Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has changed the lifestyle of the people of Medan City. People's lives are now highly dependent on smartphones and the internet. This has encouraged the development of digital technology-based financial services, also known as fintech. ShopeePay is one of the most widely used and interested fintechs in the community. Customer satisfaction and consumer trust are factors that attract people to use ShopeePay. However, there are still complaints from ShopeePay users regarding customer satisfaction and consumer trust. This study aims to determine the effect of customer satisfaction and consumer trust on interest in using. The form of research used is quantitative with an associative approach. The population in this study were people who used ShopeePay digital wallet services in Medan City, with a sample of 96 respondents, with the sampling technique using purposive sampling. The analysis techniques used are instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analyses, partial tests, simultaneous tests, and determination coefficient tests. The results of this study indicate that customer satisfaction and consumer confidence have a significant positive effect on interest in using, and have an effect of 54%, while the remaining 46% is influenced by other factors outside this research model.

Abstract

One of the companies engaged in halal health products is HNI-HPAI, however, this company still needs to improve Islamic branding and personal selling to reach consumers in Medan City so that consumers make buying decisions. This study aims to determine the effect of Islamic branding, and personal selling, on buying decisions on HNI HPAI products in Medan City. This form of research is quantitative research with an associative approach. The population in this study were consumers of HNI-HPAI products in Medan City, with a sample of 96 respondents, with sampling techniques using purposive sampling. The analysis techniques used are instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, partial tests, simultaneous tests, and determination coefficient tests. The results of this study indicate that Islamic branding and personal selling have a positive and significant effect on the buying decision variable, and have an effect of 77.3%, while the remaining 22.7% is influenced by other factors outside this research model.

Abstract

Human resources play an important role in advancing a company, especially banking companies such as Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Padangsidempuan. Therefore, companies need to pay attention to the conditions experienced by employees, especially regarding career development and guarantees, mental state, and work atmosphere and facilities in order to form. However, the turnover rate in the company tends to be high in the past year, which can be seen from the greater number of employees leaving than entering the company. It was found that fear of career threats, giving workloads that are considered inadequate, and inadequate atmosphere and facilities are the causes of turnover in the company. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the variables Job Insecurity, Work Stress, and Work Environment used to explain the occurrence of Turnover Intention phenomenon in employees at BSI Padangsidempuan. This study also aims to analyze the influence of the first three variables on the turnover process in the company. The study was conducted using a quantitative method with an associative approach. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 32 employees who were also the entire population of BSI Padangsidempuan supported by secondary data such as various books and previous studies. The data were then analyzed using instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regressions, and hypothesis tests as data interpretation tools. The researchers found that the variables Job Insecurity, Job Stress, and Work Environment had a significant effect on changes in the Turnover Intention variable with a level of correlation and influence of 96.3% and 91.9%, respectively. The results of the study indicate that factors related to the three variables are the cause of employee turnover at BSI Padangsidempuan.

Abstract

Employee performance improvement is the key to a company's success. This work improvement is influenced by several factors, two of which are the provision of appropriate job descriptions as part of employee engagement and appropriate compensation by the company. However, employees of BRI Branch Office (KCP) Helvetia consider that the company has not provided job descriptions or compensation as they should. This then hinders employee performance improvement. The researcher uses Employee Engagement, Compensation, and Work Improvement as research variables. This study aims not only to solve the problems that occur at BRI KCP Helvetia but also to determine the level of relationship between the three variables and the level of influence of the first two variables on the Work Improvement variable. This study was conducted using a quantitative method with an associative approach. Research data were collected by distributing questionnaires to all employees with support from relevant studies. The data were then analyzed using instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis tests. The researcher found that Employee Engagement and Compensation are closely related and have a significant effect on Work Improvement both individually and simultaneously with a level of relationship and influence of 90.2% and 80.1%. The results of the study show that job desk and compensation are two main components that can facilitate the improvement of employee performance at BRI KCP Helvetia.

Abstract

n realizing good employee performance, commitment from all elements of the company is needed. This commitment can be arranged in the form of a code of ethics for employees in carrying out their duties. In addition, managing employee morale is important in realizing good performance, boredom is a problem for employees because they always face the same tasks. This can be done by job rotation to refresh employees, but this is often opposed because it is considered to hamper employee career stability. This research was conducted at PT Bank Tabungan Negara KC Medan. The reason for choosing this place is in the financial statements of 4 government-owned banks (BRI, Mandiri, BNI, BTN) PT Bank Tabungan Negara has the highest level of NPL (Non-Performing Loan) or bad credit. The reason is that the company began to focus on the consumer credit segment so that the handling of bad debts decreased slightly. This research uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The sampling technique was random sampling and involved 46 respondents. Primary data was obtained directly by distributing questionnaires through form while secondary data was obtained through literature studies. The data analysis methods used are the validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the code of ethics variable (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance, and the role and play system variable (X2) also has a significant impact on employee performance. Likewise, variables X1 and X2 together (simultaneously) affect employee performance (Y). The coefficient of determination test shows that there is a fairly close relationship between the code of ethics and role and play on employee performance with a value of 84% which means the relationship is very near. In addition, the adjusted R-value is obtained which shows a contribution of 69%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how knowledge sharing, organization, and work discipline influence work performance among employees at Bank Sumut Medan Imam Bonjol. The influence of knowledge sharing, organization, and work discipline will be analyzed both partially and simultaneously on work performance. The form of research used in this study is quantitative research with an associative approach. The population in this study comprises all employees at the PT Bank Sumut Medan Imam Bonjol office, totaling 33 people, with sampling techniques using saturated sampling. Primary data used in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires directly, while secondary data were obtained through literature studies. The data analysis methods used are instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that knowledge sharing, organization, and work discipline had a positive and significant effect both partially and simultaneously on work performance at PT Bank Sumut Medan Imam Bonjol. The correlation coefficient (R) value is 0.943, which means that there is a relationship between the variables of Knowledge Sharing (X1), Organization (X2), and Work Discipline (X3) on Work Performance (Y) of 94.3%, indicating a very close relationship between these variables. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.878, or the coefficient of determination, shows that the variables of Knowledge Sharing (X1), Organization (X2), and Work Discipline (X3) explain 87.8% of the variation in Work Performance (Y), while the remaining 12.2% is influenced by other factors outside this research model.

Abstract

Developments in the business world make companies must have quality human resources (HR) in the face of change and competition. The importance of employee job satisfaction can affect the quality of performance it produces for the company in the face of change and competition which are work demands for employees. Facing work demands, employees can practice job crafting by taking the initiative to adapt their tasks to their expertise in facing work demands and obtaining job satisfaction for their work achievements. This study aims to determine the effect of job crafting and job demands on employee job satisfaction at PT Infiniti International Logistic Medan. This research uses quantitative methods with 48 employees as research samples. Primary data collection is done through questionnaires distributed to respondents directly, while secondary data is obtained from literature studies. The results of the study found that job crafting and work demands have a significant effect on job satisfaction of employees of PT Infiniti International Logistic Medan by 29.3%. This means that job crafting and employee work demands have motivated employees to develop their abilities to obtain job satisfaction.

Abstract

Slowing economic growth increased the number of unemployed. One solution to this problem is to create new jobs through entrepreneurship. Education should be able to play a role in increasing the number of entrepreneurs in Indonesia. However, the low interest of students in entrepreneurship tends to make students educated, but unemployed after graduating from college. Creating graduates who have knowledge, interest, and entrepreneurial spirit is an important responsibility for universities. This study aims to analyze how the influence of self-efficacy and locus of control on entrepreneurial interest in North Sumatra University students. This study uses a quantitative method involving 100 respondents as the research sample. Sampling was done through a purposive sampling technique. Collecting data using a questionnaire distributed to respondents via google form. The methods used for data analysis are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the variables of self-efficacy and locus of control significantly and simultaneously affect the interest in entrepreneurship. The influence given by the variable self-efficacy and locus of control contributed 17.4% to the variable interest in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berupaya untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja karyawan, pengaruh pelatihan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Horti Jaya Lestari Cabang Dokan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. Horti Jaya Lestari Cabang Dokan yang berjmlah 68 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui teknik nonprobability sampling dengan model sampel jenuh, jumlah responden sebanyak 68 responden. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer yang diperoleh dengan menyebar kuesioner sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa variabel gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan variabel pelatihan berpengaruh secara parsial dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, variabel gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan pelatihan juga berpengaruh secara simultan dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, nilai koefisien ini menunjukkan hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja karyawan sangat kuat dengan nilai R sebesar 0,799 atau 79,9%. Nilai Adjusted R Square juga diketahui bahwa variabel gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan pelatihan dapat menjelaskan variabel kinerja karyawan sebesar 62,8%.

Abstract

Generasi milenial khususnya di kota Medan memilih jalur karir menjadi freelancer berdasarkan keinginan pribadi dan tidak dipaksakan. Di tengah kondisi serba digital ini, para freelancer harus menyesuaikan dan mengetahui karakteristik pribadi dan jenis pekerjaannya berdasarkan minat dan bakatnya agar dapat memberikan kepuasan kerja.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh mengetahui karakteristik individu dan karakteristik pekerjaan terhadap kepuasan kerja pada pekerja lepas generasi milenial di Kota Medan. Pengaruh antara karakteristik individu dan karakteristik pekerjaan akan dianalisis secara parsial dan simultan terhadap kepuasan kerja pada pekerja lepas generasi milenial di Kota Medan. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel karakteristik individu (X1) dan variabel karakteristik pekerjaan (X2) secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Melalui nilai adjusted R square terdapat kontribusi 43,1% karakteristik individu dan karakteristik pekerjaan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Sedangkan sisanya 56,9%dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain seperti motivasi kerja, kinerja, dan variabel lainnya.Kesimpulannya adalah pengaruh karakteristik individu dan karakteristik pekerjaan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja.
