Abstract

This study aims to analyze the stylistics of the story of Prophet Musa and Khiḍr in Surah Al-Kahf, verses 60–82, focusing on morphological and semantic aspects. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative approach and content analysis. The data was collected through documentation techniques from primary sources such as Qur'anic verses and secondary sources such as tafsīr books, dictionaries, and relevant previous studies. The study results show that the morphological aspects of this story include letter omission, the choice of indefinite words, specific word patterns and forms, and shifts in pronouns, which create profound effects and impressions such as urgency, uniqueness, sincerity, brevity, broad meaning, and politeness. Meanwhile, from a semantic aspect, using synonyms, antonyms, and polysemy highlights the precision of word choice and enhances the message's clarity. These stylistic elements contribute to the beauty and persuasive power of the Qur'an, thereby deepening its meaning. This study emphasizes the importance of stylistic analysis in understanding the beauty of language, particularly in terms of word choice.

Abstract

This study was inspired by the younger generation's increasingly worrisome language politeness conduct, which occurs both within and outside of educational settings. For the younger generation, films can be utilized as a tool for teaching language courtesy[1]. In this essay, we will discuss how politeness and impoliteness are depicted in the movie Bilal: A New Breed of Hero. The descriptive qualitative research method is being used in this study. The 60 utterances that made up the research sample were chosen at random and included declarative phrases, imperatives, prohibitions, and apologies. The politeness theory of Leech was used to assess the data. Bilal Movie: A New Breed of Hero, the study's output, employs every perspective politeness maxim. The maxim of knowledge (33.3%) and the maxim of praise (0.6%) are the maxims that are most frequently used in this movie, the maxim of sympathy (10 %) and the maxim of generosity (8.3%).

Abstract

This study explores the integration of the Picture Word Inductive Model (PWIM) with the use of digital dictionaries in teaching Arabic writing skills. Employing the Integrative Literature Review (ILR) approach, the study analyzes literature related to PWIM, digital dictionary technology, and the teaching of Arabic writing skills. The findings indicate that PWIM is effective in enhancing vocabulary acquisition, grammar, and sentence structure through a visual and systematic approach. Digital dictionaries complement this method by providing quick access to vocabulary, contextual meanings, and word usage variations. The resulting teaching model involves structured steps, starting from image-based vocabulary introduction to the gradual development of complete texts. The implementation model of PWIM assisted by a digital dictionary has significant implications for Arabic language learning. For teachers, this method helps optimize image-based and inductive learning while guiding students in using digital dictionaries to select the appropriate vocabulary in writing contexts. For educational institutions, this study highlights the importance of strengthening digital literacy through teacher training and the integration of technology into the curriculum. For researchers, these findings open opportunities to explore the effectiveness of this method through empirical studies at various educational levels and compare it with other approaches in teaching writing skills. This research is expected to serve as a reference for educators, institutions, and educational technology developers in creating more effective, innovative, and engaging Arabic language learning experiences.

Abstract

The advancement of modern technology has brought significant innovations in the field of education. One of the most developed technologies is AI-based Text-to-Speech (TTS), which converts written text into natural, accurate speech. This technology effectively solves the challenges students face in developing listening skills (maharah istima'). This research analyzes the potential, challenges, and strategies in integrating AI-based TTS into Arabic language learning, particularly in enhancing maharah istima'. The study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method. Data sources are obtained from relevant and up-to-date scientific literature, including journal articles, books, proceedings, and research reports. The collected data is analyzed using a thematic analysis approach. The findings show that AI-based TTS can improve the effectiveness of learning maharah istima' in Arabic, offering greater accessibility and flexibility. However, further development is needed to address limitations such as prosody, dialect, and the application of tajwid. One of the key strategies is implementing deep learning models in TTS.

Abstract

This research examines applying a deep learning approach in teaching Arabic vocabulary (mufradāt) by integrating three main pillars: mindful learning, meaningful learning, and joyful learning. The research explores how these principles can enhance Arabic vocabulary mastery through innovative technology-based strategies. Using the Integrative Literature Review (ILR) method, this study synthesizes relevant literature from indexed journals, academic books, and research reports published between 2020 and 2025. Data was collected from trusted academic databases such as Google Scholar, Crossref, and Scopus. After a rigorous selection process, 12 high-quality literature sources were analyzed to identify key themes, methodologies, and findings. The analysis process involved identifying the theoretical foundation, objectives, methodology, findings, and relevance of deep learning-based mufradāt instruction studies. Key findings from various sources were synthesized to formulate a conceptual instructional model that integrates deep learning principles to enhance the effectiveness of Arabic vocabulary learning. The results show that the deep learning approach improves Arabic vocabulary mastery by encouraging student engagement, contextual understanding, and emotional motivation. Mindful learning enhances focus and retention through reflective practices and multimedia tools. Meaningful learning strengthens long-term memory by connecting new vocabulary with prior knowledge and real-life contexts. Joyful learning increases motivation through gamification, interactive media (such as Duolingo, Kahoot!, and Educandy), and collaborative activities. However, limited technological infrastructure in remote areas can hinder implementation. In conclusion, the deep learning approach supported by mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning strategies offers a transformative framework for teaching Arabic vocabulary. Educators can create engaging, effective, and sustainable learning environments by leveraging technology and student-centered pedagogy.

Abstract

This systematic literature review examines technological innovations in Nahwu learning in Indonesia from 2020 to 2025, focusing on three dimensions: types of technology used, educational impact, and implementation challenges. Using the PRISMA framework, 20 peer-reviewed articles were selected based on clear inclusion and exclusion criteria. The findings reveal that Android-based mobile applications, educational games, web platforms, and AI-powered tools are most commonly used, with recent trends favoring adaptive and interactive solutions. These technologies have enhanced student motivation, understanding, and learning flexibility. However, significant challenges persist, including limited infrastructure, low digital literacy among teachers and students, and the need for media tailored to Nahwu’s unique characteristics. Unlike previous reviews, this study holistically synthesizes innovations, impacts, and contextual obstacles, highlighting a research gap in technology integration specific to Nahwu instruction. Limitations include the relatively small number of eligible studies and the potential for publication bias. The review recommends developing context-appropriate learning media, strengthening teacher training, and improving infrastructure to maximize the transformative potential of technology in Nahwu learning. Comprehensive and adaptive strategies are essential to ensure effective and equitable technology integration, supporting the evolving needs of students and educators in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the stylistic aspects of Surah Az-Zumar verses 71–74, focusing on the eschatological representation of the Qur'an through linguistic elements. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing library research. The primary data consists of Surah Az-Zumar verses 71–74 and classical and modern exegeses collected through documentation. Data analysis uses qualitative content analysis based on the Qalyubi stylistic framework, encompassing phonological, morphological, syntactic, and semantic levels. Phonological analysis reveals a consistent end-rhyme pattern and internal rhythm, reinforced by assonance and tempo variations, which create significant emotional and aesthetic impacts. Morphologically, the strategic use of passive forms, such as "sīqa" and "futiḥat," emphasizes eschatological events and enhances visual imagery, thereby building dramatic tension. From a syntactic perspective, formulaic repetition and stylistic ellipsis highlight the narrative contrast between the destinies of the inhabitants of Paradise and Hell, clarifying the divine message of justice and engaging readers emotionally. Semantically, the employment of musyākalah and muqābalah khilāfī enriches the narrative by subtly contrasting the two destinies through word choice. In conclusion, stylistic elements in Surah Az-Zumar verses 71–74 are not merely aesthetic embellishments but serve as profound theological tools, shaping readers' cognitive, affective, and spiritual experiences of eschatological reality.
