Abstract

In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, it is essential to develop competitive individuals equipped with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) competencies. The government, actively promotes the integration of STEM across all educational levels, including secondary schools. This emphasis arises because STEM competencies are critical for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and help individuals address real-world challenges. This literature review explores the implementation of STEM in Indonesia, focusing on the tools and strategies applied in secondary education. Over the past six years (2016–2021), changes in STEM practices have been identified. From 25 articles were analyzed, covering aspects such as instructional materials and pedagogical strategies in secondary schools. The findings reveal the distribution of resources as follows: curriculum score 7.69%, lesson plans 20.51%, modules 15.38%, student worksheets 33.33%, books 10.25%, exam questions 10.25%, and curriculum documents 2.56%. In terms of teaching approaches, the data show 4% engagement in discovery-based learning, 52% in project-based learning, 36% in problem-based learning, and 4% in scientific learning. Overall, the results indicate that STEM competencies are still not widely implemented in Indonesia, as most scores remain at or below 50%. Thus, further efforts are necessary to strengthen STEM integration in the country.

Abstract

The narrative writing skills of first-grade students at SDN Blerong 2 remain relatively low, as indicated by difficulties in organizing storylines, developing ideas, and coherently connecting pictures to sentences, thereby necessitating instructional innovations that actively and concretely engage learners. This study aims to describe the implementation of a sequential picture puzzle medium based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and to examine its effectiveness in improving first-grade students’ narrative text writing skills at SDN Blerong 2. A mixed-methods design combining quantitative and qualitative approaches was employed with 27 students, using narrative writing skill tests administered as pretests and posttests, alongside classroom observation of learning activities. The results show that at the pretest stage most students were in the “fair” category (55.6%), followed by the “poor” category (22.2%), and only 7.4% reached the “very good” category. Following the implementation of project-based learning using sequential picture puzzle media, posttest results improved significantly, with 74.1% of students in the “very good” category, 22.2% in the “good” category, and no students remaining in the “poor” category. These findings indicate that sequential picture puzzle media based on PjBL effectively support students in understanding storylines, linking images with words, and writing coherent and complete narratives. Accordingly, project-based learning using sequential picture puzzles is proven effective in enhancing first-grade students’ narrative writing skills and can serve as an innovative instructional strategy for elementary school teachers to improve the quality of active and meaningful writing instruction.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan mengoptimalkan produk ikan bakar khas PALI sebagai kuliner unggulan daerah melalui penguatan branding digital guna meningkatkan daya saing UMKM di era pemasaran berbasis teknologi. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan di Gedung Graha Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya Palembang pada tanggal 26 November 2025 dengan melibatkan pelaku UMKM dan masyarakat sebagai peserta utama. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pemetaan kebutuhan mitra, penyusunan materi sosialisasi, pemaparan konsep identitas produk lokal, pelatihan pemanfaatan media sosial dan marketplace, pendampingan pembuatan konten foto dan narasi produk, serta simulasi promosi dan penjualan secara daring. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta mengenai pentingnya citra dan kekhasan produk ikan bakar PALI, meningkatnya keterampilan dalam mengelola akun dan konten branding digital, serta bertambahnya kanal pemasaran online yang dimanfaatkan oleh UMKM mitra. Kegiatan ini menyimpulkan bahwa sosialisasi pengenalan produk yang dikombinasikan dengan pelatihan branding digital mampu memperkuat posisi produk ikan bakar khas PALI di pasar yang lebih luas dan berkontribusi pada peningkatan daya saing UMKM.

Abstract

The cold temperature of ice cubes leads people to assume that ice cubes are safe for consumption without having to consider their type and quality. In reality, the cold temperature only weakens the bacteria in the ice cubes. Ice cube samples in this study were taken from the Karangpawitan area, because this area is one of the areas with many ice cube distributors, is busy, and is one of the culinary destinations for Karawang residents. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of block ice cubes based on contamination by Coliform and Salmonella This research method includes qualitative research with an experimental approach, using the MPN test for Coliform and SSA media and gram staining for Salmonella Results from the Pondok Bogor and Kepuh locations showed positive block ice cube samples for Coliform bacteria. The Nagasari location for block ice cubes and plastic packaging tested positive for Coliform bacteria and negative for Salmonella The conclusion of this study is that the block ice cubes in the Karangpawitan area have quite high bacterial contamination. Positive results indicate that they do not meet the quality requirements based on Permenkes No. 492/Menkes/Per/IV/2010, which is >0/100 mL

Abstract

Ornamental plant cultivation can be widely beneficial in boosting community economic growth. The ornamental plant business is part of creative economic development and is one way to increase farmers' income towards better purchasing power. Ornamental plant cultivation is considered to have high economic potential, as it can be done on limited land with relatively small capital and a wide market. This community service activity aims to improve the skills and economic independence of members of the Berkah Tani 2 Women Farmers Group (KWT) through training and assistance in ornamental plant cultivation. The program will be implemented in May 2025 using a participatory approach (Participatory Rural Appraisal) that emphasizes active community involvement in every stage of the activity. The stages of this activity are activity preparation, activity implementation, and evaluation, where evaluation is conducted through interviews and observations after the activity is carried out. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge, as seen from their ability to explain the cultivation stages more accurately, an increase in skills, as shown by the success of most participants in practicing plant propagation and maintenance independently, and an increase in motivation, as seen from the members' initiative to increase the number of plants and start planning simple marketing. This activity is expected to become a model for sustainable horticulture-based community empowerment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of gamification based digital learning media on interest in learning evolution in increasing students' learning motivation. This study uses a quantitative quasi-experimental approach with a nonequivalent control group design. This study consists of three types of variables, gamification based digital learning media, interest in learning evolution, student characteristics. The study population and sample students in class XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 01  Surakarta. The results of the study showed a significant increase in learning interest in the experimental group compared to the control group. After being given certain treatments, the experimental group showed a much higher average posttest score, which was 85.13, while the control group only reached 71.45. This indicates that the treatment given to the experimental group succeeded in significantly increasing their learning interest. All indicators used to measure learning interest, such as attention, relevance, self-confidence, and satisfaction, also showed a higher increase in the experimental group. Research proves that digital technology and gamification mechanisms can effectively overcome learning challenges in abstract materials such as evolution. This makes a substantive contribution to building bridges between gamification theory, educational technology, and biology learning practices.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pengelolaan dana desa merupakan salah satu isu penting dalam akuntansi sektor publik karena berkaitan langsung dengan penggunaan dana publik dan pencapaian tujuan Pembangunan desa. Meskipun alokasi dana desa terus meningkat, efektivitas pengelolaan dana desa masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, terutama dari aaspek akuntabilitas, transparansi, partisipasi Masyarakat, dan kompetensi aparatur desa. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Akuntabilitas, Transparansi Pengelolaan Dana Desa, Partisipasi Mayarakat, dan Kompetensi terhadap Efeketivitas Pengelolaan Dana Desa.Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan data primer dan pendekatan Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 120 aparatur desa yang meliputi Kepala Desa, Sekretaris Desa, Kaur Keuangan, Kaur Perencanaan, Kaur Pemerintahan, Kasi Kesejahteraan, dan Kepala Dusun. Responden tersebut berasal dari dua kecamatan, yaitu Kecamatan Gondang dan Kecamatan Sambirejo, Kabupaten Sragen, Provinsi Jawa Tengah.Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akuntabilitas, transparansi pengelolaan dana desa, dan Kompetensi berpengaruh positif terhadap Efektivitas Pengelolaan Dana Desa, sedangkan Partisipasi Masyarakat tidak berpengaruh terhadap Efektivitas Pengelolaan Dana Desa.Keaslian/Kebaruan Penelitian: Penelitian ini menyajikan kajian empiris tentang penerapan model Partial Least Square (PLS) dalam menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas pengelolaan dana desa dengan metode survei. Kebaharuan penelitian ini terletak pada penerapan model PLS pada konteks pengelolaan dana desa dengan mengombinasikan variabel akuntabilitas, transparansi pengelolaan dana desa, partisipasi masyarakat, dan kompetensi yang masih relatif terbatas dikaji dalam penelitian sektor publik di tingkat desa.

Abstract

Pembelajaran di era revolusi 4.0 menuntut kompetensi pendidik yang dapat menguasai teknologi dan pemanfaatannya dalam proses belajar mengajar. Teknologi dalam proses belajar mengajar dapat membantu memvisualisasikan materi serta mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. TPACK (Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge) merupakan sebuah kerangka kerja dalam mendesain model pembelajaran baru dengan menggabungkan tiga aspek utama yaitu teknologi, pedagogi, dan konten (materi pengetahuan). Pengembangan bahan ajar dengan mengintegrasikan materi, model pembelajaran, dan teknologi menjadi kompetensi yang penting dikuasai oleh pendidik sebagai upaya adaptasi terhadap perkembangan revolusi industri 4.0. Bahan ajar perlu diintegrasikan dengan model pembelajaran tertentu sebagai basis kegiatan siswa. Model pembelajaran guided inquiry menjadi salah satu model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan ruh pendekatan saintifik. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal dan beberapa penelitian terdahulu, masih belum banyak guru yang mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis guided inquiry–TPACK. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dengan mengadakan pelatihan tentang pengembangan modul ajar berbasis guided inquiry-TPACK. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 16 sampai dengan 19 Juli 2022 dengan peserta sebanyak 21 orang dari berbagai instansi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara daring synchronous melalui zoom untuk penyampaian materi dan secara asynchronous melalui Schoology untuk kegiatan praktik penyusunan bahan ajar. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah dokumen bahan ajar elektronik yang disusun oleh peserta pelatihan dengan mengintegrasikan TPACK dan kegiatan pembelajarannya berbasis guided inquiry. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi pengembangan kompetensi pedagogi guru.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The selection of a college major is a crucial decision for high school students and often causes anxiety due to limited self understanding and lack of information about study programs. This community service activity aims to design and implement a web based expert system at SMAN 6 Kabupaten Tangerang to help students choose majors that match their interests, talents, and academic abilities. The implementation method includes needs analysis, system design using the Forward Chaining method, socialization, and training on system usage for students and guidance counseling teachers. The results show that the expert system is able to provide accurate recommendations based on user input. Evaluation through questionnaires indicates an 85 percent increase in students’ understanding in determining their academic career choices.   Keywords: Expert System, Major Recommendation, Web, Community Service, SMAN 6 Kabupaten Tangerang.

Abstract

Scientific Thinking merupakan fondasi penting bagi perkembangan kognitif dan literasi sains anak usia dini, namun pembelajarannya di PAUD belum sepenuhnya berbasis kerangka perkembangan dan bukti empiris. Artikel ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi konsep, komponen, tahapan, serta strategi pengembangan Scientific Thinking melalui kajian literatur. Metode yang digunakan adalah narrative literature review terhadap artikel nasional dan internasional sepuluh tahun terakhir dari Google Scholar, ERIC, dan ScienceDirect. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Scientific Thinking mencakup kemampuan mengamati, bertanya, menalar, menguji dugaan, dan mengomunikasikan temuan. Pembelajaran inkuiri, permainan sains, eksperimen sederhana, dan pendekatan STEAM efektif menstimulasi berpikir ilmiah anak. Disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan Scientific Thinking menuntut pembelajaran kontekstual dengan guru sebagai fasilitator aktif. Implikasinya, guru perlu merancang aktivitas eksploratif, lembaga PAUD menyediakan lingkungan kondusif, dan kebijakan kurikulum menguatkan pendekatan inkuiri sejak dini.
