Abstract

Riau Tennis Camp's tennis performance is currently experiencing a decline, this can be seen by the absence of Riau Tennis Camp players winning the National Junior Tennis Championship in Singles. To achieve maximum performance, you need maximum practice, especially in mastering basic tennis techniques. The most dominant basic technique in tennis is the forehand groundstroke. So this research aims to improve basic tennis technical skills, especially Forehand Drive Tennis. This research is an R and D development research on the development of a field tennis Forehand Drive training model based on playing situations using the Borg and Gall development model which includes 10 R&D research stages as follows: (1)Research and information collecting (research and data collection), (2)Planning (planning), (3) (initial product draft development), (4) Expert validation, (5) Revision of expert validation results, (6) (main field trial), (7) (revisions to products), (8) (conducting operational field trials), (9) (final product revision), (10) (dissemination and implementation)

Abstract

The importance of awareness of fire risks in the community, especially at airports, encourages the need for effective prevention and countermeasures. Community service by lecturers of the D.III PKP Study Program through this training aims to provide knowledge and skills to the community of airport service users, especially workers in tenants, regarding how to prevent and overcome fires. Involving the Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi concept, this training not only touches on aspects of fire prevention but also discusses fire phenomena, risk analysis, emergency response, and fire management. It is hoped that training participants will benefit them through increased knowledge and understanding that can increase awareness of fire risks so that the community around Soekarno-Hatta International Airport can be better prepared and trained in dealing with potential fire hazards.

Abstract

The naval diplomacy is an important instrument in foreign policy to maintain maritime security and protect national interests at sea. This problematic focuses on actual matters that influence the behavior of other countries through naval presence, actions and communications. Maritime security includes protection against non-traditional threats such as piracy, terrorism, smuggling, as well as enforcement of maritime law and international agreements. Cooperation between countries in naval diplomacy is very important to overcome cross-border maritime security threats. Cooperation mechanisms include joint military exercises, intelligence information sharing, and maritime law enforcement. The navy plays an important role in ensuring maritime security through security patrols, search and rescue operations, and diplomatic support. In the context of maritime security, naval diplomacy emphasizes the importance of cooperation between countries and the efforts made by navies to counter threats at sea. This cooperation includes joint military exercises, sharing intelligence information, and maritime law enforcement. Therefore, this is an effective instrument in maintaining maritime security and stability in the world's maritime strategic areas. The research methodology used includes a literature review accompanied by a survey to collect qualitative data on perceptions and related practices. It is hoped that this research can provide alternative actual decisions on how to identify opportunities and challenges faced in the sea sector in facing increasingly complex and dynamic maritime threats, as well as provide relevant recommendations for policy makers and practitioners. Diplomasi angkatan laut sebagai instrumen penting dalam kebijakan luar negeri untuk menjaga keamanan maritim dan melindungi kepentingan nasional di laut. Problematika ini berfokus pada hal-hal aktual yang mempengaruhi perilaku negara lain melalui kehadiran, tindakan, dan komunikasi angkatan laut. Keamanan maritim mencakup perlindungan terhadap ancaman non-tradisional seperti pembajakan, terorisme, penyelundupan, serta penegakan hukum maritim dan perjanjian internasional. Kerja sama antar negara dalam diplomasi angkatan laut sangat penting untuk mengatasi ancaman keamanan maritim lintas batas. Mekanisme kerja sama termasuk latihan militer bersama, berbagi informasi intelijen, dan penegakan hukum maritim. Angkatan laut memainkan peran penting dalam memastikan keamanan maritim melalui patroli keamanan, operasi pencarian dan penyelamatan, dan dukungan diplomatik. Dalam konteks keamanan maritim, diplomasi angkatan laut menekankan pentingnya kerjasama antar negara dan upaya yang dilakukan angkatan laut untuk melawan ancaman di laut. Kerja sama ini meliputi latihan militer bersama, berbagi informasi intelijen, dan penegakan hukum maritim. Oleh karena itu, hal ini menjadi instrumen yang efektif dalam menjaga keamanan dan stabilitas maritim di kawasan strategis maritim dunia. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan meliputi tinjauan pustaka disertai survei untuk mengumpulkan data kualitatif pada persepsi dan praktik terkait. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan alternatif keputusan aktual tentang bagaimana mengidentifikasi peluang dan tantangan yang dihadapi di matra laut dalam menghadapi ancaman maritim yang semakin kompleks dan dinamis, serta memberikan rekomendasi yang relevan bagi pembuat kebijakan dan praktisi.

Abstract

During the Asian Winter season, which spans from November to February, the phenomenon of cold surge often occurs, leading to increased convective activity over the western Indonesian Maritime Continent. The location of Natuna Island, situated in the southern part of the South China Sea, is of particular importance for studying cold surges due to their propagation over this area. In this study, the vertical structure of the atmosphere was analyzed using radiosonde observation data collected at the Meteorological Station of Ranai Natuna. The analysis focused on physical parameters such as air temperature and relative humidity, atmospheric kinematics including wind direction and speed, as well as atmospheric thermodynamic parameters such as Lifting Condensation Level (LCL), Level of Free Convection (LFC), Equilibrium Level (EL), Convective Available Potential Energy (CAPE), and Convective Inhibition (CIN). The results indicate that during the passage of a cold surge, air temperature (T) tends to be higher in the lower troposphere, including at the surface, but lower in the middle and upper troposphere. Relative humidity (RH) also tends to be higher during cold surges, with a significant increase in the middle and upper troposphere. In the lower troposphere, the wind direction shifts from east to northeast at a higher speed compared to when a cold surge is absent. Furthermore, the LCL and LFC heights are elevated during the presence of a cold surge, while the EL height shows an insignificant decrease. It is worth noting that intense rainfall occurs, particularly when the cold surge is more pronounced, even though the values of CAPE and CIN do not change significantly.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPeningkatan mutu genetik ternak dapat dilihat dari aspek reproduksi yaitu hubungan antara usia, berat badan, karakteristik testis, dan ukuran tubuh. Beberapa penelitian menemukan adanya hubungan dekat antara pertumbuhan testis (melalui lingkar skrotum) dan bobot badan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui keeratan korelasi bobot badan dengan kualitas semen pada kambing peranakan etawah (PE).  Sebanyak delapan ekor kambing PE jantan ditimbang menggunakan timbangan khusus dan semen dikoleksi dengan menggunakan vagina buatan untuk selanjutnya dievaluasi secara makroskopis dan mikroskopis.  Data pengukuran bobot badan dan hasil evaluasi semen disajikan dengan rerata dan standar deviasi.  Analisis data menggunakan koefisien korelasi. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa koefisien korelasi antara bobot badan dengan lingkar skrotum sebesar 0,34 serta, bobot badan dengan volume semen dan konsentrasi spermatozoa secara berturut-turut adalah -0,28, dan 0,33. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, bobot badan menjadi salah satu parameter dalam menentukan pejantan unggul pada kambing PE.Kata Kunci: Kambing PE, bobot badan, lingkar skrotum, kualitas semenRelationships of Body Weight with Scrotal Circumference and Semen Quality of Etawah CrossbreedABSTRACTImproving the genetic quality of bucks can be seen from the reproductive aspect, that is the relationship between age, body weight, testes characteristics, and body size. Several studies have found a close relationship between testicular growth and body weight. The experiment was conducted to determine the correlation between body weight with scrotal circumference and semen quality of etawah crossbreeds. A total of eight etawah crossbreed goat males measured body weight and semen collected with artificial vagina and evaluated of macroscopic and microscopic. Data of body weight measurement and semen evaluation results are presented with mean and standard deviation.  Data were analyzed by coefficient correlation analysis using SPSS software 16.0 version. The results indicated that correlation between body weight with scrotal circumference 0.34, with semen volume and concentration of spermatozoa, were -0.28 and 0.33 respectively. Based result of this study, body weight can be a parameter in determining superior males in the etawah crossbreed.Keywords: etawah crossbreed, body weight, scrotal circumference, semen quality

Abstract

Given Indonesia's vulnerability to a diverse range of natural and man-made catastrophes, it is crucial to have a well-executed disaster management system in place. The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), as the agency responsible for disaster relief in Indonesia, emphasizes the importance of this matter. This study examines the enhancement of disaster logistics, specifically focusing on the difficulties related to the fast movement of humanitarian aid supplies. The main challenge in disaster logistics is the uncertainty of demand following the occurrence of the disaster, together with the possibility of supply disruptions caused by insufficient inventory in warehouses. This research places significant emphasis on expedited delivery of humanitarian aid supplies, which are crucial for prompt relief operations, especially in situations with limited preparation time. The main aim of the study is to create a safety stock level policy for BNPB's national warehouse, which will be determined by analyzing forecasts of demand and lead times. The research findings for the year 2022 indicate a low percentage of errors in demand predictions. This result emphasizes the efficacy of the safety stock strategy in actively dealing with sudden increases in demand and reducing uncertainty associated with supply schedules.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara daring pada masa pandemi Covid-19 menghadirkan permasalahan tersendiri bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan permasalahan anak berkebutuhan khusus pada saat pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualititatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan triangulasi. Teknik analisisnya menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif dengan tahapan reduksi, verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan pembelajaran anak berkebutuhan khusus di era pandemic merupakan suatu permasalahan yang kompleks, dan di urai menjadi tiga factor, yaitu: 1). Faktor Sekolah. Kesulitan dan ketidak-siapan pihak sekolah terutama guru kelas dan guru pendamping khusus sebagai pembimbing anak dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran online yang inovatif. 2). Faktor Orang tua. Kurang menguasai teknologi, tidak memiliki pemahaman terkait dengan pendidikan anak berkebutuham khusus. 3). Faktor Lingkungan. Penelitian ini berdampak pada keberlanjutan kualitas pembelajaran anak berkebutuhan khusus sehingga pihak terkait akan berusaha lebih baik lagi untuk menyediakan layanan

Abstract

Pelatihan Pertolongan Pertama (First Aid) bagi personel TNI AU di Pangkalan Udara Atang Sendjaja merupakan bagian dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan personel dalam menangani situasi darurat medis. Meskipun personel telah memiliki dasar pengetahuan tentang keselamatan, pelatihan ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mendalam dan keterampilan praktis dalam Pertolongan Pertama. Pelatihan ini mencakup prinsip dasar pertolongan pertama, pengelolaan luka dan pendarahan, serta resusitasi jantung paru (RJP). Metode pelatihan melibatkan ceramah, diskusi, dan simulasi praktis, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan personel dalam menghadapi berbagai situasi darurat. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta, yang tercermin dari perbandingan nilai pre-test dan post-test. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini berhasil memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kapasitas personel TNI AU dalam menjaga keselamatan di lingkungan kerja. Pentingnya pelatihan ini terletak pada peran personel dalam memberikan pertolongan pertama yang efektif sebelum bantuan medis tiba secara signifikan dapat mengurangi risiko dan mempercepat pemulihan korban.

Abstract

PERBANDINGAN EFEK KERJA SENAM AEROBIK MIX IMPACT SELAMA 60 MENIT TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KADAR HIGH DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN (HDL) DALAM DARAH PADA KELOMPOK BODY MASS INDEX (BMI) OVERWEIGHT DAN NORMAL SISWA SMA NEGERI 3 DEPOK Wahyu Kurniawan1 Junaidi2, Yasep Setiakarnawijaya2 1Program Studi Ilmu Keolahragaan 2Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Kampus B, Jakarta Abstrak. High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL) adalah kolesterol baik yaitu lipoprotein dengan densitas tinggi, terutama terdiri atas protein. Kadar HDL yang tinggi diasosiasikan dengan rendahnya risiko terkena penyakit jantung. Karna HDL mengandung molekul antioksidan yang dapat mencegah perubahan Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) menjadi lipoprotein yang cenderung menyebabkan penyakit jantung. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui efek kerja senam aerobik mix impact selama 60 menit terhadap peningkatan kadar HDL dalam darah pada kelompok BMI overweight siswa SMA Negeri 3 Depok. (2) mengetahui efek kerja senam aerobik mix impact selama 60 menit terhadap peningkatan kadar HDL dalam darah pada kelompok BMI normal siswa SMA Negeri 3 Depok. (3) membandingkan peningkatan kadar HDL setelah melakukan senam aerobik mix impact selama 60 menit antara kelompok BMI overweight dan normal siswa SMA Negeri 3 Depok. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 3 Depok tanggal 12 Mei 2015. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen “Two Group Pre-test dan Post-test Design”, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling, sampel berjumlah 20 orang dari populasi 180 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t independen pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Data tes akhir kerja senam aerobik mix impact selama 60 menit pada kelompok BMI overweight dan normal diperoleh standar perbedaan antara dua mean (SEmxmy) = 0,61 nilai tersebut menjadi t-hitung diperoleh = 2,46. Kemudian hasil perhitungan tersebut di ujikan dengan tabel pada derajat kebebasan (dk) = (N1+N2) – 2 =(10+10) – 2 dan taraf kepercayaan 0,05 diperoleh nilai kritis t-tabel 2,10 (t-hitung = 2,46 > t-tabel = 2,101). Kata Kunci: High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL), Body Mass Index (BMI), Senam Aerobik Mix Impact.

Abstract

The engineering of an Arduino Uno-based gas leak detection device with an MQ-2 sensor was created to optimize security against gas leaks that occur. The public must know the signs of a leak, such as smelling gas, a hissing sound in the gas line and so on. The aim of engineering this tool is to create an Arduino Uno-based gas leak detection tool that uses the MQ-2 sensor on the LPG regulator. Gas leaks can cause risks such as fire and explosion, so it is important to have a gas detection system. When the sensor detects the presence of gas, the system will trigger a buzzer to provide an audible alarm and turn on the LED light as a visual indicator. The LCD will display the detection status with clear text, namely "Leak Danger" when gas is detected, and "Safe" when there is no leak. The test was carried out using a 3 kg LPG gas cylinder, with the results showing that the MQ-2 sensor could detect gas within 3 seconds. The results of this test prove that the tool developed is able to provide a fast response to gas leaks, so it can be a solution to increase the safety of LPG use.
