Abstract

Muhammadiyah dalam perumusan fatwa, tuntunan fikih, hingga tafsirnya menggunakan Manhaj Tarjih sebagai kerangka ijtihad. Pendekatan bayani, burhani, dan irfani menjadi ciri khas dari Manhaj Tarjih yang dimunculkan sebagai kerangka berfikir dan sumber dalam menafsirkan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh Manhaj Tarjih terhadap tafsir tentang konsep millah Ibrahim dalam Tafsir At-Tanwir. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari penelitian dengan metode library research. Penyajian data yang penulis teliti menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis. Penelitian ini memberikan penekanan pada konsistensi pendekatan bayani, burhani, dan irfani dalam produksi penafsiran konsep millah Ibrahim pada tafsir At-Tanwir. Hasil dari analisa pada penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa pendekatan bayani, burhani, dan irfani pada tafsir konsep millah Ibrahim terlihat konsisten dipakai dalm Tafsir At-Tanwir. Ditinjau dari realita penggunaannya, dominasi pendekatan yang digunakan terletak pada penggunaan pendekatan bayani dibandingkan dua pendekatan lainnya.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of socio-emotional parenting towards children's motivation for, and interest in, studying. More particularly, the parental influences were observed while the children studied at home during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample (n = 66) was drawn from the population of students in the sub-district of Sambas, in the West Kalimantan region of Indonesia. Data was examined to assess parental influences on improvement in children's motivation and interest. This quantitative research applied simple regression analysis to the data. The analysis implementation uses the classical assumption test and hypothesis test with the assistance of SPSS for Windows version 26. The research results show that (1) there was a significant influence of 7.3% of the socio-emotional parenting role towards children's motivation to study at home during the Covid-19 pandemic; (2) there was a significant influence of 18.4% in the role of socio-emotional parenting towards a child's interest in studying at home during the Covid-19 pandemic; and (3) there was a significant influence of as much as 64% on a child's interest in studying at home during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah implementasi kurikulum 2013 berdasarkan KMA nomor 183 dan 184 tahun 2019 di madrasah ibtidaiyah yang masih didapati problematika oleh guru sejarah kebudayaan Islam. Maka dari itu penelitian ini difokuskan untuk mengurai problematika yang masih dihadapi oleh guru SKI pada tiga aspek, yakni pengembangan materi, penerapan metode dan pendekatan pembelajaran, serta pemanfaatan teknologi informasi sebagai media pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, penelitian kualitatif ini mewawancarai beberapa guru SKI dan pimpinan madrasah yang ditunjang dengan hasil pengamatan dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Pengembangan materi dilakukan mengarah pada internalisasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama, namun dalam implementasinya guru belum mengintegrasikan materi dengan realitas kehidupan sosial peserta didik; 2). Penggunaan metode dan strategi pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru SKI relatif kurang variatif seperti belum mengintegrasikan metode pembelajaran; dan 3) Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi penunjang pembelajaran masih sangat terbatas. Untuk itu, perlu dimanfaatkan perangkat teknologi informasi agar lebih adaptif dalam pembelajaran, termasuk dalam menyambut penerapan kurikulum merdeka pada madrasah yang mulai diterapkan secara berangsur oleh Kementerian Agama

Abstract

This study aims to explain the strategy of Islamic religious education based on arts and culture at the Kaliopak Islamic Boarding School in Klenggotan, Piyungan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This research employs a qualitative method through observation, interviews, and documentation, with data validation using source triangulation. The findings indicate that the implemented strategies include direct, interactive, and empirical learning. As a result, students are able to comprehend the material, enhance their piety, develop a love for the Islamic arts and culture of the archipelago, and exhibit commendable character. Supporting factors include the exemplary behavior of the organizers, students’ enthusiasm for learning, support from the surrounding community, a comfortable learning environment, and adequate facilities. Challenges include the caregivers’ busy schedules, limited time, and less conducive activity arrangements. From the perspective of hadith, arts and culture are viewed as tools for fostering beauty, obedience, and monotheism in Islam.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the concept of inclusive based on Islamic education by examining the learning model of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) in PAUD critically and exploring how the development of religious aspects in the STEAM model can improve the holistic education of early childhood. The research method used by the authors is qualitative with library research, and the data collection used is documentation by searching for data from books, journals, and other sources related to the research problem and analysis techniques using content analysis. The research results generally emphasize that inclusive education in the STEAM context must integrate aspects of spirituality with science. Inclusive education based on multipotential and multidimensional is important in forming individuals who are tough and competitive in facing the challenges of the digital age. This aligns with the understanding that humans have multidimensionality, which needs to be developed comprehensively from an early age. Islamic inclusive education is by the Islamic view of human nature, where humans are created with various natures. In Islam, the term "insan kamil" emphasizes human perfection, both spiritually and materially. The aim of Islamic inclusive education is in line with Islamic education; it is to form individuals who are balanced between world life and the afterlife.

Abstract

This research discusses a comparative study of the concept of Insan Kamil and Seyyed Hossein Nasr's Pontifical Man. Insan Kamil can simply be interpreted as a perfect human being. Insan Kamil is a concept first coined by Ibn Arabi and developed by Abdul Karim al-Jili, which was then developed by many subsequent scholars. Meanwhile, Seyyed's Pontifical Man is the concept of human nature and how he should act. Pontifical Man in terminology can be interpreted as a papal man, namely the link between earth and heaven. This research is library research. The results of this study indicate that the concept of Pontifical Man thought by Seyyed Hossein Nasr is a modification and codification of the concept of Insan Kamil because Pontifical Man departs from traditional traditions and genealogy of all religions.

Abstract

Having varied ethnicities, cultures, religions, or faiths, Indonesia is considered a multicultural nation in today’s world. This equity can be dangerous; but also can be advantageous if myriad interests of citizens are able to be nurtured through education, including religious schools. The research was conducted to explore multicultural practices in the State-owned Islamic High School (MAN) 3 and the Catholic High School (SMA) Stella Duce 2 in Yogyakarta Indonesia. Data was gathered via a qualitative method by means of comparative study, aiming at seeking similarities and differences in promoting multicultural education values. Findings show similarities of teachers’ attitudes and characteristics as a facilitator, accommodator, or assimilator whereas the differences include their leadership role in intrareligious dialog at MAN 3 and dialog leaders at SMA Stella Duce 2. Other issues include diverse understandings of religion and its perceived violence. The research formulates two categories of teachers as being multicultural-intrareligious pluralists and multicultural-intrareligious humanists. It also discusses implications on social change as a result of the cultural interchange at those schools.

Abstract

Rigorous research has reported reformist figures from Islamic education in Patani Thailand, such as Tuan Guru Haji (TGH) Abd Rahman al-Fathani. This paper discusses the role of TGH Abd Rahman al-Fathani in the development of Islamic education in Ma'had Tsaqafah Islamiyah Pombing Patani Southern Thailand. This study uses field studies with in-depth interviews, observation, and a literature search. The results showed a critical point that the development of Islamic education in Muassasah Ma'had Tsaqafah al-Islamiyah since its inception until now is inseparable from the work and thought innovations of Muassasah leaders with the help of elements in Muassasah's organizational structure. This illustrates the role of TGH Abd Rahman al-Fathani in the development of Islamic education by modernizing Islamic boarding schools, spreading literacy in Islamic education, conceptualizing institutional curricula, and sparking effective learning methods. Supporting factors include togetherness in managing the curriculum and teaching and learning process, adequate facilities and infrastructure, and experienced teachers. Inhibiting factors include different abilities and psychological abilities of students, low community participation, and poor management of funds.

Abstract

Zakat, infaq, shadaqa, waqf, dan qurban adalah sumber kesejahteraan sosial bagi delapan golongan mustahiq. Studi sejarah perkembangan zakat menguak sistem dan praktek zakat yang berkembang mengikuti dinamika masyarakat. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara zakat dan konsep kesejahteraan sosial Islam sebab zakat digunakan untuk mendukung subsidi kesehatan, pendidikan, dan ekonomi para mustahiq. Konsep-konsep derma wajib (obligatory giving) dan tidak wajib (voluntary giving) dalam Islam, keberhasilan LAZIS dalam melayani mustahiq serta perannya dalam memberdayakan kaum miskin akan dibahas dalam beberapa model program, termasuk juga implikasi kajian ini bagi praktek pekerjaan sosial di Indonesia. Keywords: zakat, obligatory and voluntary giving, social work.

Abstract

Abstract. The Indonesian Family Hope Program (PKH) is both a Conditional Cash Transfer program (BTB) and a Social Protection Program, and is among the first cluster of modern poverty alleviation strategies implemented in Indonesia. The PKH has been able to meet some of the needs of the poor for access to health care and for education. Such services in Indonesia are difficult to obtain, especially by Very Poor Households (RTSM/KSM) in Umbulharjo District, Yogyakarta City. This study examines implementation of PKH for RTSM/KSM families and assesses effectiveness of PKH toward improving maternal health and children’s education. Qualitative descriptive research collected in-depth information about, and from, seven PKH participants living in the Umbulharjo District of Yogyakarta City. These informants were selected by purposive sampling as representative of health care needs, educational issues, and reliability of information about services. Using their documented observations, the subsequent analysis consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and data inference techniques. Results documented characteristics of the program and experiences of the participants, as follows. (1) These seven PKH recipients were of productive age, but had a poor quality of formal education; were part of an extended family structure, but also had poor housing conditions; and were living amid overall poor economic conditions, while having very low income. (2) All of the participants were in the RTSM/KSM sector. (3) They were among the 42.86%of recipients having family conditions below Regency Minimum Wage (UMK) in 2018, and the 57.14% of recipients having women supporting the family. (4) Implementation of the Family Hope Program effectively improved marital health and medical health for these RTSM/KSM families, with a reduction of burdens and an increase in education. Keywords: Family Hope Program, health, education, poverty. Abstrak. PKH merupakan program Bantuan Tunai Bersyarat (BTB) dan perlindungan sosial yang termasuk dalam klaster pertama strategi penanggulangan kemiskinan di Indonesia. Program ini sudah mampu menjawab kebutuhan dan akses masyarakat miskin terhadap kesehatan dan pendidikan yang masih sulit diperoleh, khususnya oleh RTSM/KSM di Kecamatan Umbulharjo Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui pelaksanaan PKH bagi keluarga RTSM/KSM di Kecamatan Umbulharjo Kota Yogyakarta (2) mengetahui efektivitas PKH ini dalam meningkatkan kesehatan ibu hamil dan pendidikan anak. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yang dirancang untuk mengumpulkan data dan informasi secara mendalam tentang peserta PKH di Kecamatan Umbulharjo, Kota Yogyakarta DIY. Informan dipilih secara purposive dan bukan pada jumlah yang banyak atau acak melainkan lebih pada keterwakilan masalah dan keterandalan informasi dan observasi terhadap tujuh peserta PKH sebagai informan. Teknik Analisis Data menggunakan (1) Reduksi data (2) Penyajian data (3) Penyimpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) karakteristik peserta PKH berusia produktif, kualitas pendidikan formal rendah, menganut sistem keluarga besar, dengan kondisi hunian rumah kurang layak, kondisi ekonomi kurang yang ditandai penghasilan rendah; (2) 100% peserta PKH di Kecamatan Umbulharjo adalah RTSM/KSM. (3) 42,86% kondisi keluarga peserta PKH di Kecamatan Umbulharjo berada di bawah Upah Minimum Kabupaten/Kota (UMK) DIY tahun 2018 sebab dalam keluarga RTSM/KSM yang menjadi tulang punggung keluarga adalah perempuan (57.14%); (4) pelaksanaan program keluarga harapan (PKH) di Kecamatan Umbulharjo merupakan salah satu program yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kesehatan ibu hamil, kesehatan keluarga RTSM/KSM, mengurangi beban hidup, dan meningkatkan pendidikan. Kata kunci: Program Keluarga Harapan, kesehatan, pendidikan, kemiskinan.
