Abstract

This research aimed to students misconceptions on the concepts of acids and bases. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method. The instrument used is a Two-Tier diagnostic instrument with a total of 20 items. Based on the results of research that has been done, the percentage of students 'conceptual understanding is 24.2%, students' misconceptions are 39.5%, do not understand the concept of students by 36.6%. Teachers and students are one of the causes of misconceptions in class XI MIA 1 of SMA Negeri 7 Makassar on the subject matter of Acid Basa. The process of assimilation of the concept of students is not successful, the low interest in learning of students, the teacher does not provide a detailed explanation of the concept, the teacher only uses conventional learning models (lectures) ,. Based on the data and causes of misconceptions above, it can be concluded that students in class XI MIA 1 Makassar 7 State High School experienced misconceptions on the concept of acids and bases.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMAN 12 Makassar antara yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe course review horay (CRH) dengan tipe numbered heads together (NHT) studi pada materi pokok kesetimbangan kimia. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bersifat komparatif dengan desain Postest-Only Design. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CRH dan kooperatif tipe NHT, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMAN 12 Makassar pada materi pokok Kesetimbangan Kimia. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X1 IPA SMAN 12 Makassar tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Sampel ditentukan secara acak sehingga terpilih kelas XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas ekesperimen 1 dan XI IPA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2. Kelas eksperimen 1 dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan kooperatif tipe CRH dan kelas eksperimen 2 dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan kooperatif tipe NHT. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar peserta didik dilakukan dengan cara pemberian post-test (tes akhir) pada kelas eksperimen 1 dan kelas eksperimen 2. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah jenis instrumen tes hasil belajar kognitif erbentuk tes objektif atau pilihan ganda, terdiri dari 20 butir soal. Intrumen tersebut telah divalidasi isi dan validasi item. Data hasil belajar yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen I yaitu 77,4 dan kelas eksperimen II yaitu 73,0. Hasil analisis inferensial untuk pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dua pihak, diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 2,178 dan ttabel sebesar 1,996 dengan derajat kebebasan 67 pada taraf signifikan α = 0,025 sehingga nilai thitung tidak terletak diantara +ttabel dan -ttabel, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik antara yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CRH dan NHT. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether there are differences in learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA SMAN 12 Makassar that learned cooperative learning model using between CRH and NHT type on chemical equilibrium subject matter. This comparatively quasi-experimental research Post-test Only Design. The independent variables is CRH and NHT type of cooperative learning model, while the dependent variable is the learning outcomes of students class XI IPA SMAN 12 Makassar on Chemical Equilibrium subject matter. The population are all class X1 IPA SMAN 12 Makassar in the 2015/2016 academic year. The sample which was selected randomly are class XI IPA 4 as an experiment 1 and XI IPA 5 as an experimental 2. Class experiment 1 learned using CRH and the experimental class 2 using NHT of cooperative. The collection of data of the study is conducted provision post-test (final test) to the students’ experiment 1 and experiment 2 class. The 20 instrument that gifts to the student for measure cognitive is objective in multiple choices. The instrument has been validated the content and the item. Learning outcome data were analysed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The descriptive analysis showed the average of students outcome of experiment 1 and experiment 2 are 77.4 and 73.0, respectively. The inferential statistic for hypothesis testing using t-test two parties, showed the value tcount 2.178 and ttable 1.996 with 67 degrees of freedom at the significance level α = 0.025. The value of tcount not lie between +ttable and -ttable, this meant H0 rejected and H1 accepted. It shows that there are differences between the learning outcomes of students that learned using CRH and NHT type of cooperative learning model.

Abstract

The research is quasi experiments that aim to know the influence of pre-quiz giving using NHT type cooperative learning model towards motivation and achievement of X grade student of SMAN 11 Makassar. The independent variable are NHT type cooperative learning model with pre-quiz and without pre-quiz giving in cooperative learning model, and dependent variable are students’ motivation and achievement in chemical bonding main subject of learning. The population is whole student of X Grade SMAN 11 Makassar. The samples include two classes such as X2 as an experiment class with 36 students and X1 class as a control class with 34 students. The result of the research is obtained by giving motivation questionnaire and learning achievement test in chemical bonding subject which from as post-test and analyzed by using t-test. The result of inferential statistic analysis for learning motivation shows tcount (1,48) > ttable (1,828) at α= 0,05. And the result of inferential statistic for achievement test shows tcount (2,625) > ttable (1,674) at α= 0,05. According to the result of data analysis shows that pre-quiz in NHT type of cooperative learning model influences motivation and achievement of X grade student of SMAN 11 Makassar in main subject of chemical bonding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development) yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD identifikasi asam basa model inkuiri menggunakan pendekatan SETS yang valid, dan praktis. Objek penelitian ini adalah LKPD pembelajaran kimia pada materi asam basa. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Thiagarajan atau model 4-D (define, design, develop and disseminate). Proses pengembangan LKPD melalui tahap pendefinisian dan perancangan menghasilkan draft I. Draft ini kemudian divalidasi oleh dua dosen sebagai validator. Hasil validasi diperoleh nilai kevalidan 3,58 yang berada dalam kategori sangat valid dengan rentang 3,5 ≤ V ≤ 4. Berdasarkan hasil validasi tersebut diajukan beberapa saran oleh validator untuk perbaikan LKPD, sehingga diperoleh draft II (draft akhir). Kepraktisan LKPD yang dikembangkan memenuhi kategori praktis karena nilai presentase keterlaksanaan masuk dalam kriteria “baik” yaitu 78,5% dengan rentang 70 < p ≤ 85 sehingga LKPD layak digunakan disekolah. Guru dan peserta didik memberikan respon positif. Disimpulkan bahwa LKPD pendektan SETS memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis.

Abstract

Integrasi Teknologi Informasi (TI) dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris menjadi salah satu inovasi yang dihadirkan sebagai cara untuk mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan arus media serta informasi. Hal ini memberikan tuntutan besar kepada para pengajar Bahasa Inggris untuk bisa menangkap peluang besar ini, yang sekaligus bisa menjadi tantangan di sisi lain. Salah satu aspek pentingnya adalah manajemen kelas Bahasa Inggris berbantuan TI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Manajemen manajemen kelas yang diaplikasikan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris berbantuan TI. Penelitian akan dilakukan di beberapa Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kabupaten Majene. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan model penelitian deskriptif yaitu mencari gambaran tentang bagaimana manajemen kelas yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa inggris berbantuan Teknologi Informasi (TI) dengan sumber data yang diperoleh melalui observasi, interview, studi dokumen. Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis isi untuk hasil observasi dan interview. Target penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan pola manajemen kelas yang digunakan oleh guru beserta persepsi siswa untuk bisa dilakukakan analisis lebih jauh. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kelas yang diaplikasikan oleh guru Bahasa Inggris pada kelas berbantuan komputer di Kabupaten Majene meliputi; a) Manajemen kondisi fisik kelas, b) Manajemen tingkah laku siswa dan c) manajemen komunikasi dan interaksi guru-siswa/siswa-siswa, dan (d) Manajemen Waktu

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of interventions addressing the phenomenon of bullying in elementary schools. Bullying is a significant issue with detrimental effects on the psychological and social well-being of students. Appropriate interventions are expected to mitigate or even eliminate bullying behaviors within the elementary school environment.The study uses descriptive qualitative research, where the subjects used to lead the data are principals, teachers and students in grades 1 to 6. Data collection is done through observation, interviews and documentation. Furthermore, the data is analyzed and described in the form of a narrative so as to produce a conclusion. The conclusion of the results of the study is that SDN X P classifies three bullyings that occur in schools, namely physical, relational and verbal bullying. The preventive and repressive steps taken by SDN X P are by providing support to victims, making regulations regarding bullying, providing examples, one of which is PAI lessons, detecting bullying acts earlier and providing solutions related to bullying.

Abstract

This study explores the role of curriculum reforms in education development, focusing on the perceptions and experiences of teachers, administrators, and students in schools that have undergone recent curriculum changes. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research involved semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis to gather data on the impact of the reforms. The findings reveal that while curriculum reforms have led to increased student engagement and the promotion of student-centered learning, challenges such as insufficient teacher training, inadequate resources, and resistance to change hindered their effective implementation. Teachers reported a lack of professional development and resources necessary to support the new curriculum, which affected their ability to fully integrate the reforms into their teaching practices. Students, on the other hand, expressed increased interest in subjects that employed project-based and collaborative learning methods, although some struggled with the self-regulation required in a more independent learning environment. This study contributes to existing literature by addressing gaps in teacher preparedness, resource allocation, and the varying outcomes of student-centered learning. The research underscores the importance of comprehensive teacher training, adequate resources, and inclusive reform processes to ensure the success of curriculum changes in promoting quality education.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kuis di awal pertemuan pada model discovery learning terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XII MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Makassar pada materi pokok reaksi redoks dan elektrokimia. Pemberian kuis di awal pertemuan dimulai pada pertemuan pertama dimana soal kuis memuat materi yang telah dipelajari pada pertemuan sebelumnya. Dengan mengetahui akan diadakannya kuis, maka siswa akan mempersiapkan diri dengan belajar di rumah. Model discovery learning merupakan suatu model yang menuntut peserta didik untuk aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Variabel bebas dari penelitian ini yaitu pemberian kuis di awal pertemuan pada model discovery learning dan model discovery learning tanpa menggunakan pemberian kuis awal pertemuan. Variabel terikatnya yaitu motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi pokok reaksi redoks dan elektrokimia. Populasi dari penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas XII MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Makassar yang terdiri dari 6 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak dengan asumsi bahwa populasi bersifat homogen. Kelas yang terpilih menjadi sampel yaitu peserta didik kelas XII MIPA 2 sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang terdiri dari 32 orang dan kelas XII MIPA 6 sebagai kelompok kontrol yang terdiri dari 36 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar pesrta didik yang terdiri atas 20 butir soal pilihan ganda dan angket motivasi yang terdiri atas 20 butir pernyataan dengan 6 kriteria. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Nilai rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa kelompok eksperimen yaitu 83,25 dan nilai rata-rata kelompok kontrol 73,72. Pengujian hipotesis 1 dengan uji Mann Whitney menghasilkan z_hitung (6,86)> z_tabel (1,67) dan hipotesis 2 menghasilkan zhitung>ztabel = 3,57>1,64 pada α = 0,05, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif pemberian kuis awal pertemuan pada model discovery learning terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XII MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Makassar pada materi pokok reaksi redoks dan elektrokimia. Pengujian hipotesis 3 menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment menghasilkan nilai rxy = 0,12, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XII MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Makassar pada materi pokok reaksi redoks dan elektrokimia ABSTRACT This research was a quasi-experimental that aimed to find out the effect of Quiz at the Beginning of Meeting in Discovery Learning Model toward Motivation and learning Achievement of student of Class XII MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Makassar. Quiz at the Beginning of Meeting started at the first meeting where the quiz questions contained material that had been learned at the previous meeting. By knowing the quiz will be held, students will prepare themselves by studying at home. Discovery Learning Model is a model that requires students to be active in the learning process. The independent variables of this study are the provision of Quiz at the Beginning of Meeting Discovery Learning model and Discovery Learning model without using Quiz at the Beginning of Meeting. The dependent variable are the students' motivation and learning achievement in redox and eletrochemical reactions subject matter. The population is student of class XII MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Makassar consisting of 6 classes. The sampling technique was conducted randomly with the assumption that the population is homogeneous. The selected classes are the students of class XII MIPA 2 as the experimental class consisting of 32 students and students of grade XII MIPA 6 as a control class consisting of 36 students. Data was obtained from the test results of student learning consisting of 20 items multiple choice questions and motivation questionnaire consisting of 20 items of statement with 6 criteria. Data analysis techniques used descriptive and inferential analysis. The average of students learning motivation are 83,25 and 73,72 resvectively for experiment and control class. Testing of hypothesis 1 with t test yield t count (8,23) > t table (1,67) and 2 hypothesis yield t count > t table = 3,57 > 1,67 at α = 0,05, hence it can be concluded that there is positive influence in giving quiz at the beginning of meeting in discovery learning model toward student’s learning achievement class XII MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Makassar on redox and chemical reaction subject matter subject matter. Testing of 3 hypothesis using product moment correlation analysis yields rxy = 0,12, so it can be concluded that there is positive correlation between motivation and student’s learning achievement class XII MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Makassar on redox and chemical reaction subject matter

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan media pembelajaran berbasis Fangspage Facebook sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi pokok Ikatan Kimia. Penelitian ini mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap yaitu: (1) analysis (tahap analisis), (2) design (tahap perancangan), (3) development (tahap pengembangan), (4) implementation (tahap implementasi) dan (5) evaluation (tahap evaluasi). Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) kevalidan media Fangspage Facebook berdasarkan ahli media dan ahli materi, masing-masing sebesar 3,60 dan 3,78 dengan kategori sangat valid, (2) kepraktisan media Fangspage Facebook berdasarkan observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, angket respon guru dan peserta didik berturut-turut sebesar 100%, 82,92% dan 80% dengan kategori sangat praktis, (3) keefektifan media Fangspage Facebook berdasarkan angket ketertarikan belajar kimia dan tes hasil belajar masing-masing yaitu sebesar 80% dan 91% dengan kategori sangat efektif. Berdasarkan data tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Fangspage Facebook pada materi pokok Ikatan Kimia yang dikembangkan dengan model ADDIE dinyatakan valid, praktis dan efektif.

Abstract

This study is a quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental design) which aims to examine the differences in motivation and learning outcomes of biology through the Discovery Learning model with Probing Prompting technique of grade XII students at SMAN 8 in North Luwu. The aims of the study are to analyze the difference in motivation and biology learning outcomes through the Discovery Learning model with Probing Prompting technique of grade XII students at SMAN 8 in North Luwu. The population in this study were students of grade XII MIPA at SMAN 8 in North Luwu in academic year of 2021/2022. Samples were taken by employing Random Sample technique. Learning motivation data were collected using a learning motivation questionnaire and learning outcomes were collected using multiple choice tests. Data were analyzed by employing descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire technique and a test technique. The results of hypothesis testing using the MANOVA (Multivariate Analysis of Variance) test of the significance value learning motivation sig (2-tailed) < ???? = 0.05 or 0.023 < ???? 0.05 means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted and learning outcomes with sig (2-tailed) < ???? = 0.05 or 0.003 < ???? 0.05 means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the test criteria, it can be concluded that there are differences in motivation and learning outcomes of biology through the Discovery Learning model with Probing Prompting technique of grade XII students at SMAN 8 in North Luwu.
