Abstract

History learning in elementary schools tends to be informative and memorization-oriented, making it less contextual and meaningful for students. This study aims to analyze the cultural values, symbolic meanings, and pedagogical potential of the Putri Pukes legend as a local history learning resource. Employing a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, the research was conducted at SD Negeri 9 Lut Tawar, involving sixth-grade students as subjects. Data were collected through documentary study and literature review of the Putri Pukes legend text and relevant scholarly sources, then analyzed using content analysis techniques through the stages of reduction, categorization, and interpretation. The findings show that the Putri Pukes legend contains cultural values reflecting the life of the Gayo people such as obedience to parents, responsibility, patience, sacrifice, and the relationship between humans and nature while also carrying symbolic meanings that represent collective memory and the community's interpretation of the past. Pedagogically, the legend has the potential to serve as a local history learning resource that helps students understand historical material more contextually and develops their historical empathy and imagination. Accordingly, the Putri Pukes legend functions not only as cultural heritage but also as a relevant learning medium for history education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the conceptual framework of smart education management through the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital leadership in driving institutional innovation. The study employs a qualitative approach using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, synthesizing five key studies related to AI readiness, digital leadership, human resource capacity, and the challenges of digital transformation in education. The findings indicate that the success of digital education transformation is determined not only by technology adoption but also by the alignment between organizational readiness, leadership capacity, and human resource development. AI serves as an enabler, while digital leadership functions as a strategic driver that directs the utilization of technology toward meaningful institutional change. Furthermore, human resource capacity particularly teachers’ digital competencies is a key factor in ensuring effective technology implementation, while challenges such as infrastructure limitations and organizational resistance influence the transformation process. This study produces a conceptual framework that positions institutional innovation as the result of a dynamic interaction among these variables. Theoretically, this study integrates perspectives on transformational, instructional, distributed, and adaptive leadership to understand smart educational management. Practically, the study’s findings emphasize the importance of developing adaptive, collaborative, and data-driven leadership models to support sustainable educational innovation in the era of artificial intelligence

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran teknologi digital dalam penguatan manajemen pendidikan berbasis budaya lokal di sekolah menengah, khususnya pada konteks daerah tertinggal. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) yang mengacu pada pedoman PRISMA. Data diperoleh dari berbagai database ilmiah, yaitu Scopus, Google Scholar, dan Web of Science, dengan rentang publikasi tahun 2015–2025. Proses seleksi menghasilkan 10 artikel utama yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi digital berperan signifikan dalam meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen pendidikan melalui penguatan fungsi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan berbasis data. Pada saat yang sama, budaya lokal berfungsi sebagai fondasi nilai dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik serta meningkatkan relevansi pendidikan dengan konteks sosial masyarakat. Meskipun demikian, integrasi antara teknologi digital dan budaya lokal masih terbatas dan belum terstruktur secara sistematis dalam praktik manajemen pendidikan, khususnya di daerah tertinggal yang menghadapi keterbatasan infrastruktur dan sumber daya manusia. Penelitian ini menawarkan model manajemen pendidikan integratif berbasis teknologi digital dan budaya lokal sebagai solusi konseptual untuk menjembatani kesenjangan tersebut. Model ini menekankan pentingnya penguatan literasi digital, integrasi nilai budaya lokal dalam sistem manajemen sekolah, serta pengembangan kepemimpinan adaptif

Abstract

This study examines the increasing phenomenon of divorce filings among teachers employed under the Government Employees with Employment Agreements (PPPK) scheme in Blitar Regency. The issue has generated social, moral, and religious concerns, particularly due to work placement policies that often separate spouses and potentially weaken family resilience. Existing studies predominantly focus on administrative and employment aspects of PPPK policies, while limited attention has been given to their implications for family welfare and the objectives of Maqasid al-Shari‘ah. This research employs a qualitative method with a normative-literature approach, analyzing maslahah mursalah in Islamic law, scholarly works, statutory regulations, and relevant media reports. The findings indicate that although divorce is legally permissible in Islam, the growing number of marital dissolutions associated with bureaucratic and placement-related pressures reflects insufficient consideration of public welfare and family protection. From the perspective of maslahah mursalah, public policies should not only pursue administrative efficiency but also safeguard family stability as a fundamental social institution. The study concludes that PPPK placement policies require greater integration of family-oriented considerations and that strengthening family resilience programs is necessary to minimize the risk of household disintegration and promote socially responsible governance.
