Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the thinking on moral education according to Al Ghazali and Al Zarnuji from the perspectives of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. In this research using qualitative methods and literature analysis, the results show that there are two figures who played a role in the development of moral education. Firstly, Imam Al Ghazali is one of the most popular scientists to date. He not only played a role in moral education, but he also formulated how it should be a teacher and student personality. In the practice of character education or moral education in schools today, Imam Al Ghazali's concept of moral education is still prevalent. The concept of moral education developed by Imam Al Ghazali is still used today because it is considered relevant to current conditions. Even though it is still relevant, it does not rule out the possibility that this concept also needs re-development to be more appropriate to the current situation where humans are faced with sophisticated technology. Therefore, it is important to maintain and advance moral education to prevent its extinction and replacement by something else. Second Imam Az Zarnuji in the book Ta'lim muta'alim About the study period; about mutual love and advice; taking knowledge; the state of studying; things that can strengthen memory and weaken it; things that can make it easier to bring in sustainability, prolong life, and reduce life.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a holistic spiritual education model in higher education with a multidisciplinary approach. Spiritual education is becoming increasingly important in the context of higher education, considering the demand for the formation of individuals who not only develop intellectually, but also emotionally, spiritually and morally. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a case study type of research. This research analyses the spiritual education practices at Muhammadiyah University Palu. The data collection techniques used were interviews, documentation and observation. This research involved interviews with education, spirituality and multidisciplinary figures to obtain diverse points of view. The results of this research explain a holistic spiritual education model that combines principles from various scientific disciplines, such as psychology, philosophy, anthropology, and theology. This model will also provide practical guidance for other universities to integrate spiritual aspects in the curriculum and learning activities on campus. It is hoped that the development of this holistic spiritual education model can make a significant contribution in building the character and well-being of students, as well as preparing them to face complex challenges in their personal and professional lives in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the concept of Islam rahmatan lil’alamin perspective of Ulama and to analyze its implications for strengthening students profile in Nusantara. This study was conducted using a library research method, and the research data sources were diverse articles and research findings on the paradigm of Islam rahmatan lil’alamin and its implications. The research findings revealed that Ulama have provided their views on this matter, such as KH. Hazim Muzadi, who proposed three approaches to promote Islam Islam rahmatan lil’alamin, KH. Achmad Siddiq, who developed the concept of ukhuwah trilogy, and KH. Achmad Dahlan, who emphasized values in his preaching method. The implications of these findings provide support for shaping the profiles of students in Nusantara by designing programs and activities that offer opportunities for students to develop and actualize the values of rahmatan lil’alamin, both within the school environment and in society

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the suitability of indicators for basic competence in the implementation of learning plans for islamic education subjects at SMK Muhammadiyah Tanjung Redeb based on the revised bloom taxonomy. This research was a qualitative descriptive study. The research location was carried out at the Tanjung Redeb Muhammadiyah Vocational School, Berau Regency, East Kalimantan. The objects in this study were indicators and basic competencies in class XI lesson plans for islamic education which were developed by educators at the Tanjung Redeb Muhammadiyah Vocational School, Berau, East Kalimantan. Data collection techniques used documentation analysis techniques, while for data analysis techniques researchers used interactive techniques Miles, Huberman and Saldana by going through the stages of condensing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. As for testing the validity of the data using triangulation. The results of the study showed that there was a discrepancy at the level of basic competence with indicators of achieving competence where these indicators are below basic competence.

Abstract

Islamic religious education has a very important role in shaping individual moral and ethical character. By involving the understanding and practice of Islamic teachings, religious education is able to build moral awareness, strengthen faith, and provide direction for positive behavior. Various values such as justice, honesty, politeness, patience and generosity are instilled to form a good personality. Apart from that, Islamic religious education also teaches universal values such as respect for others and environmental conservation. However, Islamic religious education is faced with a number of challenges, including changes in social values and norms, technological advances, and generational transformation. To overcome this, strategies are needed such as developing a relevant curriculum, improving the quality of teachers, utilizing technology and media, collaborating with parents and the community, openness to contextual challenges, and a continuous monitoring and evaluation system. Thus, Islamic religious education can become a solid foundation in forming strong morals and ethics in Muslim individuals.

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai Negara multikultural sering dihadapkan pada berbagai permasalahan intoleransi , dari data tahun 2022 terjadi 26 kasus dan di tahun 2023 sepanjang bulan mei terjadi 4 kasus. Permasalahan ini terjadi di semua aspek kehidupan masyarakat termasuk di lingkungan pendidikan. Bentuk intoleransi yang sering terjadi di dunia pendidikan adalah perundungan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model pembentukan sikap tasamuh melalui pembelajaran akhlak di MTs Al Irsyad Tenggara 7 Kota Batu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yaitu metode penelitian sistematis tertulis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang dilakukan secara langsung di lapangan (Field Research) yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan secara langsung kepada sumber data primer. Jenis dalam penelitian yaitu studi kasus , yang berbasis pada pemahaman dan perilaku manusia. Metode pengepulan data yang digunakan oleh penulis yakni melalui observasi (pengamatan), wawancara (wawancara), dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembentukan sikap tasamuh di MTs Al Irsyad Tenggara 7 Kota Batu mengacu pada model pembelajaran Model Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) yang terdiri dari: pendekatan pembelajaran, strategi pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, teknik dan taktik pembelajaran yang mengandung unsur tasamuh.

Abstract

This study explores the practice of Sufism within the educational context of SD Muhammadiyah Kademangaran, an institution under the auspices of the Muhammadiyah organization. Known for its modern and reformist approach to Islam, Muhammadiyah is often perceived as giving little room to the more mystical and introspective practices of Sufism. This case study employs a qualitative approach to deepen understanding of how elements of Sufism are integrated into the curriculum and daily school activities, and how these practices are received by teachers and students. Through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and analysis of school documents, this research reveals that SD Muhammadiyah Kademangaran integrates Sufi values not only in the teaching of Islamic religion but also in the cultivation of student character and ethics. This practice demonstrates a harmonization between Muhammadiyah's rational approach and the spiritual aspects of Sufism, offering new insights into discussions on the diversity of religious practices in Islamic education in Indonesia. The study also highlights the challenges and opportunities in merging these seemingly opposing traditions, as well as the implications of such practices for the development of an inclusive and holistic Islamic education curriculum.

Abstract

This research aims to explain teacher competency by utilizing digital technology as a learning tool for Islamic religious education. Contribute to developing innovative teaching and increase teacher competency in facing technological challenges in the digital era. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach at the Sumbawa Islamic Pharmacy Vocational School. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation and documentation studies. The analysis uses qualitative description. The research found that the Islamic education learning process using e-learning affected student learning outcomes. Learning with a blended-learning system, namely a combination of face-to-face and distance learning or offline and online. In the learning implementation stage, Islamic education teachers have carried out essential settings related to using digital e-learning technology, including needs analysis activities, creating instructional designs, steps of using and developing e-learning, and evaluation.

Abstract

Blended learning merupakan metode pembelajaran yang menggabungkan pembelajaran tatap muka dan diselingi dengan pembelajaran daring secara terpadu, tujuan dari penelitian ini ingin mengatahui bagaimana MAN Kotawarngin Timur (Kotim) mengoptimalisasi pembelajaran PAI berbasis Blended learning di saat Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas (PTMT) dan bagaiman implikasinya di era new normal. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research dan hasilnya menunjukan bahwa MAN Kotim dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan blended learning dengan pendekatan sinkron dan asinkron. Adapun implikasinya guru dan murid mendapatkan kemudahan dalam mengakses materi pembelajaran; lebih interaktif dan tidak gagap teknologi; dalam proses pembelajaran berjalan lebih menyenangkan karena tidak terpaku pada pelajaran di kelas; dan murid bisa mandiri dalam penyelesaikan tugas-tugasnya di rumah.

Abstract

Abstrak Tulisan ini merupakan pemikiran sang penelaah buku Memeriksai ‘Alam Kebenaran karya HOS Tjokroaminoto yang terdiri dari pandangan Pak Tjokro dan penelusuran biografi serta pemikiran. Penulis merasa Pak Tjokro menangkap apinya Islam, tidak hanya sekedar ajaran dasar Islam, karena pola pikirnya terbentuk dari lingkungan keluarga santri. Penulis merasa karya Pak Tjokro masih relevan dengan kondisi saat ini, namun perlu tinjauan lebih lanjut mengenai persoalan yang terjadi dan gagasan-gagasan yang menopang SI. Abstract This paper is the mind of the reviewer of the book Examine the Realm of Truth by HOS Tjokroaminoto which consists of Mr. Tjokro's views and biographical search and thought. The writer feels that Mr. Tjokro has captured the fire of Islam, not just the basic teachings of Islam, because his mindset is formed from the environment of the santri family. The author feels that Mr. Tjokro's work is still relevant to current conditions, but needs further review of the problems that occur and the ideas that underpin SI.
