlah 500, dengan kelas X sebagai sampel menggunakan metode slovin yaitu 80 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket yang dibagikan kepada siswa dengan google form menggunakan fitur survey. Instrumen yang dikembangkan telah divalidasi dan diuji tingkat reliabilitasnya oleh 2 dosen dan 2 praktisi menggunakan uji Q-Cochran baik dari segi muka dan isi. Hasil skor uji test untuk validasi pada statistik Asym.sig menunjukkan nilai sebesar 0.417, dan skor 0.724 untuk tingkat reliabel dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengeksplorasi kanal Youtube sebagai sumber belajar siswa pada trigonometri.  Hasil angket pada penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 81,65 % menggunakan kanal youtube sebagai sumber belajar tambahan untuk menyelesaikan tugas pada materi trigonometri dengan kategori sangat positif.YouTube is a video-sharing platform as a learning resource in all subjects that match the topics you are looking for. This study aimed to discover how to explore the YouTube channel as a learning resource for students in trigonometry in class X SMA. In this type of quantitative descriptive research, the instrument used is an exploratory questionnaire on trigonometry material with a Likert scale. The population used was all high school students with a total of 500, with class X as the sample using the Slovin method, namely 80 people. The data collection technique used is in the form of a questionnaire which is distributed to students with a Google Form using the survey feature. The developed instrument has been validated and tested for its reliability level by two lecturers and two practitioners using the Q-Cochran test in terms of face and content. The results of the test scores for validation on the Asym.sig statistics show a value of 0.417 and a score of 0.724 for a reliable level with a very high category. The results of this study explore the Youtube channel as a source of student learning in trigonometry. The questionnaire results in the study showed that 81.65% used the YouTube channel as an additional learning resource to complete assignments on trigonometry material in a very positive category.

Abstract

Numerasi merupakan kemampuan untuk menerapkan pengetahuan matematika di berbagai konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Numerasi menjadi salah satu kemampuan dasar yang harus dimiliki seorang individu di abad 21. Namun faktanya, numerasi siswa Indonesia masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata skor matematika siswa Indonesia pada PISA yang berada dibawah rata-rata skor dunia. Numerasi dapat ditingkatkan melalui bahan belajar yang mendukung perkembangan numerasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan aplikasi modul dan evaluasi mandiri berorientasi numerasi yang valid, efektif, dan praktis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang dilakukan dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Tahap implementasi dilakukan terhadap 30 orang siswa kelas XI MAS Al-Asy’ariyah, Medan Krio. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi modul dan evaluasi mandiri berorientasi numerasi valid, efektif, dan praktis. Peningkatan numerasi siswa tergolong tinggi dengan nilai n-gain sebesar 0,804 pada skala 0-1. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan rata-rata skor pretest-posttest siswa dari 54 menjadi 91 pada skala 0-100.Numeracy is the ability to apply mathematical knowledge in various contexts of daily life. Numeracy is one of the basic abilities that an individual must have in the 21st century. But in fact, the numeration of Indonesian students is still relatively low. This can be seen from the average score of Indonesian students' mathematics on PISA which is below the world average score. Numeracy can be improved through learning materials that support the development of numeracy. This study aims to produce valid, effective, and practical numeration-oriented application of module and self-evaluation. This research is a development research conducted using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The implementation phase was carried out on 30 students of class XI MAS Al-Asy'ariyah, Medan Krio. The results of the development show that the numeration-oriented application of module and self-evaluation is valid, effective, and practical. The increase in student numeration is high with an n-gain value of 0.804 on a scale of 0-1. This can be seen from the increase in the average pretest-posttest scores of students from 54 to 91 on a scale of 0-100.

Abstract

Abstract. Assessment is an important part of the learning process. However, assessment is often carried out subjectively by the examiner, especially in essay tests. The scoring rubric is one of the solutions to minimize the subjectivity of the assessment to produce more objective and consistent grades. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an essay test assessment rubric. This study aims to produce a rubric for evaluating essay tests for mathematical problem-solving abilities based on Polya's theory. The method for developing an assessment rubric uses the Plomp model which consists of three phases, namely the initial research phase, the prototype phase, and the assessment phase. The results of the validity test by experts obtained a score of 3.40 on a scale of 1-4. The rubric of the validation results was then implicated in the assessment of the essay test given to 30 junior high school students. The implication of the rubric is as well as an empirical test of the effectiveness of the rubric. The empirical test results using three groups of raters obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.9290. Based on the results of validity tests and empirical tests, it can be concluded that the rubric for assessing essay tests for mathematical problem-solving abilities based on Polya theory is valid and feasible.Keywords: Mathematical Problem Solving, Polya, Rubric Assesment, Essay Test.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mathematics teacher's perception and its effect on literacy numeracy in high school. This research is descriptive qualitative. The population in this study were high school mathematics teachers. The sampling technique used is total sampling. A total of 30 teachers were sample correspondents spread across several high schools in Malang City. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire consisting of multiple choice, complex multiple-choice, and questions with yes or no answers, which aim to determine the mathematics teachers’ perception of literacy numeracy and its effect on learning in high school. Techniques for presenting data in descriptive statistics include tables and percentage calculations. The study’s results on the perception of mathematics teachers on literacy numeracy in high school showed an average of 67.58% with a positive interpretation level. Also, the effect of mathematics teachers' perceptions of literacy numeracy on learning in high school shows an overall average of 75.6% with a positive interpretation level.

Abstract

Quizizz sebagai aplikasi evaluasi memiliki peranan penting untuk meningkatkan minat belajar dan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Di Indonesia, sudah terdapat beberapa guru menggunakan aplikasi tersebut, namun penggunaan secara luas masih belum optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan respons, minat belajar, dan kemampuan pemahaman konsep bangun datar siswa SMP berbantuan aplikasi Quizizz. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 siswa SMP. Data diperoleh dari angket dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menghitung total skor respons, minat belajar, dan pemahaman konsep siswa yang dikonversi pada skala 100 dan dikategorilan sangat baik, baik, cukup, dan kurang baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan respons dan minat belajar siswa pada pembelajaran bangun datar menggunakan Quizizz berkategori baik. Rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep bangun datar siswa sebesar 66 berkategori cukup baik. Dengan demikian, guru diharapkan menggunakan Quizizz dalam pembelajaran dan evaluasinya sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat siswa belajar dan berlatih kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika.Quizizz as an evaluation application has an important role in increasing students' interest in learning and understanding mathematical concepts. In Indonesia, there are already several teachers using the application, but its use by teachers widely is still not optimal. The purpose of this study was to describe the response, interest in learning, and the ability to understand the concept of flat shapes for junior high school students with the help of the Quizizz application. This research is quantitative descriptive. The research subjects were 30 junior high school students. Data were obtained from questionnaires and tests. Data analysis used a quantitative descriptive technique by calculating the total response score, learning interest, and students' conceptual understanding converted on a scale of 100 and categorized as very good, good, enough, and not good. The results showed that the responses and students' learning interest in learning flat shapes using Quizizz were in good category. The average ability to understand the concept of a flat shape of 66 students is in a fairly good category. The teachers are expected to use Quizizz in their learning and evaluation so that it can increase students' interest in learning and practicing their ability to understand mathematical concepts.
