Abstract

This writing aims to see the effect of using the SAVI learning model on students' problem solving abilities. The type of writing is quantitative writing. The sampling technique used was randomized class. The data collection technique used is the essay test technique. The data analysis technique used is the two jaur anava test. Based on the hypothesis test obtained, the results show that there are influences of students with treatment using the SAVI learning model to improve mathematical problem solving skills in algebraic factorization material better than students with the treatment of learning using conventional learning both in general and in each category. the independence of students' mathematical learning. There is interaction between mathematical problem solving abilities of students who have high mathematical learning independence better than students who have moderate and low mathematical learning independence. While students who have mathematical learning independence are better than students who have low mathematical learning independence. In addition, there is no interaction between the treatment of learning and the category of self-reliance on students 'mathematical learning towards improving students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

The digital literacy program implemented at the As'ad Islamic Boarding School in Jambi City aims to improve the digital skills of teachers and students through the use of information and communication technology, specifically Google Workspace and artificial intelligence (AI). The program consists of four training sessions that include an introduction to Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Classroom, and the use of ChatGPT as a learning tool. This training is designed to introduce digital technology to participants who previously had limitations in using technology-based applications. Evaluation was conducted through interviews and direct observations that showed a significant improvement in the digital skills of participants, although challenges related to limited devices and internet connectivity remained major obstacles. The positive impact of this program is expected to serve as a model for the development of digital literacy in other remote areas and support the transformation of technology-based education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the effect of the use of Augmented Reality (AR) media on student learning outcomes in science subjects for class X at SMA Muhammadiyah Lempangang, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the use of Augmented Reality (AR) media on student learning outcomes in science subjects for class X as intended. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative research type with an experimental method approach (pre-experiment), a one group pretest-posttest model. The analysis technique is in the form of Descriptive & Inferential statistics with the help of SPSS. The subjects in this study were 15 students of class X at SMA Muhammadiyah Lempangang, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. Based on the results of the study, the results of inferential analysis with calculations using SPSS version 26, showed that the pretest and posttest data had met the normality test. It is a prerequisite test before conducting a hypothesis test. The pretest and posttest data were normally distributed because the p value ≥ α = 0.05. The inferential analysis shows that student learning outcomes are normally distributed (sig. > 0.05). The results also indicate that Augmented Reality (AR) media positively influences science learning outcomes of grade X students at SMA Muhammadiyah Lempangang. This is supported by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and work discipline on employee performance, both directly and indirectly, with motivation as an intervening variable, among employees of the Palembang High Court. The research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 82 permanent employees and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the assistance of the SmartPLS application. The results show that competence and work discipline have a significant effect on employee performance, both directly and indirectly, through work motivation as an intervening variable. Work motivation is also proven to have a positive and significant impact on improving employee performance. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of regularly evaluating the effectiveness of policies related to competence, work discipline, and motivation, and using the evaluation results as a basis for revising managerial policies to remain adaptive to changes in the work environment and employee needs.

Abstract

Community satisfaction is one of the most important variables in determining the result of a service. Therefore, the implementation of employee discipline must be implemented so that employee performance can be more optimal. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of employee work discipline on community satisfaction at the East Luwu Regency Social Service office. This research is classified as bivariate research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study amounted to 96 people from East Luwu Regency using probability sampling techniques. In this study, the data collection techniques used are questionnaires, observations and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this study are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the study show that the variables of employee work discipline at the East Luwu Regency Social Service Office are in the good category with indicators, namely time discipline, regulatory discipline, and responsibility discipline, while the variables of community satisfaction are in the good category with indicators, namely the suitability of expectations, performance perception, and community assessment. Based on the results of the product moment correlation test, the relationship between variables is strong. Based on the results of a simple linear regression analysis, it was concluded that there was a positive and significant influence between employee work discipline and community satisfaction at the East Luwu Regency Social Service Office

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of implementing effective strategic management in improving the quality of public services in State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), especially in the port sector. PT Pelindo Regional 4 Makassar as a strategic public service provider faces demands to improve efficiency, customer satisfaction, and competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the application of strategic management based on Balanced Scorecard in improving public service performance. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Balanced Scorecard has been applied through four main perspectives, namely finance, customers, internal business processes, and learning and growth. This implementation has a positive impact on operational efficiency, increasing customer satisfaction, improving work processes, and developing human resources. However, challenges are still found in the aspect of equitable distribution of training and information system integration. The recommendations of this study are the importance of strengthening coordination across units, periodic evaluation of performance indicators, and increasing investment in information technology systems and employee training. With consistent implementation, the Balanced Scorecard can be an effective strategic tool to support superior and sustainable public services

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah pengaruh penggunaan media Augmented Reality (AR) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas X di SMA Muhammadiyah Lempangang, Kecamatan Bajeng, Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah penggunaan media AR berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen (pre-eksperiment), model one group pretest-posttest. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dengan bantuan SPSS versi 26. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 siswa kelas X. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa data pretest dan posttest memenuhi uji normalitas, dengan nilai signifikansi (p) ≥ 0,05. Ini menunjukkan bahwa data terdistribusi normal dan memenuhi syarat untuk uji hipotesis. Hasil uji menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan media AR. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 < 0,05, yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media AR memberikan pengaruh positif dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, serta mendorong keaktifan mereka dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pulo Aceh is rich in natural resources and local wisdom with high potential to become a tourist destination. However, community awareness of this potential is still low, encouraging us to find strategies to raise this awareness and develop entrepreneurial spirit among local students in the tourism industry. A qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach was employed. The data collection techniques included observations and interviews with school teachers and several local people of Pulo Aceh. The findings revealed that Pulo Aceh’s natural landscape and resources play an essential role in the development of Pulo Aceh’s tourism. For the sustainability purpose, the awareness and skills in tourism businesses should be built from a young age, specifically in the middle school and high school levels. The knowledge and skills can be integrated into a school subject and taught through tourism business-related materials. Seven strategies were also proposed to build students’ entrepreneurial spirit, namely 1) linking lesson material to real life, 2) using technology, 3) applying project-based learning, 4) designing creative activities, 5) social involvement, 6) giving appreciation to students, 7) material flexibility and adequate information about future careers in the tourism industry. Through these strategies, it is expected that these young entrepreneurs are born and improve the region’s economy

Abstract

The management of school-owned assets is an important part of education management which aims to support the effectiveness of the learning process. Administration as an administrative implementer has a strategic role in ensuring that school assets are properly recorded, monitored, and reported. This study aims to describe the role of administration in asset management at SMAN 3 Takalar and identify the obstacles faced in its implementation. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consist of administrative staff, principals, and teachers. The results of the study show that administrative staff have carried out asset management tasks such as recording, labeling, and reporting assets on a regular basis. However, the administrative process is still mostly done manually and has not been fully supported by the digital system. The main obstacles found are the lack of technical training for staff and the lack of optimal coordination between departments in asset reporting. However, there is a fairly good procedural awareness in the implementation of tasks. This study recommends the need for continuous training for administration, the implementation of digital-based asset information systems, and increased collaboration between the administration and all school residents to create more effective and accountable asset management.

Abstract

The implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) is one of the strategic efforts to improve the quality of administrative services in the school environment. However, the successful implementation of SOPs does not only depend on the existence of formal documents, but also on the consistency of implementation and support of other supporting systems. This study aims to analyze how SOPs are implemented in administrative services at SMK Negeri 3 Makassar and identify supporting and inhibiting factors for its implementation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that SOPs have been compiled and socialized in various service units, such as correspondence, filing, staffing, and student services. In the personnel and finance unit, the implementation of SOPs is going quite well and consistently. However, in the student service unit, the implementation still faces obstacles such as high workload, staff limitations, weak internal supervision, and the lack of optimal use of information technology. The recommendations from this study include the need for periodic training for administrative staff, strengthening monitoring and evaluation systems, and digitizing administrative processes as an effort to improve service efficiency and accountability. Thus, the consistent implementation of SOPs and supported by an adequate support system will be able to strengthen the quality of administrative governance in schools.
