Abstract

At this time many business people use digital as their marketing activities, including PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk conducts digital marketing on milennial generation in marketing Indihome products through social media so that the writer is interested in conducting research in this phenomenology. This study aims to determine the marketing of the digital era in milennial generation of indihome products at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk Divre I Medan. Digital era marketing is focused through social media such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and others that focus on millennial generation. The form of this research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach with the intention of describing events or facts contained in an object of research by conducting interviews and observations then analyzing the data obtained from the research location and comparing with theories. From this study it can be concluded that overall the phenomenology of marketing in the digital era in milennial generation of Indihome products implemented by PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk Divre I Medan has taken place where marketing is done through digital like on social media facebook, instagram, OLX, youtube. Marketing content on Instagram with the name (@IndiHome) and Facebook with the name (IndiHome) by using interesting images as done with celebrities, artists, influencers and promos which are done through feeds and stories on Instagram and Facebook. Youtube content with Bayu Prabowo's video titled Indihome 2P Review (Internet + TV).

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of digital marketing and word of mouth on the decision to visit Sikulikap Waterfall. The research method used is quantitative research with an associative approach. The population studied was Sikulikap Waterfall visitors. Sampling was done with purposive sampling technique. Data collection was done through questionnaires for primary data and literature study for secondary data. The analysis was conducted with validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The results of the research conducted show that the digital branding and word of mouth variables have a partial and significant effect on the decision to visit. Digital marketing and word of mouth variables also have a simultaneous and significant effect on decision making. The coefficient value also shows the relationship between digital marketing and word of mouth on visiting decisions is very strong with an R value of 0.710 or 71%. Adjusted R Square value is also known that digital marketing and word of mouth on visiting decisions is 49.4% while the remaining 50.6% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused changes in aspect of life. These changes have influenced the communication industry which created the concept of Video on Demand. Netflix is one of the streaming services that have a variety of shows such as movies, anime, documentaries, and many more. During the first time, Netflix came to Indonesia, they had many issues with government and public services. This research aims to analyze the effect of electronic word of mouth (E-WOM) and brand image on the purchase decision of Netflix subscriptions in Medan city. The research used an associative method with a quantitative approach. The sample and populations in this research are 100 people who have used Netflix in Medan City. Data were collected using a survey method and then analyzed by using simple linier regression. The results of the research conducted reveal that the E-WOM variable (X1) has no significant effect on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the brand image variable (X2) has significantly influenced purchasing decisions. However, E-WOM and brand image have an equal (simultaneous) effect on purchase decisions (Y). The result of the correlation coefficient (R) of 0.836, where this coefficient value shows the relationship between E-WOM and brand image on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the impact of employee motivation, work environment, and remuneration on performance at the Bank BTN Medan Branch Office. This study employs quantitative methodologies and utilizes 40 employees as samples. The sampling is determined by saturation sampling. A questionnaire with a Likert scale is distributed directly to respondents to collect data. Instrument test of reliability and validity, classical assumption test, and hypothesis test utilizing multiple linear regression analysis and SPSS. The findings revealed that work motivation, work environment, and salary had a significant and positive impact on the performance of Bank BTN Medan Branch Office personnel, either partially or simultaneously. The effect obtained was on the value of 75.7%, means that work motivation, work environment, and compensation received have a significant influence on the performance of its employees, although it is necessary to increase certain aspects so that the increase will also improve and enhance the performance of the employees of the Bank BTN Medan Branch Office.

Abstract

This research seeks to reveal the relationship between stressors (sources of work stress) and work motivation on work performance at the BRI unit of PadangMatinggi Padangsidimpuan. Work motivation will be studied partly and concurrently in relation to Stressors. This research employs a quantitative methodology with an associative approach, sampling thirty workers. This research used a saturated sample for its sampling procedure. Data was collected from respondents through the use of Likert-scale questionnaires that were sent to them directly. Instrument test of reliability validity, classical assumption test, and hypothesis test employing multiple linear regression analysis in SPSS constituted the data analysis approach. The results of this study indicate that partially, Stressors have a positive and significant effect on work performance and work motivation has a positive and significant influence on work achievement. Simultaneously, Stressors and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on work achievement. The results of the coefficient of determination test showed that R was 0.757 or 75.7%. The Adjusted R Square value is 54.2% while the remaining 45.8% is influenced by other variables not explained in this study. This shows that the higher the Stressor and work motivation felt by the employees, the work achievement of the employees of BRI Unit of Padangmatinggi, Padangsidimpuan will increase.

Abstract

This study seeks to explore how Store Atmosphere influences consumer purchase decisions on Eiger Store Setia Budi, Medan. This study's population consisted of customers of the Eiger Store Setiabudi Medan. The samples taken were 96 respondents. The data was obtained by distributing the questionnaires. Data analysis was done by Simple linear analysis and instrument tests in the form of validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests in the form of normality and heteroscedasticity tests, as well as hypothesis testing utilizing the T test and coefficient of determination test. According to the findings of this study, the Store Atmosphere has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. This is evident from the 0,540 value of the regression coefficient for the variable Store Atmosphere (X). The t value of the Store Atmosphere (X) variable was 6,299 with a significance level of 0,000, as determined by researchers using a partial test (T-Test) to test the null hypothesis. The value of t table (df = 96 - 2) is 1,985, therefore t statistic > t table (6,299 > 1,985) and it can be concluded that the Store Atmosphere variable has a significant influence on purchase decisions, as indicated by the significant value 0,000 < 0,050.

Abstract

In the current era of the COVID-19 pandemic, people are expected to be able to engage directly in the digital world. As done by PT. Sucofindo Medan. Continuous technological innovation is the company's obligation to be able to compete with competitors. Therefore, PT. Sucofindo Medan must update the marketing strategy used. The aim of this research is to analyze the growth of the service business and marketing strategies used in the digital era during the COVID-19 pandemic at PT. Sucofindo. The theory used is to look at the company's Value Preposition which is connected to the marketing mix indicator. Based on the research results, it is known that the application of Value Preposition becomes a company evaluation based on the Customer Profile indicator, namely Customer Jobs, pains, and gains, which explain the desires and obstacles felt by consumers. The company provides solutions for Product and Services indicators, Gain Creators and Pain Relievers. The combination of Value Preposition Marketing Mix on company promotion indicators can be improved by developing many applications that can help potential customers, one of which is KSO-SCISI, which is able to monitor orders, receive payments, and accommodate customer feedback so that service is more optimal.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of work-life balance and emotional intelligence on employee performance within PT State Savings Bank's Medan Branch Office Consumer Collection Recovery and Asset Sales Unit Division, employing a quantitative research approach. The 61 employees in this division serve as the study's population, selected using a nonprobability sampling technique with a saturated sample model. Data collection involves primary methods like observation, interviews, and questionnaires, supplemented by secondary data gathered through library research. Through a series of analytical procedures, including validity and reliability tests, classic assumption tests, multiple linear analysis, and hypothesis testing, the research reveals that both work-life balance and emotional intelligence have significant individual effects on employee performance. Furthermore, when considered collectively, these variables exhibit a substantial influence on employee performance, as indicated by an R value of 0.885 or 88.5%. The adjusted R Square value shows that work-life balance and emotional intelligence can account for 77.6% of the variance in employee performance, while the remaining 22.4% is influenced by unexamined factors.

Abstract

To obtain good quality employees, organizations need to pay attention to the recruitment and development process, because from recruitment, competent employees will be found or in accordance with the criteria determined by the company, employee development is carried out so that employee knowledge can increase and with employee development can help realize the goals of the company. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the recruitment program is implemented by Sojourner Creative Agency and to analyze how the steps of developing human resources are to improve employee performance at Sojourner Creative Agency. This study collects information from interviewing informants consisting of key informants, main informants and additional informants. The data analysis technique uses the data reduction process, data presentation and discussion. The results of this study show that in the recruitment process carried out by Sojourner Creative Agency has been well pursued, companies recruit employees by looking at the abilities and potential of employees in the field of videography and photography, in the process of developing employees the company develops in terms of providing motivation, self-development, and developing employee skills, employees are also supervised and evaluated in every job done and this can help in the process of improving employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how leadership style and compensation in improving employee performance. This study uses a qualitative approach. Direct researchers act as the primary research tool, which carries out the research process directly and actively interviews, collects, processes data/data analysis, reports, and concludes. This research uses case study research; a case study is carried out in an incentive, detailed and in-depth manner towards an organization or institution. The study results show that The Clinic Beautylosophy Medan applies a participatory leadership style model, as seen from several interviews. Compensation at The Clinic Beautylosophy Medan in the form of direct and indirect compensation. To improve performance at The Clinic Beautylosophy Medan, the leadership style and the provision of compensation, both of which are carried out well by the leadership, make employees enthusiastic in carrying out their duties to achieve organizational goals quickly.
