Abstract

Stimulasi Deteksi dan Intervensi Dini Tumbuh Kembang (SDIDTK), adalah kegiatan merangsang kemampuan dasar anak umur 0-6 tahun agar anak tumbuh dan berkembang secara optimal. Kurangnya stimulasi dapat menyebabkan penyimpangan tumbuh kembang anak bahkan gangguan yang menetap. Cakupan SDIDTK di Kota Malang pada tahun 2010 mencapai 56,13%, tahun 2011 mencapai 69,41% dibawah target 90%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis faktor determinan pelaksanaan SDIDTK oleh kader di Puskesmas Wilayah Kota Malang.Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Variabel bebas adalah karakteristik kader (umur, pendidikan, pekerjaan, lama menjadi kader), pengetahuan, sikap, fasilitas dan sarana prasarana, dukungan masyarakat,dukungan bidan,dan pelatihan. Variabel terikat adalah pelaksanaan SDIDTK. Subjek penelitian adalah 81 kader yang telah melakukan SDIDTK yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur dan lembar observasi. Analisis bivariat dilakukan dengan uji korelasi Chi-square dan Fisher Exact  dan multivariat dengan regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata usia responden 45,4 tahun, rerata lama jadi kader 10,6 tahun, pendidikan SMA 49,4%, pekerjaan sebagai ibu rumah tangga 88,9%, pelaksanaan SDIDTK baik 50,6%, pengetahuan baik 95,1%, sikap kader baik 61,7%, fasilitas dan sarana prasarana memadai 23,5%, dukungan masyarakat baik 74,1%, dukungan bidan baik 88,9%.  Tidak ada hubungan umur kader (p=0,311), pendidikan  (p=0,146), pekerjaan (p=0,647), pengetahuan (p=0,551), sikap (p=0,218), fasilitas (p=0,233), dukungan masyarakat (p=0,749), dukungan bidan (p=0,516) dengan pelaksanaan SDIDTK. Ada hubungan pelatihan (p=0,001), lama menjadi kader (p=0,035) dengan pelaksanaan SDIDTK Ada hubungan bersama-sama lama menjadi kader dan pelatihan dengan  pelaksanaan SDIDTK oleh kader. Faktor determinan pelaksanaan SDIDTK oleh kader adalah pelatihan dan lama menjadi kader. Untuk  perbaikan pelaksanaan program SDIDTK perlu diadakan pelatihan SDIDTK pada semua kader  Posyandu.

Abstract

Pertambahan berat badan yang kurang selama kehamilan dapat menyebabkan ibu melahirkan bayi dengan berat badan lahir rendah (BBLR). Di Kabupaten Tegal, pada tahun 2016 jumlah ibu hamil kurang energi kronis (KEK) yaitu 18,7 % meningkat dari 6,5 % pada tahun 2015. Pemberian makanan tambahan berupa biskuit sandwich merupakan  salah satu upaya pemerintah untuk perbaikan gizi ibu hamil. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh program pemberian  makanan tambahan terhadap status gizi ibu hamil KEK  kuasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian semua ibu hamil KEK di Kabupaten Tegal. Subjek penelitian 51 bumil KEK (gakin) kelompok perlakuan yang mendapatkan makananan tambahan dan 51 bumil KEK (non gakin) kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur, dan penimbangan berat badan. Peningkatan berat badan diukur sebelum diberikan makanan tambahan pada awal trimester III dan sesaat sebelum melahirkan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan independent-test dan GLM (General Linier Model). Sebagian besar responden pada kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol berumur 20-35 tahun Pendidikan terakhir responden pada kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol sebagian besar lulusan SMP yaitu 22 (43,1 %) responden. Peningkatan berat badan ibu hamil  KEK pada kelompok perlakuan (5,5±1,10 kg) lebih tinggi daripada kelompok kontrol (4,9±0,93 kg) dengan p=0,001. Disimpulkan bahwa pemberian makanan tambahan dapat meningkatkan berat badan ibu hamil KEK. Disarankan selama pemberian makanan tambahan dilakukan  pengawasan dan meningkatkan motivasi konsumsi biskuit.

Abstract

Pelayanan petugas gzi pada pasien rawat inap kelas III di RSUD Kajen Kabupaten belum sesuai harapan karena masih ada ketidakpuasan pasien/ keluarga pasien dalam hal pemberian makan yang tidak tepat waktu, tampilan makanan tidak menarik dan pelayanan petugas gizi yang kurang peduli, kurang tanggap dan kurang ramah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi tentang mutu pelayanan petugas gizi dengan kepuasan pasien dalam pelayanan gizi di rawat inap kelas III. Jenis penelitian adalah survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara terstruktur. Variabel bebas adalah persepsi kehandalan, ketanggapan, jaminan, empati dan bukti langsung, variabel terikat adalah kepuasan pasien dalam pelayanan gizi. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 135 subjek diperoleh dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi Spearman Rank untuk analisis bivariat dan regresi linier ganda untuk analisis multivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 59,3% persepsi kehandalan, baik, 61,5% ketanggapan, baik, 56,3% jaminan,, baik, 50,4% empati baik dan 65,2 % bukti langsung, baik serta 58,5% persepsi kepuasan, puas terhadap pelayanan gizi. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kehandalan, ketanggapan, jaminan, empati dan bukti langsung terhadap kepuasan pasien dalam pelayanan gizi (p < 0,05 ). Hasil analisis mulitvariat menunjukan faktor yang berpengaruh paling kuat terhadap kepuasan pasien adalah persepsi bukti langsung (B=0,230). Disarankan kepada manajemen rumah sakit untuk meningkatkan pembinaan, pelatihan custumer service pada petugas gizi Nutritionist services to third-class inpatients in Kajen district general hospital (RSUD) of Pekalongan district were not according to what was expected. This was cause by unsatisfaction of patients or their family members regarding: meals that were not served in time; meal presentation that was not interesting; and nutritional staffs who did not care, were not responsive, and were unpolite. Objective of this study was to identify association between perception on service quality of nutritional staffs and patient satisfation toward nutritional service in the third-class inpatient rooms.  This was an analytical survey with cross sectional approach. Data were collected through interview guided by structured questionnaire. Independent variables were perception on validity, responsiveness, assurance, emphaty, and direct evidences. Dependent variable was patient satisfactory toward nutritional services. The number of study samples was 135 subjects selected using consecutive sampling. Data analysis was done by applying Spearman Rank correlation for bivariate analysis, and by applying multiple linier regression for multivariate analysis. Results of the study showed that 59.3% of respondent’s perception on validity were good; 61.5% of respondent’s perception on responsiveness were good; 56.3% respondent’s perception on assurance were good; 50.4% respondent’s perception on empathy were good, 65.2% of respondent’s perception on direct evidence were good; and 58.5% of respondent’s satisfaction were satisfactory toward nutritional service. Results of bivariate analysis showed significant associations between patient satisfaction toward nurtritional service and validity, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and direct evidence (p< 0.05). Result of multivariate analysis showed that the most influencing factor toward patient satisfaction was perception on the direct evidence (B= 0.230). Hospital management is suggested to improve customer service assistance and training to nutritional staffs.

Abstract

AbstrakCakupan pemberian ASI eksklusif di Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan masih rendah (51,18%) lebih rendah dari target Nasional (80%). Di Provinsi ini jumlah pekerja wanita cukup tinggi (59,98%) dan semakin meningkat dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Kebijakan berupa Undang-undang, Peraturan Pemerintah dan Peraturan Bersama 3 Menteri Tentang Peningkatan Pemberian ASI eksklusif Selama Waktu Kerja Di Tempat Kerja sudah ada, tetapi masih banyak instansi yang belum melaksanakan kebijakan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian adalah menjelaskan implementasi kebijakan pemberian ASI eksklusif bagi ibu bekerja di Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan.Penelitian ini mengunakan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui indepth interview dan observasi. Responden/subjek penelitian adalah Kasie Pemberdayaan Perempuan Badan Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (BPPPA), Kasie Ketenagakerjaan Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi dan Kasie Gizi Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan sebagai informan utama serta Pimpinan Instansi Pemerintah dan Perusahaan sebagai informan triangulasi. Analisis dilakukan dengan content analysis.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak instansi yang belum menyediakan ruang laktasi di tempat kerja. Belum ada komunikasi antara BPPPA, Disnakertrans dan Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi dan belum terbentuk kelompok kerja dari ketiga instansi tersebut. Hanya 1 dari 3 instansi swasta yang telah menerima informasi kebijakan. Belum ada alokasi dana, tenaga dan sarana khusus untuk pelaksanaan kebijakan. Semua pelaksana bersikap mendukung. Belum ada Perda khusus tentang ASI eksklusif. Disimpulkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan pemberian ASI eksklusif bagi ibu bekerja di Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan belum terlaksana dengan baik karena belum adanya Perda khusus tentang ASI eksklusif. AbstractCoverage of exclusive breastfeeding in the South Kalimantan province was still low (51.18%); it was lower than the national target (80%).The number of working mothers in this province was relatively high and it was increasing in the last several years. Policies concerning breastfeeding during working time in the work place, such as decrees, government regulations, and common regulation from three ministers had been established. However, a number of institutions had not obeyed the policies. Objective of the study was to explain the implementation of exclusive breastfeeding for working mothers in South Kalimantan Province.This was a qualitative study. Data collection was done through in-depth interview and observation. Study respondents/subjects were a head of women empowerment section of the women empowerment and child protection institution (BPPPA), a head of human resource section of the labor and transmigration department, and a head of nutrition section of South Kalimantan province health office. Those respondents were considered as main informants. Triangulation informants were leaders of government institutions and leaders of companies. Content analysis method was applied in the data analysis.Results of the study showed that a number of institutions had not provided lactation room in the work place. No communication was done among BPPPA, Disnakertrans, and province health office. Working group from those three institutions had not been established. Only one of three private institutions had received information regarding the policies. No funding was allocated, human resource and specific facilities to implement policies were not provided. All executors supported the policies. Specific district government regulations concerning exclusive breastfeeding had not been established. In conclusion, implementation of exclusive breastfeeding policy for working mothers in South Kalimantan province was not done properly. It was caused by no specific local government regulations concerning exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Title :Patient Satisfaction To Doctor’s And Nurse’s Care Associated To The Interest To Be Rehospitalized (A study at RSUD Dolopo, Madiun Regency). AbstractBed Occupancy Rate (BOR) at Dolopo Public Hospital had decreased from 56.16% in 2013 to 35.86% in 2104 and 35.2% in 2015, and the average ALOS (Average Length of Stay) and Turn over Interval (TOI) increased. The preliminary study on patients of Social Security Agency (BPJS Non PBI) showed a dissatisfaction to nurse’s and doctor’s services. The aim of this study was to analyze the associations between patient satisfaction toward doctor’s & nurse’s services to the interest to be rehospitalized.This study was conducted in a cross sectional design. The subjects were 95 patients of  BPJS with Non PBI in inpatient room for class I, II, III, which was choosen by using accidental sampling. Data were gathered through interviews using structured questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted by Chi-square tests and logistic regression.Results showed that the patient satisfaction based on aspects of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy were lower than the expectations. Most of the subjects have positive attitudes, negative subjective norms and perceptions of behavior control and had a poor accesibility to the hospital. However 75.8% of the respondents were interested to be rehospitalized at Dolopo Hospital. There were correlations between patient satisfaction (p=0.009), attitude (p=0.000), subjective norm (p=0.002) with the interest to be rehospitalized. There was no correlation between control perception behavior (p=0.103), and access (p = 0.454) with the interest to be rehospitalized. After controlled for the attitude toward doctors’ and nurses’ services, the patients who were satisfied to the doctor’ and nurses’ services had 3.84 times to be interested to be rehospitalized than the patients who were not satifsfied (OR = 3.84 ; CI 95% : 0.98-15.12, p=0.054).Keywords       : Patient Satisfaction, Rehospitalized, BPJS.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSepuluh Langkah Menuju Keberhasilan Menyusui (LMKM) merupakan kunci keberhasilan pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Pelaksanaan 10 LMKM di rumah sakit Kabupaten Kudus dipengaruhi oleh sistem birokrasi yang berbeda antara rumah sakit swasta dan pemerintah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbedaan implementasi sepuluh langkah menuju keberhasilan menyusui antara rumah sakit swasta dan pemerintah di Kabupaten Kudus. Desain penelitian adalah kualitatif. Subjek penelitian untuk setiap rumah sakit adalah kepala ruang bersalin, bidan KIA, 2 dokter spesialis kebidanan, 3 bidan ruang nifas sebagai informan utama. Informan triangulasi meliputi direktur,manajer keperawatan, 3 pasien nifas dan 2 pasien hamil dari setiap rumah sakit. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan dianalisis dengan analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan implementasi 10 LMKM di rumah sakit swasta dan pemerintah. Hal yang belum dilaksanakan di rumah sakit swasta adalah tersedianya susu formula tanpa indikasi, rawat gabung masih parsial (2 jam setiap hari), kurangnya dukungan terhadap ibu dalam pemberian ASI sesuai kemauan bayi, tersedianya dot dan belum terbentuk KP-ASI. Hal tersebut berkaitan dengan keterbatasan sumber daya, komitmen implementor yang masih rendah dan lingkungan eksternal yang belum mendukung. Rumah sakit pemerintah belum melaksanakan penyuluhan kepada ibu hamil dan pembentukan KP-ASI. Hal tersebut disebabkan keterbatasan sumber daya khususnya pendanaan untuk pelatihan dan pengadaan media penyuluhan. Rumah sakit swasta diharapkan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kebidanan sesuai standar sistem akreditasi rumah sakit dari pemerintah. The implementation of TSSB at hospitals in District of Kudus was influenced by a difference bureaucratic system between private and public hospitals. This research aimed to analyze the difference of the TSSB implementation for successful breastfeeding between private and public hospitals in District of Kudus. This was qualitative research. Main informants encompassed head of childbirth room, midwives of Maternal and Child Health, 2 obstetricians, and 3 midwives at post-natal room. Meanwhile,informants for triangulation purpose encompassed director, manager of nursing, 3 post-natal patients, and 2 pregnant women at each hospital. Data were collected by in-depth interview and analysed using a method of content analysis. The result of this research showed that some differences of the implementation of TSSB between private and public hospitals were as follows: at private hospitals, there was any formula milk without indication, joined treatment room was still partial (2 hours a day), and there was lack of support for mother in providing breastfeeding in accordance with babies’ need. In addition, there was any dot and there was no a support group of breastfeeding. These problems were due to limitation of resource, low commitment of an implementer, and lack of external environment support. In contrast, public hospitals had not provided information to pregnant women and had not formed a support group of breastfeeding. These problems were due to limitation of resource particularly funding for training and providing information media. As suggestions, private hospitals need to improve midwifery services in accordance with a standard of a hospital accreditation system from the government. Abstract

Indicator of posyandu work performance in West Aceh was still far below the target determined and there was a decrease during 2011-2012. The results of the preliminary study showed that the motivation of village midwives were still low in posyandu cadre coaching. The aim of this research was to identify the factors associated village midwives motivation in posyandu cadre coaching. The study was conducted quantitavely and qualitatively. The quantitative research used survey method with a cross sectional design. The subjects were 146 village midwives selected by clustered random sampling at public healthcare center level. Data colection was conducted by interviews using structured questionnaire. The bivariate analysis used Chi Square tests, and the multivariate analysis used logistic regression. The qualitative data was collected by in-depth interviews to the village midwives and analyzed by content analysis. The results showed that 64.4% of the respondents had low performance, 54.8% had less responsibility, 62.3% had insufficient potential development, 57.5% felt inadequate compensation, and 52.7% had less supervision. There were associations between responsibility (C= 0.237, p=0.006), potential development (C= 0.268, p=0.001), compensation (C=0.518, p=0.0001), working condition (C=0.237, p=0.006), supervision (C=0.261, p=0.002,) and the village midwife performance in posyandu cadres’s coaching. Compensation had the most significant effect on the village midwive motivation in posyandu cadres coaching (Exp-B=17.383, p=0.0001). The obstacles experienced by the village midwives in posyandu cadres coaching were insufficient fund, unavailable special training for the posyandu cadre coaching and unavailable health facilities. Compensation has the most significant effect on village midwive motivation in posyandu cadres coaching. It is suggested to public healthcare centers and Health office to implement refreshing cadre coaching and improving village midwives performance in by giving appreciation to village midwives who conducted posyandu cadre.

Abstract

Preeklampsia diduga merupakan salah satu faktor risiko terjadinya berat badan lahir rendah (BBLR). Penelitian ini bertujuan membuktikan bahwa berat badan lahir bayi ibu penderita preeklampsia lebih rendah dari pada ibu non preeklampsia. Jenis penelitian observasional analitik dengan rancangan kohort prospektif. Subjek penelitian 68 orang, yang mencakup 34 ibu hamil penderita preeklampsia dan 34 non preeklampsia yang dipilih secara Purposive Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur dan data sekunder dari Rumah Sakit (Berat Badan Lahir dan Panjang Badan lahir). Analisis data dilakukan dengan chi-square,  Mann Whitney Test, independent T Test, dan regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan umur, pendidikan, status bekerja dan pendapatan per bulan antara ibu penderita preeklampsia dan non preeklampsia. Tidak ada perbedaan jarak kehamilan, paritas, status gizi ibu, penyakit saat hamil dan pemeriksaan Antenatal care antara ibu penderita preeklampsia dan non preeklampsia. Berat badan lahir bayi dari ibu penderita preeklampsia lebih rendah (2.650±469,1)gram, daripada ibu non preeklampsia (2.700±346,7)gram, dengan nilai p=0,022. Disarankan kepada para bidan untuk memberikan motivasi pada ibu hamil dalam melakukan pemeriksaan Antenatal care secara rutin sebagai upaya deteksi dini pencegahan preeklampsia dan BBLR.

Abstract

Rata - rata cakupan SDIDTK balita dan anak prasekolah pada Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Sidoarjo tahun 2008, 2009 berturut-turut adalah 61,52% 46,93% dan masih dibawah SPM tahun 2009 yaitu 80%. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja bidan dalam pelaksanaan SDIDTK balita dan anak prasekolah di Puskesmas Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Jenis penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh bidan di Puskesmas Kabupaten Sidoarjo berjumlah 375 bidan. Subjek penelitian sejumlah 77 bidan dipilih secara proportional random sampling berdasarkan Puskesmas. Pengumpulan data dengan angket dan observasi. Variabel bebas adalah pengetahuan, sikap, motivasi, beban kerja, peralatan dan persepsi supervisi sedangkan variabel terikat adalah kinerja bidan dalam pelaksanaan SDIDTK balita dan anak prasekolah. Uji statistik menggunakan Chi-Square test dan Regresi Logistik Ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata umur Bidan 35 tahun dengan simpang baku 7,2 tahun. Seluruh subjek berpendidikan D III Kebidanan, dan 90,9% mempunyai status kepegawaian PNS. Rerata masa kerja 11,7 tahun dengan simpang baku 7,6. Bidan telah mendapatkan pelatihan SDIDTK dengan rerata 5,3 ± 3,2 tahun yang lalu. Sebagian besar bidan(59,7%) memiliki pengetahuan kurang, 62,3% sikap negatif, 57,1% motivasi kurang, 58,4% berpersepsi beban kerja berat, 57,1% peralatan kurang, 54,5% berpersepsi supervisi kurang, dan 54,5% mempunyai kinerja kurang. Ada hubungan positif antara pengetahuan, sikap, motivasi, peralatan dan persepsi supervisi dengan kinerja bidan. Ada hubungan negatif antara beban kerja dengan kinerja bidan. Kelengkapan peralatan, pengetahuan dan sikap berhubungan secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja bidan. Faktor yang paling berkaitan dengan kinerja bidan dalam pelaksanaan SDIDTK balita dan anak prasekolah adalah kelengkapan peralatan. Disimpulkan bahwa kinerja bidan dalam pelaksanaan SDIDTK masih kurang. Hal ini berkaitan dengan kelengkapan peralatan, pengetahuan dan sikap bidan terhadap pelaksanaan SDIDTK.The average of SDIDTK coverage of under-five and pre-school children in the work area of Sidoarjo district health office in 2008 and 2009 respectively was 61.52% and 46.93%. It was still below 2009 SPM (80%). Objective of this study was to identify factors affecting the work performance of midwives in the implementation of SDIDTK of under-five and pre-school children in the primary healthcare centers of Sidoarjo district. This was an observational-analytical study with cross sectional approach. Study population was all 375 midwives in the primary healthcare centers (puskesmas) in Sidoarjo district. Study subjects were 77 midwives who were selected using proportional random sampling method. Data collection was done using questionnaire and by conducting observation. Independent variables were knowledge, attitude, motivation, workload, instruments, and perception on supervision. Dependent variable was work performance of midwives in the implementation of SDIDTK of under-five and pre-school children. Chi-square test and multiple logistic regressions were applied in the data analysis. Results of the study showed that the average age of midwives was 35 years old with standard deviation of 7.2 years old. All subjects’ education level was D3 in midwifery; 90.9% were government civil servants (PNS). The average working period was 11.7 years with standard deviation of 7.6 years. Midwives had received SDIDTK training with the average of 5.3 ± 3.2 years ago. The majority of midwives had insufficient knowledge (59.7%), negative attitude (62.3%), low motivation (57.1%), heavy workload perception (58.4%), inadequate instruments (57.1%), inadequate supervision (54.5%), and inadequate work performance (54.5%). There was a positive association between midwives work performance and knowledge, attitude, motivation, instrument, and perception on supervision. There was a negative association between workload and midwives work performance. Completeness of instruments, knowledge, and attitude were jointly associated with the work performance of midwives. The most related factor to the work performance of midwives in the implementation of SDIDTK of under-five and pre-school children was the completeness of instruments. In conclusion, the work performance of midwives in the implementation of SDIDTK was still inadequate. This was related to the completeness of instruments, knowledge, and midwives attitude toward the implementation of SDIDTK.

Abstract

Angka Kematian Bayi di Kabupaten Klaten pada tahun 2011 sebesar 13,346/ 1000 kelahiran hidup dan tahun 2012 AKB sebesar 10,36 per 1000 kelahiran hidup. Kematian bayi tersebut terjadi pada bayi umur 0 – 28 hari atau periode neonatal. Cakupan pelayanan kunjungan neonatus oleh bidan di Kabupaten Klaten dari tahun 2009 sampai dengan 2012 mengalami menurunan dari kunjungan murni dan kunjungan lengkap. Dalam pelayanan neonatus bidan desa hampir tidak semua melalukan sesuai dengan standar pelayanan minimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan karakteristik bidan desa dengan pelayanan neonatus di wilayah Puskesmas Kabupaten Klaten tahun 2013. Metodologi penelitian observasional survey ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 82 bidan desa di Kabupaten Klaten yang diambil secara Cluster Random Sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dan lembar observasi. Data primer maupun sekunder diolah dan dianalisis secara univariat dengan distribusi frekuensi dan persentase, bivariat dengan Korelasi Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan karakteristik dengan perilaku bidan desa dalam pelayanan neonatus di Kabupaten Klaten adalah ada hubungan karakteristik dengan pengetahuan yaitu: umur (p = 0.002), pendidikan (p = 0.000), pelatihan (p = 0,011) dan lama kerja (p = 0,000). Ada hubungan karakteristik dengan sikap yaitu: umur (p = 0,005), pendidikan (p = 0,000), pelatihan (p = 0,003), lama kerja (p = 0,000) dan pengetahuan (p = 0,000). Tidak ada hubungan karakteristik dengan pelayanan neonatus yaitu: umur (p = 0.354), pendidikan (p = 0,751), pelatihan (p = 0.336) dan lama kerja (p = 0.950), pengetahuan (p = 0,739) dan sikap ( p = 0,896). Disarankan bagi Dinas Kesehatan Klaten untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan Bidan Desa terutama tentang pelayanan neonatus melalui pelatihan dan sosialisasi buku KIA serta MTBM bagi semua Bidan Desa. Melakukan supervisi ke bidan desa dalam pelayanan KIA.  Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in District of Klaten in 2011 and in 2012 respectively was 13.346/1,000 live births and 10.36/1,000 live births. The aged of infant mortalities ranged from 0 to 28 days or during a neonatal period. The coverage of neonatal services provided by village midwives in District of Klaten from year of 2009 to year of 2012 decreased in terms of pure and complete visits. Almost all village midwives did not provide the neonatal services which were in accordance with minimum services standards. This research aimed to find out about the relationship between characteristics of village midwives and neonatal services at health centers in District of Klaten in 2013. This was observational-survey research using cross-sectional approach. Number of samples was 82 village midwives in District of Klaten selected by a technique of Cluster Random Sampling. Research instruments used a questionnaire and an observation sheet. Primary and secondary data were analyzed using methods of univariate analysis (frequency distribution and percentage) and bivariate analysis (chi-square test). The result of this research revealed that variables of age (p=0.002), education (p=0.000), training (p=0.011), and work period (p=0.000) significantly related to a variable of knowledge. Furthermore, variables of age (p=0.005), education (p=0.000), training (p=0.003), work period (p=0.000), and knowledge (p=0.000) significantly related to a variable of attitude. On the other hand, variables of age (p=0.354), education (p=0.751), training (p=0.336), work period (p=0.950), knowledge (p=0.739), and attitude (p=0.896) did not relate to the neonatal services. As a suggestion, Klaten District Health Office needs to improve the knowledge of village midwives especially about neonatal services by conducting training and socialization of a Maternal and Child Health (MCH) book and Integrated Management of Young Infants for them. In addition, supervision needs to be done to village midwives in MCH services.
