Abstract

This Study is a development research that aims to produce interactive media based on appypie reality in a valid, practical, annd effective pronlem based learning model. The development model used is the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely the analysis stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The interactive media based on appypie that was developed was validated by two experts. Then, it was tested to 29 students in grade XI MIA 3 SMAN 3 Pinrang. The analysis used is data analysis of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The interactive media based on appypie is stated to valid based on the result of validating interactive media based on appypie with an average value of the media expert of 3.76, which are in very valid category. The interactive media based on appypie is stated to be practical based on (1) the implementation of interactive media with an average total percentage of 95,60%, which is in very high category; (2) the teacher's response with an average score of  95,75%, which is in very practical category; and (3) the students’ responses with an average score of 88,25%, which is in very practical category. The interactive media is stated to be effective based on the results of the analysis of the learning outcomes test and analysis of learning interest questionnaires with a class completeness percentage of 84% and an average value of the percentage of learning interest assessment of 81%, which is in high category. Therefore, the results of the study indicate that interactive media based on appypie in the proble, based learning learning model has valid, practical, and effective qualities.

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental research which aims to determine the learning interest of grade XI KI 4 students at SMK SMTI Makassar towards the main material of redox reactions. The research design uses the matching pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was all students in grade XI majoring in Industrial Chemistry (KI) at SMK SMTI Makassar with the total of 98 students were divided into four classes, and the research sampels were the students of grade XI KI 4. The results of the descriptive analysis of learning interest obtained an average of 81. The results of the inferential analysis of learning interest by using the t test obtain a significant value of 0.00<0.05 which indicated that there are an increase in learning interest of class XI KI 4 students. Therefore, the conclusion of the research is that there is an increase in students' interest in learning class XI KI 4 SMK SMTI Makassar on  redox reactions subject.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode resitasi dalam model pembelajaran langsung secara online terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X SMAN 4 Luwu tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 studi pada materi pokok ikatan kimia. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest only control group design. Populasinya adalah peserta didik kelas X SMAN 4 Luwu yang terdiri dari lima kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara random sampling. Kelas yang terpilih sebagai sampel penelitian yaitu kelas X Mipa 1 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan X Mipa 2 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Variabel bebasnya adalah penggunaan metode resitasi dalam model pembelajaran langsung secara online dan tanpa penggunaan metode resitasi dalam model pembelajaran langsung secara online. Variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar peserta didik dari materi pokok ikatan kimia. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan pemberian tes hasil belajar sebanyak 20 soal dengan lima pilihan jawaban. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik dekskiptif terhadap ketuntasan kelas pada hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa data pada kelompok eksperimen hanya 6 orang yang tuntas dan pada kelompok control hanya 2 yang tuntas dan hasil analisis prasyarat statistik inferensial terhadap tes hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa data pada kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol tidak terdistribusi normal tetapi memiliki varians yang homogen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney, Hasil uji Mann-Whitney diperoleh Zhitung = -0,7137 pada taraf signifikan = 0,05 diperoleh nilai Ztabel = 1,64. Berdasadarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode resitasi dalam model pembelajaran langsung secara online tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 4 Luwu pada materi ikatan kimia. ABSTRAC This research is a pseudo-experimental study that aims to determine the influence of recitation method in direct instruction model the online to Student’s learning outcomes of Grade X SMA Negeri 4 Luwu year 2020/2021 on the subject matter of chemical bonds. The research design used is posttest only control group design. The population is a class X student of SMA Negeri 4 Luwu consisting of five classes. Sampling is done in random sampling. The class selected as the research sample is class X Mipa 1 as the experimental group and X Mipa 2 as the control group. The free variable is the use of recitation method in direct instruction model the online and without use the recitation method in direct instruction model the online. The bound variables are the result of students learning from the subject matter of chemical bonds. Data retrieval is done by testing the results of 20 questions with five answer options. The data obtained is analyzed using descriptive statistics and inference statistics. The result of descriptive analysis of class completeness on the learning outcomes test show that the data in the experimental group only six people completed while in the control group only two completed and the results of the inference statistical prerequisite analysis of the study results test showed that the data in the experiment and control group were not distributed normally and had homogeneous variance. Hypothesis test use the Mann-Whitney test. The Mann-Whitney test result was obtained Z count = -0,7137 at a significant level α = 0.05 obtained Z table = 1.64. Based on these data it can be concluded that the recitation method in the online direct instruction model has not influence on learning outcomes of students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 4 on the subject matter of chemical bond.

Abstract

The goal of this research and development (R&D) study was to develop a 3D Chemis media product that included cards and applications for three-dimensional display. The 4-D development model by Thiagarajan et al., which comprised the phases of defining, designing, developing, and distributing, was consulted in the creation of this 3D chemistry media. The study's findings included the following: 1) two media experts and two material experts' evaluations of the media's viability and validity fell into the extremely valid group; 2) During the limited testing phase, which involved 29 students from class X MIA 5 SMAN 16 Makassar, each student received an average learning outcome test score of 83.3 out of 100, with 86.2% of the class completing the course. Additionally, the evaluation of student motivation for this media fell into the very high category, suggesting that the media was effective; 3) both students' and teachers' responses to the developed learning media fell into the very high category, suggesting that the media was useful. Following a validation stage by experts and validators, development revisions, and a small number of trials, this learning material was found to be reliable, useful, and efficient. The Chemis 3D media model was shown to be reliable, useful, and efficient.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) is aim to determine how to implement it the steps system the implementation of NHT learning models to improve student learning activitie and learning outcomes in class Xc SMAN 1 Bungin, Kab. Enrekang. This study was conducted by two cycles. The steps NHT implemente, namely:(1) present the objectives, motivation, material according to the indicators and learning objectives to the students and instructed the students to write it, then devide students into several groups, (2) distribute worksheet to the students and then provide questions to the students about material in the worksheet, 3) instruct the students to work in group to do worksheet question, (4) refers to the students based on the number of heads to present the result of the discussion and answer worksheet question, (5) asking the students to conclude that the material has been studied. The implementation of the cooperative of NHT learning model can improve student learning activite and the learning outcomes of students in class Xc SMAN 1 Bungin.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yaitu menentukan ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan metode gallery walk yang terdapat dalam discovery learning terhadap ketercapaian hasil belajar kelas XI MIPA di salah satu SMA Negeri di Enrekang pada materi pokok senyawa hidrokarbon. Desain penelitian quasi experiment  dimana terdapat dua kelompok sampel yakni kelompok eksperimen (XI MIPA 1) dan kelompok kontrol (XI MIPA 3). Penelitian dilakukan pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 dimana terdapat empat kali pertemuan dan satu kali pertemuan untuk posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan   pemberian posttest yang berupa soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 butir, observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, serta observasi aktivitas belajar peserta didik. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan nilai rerata hasil  belajar kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibanding kelompok kontrol. Analisis statistik inferensial dilakukan dengan uji nonparametrik Mann-Whitney dengan taraf α = 0,05 dan diperoleh Zhitung (9,62) > Ztabel. (1,64). Metode gallery walk pada model discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Every students have different ways in collecting, processing, and understanding information. Those refers to the preferences of students in learning or known as learning styles. Therefore, this study aimed to identify and recognize the students’ major and minor perceptual learning style preferences in English Education Department at Universitas Sulawesi Barat. This research was used quantitative approach by using survey design. This research was conducted in English Education Department at Universitas Sulawesi Barat with 79 respondents or college students who were selected by Saturated sampling. The data of this research were collected by using Reid’s (1987) Perceptual Learning Style Preferences Questionnaire (PLSPQ). The data were analysed with self-scoring based on Reid (1978) and descriptive statistic by using SPSS Software Statistic Version 20. The findings of the research shows the averages of the learning style of college students in English Education Department at Universitas Sulawesi Barat the year 2019 was categorized as none major perceptual learning styles preference. On the other hand, they were categorized as minor perceptual learning styles preference, in which kinaesthetic learning style had highest mean with (37.84) than another learning style, and followed by group learning style with mean (37.67), tactile with mean (36.91), auditory with mean (36.55), visual with mean (35.87), and individual learning style with mean (34.73). Even though they were categorized as minor perceptual learning styles preference, but the students still be able to learn better by their high minor condition.

Abstract

Song language functions as a means of expressing emotions, conveying messages, strengthening themes, creating beauty, building atmosphere, motivating listeners, and strengthening cultural ties and community identity. Song lyrics are written works describing experiences, feelings, and stories with explicit and implied content. To find out the construction, researchers analyzed voice notes by Charlie Puth. This research uses qualitative research and analyses data using Wolcott's theory, which states that language style consists of two aspects: language style based on sentence structure and language style based on meaning. There are thirteen songs in the voice note album; analyze all thirteen. Contraction involves joining two free morphemes, where one becomes bound, forming a single morpheme. The constructions analysed are finite constructions and non-finite constructions. The results are that there are 29 finite contractions, and 22 non-finite contractions found.

Abstract

English is one of the languages recognized as an international language. English brings people from all across the world together. Everyday is Christmas is Sia's eighth and debut studio album, released on November 17, 2017, by Atlantic Records and Monkey Puzzle. This study aims to examine imperative, declarative, interrogative, and exclamatory sentences, as explained above. This study adds to the scholarly debate on linguistics and improves our understanding of how sentences work within the lyrical context of Everyday is Christmas Album. For additional inquiry, employ a qualitative method by presenting data in table form and discussing the findings. Overall, this study stresses the importance of sentence patterns in English and provides insight into their use in song lyrics.

Abstract

This study is a comparison research with quasi-experimental method aimed to investigate the differences of learning outcomes of student Class X SMA Negeri 1 Ma’rang between taught using of TPS and NHT types of cooperative learning. The study design was "Two Group, Pretest Posttest Design". The population in this study were all class X SMA Negeri 1 Ma’rang which consists of 5 classes, while the sample are class X A as experimental 1 and class X B as experimental 2 with number of students in each class is 20 people. The independent variable in this study are TPS and NHT types of cooperative learning and the dependent variable is the result of learning. Data retrieval of learning outcomes achieved by giving a pretest and posttest. Learning outcome data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The analysis showed the average value of student learning outcomes TPS class in the pretest and posttest are 35,75 and 73,70, respectively, with an average N-Gain 0,599 and NHT class, 28,25 and 79,10 with an average of 0,729 N-Gain. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test values obtained at tcount = 2,936 and α = 0.05 significance level with df = 38 obtained table = 2,036. Therefore, t count> t table, then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. It shows that there are difference outcomes learning of X class student of SMA Negeri 1 Ma’rang that taught by TPS and NHT types of cooperative learning model on the subject matter of the chemical bond.
