Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve teacher’s skills in writing narrative essays in class VII of MTsN 4 West Aceh. The design of this study used classroom action research with the stages of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were teachers and students of class VII of MTsN 4 West Aceh. The data collection techniques used were tests, documentation, observations, and field notes. This research used qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that there was an improvement in teacher’s skills, students’ activity, and narrative essay writing skills. Teacher’s skills in cycle I was 81.25% with good criteria (B) and it increased into 97% in cycle II with very good criteria (A). Students’ activity in cycle I was 69% with good criteria (B) and it reached 89% in cycle II with very good criteria (A). The Completeness of students’ learning outcomes in cycle I was 78.37%, and it reached 100% in cycle II.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students’ achievement in understanding and creating fantasy stories through project-based learning in Class VIIC of MTsN 1 West Aceh. The method used in this study was Action Research which consisted of 2 (two) cycles, and each cycle consisted of: Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection. Based on the results of this action research, it was found that Project Based Learning can Improve students’ achievement in Understanding the Materials and Creating Fantasy Stories in Class VIIC of MTsN 1 West Aceh. Furthermore, the researcher recommends: (1) For teachers who have the same difficulties, they can apply Project Based Learning to improve the students’ achievement. (2) In order to get maximum results, it is hoped that teachers will make Project Based Learning more interesting and varied.

Abstract

Implementing learning by utilizing digital can be a solution for foreign language teachers in the era of Society 5.0 to improve students’ language skills at school, especially with the implementation of the independent learning curriculum; students are expected to be more active, creative, and innovative in class. However, problems often occur with students’ foreign language skills in its implementation. This happens because of various obstacles, including teachers who still use the lecture method in learning, so students’ interests and understanding are small. This is caused by presenting material that does not attract students’ interest. This research used a qualitative descriptive method and developed the ADDIE model: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research aims to determine learning methods using ADDIE-based learning, as well as the effectiveness of their use in foreign language learning. The research results show that: 1) The design of the ADDIE model was carried out as follows: a. analysis stage, b. material, strategy, and media design stage, c. development stage, d. implementation design stage in e-learning learning situations and e. trial and error validation by experts, 2) The results of the validity of the learning planning design based on the material validator obtained good results, namely with a score of 70% with good criteria and the media validator obtained 80% results in the very good category, and 3) The results of student responses with very good answers on media design reached 88%. So, this method is very useful for students in improving their foreign language skills.

Abstract

Pembelajaran secara daring merupakan salah satu kebutuhan bagi institusi dan lembaga pendidikan saat ini. Pada kelas praktikum secara daring, biasanya pengajar memerlukan seseorang untuk mengontrol dan mengarahkan kamera agar pelajar tetap dapat menjangkau materi dari alat yang dipraktikkan. Pada penelitian ini akan dibangun sebuah aplikasi berbasis web sebagai alat teleconference, berbeda dengan platform teleconference yang sudah ada saat ini, aplikasi web ini dibuat dengan mengutamakan fitur yang dapat mengontrol arah atau gerak (motion) dari kamera secara real-time menggunakan IP kamera dan berkomunikasi dua arah melalui input-output audio secara real-time. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui waktu respon komunikasi audio dan perbandingan performa fitur streaming video, dan gerak IP kamera ketika djalankan pada kondisi online dan lokal menggunakan metode QoS (Quality of Service). Berdasarkan analisis data yang di peroleh dari hasil pengujian untuk komunikasi audio dikategorikan baik dengan rata-rata pengujian throughput memiliki nilai 2.578 kbps, packet loss senilai 0,291%, delay 9,295 ms, dan jitter 8,603 ms. Hasil pengujian untuk fitur streaming data video dan gerak IP kamera dengan dua percobaan pada masing-masing kondisi local dan online menunjukkan bahwa kondisi lokal cenderung memberikan kinerja yang lebih baik dalam throughput, packet loss, delay, dan jitter dibandingkan dengan kondisi online. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam pengujian ini, penggunaan IP kamera dalam aplikasi web telekonferensi mengalami peningkatan kualitas ketika beroperasi dalam jaringan lokal.

Abstract

This is the problem that is often overlooked by teachers who do not prepare penjasorkes learning model, causing learners are not interested in following numbers athletics javelin learning and learners will feel bored. One model of learning that can stimulate learners to participate actively in the learning process is learning models athletics javelin numbers game form. Purpose of research to the development of learning models athletics javelin number of the games for elementary school students. This type of research is the development of research. The research subject of sixth grade students of State Elementary School 8 Banda Aceh totaling 23. The instrument used in the research instrument to validate the model development. Data collection was conducted validation and reliability. The results of this study concluded that: The athletic learning model number of javelin form games for elementary school students consisting of 14 statements can be included in the learning because it has a high level of validity with the acquisition of validity score of 0.649 so that it can be used for athletic learning model javelin number game form for elementary school students and Has a level of reliability with the reliability score of 0.624 that can be used on the number of javelin shapes game play Primary School students

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the effect of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) on the performance of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a mediating variable. Methodology/approach: Using panel data regression and Baron & Kenny’s (1986) mediation analysis, this study analyzed 80 firm-year observations from 2019–2023. ERM was measured based on six criteria adapted from Florio & Leoni (2017). CSR was proxied by ESG scores published by IDX, while firm performance was assessed using Return on Assets (ROA) and Tobin’s Q. Data were processed using EViews 12. Results/findings: ERM positively and significantly affects both ROA and Tobin’s Q, indicating that effective risk management enhances firm profitability and market value. However, ERM does not significantly influence CSR, and CSR negatively affects ROA and has no significant effect on Tobin’s Q. Thus, CSR does not mediate the relationship between ERM and firm performance. Conclusions: ERM improves firm performance, but has no effect on CSR. CSR does not enhance performance and fails to mediate the ERM–performance relationship. Limitations: The study does not incorporate control variables such as firm size or leverage. CSR is measured solely using ESG scores, which may not fully reflect CSR implementation. Contribution: This research contributes to the understanding of ERM’s direct impact on firm performance in emerging markets. It highlights the need for better integration between risk management and CSR strategies to generate financial and reputational benefits.

Abstract

Transformasi UMKM menuju entitas yang lebih modern, inovatif, dan kompetitif tidak bisa ditunda lagi. Penguatan ini harus dilakukan secara menyeluruh dan sistematis, meliputi pengembangan kompetensi sumber daya manusia, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, serta peningkatan jaringan kerja sama dan kolaborasi antar pelaku usaha. Menyadari pentingnya penguatan UMKM bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional dan juga tentunya bagi penyerapan tenaga kerja, yang kemudian dapat berdampak positif pada ketahanan nasional dan penciptaan lapangan pekerjaan, sehingga diadakan seminar nasional pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang akan secara komprehensif membahas upaya meningkatkan kinerja UMKM melalui kompetensi sumber daya manusia, adopsi teknologi dan kolaborasi. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah bahwa penguatan UMKM dinilai sangat perlu, karena UMKM merupakan tulang punggung perekonomian nasional. UMKM juga berkontribusi bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional dan menyediakan lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat Indonesia, oleh karenanya upaya untuk memperkuat kompetensi sumber daya manusia, seperti pelatihan dan sertifikasi, serta literasi teknologi dan dukungan modal dari pemerintah dalam proses adopsi dan implementasi teknologi guna meningkatkan produktvitas UMKM adalah sangat diperlukan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Islamic education begins with the sending of Muhammad as a prophet and apostle. The first revelation event in Hira Cave involved 3 important interrelated elements, namely the Prophet Muhammad, the revelation or message, and the Angel Gabriel AS. These three elements in the world of education can be understood as the relationship between students, materials, and teachers. The purpose of this paper is to examine the educational aspect in the first revelation (Q.S. al-'Alaq: 1-5), the research method is a library research method. The results of the study illustrate that education can be successful if in the process it cannot be separated from the attitude of the soul -especially for a teacher- who is always connected to God.KEYWORDS: Islamic Education; Revelation; Teacher. ABSTRAK: Pendidikan Islam dimulai dengan diutusnya Muhammad sebagai seorang nabi dan rasul. Peristiwa wahyu pertama di Gua Hira melibatkan 3 unsur penting yang saling terkait, yaitu Nabi Muhammad saw, wahyu atau pesan, dan Malaikat Jibril as. Ketiga unsur tersebut dalam dunia pendidikan dapat dipahami sebagai relasi antara murid, materi, dan guru. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah mengkaji aspek pendidikan dalam wahyu pertama (Q.S. al-‘Alaq: 1-5), metode penelitian adalah metode penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa pendidikan dapat berhasil jika dalam prosesnya tidak terlepas dari sikap jiwa -terutama bagi seorang guru- yang senantiasa terhubung dengan Tuhan.KATA KUNCI: Pendidikan Islam; Wahyu; Guru.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has co-existed alongside a far less visible “shadow pandemic” of violence against women, with COVID-19 impacting the number and complexity of domestic violence cases and enabling new tactics for coercive control. This article provides a preliminary assessment of the extent to which Canada’s responses to the COVID-19 pandemic have prioritized the safety of women and children, with a focus on the courts and women’s access to justice. We examine court directives and judicial decisions triaging which cases would be heard as “urgent,” as well as courts’ decisions on the merits in cases involving domestic violence and COVID-19, spanning the areas of family, child welfare, criminal law, and civil protection orders. In the sixty-seven reported decisions in our sample, we find very little awareness overall of the heightened risks for survivors during COVID-19, in keeping with the prepandemic tendency of decision makers to focus on incident-based physical violence instead of patterns of coercive control. Our analysis also suggests that survivors’ability to  prove domestic violence and secure court orders that would help to ensure their safety was hampered not only by procedural complexity but also by the reduced availability of a range of services—health, counselling, housing, and supervised access centres, for example as a result of COVID-19

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui penerapan model Blended Learning tipe Flipped Clasroom dalam pembelajaran sejarah dan motivasi siswa terhadap penerapan model Blended Learning tipe Flipped Classrooom. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, instrument yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data penelitian yaitu lembar observasi dan angket. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPAS 1 di SMAN 13 Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 14 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil lembar observasi didapatkan hasil penerapan model Blended Learning tipe Flipped Classroom sebesar 90% dan berdasarkan lembar angket didapatkan hasil motivasi belajar siswa dari penerapan model Blended Learning tipe Flipped Classroom sebesar 89,42%. Hasil tersebut menjelaskan bahwa penerapan model Blended Learning tipe Flipped Classroom dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas X IPAS 1 di SMAN 13 Banda Aceh.
