Abstract

As a tropical country and elongated on the equator, Indonesia greatly benefits from high exposure to sunlight irradiation. This energy can be harvested and used as a substitute for fossil energy which produces a lot of pollution. Unfortunately, this technology is not yet known to many people, including STEM teachers, how to implement it. Schools have a double advantage if they use solar energy because they have a large area and are active when there is exposure to sunlight. This article describes training activities for five MIPA teachers at SMA Kristen I Salatiga. This is a form of disseminating the knowledge possessed by the SWCU Electronics and Computer Engineering Faculty instructors. From the average questionnaire result of 4.76, it can be concluded that they got new knowledge and also stated that solar energy mining is actually quite easy to implement in schools.

Abstract

Therefore, attention to the improvement of teacher performance becomes important and becomes a necessity. Especially with the various developments of science and technology today, then a teacher is required to be able to adapt himself so that knowledge and skills given to students are not left behind by the development of science itself.       The study aimed to find out: (1) the relationship between the empowerment of subject teachers and teacher performance,   (2)  the relationship between achievement motivation and the performance of teacher teachers, and (3) the relationship between empowerment of teacher meetings. The population of this research is all teachers of Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Darul Arafah Deli Serdang are 54 people.  The entire population is used as the research sample. The test requirement is done to test normality, linearity, and independence among independent variables. The data analysis technique used correlation and regression and simple correlation and regression and multiple correlation at significance level  = 0,05.

Abstract

AbstractPolitical developments in Indonesia since the old era (orde lama), the new era (orde baru) until the reform era (pasca-orde baru/reformasi) that occurred in Indonesia is a long history that has implications for various fields of life, including in the field of Islamic education. The political policies that emerged in these various orders certainly greatly influenced the existing policies in Islamic education. This research is library research by reviewing the literature that is in accordance with the topic of the development of Islamic politics in Indonesia and its relation to Islamic education. The results of this discussion include the gap between Islamic education and general education, policies on the legality of Islamic Education in the National Education System, and the portion of Islamic education learning in general education institutions.

Abstract

The reactivation plan of the Madiun-Slahung railway line in the National Railway Master Plan is the main program for the development of the railway network and service stage IV in 2026-2030, therefore it is necessary to conduct research on the demand for traction and generation as well as passenger interest in the future Madiun- This shelters are reactivated. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion of the calculation of the Madiun-Slahung area, it can be concluded that the model of the reactivation area of the Madiun-Slahung railway covers 7 districts, consisting of 45 sub-districts/villages. The method used is a household survey (Household Interview) which is intended to produce data on travel patterns and characteristics that affect the trip. The number of trip generation occurs in the range of numbers 6939-22594 motorbikes/hour for trip production and 1123-52265 motorbikes/hour for trip attraction, where zone 2, Kartoharjo sub-district has the largest number of trip production and zone 4, Ponorogo sub-district has the largest number of trip attractions. This is due to the high population, number of vehicle ownership and the strength of attraction due to the large number of shops and campuses and schools in the zone. The largest travel distribution value occurs in zone 4, because the zone is land use for shops, offices, campuses and schools.

Abstract

This research investigates how the leadership style of school principals, teacher commitment, and the organizational culture affect teacher discipline in Public Elementary Schools in the Banyumas District, Pringsewu Regency. The study uses a quantitative approach and includes 122 public elementary school teachers as participants. Data was collected through questionnaires, and analysis involved regression tests to assess normality, heteroskedasticity, multicollinearity, and data linearity. The findings show that both transformational leadership of the school principal and organizational culture have a positive and significant impact on teacher discipline. Moreover, when combined, these factors also positively and significantly influence teacher discipline.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian adalah rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis adanya pengaruh dan perbedaan yang signifikan pada penggunaan model pembelajaran teams games tournament berbantuan media visual word search puzzle terhadap hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu non-equivalent control group design.Sampel dalam penelitian peserta didik kelas V dengan jumlah 17 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa fhitung=15,66 ≥ ftabel=4,54. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran teams games tournament berbantuan media visual word search puzzle terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

Pandemi Coronavirus Disease (covid-19) memberikan dampak perubahan terhadap seluruh bidang kehidupan. Salah satu bidang yang mengalami dampak perubahan yang cukup signifikan adalah dunia pendidikan. Dalam rangka mencegah penyebaran virus covid-19 ini, proses pembelajaran yang awalnya berupa tatap muka tidak dapat dilaksanakan dan diganti menjadi pembelajaran daring (online). Pembelajaran ini perlu didukung dengan ketersediaan sumber pembelajaran bagi peserta didik, termasuk perpustakaan digital. Perpustakaan digital merupakan sebuah kumpulan informasi dan layanan dapat diakses dalam format digital. Hal ini berarti sebuah konsep perpustakaan yang memungkinkan akses jarak jauh dengan konten yang dapat diakses bebas tanpa dibatasi oleh ruang dan waktu. Universitas Mikroskil juga memiliki perpustakaan yang juga dilengkapi dengan dukungan teknologi berupa perpustakaan digital. Melalui perpustakaan digital, kegiatan transaksi untuk pengelolaan buku perpustakan juga telah dapat dilakukan. Informasi dan koleksi yang ada pada perpustakaan juga telah diupayakan untuk dapat diakses oleh para sivitas akademik melalui perpustakaan digital yang berbasis website. Agar perpustakaan digital dapat digunakan dan diterima oleh penggunanya, tentu perpustakaan digital harus memiliki usability yang baik. Evaluasi usability pada perpustakaan digital perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui seberapa sesuai dan tepat dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan survei dari pengguna perpustakaan digital akademik Mikroskil yaitu mahasiswa Universitas Mikroskil. Metode yang akan digunakan adalah Website Usability Evaluation tools (Webuse). Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan yang lebih baik bagi pengembang website perpustakaan digital akademik Mikroskil.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and to examine the influent of visionary leadership and total quality management through organizational culture on the competitive advantage of education quality at Private Islamic Junior High Schools (MTs.) in Pringsewu Regency, Lampung. This research includes quantitative research of the ex-post facto type with a sample of 205 teachers through proportional random sampling. The data collection through documentations and questionnaires, then the results were analyzed by using correlational research methods through regression analysis, path analysis, and Sobel test. The results showed that both directly and indirectly, the variable: visionary leadership, total quality management, and organizational culture partially and simultaneously have the positives and the significant influents on competitive advantage. In percentage terms, competitive advantage is influenced by: visionary leadership is 34.2%, total quality management is 48.8%, organizational culture is 79.8%, and of the three variables are 91.2%, if visionary leadership, total quality management, and organizational culture increase, so that the competitive advantage will also increase.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the impact of principal leadership, work motivation, and work discipline on the performance of educational staff in state junior high schools within Tulang Bawang Regency. The research employs an ex post facto quantitative approach with a population of 153 educational staff members. Through proportional random sampling, 111 participants were selected for the study. Data collection involved the use of questionnaires, and subsequent analysis included prerequisite regression tests such as normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and linearity. The findings reveal noteworthy outcomes: (1) Principal leadership significantly and positively influences the performance of educational staff. (2) Work motivation exhibits a positive and significant impact on the performance of educational staff. (3) Work discipline similarly demonstrates a positive and significant influence on educational staff performance. (4) Simultaneously, principal leadership, work motivation, and work discipline collectively exert a positive and significant influence on the performance of educational staff. This research contributes valuable insights to educational management literature by establishing the crucial role of leadership, motivation, and discipline in enhancing the performance of educational staff. Based on these findings, recommendations are made for educational institutions to focus on strengthening these factors to optimize staff performance, ultimately improving overall educational quality.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of academic supervision by the school principal and work motivation on teachers' professionalism. Employing a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design, the research encompasses all junior high school teachers in South Lampung Regency. A sample of 130 teachers was obtained through simple random sampling. Data collection involved distributing questionnaires, and the analysis used simple linear regression. The findings reveal that both academic supervision by the school principal and work motivation have a positive and significant impact on teachers' professionalism. Specifically, in State Junior High Islamic Schools in South Lampung Regency, increased academic supervision by the head of the madrasah correlates with higher levels of teachers' professionalism. Similarly, increased work motivation corresponds with enhanced teacher professionalism. Therefore, the study recommends that school principals enhance the quality of academic supervision and foster greater work motivation among teachers to achieve higher professionalism.
