Abstract

This research is entitled "Management of Educational Facilities and Infrastructure to Improve the Quality of Learning at MIN 3 Labuhan Batu". In the learning process, facilities and infrastructure are very necessary for schools to support the success of learning activities. The aim of this research is to determine: (1) management of educational facilities and infrastructure, (2) efforts made to improve the quality of learning . This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subject of this research is the deputy head of the facilities and infrastructure division of MIN 3 Labuhan Batu, while the object of this research is the management of educational facilities and infrastructure to improve the quality of learning. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that: (1) Management of educational facilities and infrastructure is carried out by involving all school components such as principals, deputies and teachers, for procurement based on prioritized needs and adjusted to funds, both BOS funds and assistance from other parties. other. Then it is recorded in the inventory book for a period of one year. Meanwhile, deletion has never been carried out until now. (2) The efforts made are to equip educational facilities and infrastructure and motivate students to be more active in studying.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of teacher communication patterns on student academic achievement in Aqidah Akhlak at MIS Islamiyah Londut, North Labuhanbatu. This quantitative correlational study involved 33 students who were selected through purposive sampling. Data were gathered through questionnaires, recordings, and classroom observations, with all instruments validated and tested for reliability. Data analysis employed simple linear regression, a t-test, and R² analysis to assess the relationship between teacher communication and student academic outcomes. The results revealed a significant impact of teacher communication patterns on student achievement. The t-count value (19.334) exceeded the t-table value (1.692), and the R-squared value (0.923) indicated that the communication patterns employed by teachers could explain 92.3% of the variance in student performance. These findings affirm that clear, engaging, and responsive communication in the classroom substantially enhances students' understanding and academic success. This study highlights the importance of effective teacher communication in promoting student learning, especially in values-based subjects like Aqidah Akhlak. It suggests that educators should adopt more interactive and student-centered communication strategies. Training programs and workshops focusing on pedagogical communication skills such as active listening, questioning techniques, and feedback strategies should be prioritized. Additionally, school leaders can incorporate communication quality as a key metric in evaluating teaching effectiveness. For teacher education institutions, these findings support the integration of communication-focused modules into pre-service and in-service teacher training to better equip educators for meaningful classroom interactions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Al-Quran education curriculum management in optimizing early childhood learning at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal (ABA) I Kindergarten, Aek Kanopan Timur, North Labuhanbatu. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type, involving the principal, teachers, students, and parents as informants. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, while data analysis used data condensation techniques that included selecting, focusing, and simplifying data to draw conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of curriculum management has been carried out regularly through planning (annual, semester, and weekly programs), the implementation of play-based learning approaches with varied methods, and continuous authentic evaluation. This implementation has a positive impact on improving the ability to read hijaiyah letters, memorize short verses, and children's interest and love for the Al-Quran. However, there are obstacles in the form of differences in children's abilities, limited infrastructure, and suboptimal parental support. Therefore, this study recommends strengthening collaboration between schools and parents, improving teacher competency, and developing innovative media and technology-based learning methods to support the optimization of Qur'an learning in early childhood.

Abstract

Learning Malay Arabic script is part of the school curriculum, learning Arabic Malay is included in the category of local content learning. It cannot be guaranteed that all schools or madrasas have a Malay Arabic script curriculum, there are also some schools that do not use the Malay Arabic script as local content. In this research, researchers conducted research at SD Al Azhar Medan regarding the analysis of the implementation of the Arabic Malay Script learning curriculum at SD Al Azhar Medan including methods, strategies, evaluation tools, and difficulties felt by teachers in teaching Arabic Malay Script learning. This research uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation methods. The aim of teaching Malay Arabic Script in schools is to develop students' language skills in mastering reading and writing Malay Arabic Script. Malay Arabic script is an important lesson in the curriculum as a local content curriculum so that the Malay Arabic script must be designed as well as possible during learning, in order to create an active and creative learning atmosphere.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of the Islamic Education curriculum in shaping students' religious character. It focuses on the habit of praying the Dhuha prayer at MIS Al-Washliyah Langgeng Sari. The study employs a qualitative approach, using a case study design. Research subjects included the principal, Islamic Education teachers, students, and parents. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used a data condensation model, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the management curriculum has been implemented systematically in three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Planning integrates religious values in all school activities. The habit of praying Dhuha is implemented routinely and in a structured manner. It is supported by teacher role models and a fun learning approach. Evaluation is carried out authentically by observing changes in student behavior. The habit of praying Dhuha has proven to positively impact students' religious character. These include discipline, responsibility, honesty, and empathy. However, there are still obstacles, such as a lack of student awareness and parental support. Therefore, synergy is needed between schools and families to optimize the formation of students' religious character sustainably.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the character education curriculum at Raudhatul Athfal At Taufiq Salam Labuhanbatu Utara and its effectiveness in cultivating students' morality through early childhood education practices. Methodology: This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, documentation, and interviews with teachers and school administrators. The study focused on how character values were embedded in daily school activities, thematic learning, teacher modeling, and school culture. Supporting literature and relevant documents were also analyzed to validate findings. Main Findings: The findings revealed that character values such as religiosity, honesty, discipline, and social care were effectively instilled through an integrated approach. The main challenges included limited teacher understanding of character-based pedagogy, lack of synergy between school and parents, and inadequate facilities. Nonetheless, the character education practices at Raudhatul Athfal At Taufiq Salam contributed positively to students' moral development. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study contributes to the field of early childhood education by highlighting the contextual implementation of character education within an Islamic preschool setting. It emphasizes the integration of moral values into routine learning, offering insights into best practices and practical challenges faced by educators in rural Indonesian schools.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menekankan keaktifan peserta didik, dengan guru berperan sebagai fasilitator dan motivator. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pelaksanaan model pembelajaran PjBL dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi, keaktifan, dan kreativitas siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, serta (2) mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penerapannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis field research dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan uji kredibilitas melalui peningkatan ketekunan, sedangkan analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala madrasah, Wakil Kepala Kurikulum, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, serta peserta didik UPTD SDN 012838 Desa Manis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pelaksanaan model PjBL dalam pembelajaran fikih dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan penutup, yang mampu meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi, keaktifan, dan kreativitas belajar siswa; (2) faktor pendukung meliputi profesionalisme guru, motivasi belajar peserta didik yang tinggi, serta sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, sedangkan faktor penghambat meliputi perbedaan kemampuan siswa dan keterbatasan alokasi waktu. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model PjBL efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of instilling honesty values ​​from an early age through the Islamic Education curriculum amidst the decline in children's moral character in everyday life. One effort is to implement a learning model of the stories of the prophets as an interesting character education medium and appropriate for early childhood development. This study aims to describe the learning model of the stories of the prophets in the Islamic Education curriculum to instill the value of honesty in children at RA Miftahul Ilmu. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Research informants consisted of the principal, teachers, parents, and students. The results showed that the learning model was implemented through storytelling methods, habituation, teacher role models, educational games, and direct interaction with children. The story of the Prophet Muhammad SAW as an example of honesty became the main material in the learning. The impact of this implementation model is seen in changes in children's behavior such as daring to tell the truth, admitting mistakes, and taking responsibility. This study concludes that the learning model of the stories of the prophets is effective in instilling honesty values ​​and shaping Islamic character in early childhood gradually and sustainably.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana kartun digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam membentuk akhlakul karimah anak usia dini. Studi ini dilaksanakan di TK Hatinia Barokah Desa Suka Ramai Kecamatan Kualuh Hulu Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Akhlakul karimah yang ditanamkan di TK Hatinia Barokah Desa Suka Rame, Kecamatan Kualuh Hulu, Labuhanbatu Utara adalah sikap religius, cinta lingkungan, cinta tanah air, jujur, peduli terhadap teman-teman, dan orang tua. Dalam pelaksanaan menanamkan sikap akhlakul karimah tersebut digunakan media dengan penayangan kartun Nussa dan Rara. Pemilihan media ini sangat tepat sebab mayoritas anak suka menonton dan menirukan apa yang mereka lihat. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa pembelajaran anak usia dini dengan menggunakan media kartun berhasil membentuk akhlakul karimah siswa.
