Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of digital banking transformation on the demand for frontliners at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KCP Padang Bulan using a mixed methods approach. Quantitatively, data were collected through questionnaires from 112 respondents and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and simple linear regression in SPSS 20.0. Qualitatively, a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted on relevant studies from 2018–2024 to identify trends and patterns in the shift of frontliner roles. The results show that digital banking significantly affects the demand for frontliners, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 23.4% and a positive regression coefficient (B = 0.218). While digitalization reduces routine transactional tasks typically handled by frontliners, it simultaneously redefine their roles into more strategic, consultative, and digital-support functions. The findings indicate that frontliners are still needed, but with new competencies, especially in digital literacy and customer engagement. This implies that Islamic banking institutions must reorient their human resource strategies to sustain relevance in the digital era

Abstract

Islamic finance is a global phenomenon that has penetrated various countries, both Muslim-majority countries and non-Muslim-majority countries. The inclusive character of Islamic finance makes it very possible for it to be accepted in various regions. This paper focuses on three countries in Southeast Asia, namely Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. The aim of this writing is to understand the latest developments in Islamic finance in these three countries from inclusive financial perspective. This community service paper approach uses literature study. The paper results show that Islamic finance in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand shows different degrees. Malaysia can be said to be a leader in the Islamic finance sector not only in Asia but also at the world level. Indonesia shows a strong target to become the world's halal center. Meanwhile, Thailand also does not want to be left behind, especially developing Islamic social finance apart from focusing on the halal tourism industry.

Abstract

This study analyzed the influence of workload and work environment on work stress with incentives as a moderating variable among employees of Bakso Bagito in Serbelawan City. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory design and saturated sampling technique on the entire population of 38 employees. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The research results show that workload has a positive and significant effect on work stress, while the work environment has a negative but not significant effect. Incentives have been proven to moderate the relationship between workload and work stress, but in a positive direction, thus reinforcing the effect of workload on stress. The Adjusted R-Square value of 0.874 indicates that the independent variables are able to explain the variability of work stress substantially. These findings affirm that workload is a dominant factor affecting work stress, while the role of incentives is complex as they can increase psychological pressure if target-based.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the stages of the supply chain process involved in distributing 3 kg LPG gas at the UD distribution center in Karo Regency, as well as to identify the causes of delays in delivery and reductions in the quantity of goods requested by retailers at the distribution center. Fitri in Karo Regency, as well as to identify the causes of delivery delays and reductions in the quantity of goods requested by retailers at the distribution center. The method used in this study is a qualitative survey analysis, conducted through Lean Search, based on direct observation at the LPG gas distribution center. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation conducted directly at the gas distribution center. The results of the study indicate that the 3 kg LPG gas distribution center is located at UD. Fitri in Karo Regency has three supply chain flows: product flow, information flow, and financial flow. Delays in the delivery of goods from the distribution center to retailers are caused by transportation limitations of the distribution center, which cannot transport large quantities of LPG gas to multiple retailers at once, as well as transportation issues such as flat tires and the distance between the distribution center and retailers, and unexpected road conditions that occasionally cause traffic congestion, leading to delays in goods delivery. Additionally, discrepancies between the quantities ordered by retailers and those delivered by the distribution center are caused by the limited supply available at the distribution center, which must allocate the available LPG gas among multiple retailers. Based on the analysis conducted by the author, the LPG distribution center UD. Fitri should establish and implement a scheduling system for retailers by dividing days and times for placing LPG gas orders. Additionally, the distribution center should consider the distance traveled for deliveries to retailers to minimize the risk of delivery delays. It should also calculate distribution costs for deliveries to retailers by avoiding and reducing excessively long distances, thereby saving on distribution costs in the event of fuel price increases while maintaining an efficient distribution process.

From the results of the study, it is known that there are still many obstacles in Kepul in becoming an intermediary container for waste utilization in Medan City such as lack of strong branding, fleet problems, and price difference problems with conventional collectors. But this obstacle is not an impossible obstacle to pass, with the successful collaboration of Kepul with the Medan City Government and plans to attract more investors, Kepul believes that all the obstacles above can be passed well.
