Abstract

Impulse buying merupakan tindakan pembeli untuk melakukan transaksi diinginkan namun tidak dibutuhkan. Pihak Shopee harus memahami fenomena dan mempelajari faktor-faktor  penyebab konsumen melakukan impulse buying seperti social media marketing,diskon, dan gaya hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh social media marketing, diskon dan gaya hidup  terhadap impulse buying. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Pengguna Shopee di Kota Medan, dengan sampel berjumlah 100 responden, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Data primer diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung dan data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Social Media Marketing, Diskon dan Gaya Hidup berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Impulse Buying. Pada pengujian simultan variabel Social Media Marketing, Diskon dan Gaya Hidup berpengaruh secara simultan dengan tingkat pengaruh sebesar  34,9%, sedangkan 65,1% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor di luar model penelitian ini.

Abstract

Pada perkembangan era globalisasi saat ini menyebabkan berkembangnya teknologi yang semakin dinamis, hal ini membuat konsumen dapat dengan cepat mengetahui informasi tentang keberadaan suatu produk. Pelaku usaha dituntut dengan cepat dan tepat untuk bertindak agar tidak kalah bersaing. Salah satu cafe yang ada pada kota Medan yaitu Cafe In Out yang melakukan Strategi pemasaran untuk menarik perhatian konsumen menggunakan harga, lokasi dan digital marketing efektif untuk meningkatkan keputusan pembelian. Tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga, lokasi dan digital marketing terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Cafe In Out pada pelanggan Cafe In Out. Analisa data yang digunakan secara parsial dan secara simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian impulsif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Dengan sampel non-probability sampling dan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak  100 responden. Data primer diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung dan     data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel harga, lokasi dan digital marketing berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial dan simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian pada Cafe In Out dengan konstribusi sebesar 26,4%,

Abstract

Keberadaan gadai–gadai swasta di kota Medan memberikan kemudahan bagi masyarakat dalam memperoleh dana cepat tanpa perlu persyaratan yang rumit seperti pada lembaga keuangan konvensional (bank). Tetapi kendala berupa syarat permodalan awal dalam modal usaha yang cukup tinggi dan adanya support negatif dari pihak lingkungan keluarga yang menjadi pertimbangan khusus dalam memulai usaha gadai di kota Medan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh modal usaha dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap keputusan wirausahwan membuka usaha gadai di kota Medan. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif dengan populasi seluruh gadai di kota Medan berjumlah 33 gadai dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji instrumen, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modal usaha dan lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh signifikan baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan terhadap keputusan wirausahawan membuka usaha gadai di kota Medan. Uji koefisien deteminasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang sangat erat antara modal usaha dan lingkungan keluarga dengan nilai R sebesar 0,908 dengan berkontribusi sebesar 81,2%.

Abstract

Pada beberapa tahun belakangan ini loyalitas kerja karyawan menurun dikarenakan adanya penurunan jumlah karyawan pada perusahaan dan kurang terbukanya informasi mengenai career development. Sehingga loyalitas kerja karyawan belum maksimal dirasakan oleh perusahaan. Bentuk penelitan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui teknik sampling jenuh dengan 38 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel career development dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap loyalitas kerja karyawan dan seluruh variabel bebas secara simultan mempengaruhi loyalitas kerja karyawan. Nilai Adjusted R Square diketahui bahwa variabel career development dan motivasi kerja berkontribusi sebesar 37% terhadap variabel loyalitas kerja karyawan sedangkan sisanya sebesar 63% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Impulse buying is a buying decision by consumers spontaneously shortly after seeing a product offer, nowadays people are increasingly making impulse purchases because of their lifestyle, especially in fashion products. Retailers must understand the phenomenon and study the factors causing it so as to be able to maximize it, to be able to attract consumers to make impulse buying. This study aims to determine the effect of shopping lifestyle and fashion involvement on impulse buying behavior. The form of this research is quantitative research with an associative approach. The population in this study were consumers of Delipark Mall Medan with a sample of 100 people. The data collection technique was carried out with primary data with questionnaires through google form. The results of this study indicate that shopping lifestyle and fashion involvement have a significant effect on impulse buying behavior. In simultaneous testing, the shopping lifestyle and fashion involvement variables have a simultaneous effect on impulse buying behavior, with the magnitude of the relationship between the Shopping Lifestyle and Fashion Involvement variables on the Impulse Buying Behavior variable of 0.561, with a fairly close category. While the remaining 30% is influenced by other variables beyond this study.

Abstract

Cooperatives are a place for a group of people to cooperate to improve the economic welfare together. Cooperatives have professionally managed human resources who can help balance the Indonesian economy and the growth of the cooperative's sales targets. The Indonesian Farmers Cooperative (KPI) in Medan City, which has not yet maximized the performance produced by the members of the cooperative which resulted in a decrease in sales produced by the cooperative. The researcher discusses the Influence of Organizational Culture and Spirit at Work on Employee Performance of the Indonesian Peasants Cooperative (KPI) in Medan City. The form of research used in this research is quantitative by using the associative approach method. The results of this study indicate that the variables of organizational culture and work spirit together affect employee performance variables. It can be seen in the results of the Simultaneous test (F test) which shows that the Fstatistic value obtained is 49.966, which means that the fstatistic value is greater than the Ftable value, namely 49.966 > 3.32 or based on a significant value that is 0.000 <0.05. Determination test shows that R is 0.877 or 87.7%, the remaining 24.6% is influenced by other variables that are not explained in this study. In conclusion, the organizational culture variable (X1) and the work spirit variable (X2) have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work ethic on employee performance, ascertain the impact of organizational commitment on employee performance, and determine the combined influence of work ethic and organizational commitment on employee performance. The research is of a quantitative nature with an associative approach. The study's population consists of employees at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Medan Branch Office. Simple random sampling was employed to select a sample of 61 respondents. The findings reveal that the work ethic variable (X1) significantly affects employee performance, as does organizational commitment (X2). Work ethic and organizational commitment collectively influence employee performance. The determination test yielded a correlation coefficient (R) value of 0.661, indicating a relatively strong relationship between work ethic, organizational commitment, and employee performance. The adjusted R-square value, or coefficient of determination, suggests that 41.7% of employee performance variance can be explained by work ethic and organizational commitment variables, while the remaining 58.2% is influenced by other unexamined variables.

Abstract

MSME entrepreneurship is one aspect of local economic development while contributing to the employment network in Medan city. With the existence of MSMEs, they are able to contribute to regional economic development and reduce unemployment. However, in the process of running a business, there are obstacles for entrepreneurs, namely the lack of entrepreneurial skills and lack of motivation in entrepreneurship which can affect the success of MSMEs. This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial skills and entrepreneurial motivation on business success in MSMEs in Medan city. The form of research used is quantitative with an associative approach. The population in this study were MSMEs in Medan City. With a sample of 100 respondents, the sample approach used in this study was non-probability sampling in the form of purposive sampling. Primary data obtained through direct distribution of questionnaires and secondary data obtained through literature studies. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurial skills have a significant positive effect on business success, obtained a tcount value of 4.420> 1.984 with a sig value of 0.001 <0.05 and has a regression coefficient value of 0.325. Entrepreneurial motivation also has a significant positive effect on business success, obtained a tcount value of 2.680> 1.984 with a sig value of 0.009 <0.05 and has a regression coefficient value of 0.235. In simultaneous testing of entrepreneurial skills and entrepreneurial motivation variables simultaneously affect the level of influence of 49.7% while the remaining 50.3% is influenced by factors outside this study.

Abstract

Globalisasi meningkatkan transparansi dan persaingan di industri fashion. Fenomena "Fashion statement" menunjukkan kebebasan individu dalam berpakaian. Kota Medan memiliki potensi sebagai pasar fashion dan dapat memengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen. Erigo, salah satu merek lokal yang berusaha menarik minat konsumen di Indonesia. Namun, perusahaan ini masih perlu meningkatkan Ethnocentrism, brand image dan lifestyle untuk menjangkau konsumen di Kota Medan agar melakukan buying decision. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Ethnocentrism, Brand image dan LifeStyle terhadap Buying Decision pada Customer Erigo Kota Medan. Pengaruh Ethnocentrism, Brand image dan LifeStyle akan dianalisis secara parsial dan simultan terhadap buying decision. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen Erigo di Kota Medan, dengan sampel yang berjumlah 96 responden, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Data primer diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung dan data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji instrumen, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Ethnocentrism berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel Buying Decision, nilai t-hitung sebesar 2,671 > 1,986 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,009 < 0,05 serta memiliki nilai koefisien regresi yang bernilai 0,460. Brand image berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel Buying Decision diperoleh nilai t-hitung sebesar 4,955 > 1,986 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 serta memiliki nilai koefisien regresi yang bernilai 0,739. Lifestyle berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel Buying Decision diperoleh nilai t-hitung sebesar 2,703 > 1,986 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,008 < 0,05 serta memiliki nilai koefisien regresi yang bernilai 0,411. Pada pengujian simultan variabel Ethnocentrism, Brand image dan Lifestyle berpengaruh secara simultan sebesar 41,7% sedangkan 58,3% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor di luar model penelitian ini.

Abstract

Grab is a transportation technology service company that aims to improve the welfare of its workers. The problem is that flexible time and place, as well as job satisfaction that does not match the wages they earn, causes some Grab bike drivers to work not just for one partner but with two partners to meet the drivers' living needs. This research aims to analyze the influence of flexible work arrangements and job satisfaction on the work commitment of Grab bike drivers in the city of Medan. The form of this research is quantitative with a sample size of 96 respondents carried out using accidental sampling techniques. Primary data in this research was obtained by distributing questionnaires directly and secondary data was obtained through literature study. The results of this research show that flexible work arrangements (X1) and job satisfaction (X2) have a significant effect, both partially and simultaneously, on the work commitment of Grab bike drivers in Medan City. The coefficient of determination test shows that there is a close relationship between flexible work arrangements and job satisfaction with work commitment with an R value of 0.754. Through the adjusted R square value, it is also known that the flexible work arrangement and job satisfaction variables contribute 55.5% to the work commitment variable while the remaining 44.5% is influenced by other variables outside this research model.
