Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana kartun digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam membentuk akhlakul karimah anak usia dini. Studi ini dilaksanakan di TK Hatinia Barokah Desa Suka Ramai Kecamatan Kualuh Hulu Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Akhlakul karimah yang ditanamkan di TK Hatinia Barokah Desa Suka Rame, Kecamatan Kualuh Hulu, Labuhanbatu Utara adalah sikap religius, cinta lingkungan, cinta tanah air, jujur, peduli terhadap teman-teman, dan orang tua. Dalam pelaksanaan menanamkan sikap akhlakul karimah tersebut digunakan media dengan penayangan kartun Nussa dan Rara. Pemilihan media ini sangat tepat sebab mayoritas anak suka menonton dan menirukan apa yang mereka lihat. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa pembelajaran anak usia dini dengan menggunakan media kartun berhasil membentuk akhlakul karimah siswa.

Abstract

Singing is a learning method that uses sung poetry in an effort to make it easier to convey material in the learning process. This research aims to describe the implementation of the independent curriculum in Al-Qur'an Hadith subjects using the singing method at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This research method uses qualitative research methods carried out at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The results of this research are that the implementation of the independent curriculum through the singing method in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah has three stages, namely planning at the beginning of learning with the teacher making teaching modules, determining the tune of the song, making lyrics or poems that are adapted to the Al-Quran lesson material. Al-Qu'ran Hadith, namely about Surah Al-'Alaq, compiling the words to make a song, then the songs sung are songs about the learning material and the verses read must be in accordance with the makhraj. Next, the implementation stage begins with opening activities, core activities and closing activities. The implementation of the independent curriculum on Al-Qur'an Hadith subjects using the singing method at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah makes class conditions enjoyable, students look active during teaching and learning activities, makes it easier for students to remember the material that has been taught, learning becomes effective, students feel happy, easy to remember without coercion, not boring, so it attracts students' interest in learning and makes the class atmosphere happy in participating in the learning process and they prefer to use the singing method rather than other methods.

Abstract

This article aims to examine learning strategies for early childhood education in instilling character education from the perspective of the Quran. The focus of this article is on how strategies such as habituation, role modeling, storytelling, educational play, rewards, and integration of daily activities can shape Quranic values such as religiosity, discipline, honesty, responsibility, empathy, and cooperation. This article was written using a qualitative method with content analysis. The data sources were taken from the Quran and supported by literature sourced from theories, expert opinions, books, and related journals. All data were analyzed thematically using the Miles and Huberman technique. The results of the analysis show that habituation and role modeling are the most effective methods, while other strategies serve as reinforcements. Overall, this article confirms that Quranic value-based learning strategies can shape children's character holistically from an early age, thereby providing a solid foundation for the formation of Muslims with good character.

Abstract

Building the morals of the nation's children is the main responsibility of integrated Islamic education. Education that instills faith, morals, intelligence and aesthetics based on the development of the child's soul. Here, collective awareness of Muslims is needed. This means that assessing joint strategies to build the morals of the people and nation is a necessity. The regeneration of monotheism, devotion to worship, noble character and high knowledge are the internal demands and challenges of Muslims. Islamic education needs to start from teaching monotheism to deepen faith, improve morals, strengthen worship, expand mu'amalah for the glory of Muslims as the best people (khaira ummah), who move on the middle/fair path (ummatan washotan), and in the unity of monotheism.

Abstract

This research is in the discourse of Islamic education and differentiation-based learning innovation, which has so far been more often discussed in the context of general education than applied in religious curriculum, especially at the elementary level. This article aims to explore the implementation of differentiation-based learning media in the Islamic education curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Husna, and its impact on students' learning experiences. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, where data are collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, principals, and students, as well as documentation studies of learning planning and teaching media used. The research location was chosen purposively because this madrasah is known to actively implement innovative learning approaches. The research findings show that the use of differentiated learning media in the madrasah not only improves the understanding of Islamic material cognitively, but also strengthens affective aspects such as empathy and student spirituality. This approach allows teachers to deliver material according to students' readiness, interests, and learning styles, which has a positive impact on learning engagement. The contribution of this paper lies in expanding the concept of differentiation to the realm of elementary religious education, as well as offering a new perspective on the integration of Islamic values ??in differentiated learning. This study confirms the importance of adaptive and inclusive learning strategies in Islamic education. This result is significant because it paves the way for the transformation of religious learning that is more contextual and relevant to the characteristics of students.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Management of Educational Facilities and Infrastructure to Improve the Quality of Learning at MIN 3 Labuhan Batu". In the learning process, facilities and infrastructure are very necessary for schools to support the success of learning activities. The aim of this research is to determine: (1) management of educational facilities and infrastructure, (2) efforts made to improve the quality of learning . This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subject of this research is the deputy head of the facilities and infrastructure division of MIN 3 Labuhan Batu, while the object of this research is the management of educational facilities and infrastructure to improve the quality of learning. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that: (1) Management of educational facilities and infrastructure is carried out by involving all school components such as principals, deputies and teachers, for procurement based on prioritized needs and adjusted to funds, both BOS funds and assistance from other parties. other. Then it is recorded in the inventory book for a period of one year. Meanwhile, deletion has never been carried out until now. (2) The efforts made are to equip educational facilities and infrastructure and motivate students to be more active in studying.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of teacher communication patterns on student academic achievement in Aqidah Akhlak at MIS Islamiyah Londut, North Labuhanbatu. This quantitative correlational study involved 33 students who were selected through purposive sampling. Data were gathered through questionnaires, recordings, and classroom observations, with all instruments validated and tested for reliability. Data analysis employed simple linear regression, a t-test, and R² analysis to assess the relationship between teacher communication and student academic outcomes. The results revealed a significant impact of teacher communication patterns on student achievement. The t-count value (19.334) exceeded the t-table value (1.692), and the R-squared value (0.923) indicated that the communication patterns employed by teachers could explain 92.3% of the variance in student performance. These findings affirm that clear, engaging, and responsive communication in the classroom substantially enhances students' understanding and academic success. This study highlights the importance of effective teacher communication in promoting student learning, especially in values-based subjects like Aqidah Akhlak. It suggests that educators should adopt more interactive and student-centered communication strategies. Training programs and workshops focusing on pedagogical communication skills such as active listening, questioning techniques, and feedback strategies should be prioritized. Additionally, school leaders can incorporate communication quality as a key metric in evaluating teaching effectiveness. For teacher education institutions, these findings support the integration of communication-focused modules into pre-service and in-service teacher training to better equip educators for meaningful classroom interactions.

Abstract

Learning Malay Arabic script is part of the school curriculum, learning Arabic Malay is included in the category of local content learning. It cannot be guaranteed that all schools or madrasas have a Malay Arabic script curriculum, there are also some schools that do not use the Malay Arabic script as local content. In this research, researchers conducted research at SD Al Azhar Medan regarding the analysis of the implementation of the Arabic Malay Script learning curriculum at SD Al Azhar Medan including methods, strategies, evaluation tools, and difficulties felt by teachers in teaching Arabic Malay Script learning. This research uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation methods. The aim of teaching Malay Arabic Script in schools is to develop students' language skills in mastering reading and writing Malay Arabic Script. Malay Arabic script is an important lesson in the curriculum as a local content curriculum so that the Malay Arabic script must be designed as well as possible during learning, in order to create an active and creative learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Low levels of students’ learning concentration at the elementary madrasah level highlight the need for strategic approaches within Islamic education that integrate cognitive and spiritual dimensions. Previous studies have predominantly examined Qur’anic reading practices as instruments for character development and religious literacy, while limited attention has been given to their contribution to students’ learning concentration in formal educational settings. The purpose is to examine Qur’anic reading habits as a strategic approach to enhancing learning concentration within the Islamic education curriculum at elementary madrasahs. A qualitative case study design was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, complemented by thematic analysis. The findings indicate that habituation of reading the Qur’an, particularly Juz ‘Amma, conducted daily for 15 minutes before classroom instruction using the tartil method, significantly improves students’ learning concentration. The practice also contributes to the development of religious character traits, including discipline, responsibility, and respect for the Qur’an. Implementation supported by collaboration between teachers and parents, alongside ability-based student grouping, effectively addresses challenges related to differences in recitation skills and understanding of tajwid. The originality lies in positioning Qur’anic reading habits as an integrated pedagogical strategy that simultaneously strengthens cognitive concentration and spiritual character formation, offering a holistic framework for Islamic education curriculum development at elementary madrasahs.
