Abstract

This study focuses on the implementation of Social Welfare policies on social adaptation in the learning process of students with disabilities in the Sociology Study Program of UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Efforts to fulfill accessibility have been carried out by the Difabel Service Center of UIN Sunan Kalijaga to make the learning process easier. However, these efforts do not deny that there are still obstacles for students with disabilities in participating in the learning process. This study uses a qualitative method. Collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The interviews involved 8 disabled students, 7 non-disabled students, and 4 lecturers. The results showed that there was an adaptation stage in the learning process of students with disabilities in the Sociology Study Program, namely 1) Honeymoon, students with disabilities felt happy when accepted at UIN Sunan Kalijaga, 2) Culture Shock, various obstacles appeared in the learning process, 3) Recovery, program students Sociology Studies with disabilities try to overcome obstacles and apply them continuously, 4) Adjustments, students with disabilities in the Sociology Study Program are getting used to the learning process at UIN Sunan Kalijaga.

Abstract

This research aims to advocate society not to stereotype against children with disabilities, such as those with autism and blindness, and how parents and teachers take significant roles in educating and undergoing a therapy so that the children grow and develop properly. Parents and teachers take these actions, so society receive these children with special needs, and thus are able to participate in society. The research was conducted at the village of Lingkok Busu, Pidie Regency of Aceh by using the qualitative study, in that it typically employs a study case approach focusing on a specific unique locus. The researchers gathered data by means of observations and interviews. The participants are two children each with autism and blindness, three teachers, at Special Primary School Rapana, who accompany the students in developing their abilities. Of these two teachers, one serves as a parent. Results show that there should be a mutual teacher-parent cooperation to address the societal stereotypes against the children, who are considered unfortunate in society. Therefore, it is necessary to have a religious and cross-cultural counseling so that we all live together peacefully with the slogan of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (unity in diversity) regardless of the country’s myriad cultures, ethnicities, languages, religions, or political affiliations, and so Indonesians have a true sense of unity. The researchers conclude that the children with autism and blindness should participate in society, and the roles of parents and teachers are to augment their potential; thus, they will grow and function well in society.

Abstract

Since the emergence of the overwhelming electoral vote for Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (Prosperous Justice Party) in the 2019 legislative election in Malang City, we discovered the impact of political-economy of Jemaah Tarbiyah on the urban society is a significant boost in electability for PKS. The subject selected is an Islamic philanthropic organisation, Ash-Shahwah Foundation (YASA) in Malang City as the sympathisers of Jemaah Tarbiyah. The supportive factors for regulating the political economy of Jemaah Tarbiyah include the method, role, and participation of YASA in Malang City. Through the method of da’wah, the figure of Jemaah Tarbiyah, Abu Haidar, stated that shalat is the key to success in life, and this has been successfully gaining hundreds of members. The role of YASA is to educate the urban society that obligatory alms become a lifestyle for their charitable politics. YASA becomes an intermediary to the connection of elite-mass or mustahiq-cadres’ relationships for gaining trust and getting massive electoral votes. The urban society participation, particularly the benefactors, can be seen from their enthusiasm in donating their wealth and demonstrating solidarity among individuals to strengthen informal religious learning courses in mosques. Findings show that the political economy of Jemaah Tarbiyah initiated the great success of gaining substantial electoral votes through philanthropic practices used as indirect support and funding for election campaigns. Notably, there is a political tendency for YASA to change its paradigm of philanthropic practice, for which the initial goal was to raise humanitarian aid and charitable funds and to shift funds toward financing a campaign.

Abstract

Abstract. The Indonesian Family Hope Program (PKH) is both a Conditional Cash Transfer program (BTB) and a Social Protection Program, and is among the first cluster of modern poverty alleviation strategies implemented in Indonesia. The PKH has been able to meet some of the needs of the poor for access to health care and for education. Such services in Indonesia are difficult to obtain, especially by Very Poor Households (RTSM/KSM) in Umbulharjo District, Yogyakarta City. This study examines implementation of PKH for RTSM/KSM families and assesses effectiveness of PKH toward improving maternal health and children’s education. Qualitative descriptive research collected in-depth information about, and from, seven PKH participants living in the Umbulharjo District of Yogyakarta City. These informants were selected by purposive sampling as representative of health care needs, educational issues, and reliability of information about services. Using their documented observations, the subsequent analysis consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and data inference techniques. Results documented characteristics of the program and experiences of the participants, as follows. (1) These seven PKH recipients were of productive age, but had a poor quality of formal education; were part of an extended family structure, but also had poor housing conditions; and were living amid overall poor economic conditions, while having very low income. (2) All of the participants were in the RTSM/KSM sector. (3) They were among the 42.86%of recipients having family conditions below Regency Minimum Wage (UMK) in 2018, and the 57.14% of recipients having women supporting the family. (4) Implementation of the Family Hope Program effectively improved marital health and medical health for these RTSM/KSM families, with a reduction of burdens and an increase in education. Keywords: Family Hope Program, health, education, poverty. Abstrak. PKH merupakan program Bantuan Tunai Bersyarat (BTB) dan perlindungan sosial yang termasuk dalam klaster pertama strategi penanggulangan kemiskinan di Indonesia. Program ini sudah mampu menjawab kebutuhan dan akses masyarakat miskin terhadap kesehatan dan pendidikan yang masih sulit diperoleh, khususnya oleh RTSM/KSM di Kecamatan Umbulharjo Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui pelaksanaan PKH bagi keluarga RTSM/KSM di Kecamatan Umbulharjo Kota Yogyakarta (2) mengetahui efektivitas PKH ini dalam meningkatkan kesehatan ibu hamil dan pendidikan anak. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yang dirancang untuk mengumpulkan data dan informasi secara mendalam tentang peserta PKH di Kecamatan Umbulharjo, Kota Yogyakarta DIY. Informan dipilih secara purposive dan bukan pada jumlah yang banyak atau acak melainkan lebih pada keterwakilan masalah dan keterandalan informasi dan observasi terhadap tujuh peserta PKH sebagai informan. Teknik Analisis Data menggunakan (1) Reduksi data (2) Penyajian data (3) Penyimpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) karakteristik peserta PKH berusia produktif, kualitas pendidikan formal rendah, menganut sistem keluarga besar, dengan kondisi hunian rumah kurang layak, kondisi ekonomi kurang yang ditandai penghasilan rendah; (2) 100% peserta PKH di Kecamatan Umbulharjo adalah RTSM/KSM. (3) 42,86% kondisi keluarga peserta PKH di Kecamatan Umbulharjo berada di bawah Upah Minimum Kabupaten/Kota (UMK) DIY tahun 2018 sebab dalam keluarga RTSM/KSM yang menjadi tulang punggung keluarga adalah perempuan (57.14%); (4) pelaksanaan program keluarga harapan (PKH) di Kecamatan Umbulharjo merupakan salah satu program yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kesehatan ibu hamil, kesehatan keluarga RTSM/KSM, mengurangi beban hidup, dan meningkatkan pendidikan. Kata kunci: Program Keluarga Harapan, kesehatan, pendidikan, kemiskinan.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate EFL students’ experience on Google Doc use in the final research project consultation. The participants in this research were students from the English Education Department. It consisted of eight students, five students from class A and three students from class B. The students are 20 to 22 years old. This study used a reflection sheet. The qualitative data were analyzed using students’ reflections based on usability concepts. Data analysis is carried out after the data is collected in Google form. The results of the study, in terms of Learnability, reveal that the Google Doc platform facilitates students in the online consultation process. Satisfaction revealed that students were satisfied with the use of Google Doc because there are many features available on the platform. The errors of the user in Google Doc during the final research project consultation showing the number of mistakes made by the users.

Abstract

Nowadays, the implementation of Islamic education is considered unsuccessful so that evaluation and improvement are needed. One of the efforts that needs to be done is to improve the teaching and learning of pendidikan agama Islam (PAI) learning by implementing holistic education. This research is a literature-based research, which the researchers collect various data and sources from journals and books related to holistic education in the perspective of Hadith. The results of this study show that holistic education is an effort to develop all the potentials of students including intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, creative, and physical. In the perspective of the Quran, holistic education refers to the Islamic concept of kaffah which means comprehensive where education should be carried out vertically and horizontally to form the rights of human being. From the perspective of the hadith, holistic education emphasizes good ethics and provides comfort to students in learning.

at this time moral abominations are rampant in the midst of society, as if there is no attempt to overcome them. Education which is considered as a reference in printing the nation's moral generation, now seems to be just a name, because moral decline does not only occur among the uneducated, but many students also participate in it. even bad morals also arise from educational institutions. so the author conducts research by adopting the title of the concept of Ibn Miskuwaihi's thoughts on moral education and its relevance to the world of Islamic education in modern times. The research method used by the author uses descriptive qualitative research in the type of literature review, namely research that only focuses on finding the necessary data, by focusing on library research, with the aim of being able to know the concept of Ibn Miskuwaihi's thinking in shaping moral character, as well as its relevance to world of Islamic education in this modern era. The results of this study are three things, firstly the concept of Ibn Mikuwaihi's thought as a guide that must be adhered to by educators, as well as educators to deal with all things that are demands in this modern era, secondly, moral education is not only improving morals between fellow humans, but the moral education proposed by Ibn Miskuwaihi can also improve morals with Allah SWT, who can create modern humans with all forms of progress. The three moral education in its application are not limited by space and time while there are moral abominations, especially in this modern era where despicable morals are rampant like in the time of Ibn Miskuwaihi.

Abstract

This research study is about, ''The Authority of Tuan Guru in Islamic Da'wah to the Sasak Community of Lombok using Max Weber's theory of authority analysis, focused on Tuan Guru's authority as an educator, ulama and community leader on the island of Lombok, the theory of authority Max Weber is divided into three main classifications, namely traditional authority, charismatic authority and rational legal authority. This research was carried out based on the differences in the views of the community, characteristics, and the existence of ulama on the island of Java with scholars in the Sasak community of Lombok. Basically the acknowledgment of Tuan Guru (ulama) in the Lombok Sasak community, is based on several things, including: Culture, scholarship, social status and personality. The main purpose of this study is to see how the influence and form of Tuan Guru's authority in the Lombok Sasak community is, and how it affects the Islamic da'wah space on the island of Lombok. The analytical tool that the writer uses in this research is Max Weber's theory of authority, using descriptive-analytical method, data acquisition is based on literature review. The results of the research that the authors get are that Tuan Guru's authority is divided into three main authorities, namely traditional authority, charismatic authority, and rational legal authority and the influence of Tuan Guru's preaching on the Sasak people of Lombok has a high position in people's lives.

Abstract

Setiap anak memiliki karakter yang berbeda-beda, apalagi dalam hal kemandirian. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pola asuh orang tua yang berbeda-beda. Pada zaman yang sudah maju ini banyak ditemukan masalah seputar kemandirian salah satunya dalam menjaga kebersihan. Banyak anak zaman sekarang malas untuk menjaga kebersihan dikarenakan sibuk bermain smartphone. Padahal menjaga kebersihan itu sangat penting karena berhubungan dengan kesehatan. Lingkungan yang kotor terdapat banyak penyakit di dalamnya sedangkan lingkungan yang bersih sebaliknya. Untuk itu sangat penting agar kita menerapkan pembiasaan karakter dalam menjaga kebersihan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pola pembiasaan karakter siswa dalam menjaga kebersihan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian field research. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak dengan teknik pengambilan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai pola pembiasaan karakter pada siswa dalam menjaga kebersihan sudah cukup baik. Akan tetapi, masih ada beberapa siswa yang belum terbiasa untuk menjaga kebersihan di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh terapi zikir terhadap kecemasan ibu hamil primigravida trimester III di Poskesdes Desa Ciporeat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif, dengan sampling jenuh, teknik pengolahan data menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabelitas dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan analisis data, pengaruh terapi zikir terhadap kecemasan ibu hamil pra melahirkan memiliki korelasinya 69.8% dapat dikatakan kuat. Artinya terdapat hubungan positif yang kuat antara terapi zikir dan kecemasan ibu hamil. Sedangkan uji koefisien regresi diperoleh nilai Sig 0.012 ? 0.05, artinya ada pengaruh terapi zikir terhadap kecemasan ibu hamil pra melahirkan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terapi zikir secara efektif dapat membantu subjek dalam mengatasi kecemasan tersebut.
