Abstract

This study aims to identify the importance of mental health support for children and adolescents with special needs through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The SLR process involved the identification, selection, and analysis of articles obtained from the Scopus database using the keywords “children,” “adolescents,” and “special needs.” Out of an initial 55 articles, 10 relevant studies were selected, comprising longitudinal, qualitative, and experimental research published in Q1 to Q4 indexed journals. These studies examined psychosocial interventions such as school-based counseling, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and social skills training. The findings indicate that sustained and contextually adapted interventions have a positive impact on psychological well-being, social adaptation, and academic achievement among children and adolescents with special needs. Active support from families, educational institutions, and communities emerged as key factors contributing to the success of these interventions. This review highlights the necessity of integrating interdisciplinary frameworks in policy and intervention development and encourages further research exploring the effectiveness of cross-cultural and longitudinal approaches.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the psychological dynamics of caregivers of parents with dementia. This qualitative research used phenomenological approach and utilized Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) for data analysis. The interviews were conducted with two female respondents, aged 46 and 47 years, who were caring for a parent (mother) with dementia. The results of data analysis found the process of accepting the diagnosis and medical rationalization of caregivers towards the condition of patients with dementia, the existence of identity transformation and caregiver role conflicts in the family, emerging emotional navigation in caregivers to cope with stress and relational burden, psychological fatigue both cognitively and emotionally, the use of nurses and acceptance of social support as a form of adaptive coping.

Abstract

Introduction: The short version of the falls efficacy scale–international (FES-I), consisting of seven items, has not yet been adapted for use in Indonesia, although the long version has been validated in Bahasa Indonesia. This study aimed to adapt and validate the Indonesian short version of the FES-I for use in time-limited settings or with frail older adults. Methods: This cross-sectional study validated the Indonesian Falls Efficacy Scale for older adults through translation, cultural adaptation, expert review, and reliability testing. Content validity was assessed by seven experts, and a field test was conducted with 135 older adults. Data were analyzed using Cronbach’s Alpha in IBM SPSS Statistics 26. Results: Among the 135 respondents, the majority (82%) were aged between 60 and 74 years, with females comprising 60% of the sample. The shortened questionnaire demonstrated good reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.8) and excellent validity (item content validity index= 0.857–1; scale-level content validity index= 0.938). Conclusion: The findings support the reliability and validity of the short Indonesian version of the FES. This version is especially effective and practical for quickly screening older adults with a fear of falling during daily activities and social interactions.

Abstract

The rapid development of the digital world presents numerous potential risks, particularly for children. Compared to other age groups, children are at a heightened risk of exposure to inappropriate content, cyberbullying, and privacy violations due to their limited ability to protect themselves. Parental guidance plays a crucial role in helping children navigate these digital dangers. This study aims to explore the internal factors of parents and their role in supporting children in managing digital risks. Using a qualitative approach and a case study methodology, the study involved four parents of children aged 7 to 12 years who were actively engaged in managing digital risks. Data collection consisted of online surveys, followed by interviews and self-report documents, all of which were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings highlight that internal factors such as parental values and communication significantly influence how effectively parents can support their children in addressing digital risks. Based on these results, it is recommended that future interventions and support programs for parents focus on strengthening communication skills and aligning family values to better equip parents in guiding their children through digital challenges.

Abstract

Melalui penelitian ini, peneliti ingin membuktikan seberapa besar pengaruh strategi self-regulated learning (SLR) terhadap kemampuan resiliensi akademik mahasiswa pascasarjana multidisiplin. Peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan menyebarkan angket tentang strategi SLR yang menggunakan teori Zimmerman & Martines (1989) serta skala ketahanan akademik dari teori Martin & Marsh (2003). Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara strategi self-regulated learning (SLR) dan resiliensi akademik mahasiswa pascasarjana multidisiplin, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 dan nilai R sebesar 0,409. Ini berarti bahwa strategi self-regulated learning memiliki kontribusi sebesar 16,7% terhadap resiliensi akademik mahasiswa. Implikasi penelitian ini bahwa pentingnya peningkatan strategi self-regulated learning demi meningkatkan resiliensi akademik mahasiswa pascasarjana

Abstract

The prevalence of children with disabilities in Indonesia is very high. According to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the number of children with disabilities reached 1.6 million in 2018 and increased to 22.5 million in 2020. These children require an appropriate educational approach, but the implementation of inclusive education still faces challenges. This study evaluates the implementation of inclusive education and the factors influencing the success of curriculum modification interventions. Using a literature review method, 65 articles were identified, and 10 articles met the inclusion criteria and were evaluated. The results show some successes in inclusive education but also challenges such as government preparedness, educational institutions, inadequate regulations, and insufficient infrastructure. The success of curriculum modification interventions depends on teachers' understanding of children's needs and support from the government and society. Inclusive education requires serious and collaborative efforts, including the expansion of government regulations, improvement of human resource management, and partnerships with external stakeholders. An adaptive curriculum model could be an innovative solution to better meet the learning needs of children with disabilities.

Abstract

Pandemi telah mengubah tatanan perilaku dan budaya, termasuk perilaku dalam belajar. Pasca covid-19, terdapat trend baru dalam pendekatan pembelajaran, yaitu memadukan antara pembelajaran dengan panduan guru dan pembelajaran mandiri di rumah. Kondisi ini menghendaki orang tua juga memiliki keterampilan untuk mendampingi anak dalam belajar. Peran ini menjadi tantangan baru bagi orang tua, karena mendapatkan tugas strategis untuk memfasilitasi belajar anaknya. Orang tua memiliki kebutuhan untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan bagi anak. Sementara itu, karakteristik dari usia anak adalah usia bermain. Anak lebih bisa menyerap dan mengelola pengetahuannya melalui aktivitas bermain. Persoalannya, para orang tua merasa dirinya tidak memiliki kemampuan untuk memfasilitasi belajar dan membuat media belajar yang menyenangkan bagi anak. Untuk itu, diperlukan keterampilan orang tua dalam membuat permainan edukatif. Sehingga pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan orang tua dalam mengelola belajar anak usia sekolah dasar melalui pembuatan permainan edukatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini terdiri dari (1) pelatihan, (2) pembentukan komunitas orang tua pengembangan permainan edukatif, (3) mentoring, (4) shared learning, (5) evaluasi program pelatihan. Partisipan dalam pelatihan ini terdiri dari 21 orang tua siswa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan kemampuan orang tua dalam memilih, menggunakan dan membuat permainan edukatif untuk memfasilitasi belajar anak. Dari hasil uji paired-sample t test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari pelatihan (p = 0.001). Dengan melakukan uji effect size menggunakan eta squared, diperoleh effect size yang besar (eta squared 0.620).

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to explore interventions implemented to optimize the role of teachers in inclusive education through a systematic literature review.Method – This study adopts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by PRISMA and structured using the PICO framework. From an initial pool of 63 articles, 13 were selected through a multistage screening process. Data were analyzed using a narrative synthesis approach, based on the Index for Inclusion framework (Booth & Ainscow, 2002), encompassing the dimensions of culture, policy, and practice in inclusive education. Findings – The review reveals that most interventions focused on teacher training—both theoretical and practical—to enhance pedagogical competence and responsiveness to student diversity. Several studies also emphasized the importance of inclusive values, attitudes, and stakeholder collaboration. The practice dimension appeared in 85% of articles, culture in 92%, and policy in 54%. These findings underscore the need for a systemic approach to inclusive education that integrates instructional strategies, supportive policies, and an inclusive school culture. Research Implications – This study highlights the need for teacher development programs that integrate policy frameworks, technical training which includes psychosocial approaches, and inclusive school culture in a cohesive manner. It also underscores the importance of long-term evaluation and structural reforms to sustain inclusive practices, especially in developing countries.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan memberikan pengetahuan tentang pola asuh orang tua terhadap perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini  melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Literatur yang dianlisis berasal dari berbagai jurnal internasional dan nasional dalam rentan waktu 2022-2025. Sebanyak 10 artikel ilmiah secara sistematis ditelaah untuk memperoleh gambaran komprehensif mengenai pengaruh pola asuh terhadap perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini. Hasil tinjauan menunjukan bahwa keterlibatan aktif orang tua dalam pengasuhan dan pemberian pola asuh yang baik akan membantu perkembangan bahasa anak. Pola asuh demokratis memberikan hasil yang positif sedangkan pola asuh oteoriter dari orang tua cenderung menghambat perkembanan bahasa anak usai dini. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya peran pola asuh orang tua dalam menciptkan dan mendukung perkembangan bahasa anak secara optimal sejak anak usia dini.

Abstract

Musik pop Korea, yang lebih dikenal dengan sebutan K-Pop, berasal dari Korea Selatan. Seiring berjalannya waktu, K-Pop semakin populer di seluruh dunia, termasuk di Indonesia, dan kini menjadi salah satu genre musik yang banyak digemari.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana gambaran perilaku celebrity worship perempuan penggemar K-Pop. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan menggunakan metode fenomenologi deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara terhadap responden secara semi-terstruktur, yang dimana responden dengan kriteria perempuan penggemar K-Pop. Transkrip wawancara kemudian dianalisis menggunakan descriptive phenomenological analysis. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah celebrity worship masih dapat ditemukan pada perempuan penggemar K-Pop, mulai dari tingkatan entertainment social yang ditandai dengan membicarakan idola dengan orang lain, melihat video idola sebagai hiburan, dan aktif mencari informasi idola, selain itu pada tingkatan intense-personal ditandai dengan responden memiliki ikatan khusus dan bisa merasakan yang dirasakan idola, responden juga menyukai hal-hal yang disukai idola. Pada tingkatan yang paling tinggi yaitu borderline-pathological, ditandai dengan responden mennginginkan pasangan seperti idola, dan responden mengeluarkan uang yang besar untuk membeli album, membeli merchandise, koleksi photocard idola hingga menonton konser.
