Abstract

Several things can reduce turnover intention in employees, namely by implementing fair company compensation and by using the concept of job embeddedness to see an employee's interest in the company. This study aims to determine how the effect of compensation and job embeddedness on turnover intention in employees of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Iskandar Muda Medan branch. This form of research is quantitative research with an associative approach. The population used in this study were employees of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Iskandar Muda Medan branch, with a sample of 55 respondents with sampling techniques using the Slovin formula. The analysis techniques used are instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analyses, partial tests, simultaneous tests, and determination coefficient tests. The results of this study indicate that the compensation and job embeddedness variables have a positive and significant effect both partially and simultaneously on turnover intention, and have an effect of 56.4%, while the remaining 43.6% is influenced by other factors outside this research model.

Abstract

Bauran Pemasaran merupakan unsur-unsur pemasaran yang saling terkait, dibaurkan, dan digunakan oleh konsumen dengan tepat sehingga perusahaan dapat mencapai pasar sasaran yang efektif dan dapat memuaskan kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen tersebut. Pihak Bank BRI harus memahami permasalahan-permasalahan konsumen serta faktor-faktor penyebabnya sehingga mampu memaksimalkan guna menarik konsumen agar melakukan keputusan memiliki kartu kredit Bank BRI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh bauran pemasaran terhadap keputusan konsumen memiliki kartu kredit dengan kualitas layanan pada konsumen Bank BRI Kota Medan. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengguna Kartu Kredit Bank BRI di Kota Medan, dengan sampel berjumlah 103 responden, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Data primer diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung dan melalui google form, serta data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, regresi linear berganda, uji MRA (Moderating Regression Analysis), uji parsial, uji simultan, dan uji determinasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada uji koefisien determinasi diatas menunjukkan bahwa Bauran Pemasaran dapat menjelaskan Keputusan Konsumen sebesar 65%, sedangkan sisanya 35% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain diluar variabel yang diteliti. Disisi lain, bahwa Bauran Pemasaran Terhadap Keputusan Konsumen yang dimoderasikan oleh Kualitas Layanan sebesar 71,5%, sedangkan sisanya 28,5% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain diluar variabel yang diteliti.

Abstract

Consumer purchasing decisions are the result of choices made by individuals when buying a product. This process involves selecting one solution out of many options, followed by real consequences. A crucial aspect of this decision-making process is the product display. The presentation of goods in a store plays a key role in creating a visual image that influences consumers' perceptions of beauty and the product itself.This study seeks to investigate the impact of product display on purchasing decisions at Aroma Bakery and Cake Shop Karya Jaya. The research methodology employed is quantitative with an associative approach. Data was collected from 96 respondents using the Accidental Sampling technique. Primary data was gathered through questionnaires distributed to consumers who had recently made purchases at Aroma, while secondary data was collected through literature and documentation reviews. The data analysis included validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, simple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and determination coefficient calculation. Results from the study revealed that the product display significantly affects purchasing decisions. The product display variable had a positive impact on buying decisions, as demonstrated by the t-test results (9.332> 1.6612) and the low significance value (0.000 < 0.05). According to the coefficient of determination test, product displays explained 48% of the variation in purchasing decisions, with external factors accounting for the remaining 52%.The findings underscore the importance of product displays in influencing consumer purchasing decisions at Aroma Bakery and Cake Shop Karya Jaya.

Abstract

The success of a company is determined by employee performance so that the company takes various ways to improve the performance of its employees. Good employee performance will accelerate the achievement of a company's goals, conversely organizational goals cannot be achieved if its employees do not have good performance. Performance appraisal is basically one of the key factors in developing employee performance in a company, it is also necessary to provide rewards and punishments to improve employee performance. The form of this research is quantitative with a sample size of 55 respondents conducted through simple random sampling techniques. Primary data in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires directly and secondary data were obtained through literature studies. The results of this study indicate that work assessment (X1), reward (X2), punishment (X3) have a significant effect both partially and simultaneously on the performance of employees of Bank BTN Medan Branch Office. The determination coefficient test shows that there is a close relationship between work assessment (X1), reward (X2), punishment (X3) employee performance with an R value of 0.829. Through the adjusted R square value, it is also known that the work assessment variables (X1), reward (X2), and punishment (X3) contribute 66.9% to the employee performance variable, while the remaining 33.1% is influenced by other variables outside this research model.

Abstract

In today's industrial development, human resources are very important for every company institution to realize the vision and mission determined by the company organization. Although there are still many other factors that can help realize the company's vision and mission, without the support of human resources, the company's operations will not function properly. This shows that human resources are the main key that must be considered with all its needs. The objectives of this study are 1) To find out how much influence indirect compensation has on employee performance, 2) To find out how much influence the work environment has on employee performance, 3) To find out how much influence indirect compensation and work environment have on employee performance. This study uses a quantitative research method with an associative approach. The method of data collection is distributing questionnaires. The number of samples studied was 60 people. The methods used in this study are instrument testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression testing, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that indirect compensation (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) as evidenced by the results of Tcount (2.532) Ttable (1.672). Work environment (X2) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) as evidenced by the results of Tcount (2.563) Ttable (1.672). Indirect compensation (X1) and work environment (X2) together have a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) as evidenced by the results of the simultaneous significance test Fcount (6.924) Ftable (3.16). In the calculation of the coefficient of determination, the result is 0.195, which means that the independent variable affects the dependent variable by 19.5%, while the remaining 80.5% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Kemajuan perusahaan AUTO 2000 tersebut juga tidak akan lepas dari keberadaan serta pengaruh sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang ada di dalamnya. Untuk mewujudkan SDM yang unggul maka diperlukan kinerja karyawan sebagai tolak ukurnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh stres kerja, perilaku cyberloafing, dan pengawasan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Auto 2000 Medan Marelan. pengaruh stres kerja, perilaku cyberloafing, dan pengawasan tersebut akan dianalisis secara parsial dan simultan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan 50 karyawan sebagai sampel penelitian, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala likert yang disebarkan kepada responden secara langsung di Auto 2000 Medan Marelan, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari studi kepustakaan. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis liner berganda, dan uji hipotesis dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel stres kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 2,846 2,01290 dengan signifikansi 0.007 0,025. Cyberloafing secara parsial tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, diperoleh t hitung sebesar 0,503 2,01290 dengan signifikansi 0.617 0,025. Pengawasan diperoleh t hitung sebesar 2,590 2,01290 dengan signifikansi 0.013 0,025. Variabel stres kerja, cyberloafing, dan pengawasan secara simultan dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, diperoleh f hitung 4.403 2,81 dan signifikansi dari f hitung sebesar 0,008 0,05 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 17,2% sedangkan sisanya 82,8% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam variabel penelitian.

Abstract

Organizational change is an important issue in a company, change provides an opportunity for the organization to improve performance from the previous one. As a merged company, Bank Syariah has made many changes. After the merger process carried out by several Islamic banks such as Bank BRI Syariah, Bank BNI Syariah, and Bank Mandiri Syariah, it is necessary to review whether the banking company's business operations are effective or not. This study was conducted to analyze how effective the Bank Syariah Indonesia company is after the merger using the McKinsey 7S model approach. And to find out the obstacles experienced by Bank Syariah Indonesia after the merger The form of research used by researchers in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by field studies with interviews and observations. Based on the analysis conducted, it was found that BSI Medan showed ineffective organizational effectiveness. Although several elements such as staff and skills, strategy, system, structure, and style showed a fairly good level of effectiveness, the main obstacle lies in the unification of organizational culture in the shared value element. The main obstacle detected was changes in organizational culture. In addition to obstacles in organizational culture, obstacles that occurred in BSI were in the form of technology adaptation, communication between employees, alignment of SOPs and services, and obstacles in increasing assets and customer growth. Currently, the company needs to continue to strengthen and align elements of the 7S model, help employees adapt to the new culture, and conduct regular evaluations of the implementation of the McKinsey 7S model.

Abstract

The development of the internet and social media has become one of the important parts of daily life both in the business sector and other sectors.  The advancement of the internet is used by business people to promote their products online through various social media.  Another impact caused by the development of social media, especially among teenagers, is the emergence of the FOMO. phenomenon. FOMO is a psychological phenomenon that arises due to the fear and anxiety of individuals to miss something that can affect their shopping behavior. Therefore, these two things have an influence to encourage consumers to buy a product. This study aims to determine the influence of FOMO and digital promotion on consumer purchase decisions in students who use iphone products in Medan. This study used a quantitative with an associative approach. The population in this study is students who use iPhone products in Medan City with a sample of 96 respondents. The sample approach used in this study is non-probability sampling in the form of purposive sampling.  Primary data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires directly and secondary data was obtained through literature studies. The analysis methods used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, partial test, simultaneous test, and determination test and processed with SPSS software. The results showed that FOMO has a significant positive effect on consumer purchase decisions with a total tcal value of 6.558 1.985 with a sig value of 0.000 0.05 and has a regression coefficient value of 0.608. Digital promotion also has a significant effect on purchase decisions with a tcal value of 2.436 1.985 with a sig value of 0.017 0.05 and has a regression coefficient value of 0.197. In the simultaneous test, the variables of FOMO and digital promotion had an effect simultaneously with the magnitude of influence of 34.4% while 65.6% was influenced by factors outside this study.

Abstract

Consumer buying decisions for shoe products are supported by high electronic word of mouth on social media. The more popular a shoe brand is, the better the brand image of the shoe will be for consumers. Perceived price or perception of price that matches quality will also be a consumer consideration. This study aims to analyze how electronic word of mouth, brand image, and perceived price influence buying decisions of Compass shoe users in Medan City. The influence of electronic word of mouth, brand image, and perceived price will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on buying decisions. The form of research used is quantitative with an associative approach. The population in this study is Compass shoe users in Medan City. Sampling was carried out through purposive sampling technique and used 100 respondents as samples. Primary data used in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires directly and secondary data were obtained through literature studies. The analysis methods used are validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that electronic word of mouth (X1), brand image (X2), and perceived price (X3) have a significant effect both partially and simultaneously on the buying decision of Compass shoes in Medan City (Y). The coefficient of determination test shows that there is a very close relationship between electronic word of mouth, brand image, perceived price on buying decisions with an R value of 0.897. Through the adjusted R square value, it is also known that the electronic word of mouth, brand image, and perceived price variables contribute 79.8% to the buying decision variable while the remaining 20.2% is influenced by variables outside this study.
