Abstract

Kurangnya media pembelajaran dalam beberapa jenjang pendidikan mendorong pendidik untuk mengembangakan multimedia interaktif guna meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia interaktif berbantuan iSpring suite dengan model PBL yang valid dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi fluida statis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan menerapkan model 4D yang terdiri dari define, design, develop dan disseminate. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari multimedia inteaktif dan instrumen tes. Data dikumpulkan melalui validasi ahli, uji coba, dan respons peserta didik. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif berbantuan iSpring Suite layak digunakan, dengan skor validasi materi sebesar 0,73 (kategori tinggi) dan validasi media sebesar 0,84 (kategori sangat tinggi). Berdasarkan respons peserta didik, multimedia ini mendapatkan persentase total sebesar 90,5% pada uji coba kelompok terbatas dan 87,9% pada uji coba lapangan, keduanya dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Terdapat Peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik terlihat dari nilai pretest dan posttest yang dianalisis menggunakan Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test dengan nilai -4.794 dan Asymp. Sig. <0,005. Dengan demikian, multimedia interaktif berbantuan iSpring Suite dengan model PBL pada materi fluida statis terbukti valid dan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Literasi digital menjadi sebuah keniscayaan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar, khususnya pembelajaran fisika SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan hubungan literasi digital yang meliputi komunikasi dan kolaborasi, berpikir kritis, melek data, melek teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, keamanan perangkat, dan keamanan data diri terhadap prestasi belajar fisika peserta didik kelas XI fase F yang memilih mata Pelajaran fisika di SMA Katolik Santu Petrus. Sebanyak 73 peserta didik diambil dari kelas XIF6 dan XIF8 dilibatkan sebagai subyek penelitian. Dengan menggunakan instrument G20 Toolkit for Measuring Digital Skills and Digital Literacy diperoleh data literasi digital peserta didik. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dan dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Rank Spearman. Penelitian ini menghasilkan hubungan yang sangat lemah antara literasi digital dan prestasi belajar fisika. Penelitian ini menjadi bahan refleksi dan tindak lanjut bagi peserta didik, guru dan sekolah dengan mengoptimalkan penerapan literasi digital dalam pembelajaran dan melibatkan pemberdayaan literasi digital peserta didik untuk lebih terarah dan bermanfaat dalam pembelajaran dan kehidupannya sehari-hari.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to develop a two-tier diagnostic test using the google form application on pressure materials in junior high schools. Research on the development of a two-tier diagnostic test using the google form application on this pressure material uses research and development (RD) methods. This research was carried out in two stages of trial, namely product trials which were carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya and trial usage at SMP Negeri 1 and 9 Sungai Raya. The instrument used is a two-tier diagnostic test which is distributed using the google form application. This study presents 21 items on the diagnostic test divided into two categories moderate and easy. There are 11 questions while the easy questions have 10 questions. The content validity level of this study was 0.74. Then the reliability shows 0.804 in product trials and 0.711 in usage trials. With a readability level of 4.42, it is categorized as usable in junior high school. Based on the results of panel validation regarding the use of google forms with the Aiken 1 index and some student response data, the google form application is in the high category (77.33%). Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the effectiveness of a teaching module using graphic organizers on student learning outcomes. This study is an experimental study. The research design adopts the preexperimental design of "one group pre-test-post-test design" design model. The population of this study included all VII B students, a total of 30 students. The sampling method used simple random sampling technique, therefore VII B was selected as the sampling study. The data collection methods used were testing, recording and observation. The research results show that the average score of the experimental class in the pre-test was 39.00, and the average score in the post-test was 81.00. The effect size results obtained therefore met the moderate criterion of 3.05. Based on the above introduction, the use of graphic organizer-based teaching modules can improve the enthusiasm and transfer learning outcomes of grade 7 students at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya

Abstract

Misconceptions are students' understanding of a concept but this understanding is not in line with expert understanding. Misconceptions that occur in students can come from anywhere, including caused by textbooks and come from teachers who may also experience misconceptions without being aware of the teacher. The research method used is research and development using procedural examples. The procedural model is a descriptive model that explains the flow or procedural steps that must be followed to form a particular product. One of the products in the field of education is RD which can be in the form of an evaluation system, both process assessment and learning evaluation. This research produced a product in the form of reading material, Refutation text. In total, there was a decrease in the number of students who had misconceptions about the initial field test after being given Refutation text reading material by 76.18%. In total, there was a decrease in the number of students who experienced misconceptions about the main field trial after being given Refutation text reading material by 58.24%. and media at 79.95, the results of the quality test of reading material Refutation text on the content and presentation aspects of 0.74 are included in the high category. Meanwhile, the language aspect was 0.75 in the high category and the graphic aspect was 0.67 in the high category. Students' responses to the reading material of the Refutation text in the field test obtained an average percentage of 91.31%

Abstract

The advancement of knowledge and technology has a significant impact on the development of science education. In the 21st century, technological progress has influenced various aspects of human cognition, including learning processes and critical thinking abilities. Critical thinking skills are essential for personal growth beyond formal education. This study aims to investigate critical thinking skills, such as interpretation, analysis, inference, explanation, and evaluation. Employing a pre-experimental design, the research focuses on 10thgrade science students from the X MIPA 1 class at SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Batang. The sample is selected using a simple random sampling technique. The findings of the study indicate that a majority of the students, approximately 70.37% of the total sample (19 out of 27 students), demonstrate very low or low levels of critical thinking skills across all categories. Moreover, critical thinking skills in areas like analysis, inference, and evaluation also show relatively low levels. Therefore, it is recommended that future researchers utilize appropriate teaching methods to enhance students' critical thinking skills in each category and aspect being observed.

Abstract

The research method used is included in the experimental category, and the data analysis process was carried out using the SPSS application. The aim of this research is to find out whether there are differences in learning outcomes for SKI subjects using the lecture and card sort methods. The statistical analysis used is the Independent t-test (if the data is normal) or the Mann-Whitney U test (if the data is not normal). The research population included class VII students at MTs Negeri 2 Mempawah, with a research sample of 10 students who were divided into two groups, namely the group treated with the lecture method (class A) and the group treated with the card sort method (class B). After the second group received treatment, the researcher carried out a test regarding the learning outcomes of the subject "History of Islamic Culture" with a focus on the material "Khulafaur Rasyidin's Achievements". Learning outcomes are measured by giving 10 multiple choice questions, with the highest score being 100 and the lowest being 0. The research results show that there is no significant difference or influence on student learning outcomes, whether using the lecture or card sort method. Therefore, it can be concluded that the two learning methods, namely lecture and card sort, are effective in improving student learning achievement in the history of Islamic culture subject by focusing on the material achievements of Khulafaur Rasyidin

Abstract

In the current digital era, education is increasingly shifting towards the use of online technology. E-Learning, as a form of distance education, has become a significant phenomenon in the learning process. This research aims to analyze the learning interest of Master of Educational Technology students at Tanjungpura University in using Google Classroom E-Learning. Quantitative methods with a descriptive approach were used in this research, by collecting data through online questionnaires to 27 students. The results of the analysis show that even though the data is not normally distributed, there is significant interest in learning towards Google Classroom E-Learning with an average score of 3.1254 on a Likert scale range of 1 to 4. Developing teaching methods, further research regarding factors that influence interest in learning, more intensive technical support, and regular evaluation and feedback are some of the suggestions suggested to improve the quality of online learning. Understanding more deeply about students' learning interest in Google Classroom E-Learning will help develop a more adaptive approach according to students' needs in the future. Abstract

This method provides direct experiences to students through practical activities aimed at allowing them to feel and understand concepts authentically. Previous research has shown that the practicum method is effective in improving students' understanding and learning outcomes in various learning contexts, such as biology and natural sciences. Additionally, this method has proven to increase students' learning motivation, including in online learning. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the practicum method on students' learning outcomes in the subject of natural sciences, specifically focusing on the topic of food and nutrition in class VIIIB at SMP Negeri 3 Segedong, Mempawah Regency. The research method employed is an experiment using paired-sample t-test to measure significant differences between pre-test and post-test scores. The results indicate a significant influence from the implementation of the practicum method on the topic of food and nutrition in the classroom. Data analysis, including normality tests and paired-sample t-tests, indicates that the data is normally distributed, and there is a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores. Furthermore, the measurement of the effectiveness of the practicum method using N-Gain shows an effectiveness level of 57.8968, which can be concluded as reasonably effective. This research provides insights into the utilization of the practicum method in achieving the goals of natural sciences education, specifically in the context of food and nutrition. These findings can serve as a valuable reference for educators in choosing effective teaching methods to enhance students' learning outcomes

Abstract

Force is one of the most fundamental concepts in physics, used to describe and explain a wide range of phenomena. Students can use force diagrams to learn about fundamental force concepts and solve problems related to forces. However, a limited study has focused on students’ views in drawing force diagrams. This study aims to explore students’ views about force diagrams while solving physics problems. A qualitative study was conducted to explore students’ views on drawing and using force diagrams when solving force problems, involving 18 physics education students. Before the semi-structured interviews were conducted, the students were given two force problems to solve. All interviews were recorded, transcribed, and coded for analysis. Data from the interview was analyzed using NVivo software. This study identified five themes related to students’ views on force diagrams: purposes, conventions, physics concepts, mathematical concepts, and incomplete diagrams. The most frequently mentioned theme by students was the purpose of drawing force diagrams. Students’ knowledge about force concepts and trigonometry also affected their diagrams. Students had different ways to draw diagrams, either on the dot or on the object, and had reasons for drawing the incomplete force diagrams. These findings suggest that students should possess sufficient knowledge of physics and mathematics to draw force diagrams effectively. Students should also understand when force diagrams are applicable and recognize the advantages of drawing them. This study suggests that to support students' effective understanding of force diagrams, educators should employ appropriate strategies and equip students with the skills to create and utilize force diagrams while learning about force concepts and solving problems.
