Abstract

This research aims to describe the mapping analysis of the quality of education at SMP Negeri 3 Boja, Kendal Regency. The research approach used is qualitative. This type of research is a case study. This research uses triangulation of sources and methods. Data analysis in three steps: data reduction, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that: Mapping the education report card of SMP Negeri 3 Boja, it can be concluded that this school has several strengths that can be the basis for improving the quality of education, such as a high student graduation rate, basic competencies that have been mastered by the majority of students, as well as active participation in learning. However, there are also several weaknesses that need attention, such as disparities in learning outcomes in several subjects, limited infrastructure, and the need to increase teacher competency to support innovative learning. For this reason, data-based strategic steps are needed, such as developing remedial programs, increasing training for teachers, and optimizing the use of technology in learning.

Abstract

: yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan pelatihan, tahap implementasi dan tahap evaluasi dan pendampingan. Hasil: para guru menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan dalam merancang dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis AI, serta memiliki motivasi yang lebih tinggi untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi ini ke dalam proses belajar mengajar di sekolah. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran serta mendukung transformasi digital di lingkungan SDN Pandean Lamper 01 Semarang.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy is a fundamental competency in primary education, enabling students to apply mathematical concepts in daily life and to think critically in problem solving. However, many elementary school students still face challenges in achieving adequate proficiency. This study aims to examine the role of teachers as coaches in developing students’ numeracy literacy skills at SD Negeri Sambiroto, Rembang. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were gathered through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation, involving teachers, students, and school administrators. The findings indicate that teachers enact their coaching role through four interrelated strategies: creating a numeracy rich learning environment, facilitating contextual and meaningful instruction, designing structured and differentiated practice activities, and implementing formative and reflective assessments. These strategies form an integrated cycle that fosters active engagement, critical thinking, and the application of mathematics in authentic contexts. Teachers incorporate numeracy into daily routines, employ manipulative tools, adapt learning activities to varied student levels, and maintain learning portfolios to monitor progress. The study concludes that the teacher as coach model significantly enhances numeracy development, highlighting the importance of sustained teacher professional growth and strong leadership support in primary education.

Abstract

Teacher professional competence is a key determinant of education quality, yet many schools struggle to meet established competency standards. At SD Negeri 1 Kalipang, Rembang, aspects such as lesson planning, teaching strategies, and classroom management remain below expected benchmarks. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of clinical supervision in enhancing teachers’ professional competence. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving the principal and selected teachers. The supervision process was implemented in three structured stages: pre-observation meeting, classroom observation, and post-observation reflection. Findings reveal that clinical supervision, when applied in a dialogic, collaborative, and supportive manner, significantly improved teachers’ instructional planning, pedagogical strategies, and classroom management. Teachers reported increased motivation, stronger professional responsibility, and enhanced reflective practice through constructive feedback and collegial dialogue. Moreover, the process fostered a culture of continuous learning and peer collaboration within the school. The study concludes that clinical supervision serves not only as a developmental tool but also as a catalyst for sustainable professional growth, contingent on effective leadership and institutional commitment.

Abstract

Quality education in elementary schools is closely tied to teachers’ pedagogical competence, which strongly influences student learning outcomes. In Indonesia, the improvement of this competence is mandated by Law No. 14/2005 on Teachers and Lecturers. As instructional leaders, school principals hold a strategic role in fostering teacher development through effective academic supervision. This study aims to examine the principal’s role at state elementary school 1 Pamotan, Rembang Regency, in enhancing teachers’ pedagogical competence. A qualitative case study design was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. Thematic analysis was used to explore supervisory practices and their impact on teacher performance. The findings indicate that the principal applied a structured and collaborative supervision process, comprising planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation. However, limited integration of educational technology and innovative teaching strategies was observed, reducing the overall effectiveness in improving learning outcomes. The study concludes that systematic supervision, supported by technology integration, innovation, continuous professional development, and structured feedback, is essential for strengthening teachers’ pedagogical competence and improving instructional quality.

Abstract

Improving learning quality in secondary education requires the integration of multiple factors, including school leadership, teacher competence, and organizational culture. In non-urban areas such as Rembang District, public junior high schools often face challenges in maximizing these aspects to achieve effective teaching and learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the influence of principal instructional leadership, teachers’ pedagogical competence, and school quality culture on learning quality in public junior high schools in Rembang District. Using a quantitative survey approach, data were collected from 145 teachers through a validated and reliable Likert-scale questionnaire, and analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression techniques. The results indicate that all three variables have a positive and significant effect on learning quality, both individually and collectively, with school quality culture being the most dominant factor. Together, the variables explain 94.4% of the variance in learning quality. These findings underscore the importance of synergy among leadership, competence, and culture in improving learning outcomes and provide strategic insights for school-based policy development.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of principal supervision and work motivation on teachers’ work discipline at public vocational high schools  in Batang Regency. Employing a quantitative approach with a correlational design, the research involved 159 teachers selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using validated and reliable Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed through descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and simple and multiple linear regression analyses. The findings indicate that principal supervision significantly influences teachers’ work discipline, contributing 95.4% to the variance, with follow-up academic supervision being the most dominant dimension. Work motivation also shows a significant influence, contributing 95.8%, where internal motivation emerges as the primary factor. Simultaneously, principal supervision and work motivation contribute 95.8% to teachers’ work discipline, with time discipline as the leading dimension. This research offers novelty by mapping the contribution of each dimension of the studied variables in a specific context rarely explored quantitatively. The study is limited to public vocational schools within one district and relies on self-reported data, which may involve subjectivity. Future research is recommended to expand the scope, apply mixed-methods designs, and include mediating or moderating variables such as transformational leadership or school culture to gain deeper insights.

Abstract

Penelitian dengan tema Peningkatan Kualitas Pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan melalui PraktikBelajar Kewarganegaraan (Project Citizen) ini dilatarbelakangi adanya kenyataannya bahwa masalah yangdihadapi dunia pendidikan kita adalah masalah lemahnya proses pembelajaran, khususnya pada mata pelajaranPendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn). Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah ?óÔé¼?ôApakah dengan Praktik BelajarKewarganegaraan (Project Citizen), dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan??óÔé¼?Ø.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah dengan Project Citizen, dapat meningkatkan kualitaspembelajaran PKn. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3Semarang, dengan variabel input: kualitas pembelajaran sebelum menggunakan model Project Citizen; variabelproses: kegiatan penerapan model Project Citizen; dan variabel output: kualitas setelah menggunakan modelpembelajaran Project Citizen. Metode pengumpulan data : observasi, tes, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis datadengan pendekatan kualitatif dan teknik deskriptif prosentase.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Project Citizen dapat meningkatkan kualitaspembelajaran PKn di Kelas VIII D SMP Negeri 3 Semarang. Kualitas pembelajaran PKn sebelum penggunaanmodel pembelajaran Project Citizen yaitu 52 % (kurang baik), namun setelah penggunaan model pembelajaranProject Citizen meningkat menjadi 81 % (sangat baik). Kesimpulan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaranProject Citizen dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 3 Semarang dengan rata-ratapeningkatan kualitas pembelajaran sebesar 29 %, namun masih ada kendala dan hambatan antara lainketerbatasan waktu, minimnya biaya serta keterbatasan tenaga pengajar dan siswa. Saran untuk guru PKn SMPNegeri 3 Semarang hendaknya menerapkan model pembelajaran Project Citizen dengan memperhatikan danmenyesuaikan kondisi, sarana prasarana dan fasilitas yang ada, serta diharapkan mampu memberi solusi dalammengatasi kekurangan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal.Kata Kunci: Kualitas Pembelajaran, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, Project Citizen

Abstract

Pada prinsip pengelolaannya, baik sekolah maupun perguruan tinggi sama-sama membutuhkan penjaminanmutu sebagai tolok ukur untuk menilai keberhasilan atau kegagalannya. Lembaga pendidikan yang bermutu dapatterwujud apabila didukung oleh pemimpin yang paham tentang manajemen karena salah satu aspek terpentingmempengaruhi kualitas pendidikan adalah kepemimpinan dan manajemen mutu.Kepemimpinan itu adalah suatu proses mempengaruhi kegiatan seseorang atau kelompok dalam situasi tertentuuntuk tujuan bersama. Artinya terjadi proses interaksi antara pemimpin, yang dipimpin, dan situasi. Kepemimpinanseyogianya melekat pada diri pemimpin dalam wujud kepribadian (personality), kemampuan (ability), dankesanggupan (capability) guna mewujudkan kepemimpinan bermutu atau Total Quality Management (TQM).Secara umum dapat dinyatakan bahwa kunci mutu pendidikan nasional terletak pada mutu pendidikan(sekolah) dan kunci mutu sekolah terletak pada mutu kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas. Mutu kegiatan belajarmengajar pada akhirnya diukur dari mutu hasil belajar yang dicapai siswa. Peningkatan kualitas belajar siswamerupakan sebuah upaya kolektif dan tanggung jawab bersama dari semua komponen yang ada di sekolah dimanadalam pencapaiannya diperlukan kemampuan, kemauan, dan komitmen yang tinggi.Kepala sekolah sebagai pimpinan sekolah memiliki tanggung jawab yang tinggi dan penuh, secara langsung dalammembangun komitmen dan bekerja sama dengan semua komponen-komponen di sekolah dalam upayapengembangan mutu pendidikan tersebut. Kepala Sekolah sebagai pemimpin mempunyai potensi menciptakan visidan menterjemahkannya kedalam kenyataan serta berperan sebagai kekuatan sentral dalam menggerakkankehidupan sekolah, juga memahami tugas dan fungsi dalam mengembangkan mutu pendidikan.Upaya untuk mewujudkan kepala sekolah yang handal dan berkualitas, seyogyanya dapat dilakukan pengelolaantenaga kependidikan dengan penerapan prinsip ?óÔé¼ÔÇ£ prinsip manajemen sumber daya manusia (Human ResourceManagement), dengan harapan akan dapat meningkatkan mutu pendidikan.Kata kunci : Kepemimpinan, Mutu Pendidikan, Kepala Sekolah.

Abstract

Untuk mencapai tujuan yang dikehendaki, kurikulum harus dikelola secara kooperatif, komprehensif, sistemik dan sistematik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model pengelolaan kurikulum pendidikan karakter integratif Progdi PPKn FPIPSKR UPGRIS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian awal, yakni untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang pengelolaan kurikulum pendidikan karakter integratif Progdi PPKn FPIPSKR UPGRIS, sehingga menggunakan metode kualitatif. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumen. Teknik analisa menggunakan tahapan menurut Spreadley dan teknik validitas data menggunakan teknik triagulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum Progdi PPKn FPIPSKR UPGRIS sudah mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter, tetapi hal tersebut belum nampak pada silabus, RPP, kontrak perkuliahan maupun pelaksanaan KBM di kelas. Untuk itu diperlukan cara mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter pada kurikulum?é?á progdi PPKn FPIPSKR Universitas PGRI Semarang. Hal yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan cara mengembangkan model pengelolaan kurikulum pendidikan karakter intergratif. Kata kunci: Model, Pengelolaan Kurikulum, Pendidikan Karakter Integratif
