Abstract

Latar Belakang : Pada era globalisasi ini persaingan bisnis menjadi sangat tajam baik di pasar domestik maupun pasar internasional global. Siap tidak siap seluruh bangsa di dunia akan memasuki era revolusi 4.0. Pihak perusahaan harus mampu membuat strategi pemasaran yang mampu bersaing dengan cafe-cafe lain, di antaranya bisa memanfaat teknologi yakni memasarkan secara online melalui jasa pengiriman pesanan kepada konsumen. Tujuan : Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peningkatan omzet pada Foresthree di Kota Jambi saat bermitra dengan Grab-Food. Penelitian ini juga akan melihat apakah strategi yang dilakukan Foresthree Kota Baru sudah benar-benar tepat. Metode : Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang didukung dengan data kuantitatif. Hasil : Penelitian ini bermaksud menggambarkan kejadian atau fakta yang terdapat pada suatu objek penelitian dengan cara melakukan wawancara yang dibandingkan dengan data pendukung yang didapatkan dengan cara penyebaran kueisioner. Kesimpulan : Penjualan online yang dilakukan Foresthree Kota Baru melalui merchant Grab-food dinilai berhasil meningkatkan omzet dan membantu Foresthree untuk mencapai target penjualan kurang lebih sebesar 20%. Target penjualan yang ditetapkan Foresthree sendiri sebesar Rp. 150.000.000 perbulan dan penjualan yang didapat dari merchant Grab-food saja bisa mencapai Rp. 12.000.000 perbulan dan disetiap bulan meningkat.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of organizational culture on employee engagement. The populations in this research are library officers of Universitas Negeri Medan. This research uses a non-probability sampling technique with the kind of saturated samples. Data were collected using a survey method and then analyzed by using simple linear regression.The results of the research conducted indicate that the organizational culture (X) has a significant effect on employee engagement (Y).

Abstract

The importance of entrepreneurship in society is not just to make improvements and changes in quality of life community, but also also proven to play a significant role in realizing the quality of the people and the nation. This study aims to determine the factors that determine the success of entrepreneurs in entrepreneurs in the city of Medan. This study uses quantitative research methods through the provision of questionnaires using predetermined indicator indicators in addition to extracting information through in-depth interviews. The results of the study show that lifestyle variables influence the success of an entrepreneur. In addition, lifestyle variables have a significant effect onsuccess variables entrepreneurial. So, the hypothesis is acceptable, namely the existence of partial lifestyle influences onsuccess intentions entrepreneurial. The results of partial tests explain that psychological capital variables (X2) have a positive effect. In addition, psychological capital variables have a significant effect onsuccess variables entrepreneurship. So, the hypothesis can be accepted, namely the influence of psychological capital partially onsuccess intentions. entrepreneurialThat individual talent variable (X3) has a positive effect and individual talent variables influencesuccess. entrepreneurIndividual talent variables have a significant effect onsuccess variables entrepreneurship. So, hypothesis 3 is acceptable, that is, the influence of individual talents partially on theintention to succeed  entrepreneur's.

Abstract

As a SME industry many challenges faced by entrepreneurs in central SMEs Pasar Bengkel to remain able to survive. The construction of the Medan - Tebing Tinggi toll road becomes a challenge for SMEs Pasar Bengkel entrepreneurs to remain able to survive in the business souvenirs typical Market Bengkel in Serdang Bedagai regency. For that apply the Business Canvas Model as one of the solutions for SMEs to be able to survive in reaching the target market. This study aims to support the model of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), using a canvas model developed by Alexander Osterwalder. Based on the variables raised in this study and hypothesis model, this research includes descriptive research. Based on the nine blocks as the tools used in the customer segment is the customer that must be managed is the customer who accidentally came to shop, the value proposition of selling quality products in mass production that can be sold or deposited to other business actors. Marketing channels using social media and other promotional tools. Customer relationships with respect to hospitality, display products and provide food processing information to customers. In revenue streams using business to business activities; mass sales and do mouth to mouth marketing strategies. The main resources use various sources such as raw materials, equipment and technology utilization. Key activities that social media management can take and management of production and materials. Partnership is done to farmers and government. Pay attention to the cost structure of product processing, wages, packaging and equipment maintenance.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the spearheads of a country's economy. The development of MSMEs, especially in Indonesia, continues to grow from year to year, one of the MSMEs that continues to grow is the textile and textile product processing sector (TPT) or commonly known as the convection business. The great prospect makes competition in this sector even tighter, so that convection business actors must have a strategy that can be used to compete, one of which is using a marketing strategy. This study aims to identify and analyze the marketing strategies used by the convection business in Medan Denai District in carrying out business activities in making clothing products so that they can compete with similar businesses. The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were obtained from both primary and secondary data. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained through related agency data and literature study. The data analysis technique used is the SWOT method.The results of the study show that MSMEs in Medan Denai Sub-district in their marketing strategy apply a marketing mix strategy in marketing their products, namely through product strategies, pricing strategies, distribution channel strategies and promotional strategies. To win the competition with similar businesses, MSMEs in Medan Denai District can use a combination of SO (strength opportunity) strategies, namely by expanding market share, improving the quality of human resources, improving product and service quality and maximizing promotions

Abstract

The state of the pandemic has caused several government policies that have limited public activities in interacting. This certainly has an impact on various sectors of the company. The impact that can be felt by the company is the implementation of WFH in its operational activities. With the existence of WFH, companies make decisions to reduce the compensation. This has an impact on employee productivity. Therefore, the BPJS Employment of the Sumbagut Regional Office must pay attention to the implementation of WFH and the provision of compensation properly so that employee performance gets better. This study aims to determine the effect of WFH and compensation on employee productivity at the Employment of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Kanwil Sumbagut. This study uses quantitative methods involving 30 employees as a sample. The sampling technique is saturated sampling. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used instrument test of validity, reliability, classical assumption test, and hypothesis test using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS. The results of this study indicate that the WFH and compensation variables significantly and simultaneously affect employee productivity. The influence given by the WFH and Compensation variables contributed 41.2% to the employee productivity variable.

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility is a form of responsibility from the company for social life and the environment both within the company and around the company. PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk is here to provide Corporate Social Responsibility programs, especially in Parmaksian District where the company was founded. However, there is still news that PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk does not give enough care to the community and operational activities that have a negative impact on the community, causing protests for the company. This study aims to analyze how that is conducted by PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk and analyze how the effectiveness of the implemented programs for improving the welfare and quality of human resources in the Parmaksian District society during 2020-2021. So that it can be known whether the implemented programs by PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk company are running effectively. This study uses a qualitative method which aims to describe the phenomena that is occured. Data collection techniques that are used in this study are interviews, observation and documentation. This study collects information from interviewing informants consisting of key informants, main informants and additional informants. The data analysis technique uses the data reduction process, data presentation and discussion. The results of this study indictaes that the Corporate Social Responsibility programs of PT. Toba Pulp Lestari is running well and effectively in improving the welfare and quality of human resources of the Parmaksian District society during 2020-2021. However, there are still many Corporate Social Responsibility programs that need to be improved and added by PT. Toba Pulp Lestari so that the public welfare and the quality of human resources in the Parmaksian District community will be more advanced and better.

Abstract

Performance is the result of work that can be achieved by an employee in a company in accordance with the goals and standards set by the company. Optimizing performance, employees must be supported by excellent physical and psychological conditions. One that affects the psychological condition of employees is work-family conflict and work stress. Work-family conflict is a conflict between work and family roles that arise from home, while work stress arises from the company. If work-family conflict and work stress are high, it will cause employees not to focus on doing their jobs which will have an impact on employee performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of work- family conflict and work stress on the performance of employees of PT. The creation of the Tanjung Morawa Magnificent Box during the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses quantitative methods involving 67 respondents as research samples. Sampling was done through simple random sampling technique. Collecting data using a questionnaire distributed to respondents. The data analysis method used is validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the variables of work-family conflict and work stress together have a significant effect on employee performance. The influence given by the work-family conflict and work stress variables contributed 29.2% to the employee performance variable.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of transformational leadership on job satisfaction, the influence of transformational leadership on employee performance, the influence of job satisfaction on employee performance and to assess job satisfaction as an intervening variable at PT. The form of research used in this research is quantitative research with an associative approach. Sampling was carried out using probability sampling techniques using 35 respondents as samples. The results of this research show that transformational leadership has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Transformational leadership has a significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance, and leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable.

Abstract

Work engagement with employees is important for the company. The existence of work engagement on employees can improve the company’s performance continuously. To be able to trigger the emergence of work engagement, the company conducts training with the aim of motivating, increasing skills and also expanding knowledge about work. In addition to training, servant leadership is also needed, namely leadership with care and good service, a servant leader makes his subordinates do the same thing as he does. The implementation of training and servant leadership is a challenge for companies considering the current Covid-19 Pandemic. Therefore companies are required to be able to do as much as possible. The study aims to analyze the impact of training and servant leadership on work engagement on employees at PT. Bank Sumut Balige Branch during the covid-19 pandemic. The impact of training and servant leadership will be severely tested, simultaneously against the work engagement. This form of research is a quantitative study with an associative approach. The population in this study is employees of PT. Bank Sumut Balige Branch and Silimbat Sub- Branch Office as many as 32 respondents. The method of analysis used is the validity test, the religious test, the classic assumption test, the linear regression analysis, and the hypothetical test. The result of this research is that Training has no effect and is not significant to the emergence of Work Engagement. Servant Leadership influences the emergence of Work Engagement. Training and Servant Leadership have simultaneous influences. Training and Servant Leadership contributed 24.9% to the emergence of Work Engagement. The rest is influenced by other variables such as organizational culture and other leadership models.
