Abstract

Maintenance is an action to repair or prevent machine damage. Smooth production processes are demands that must be met so that company targets can be achieved. This happens due to damage to the machine or waiting for the ordered unit/parts to arrive to replace the damaged spare part. As a result, the agreed product completion time is not met. This study was conducted on the Sludge Separator machine by calculating the value of the damage rate function, the reliability function of critical components during production under certain conditions and periods. The data collected are data on the use of spare part damage data throughout 2021 and 2022 and the purchase price per unit of spare parts, therefore, to solve this problem, planned maintenance (corrective maintenance) is needed with a reliability approach. The data is processed using the reliability method by applying the Weibull distribution damage rate function to determine the amount of critical component inventory over a period of two years. The results of the study show that critical components are distributed Weibull. Based on the critical components that have been determined by the Weibull method over a period of two years for each critical component is the Bowl Spindle component as many as 3 units of optimal order (Q*) = 1 unit/order reorder point (r) = 1 unit) paring Disc as many as 2 units (Q* = 1 unit/order, r = 1 unit) 2.6546, Friction Pad & Screw as many as 4 units (Q* = 3 units/order, r = 1 unit) = 1.5576 V Nozzle Q 1.60 mm 3 units (Q* = 1 unit/order, r = 1 unit) = 2.0970.

Abstract

Enforcement of traffic rules is regulated in Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation and Government Regulation No. 80 of 2012 concerning Procedures for Inspecting Motorized Vehicles on the Road and Enforcement of Traffic and Road Transportation Violations. The development of an electronic-based law enforcement system gave birth to Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement as an innovation to overcome obstacles in the application of manual fines. However, in its application, ETLE was also not free from various problems, so the urgency was born to conduct research to find out and compare the procedures for applying manual and ETLE tickets and how to apply future tickets in Indonesia, especially in the city of Padang as a research location. This study uses empirical juridical methods, the data used is primary data from interviews with Padang Police TMC operators and secondary data is in the form of document studies. The result of the research is that manual poles are directly imposed on violators by officers. Meanwhile, ETLE is a modern ticket system used by the police to monitor and prosecute traffic violations electronically with camera and sensor technology to identify vehicles that violate traffic rules, such as violating a red light or crossing the speed limit. Obstacles that occur in manual ticketing are low legal awareness from both law enforcers and the public. The obstacles that occur in ETLE are the limitations of static and mobile camera devices so that the application is not comprehensive. The application of fines in the future will still use a combination of manual and electronic ticketing due to the low level of public legal awareness and the uneven distribution of electronic ticketing devices in the city of Padang.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of sustainable education (Education for Sustainable Development, ESD) in managing organic waste in two schools, SMPN 1 Lawang Kidul and SMPN 1 Ujan Mas. Activities include material counseling, compost making practices, as well as evaluation using pretest and posttest methods to measure increases in student knowledge. The results showed a significant increase in students' knowledge level after the activity. Of the 30 participants at SMPN 1 Lawang Kidul, there was an increase of 121%. Meanwhile, the 37 participants at SMPN 1 Ujan Mas achieved an average increase in knowledge of 42.78%. This is because students at SMPN 1 Ujan Mas have higher initial knowledge abilities compared to students at SMPN 1 Lawang Kidul. This research highlights the importance of ESD in increasing students' environmental awareness and making a positive contribution to organic waste management practices in schools.

Abstract

In Indonesia's criminal justice system, imprisonment is a sanction commonly imposed on perpetrators of criminal acts. This condition is not in line with Indonesian society, which is a communal society that prioritizes solving problems through deliberation and consensus. Therefore, there is a tendency in Indonesian society to use a restorative justice approach in resolving criminal law problems. This approach has been recognized and adopted by law enforcement agencies such as the Police. This approach has been adopted in the Republic of Indonesia State Police Regulation (Perkap) Number 8 of 2021 concerning the Guideline for Handling Criminal Acts Based on Restorative Justice. This approach is a new paradigm in the strategy for handling criminal cases by the Police. Resolving criminal acts through this approach also involves the perpetrator, victim, victim's family, community leaders, religious leaders, and traditional leaders in seeking a peaceful resolution by restoring the original situation. This research aims to study how the restorative justice approach is run by the Police in solving a criminal case at Payakumbuh Police Region and the obstacles faced by the Police. The research is carried out through sociological–juridical legal research emphasizing field research. In addition, this research also applies a study of existing legal materials. This descriptive research intends to describe the reality studied clearly and systematically. This research finds that the Payakumbuh Police officers have implemented this restorative justice approach to most criminal cases. In implementing this approach, the police officers encountered several juridical and non-juridical obstacles. Legal obstacles relate to the multi-interpretation of a legal norm, while practical obstacles are complicated procedures, difficulties finding an agreement, and compensation issues.
