Abstract

The study aims to see if the use of multiple media edpuzzle will affect the information of 14 maros public high school x students. This type of research is quantitative research with pre-experiment design in the form of one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study is all 4th-grade public high school x students with 140 students. The sample in this study is an x.1 state high school student with 36 students. Sampling retrieval technique using the simple random sampling. The data-collection technique used is observation, testing and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis techniques consisting of normality tests, homogenity tests and hypothetical tests. Hypothetical tests using tests - t and determinative coefficiencies. Research results from descriptive statistical analysis suggest that in the initial test (pretesting) before the application of multimedia edpuzzle in the student's average value learning process was 50.28 at the low intervals of the ideal 100 score. Whereas on the final test after the application of multimedia edpuzzle in the learning process the 83.06 student average score with high intervals of the ideal 100 score. Further analysis of inferential statistics USES the test-t formula shows that value  = 11.955 and value   = 1.690 with a degree of significance α = 5% or 0,05 and the degree of freedom = 35. Based on the testing criteria if    >   then was rejected approved. After discovering  which is 11.955 and  1.690,  >   = 11.955 > 1.690 the difference in both significant pretests and posttests and can be concluded that was rejected and  was accepted. Based on the above data, it could be concluded that the use of multimedia edpuzzle affects the information of 14 maros public high school x class.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using animaker-based multimedia presentations on students' learning interest. The sample in this study was class VIII.1 with 40 students. The research instrument used observation and a questionnaire. Methods of data collection using observation sheets, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistics. Based on the results of research and data analysis, there is a positive influence on the learning interest of class VIII.1 students of MTs Negeri 1 Makassar City. It can be seen from the descriptive statistical analysis which shows that the percentage of learning media is in the very high category of 94.5% and the percentage of learning interest is in very high category of 87.5%. Based on the results of the hypothesis on the t-test value of 0.05 indicates that the value of α is 0.05 in this study the significant value is 0.000 <0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on these results, it was concluded that there was a significant influence on the use of Animaker-based presentation media on students' learning interest, so that Animaker media was well used in arts and culture subjects.

Abstract

This study explores the role of ethics education in the professional development of teachers, focusing on how it influences their teaching practices, decision-making, and professional behavior. Using a qualitative research design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), and document analysis involving 15 teachers from diverse educational backgrounds in Makassar City, Indonesia. The findings reveal that ethics education significantly enhances teachers’ ability to navigate ethical dilemmas in the classroom, fosters positive teacher-student relationships, and promotes collaboration among colleagues. Teachers reported that ethics training equipped them with the tools to handle challenges such as fairness in student discipline, respect for cultural diversity, and digital privacy concerns. However, the study also identified gaps in the consistency and continuity of ethics education programs, with many teachers emphasizing the need for ongoing training and peer support. The study contributes to the literature by addressing the gap in understanding how ethics education is applied in real-world teaching contexts and its long-term impact on teachers’ professional development. It highlights the importance of integrating ethics education into continuous professional development programs, ensuring that teachers are equipped to handle evolving challenges in education. This research provides valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and institutions seeking to improve ethical standards and support teacher growth.

Abstract

This study seeks to establish how parents influence students’ academic achievement as well as the efficiency of school administration with the purpose of narrowing the gaps in the current literature concerning both the mediators of the relationships between parental engagement and results, as well as the moderating variables. Using a quantitative research strategy, a sampling of 500 parents, educators and school officials completed standardized questionnaires. The findings describe a positive relationship between parental involvement and students’ academic achievement and the perception of the school’s administration efficiency. In more detail, enhanced parental involvement was connected with increased students’ performance and effective school management. The study also reveals that parental involvement affects the performance of students directly controlling all other factors including school administration. This draws attention to the genuine and significant contribution of parental involvement in improving student performance which has not been given much emphasis in prior research chiefly couched in general benefits. The study also confirms that the role of parental involvement is to provide insulation to academic performance since the social economic inequalities are likely to have negative effects on the performance of the student. This work also supports context-based intervention approaches that successfully promote appropriate parental involvement efforts; in the cultures or regions where parents of the learners have language barriers or other forms of hardship. In this way, the research provides important knowledge for educators, policymakers and researchers targeting at increasing educational equity and school effectiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media Canva terhadap peningkatan keterampilan desain grafis siswa kelas VII di SMPN 10 Barru. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen pretest-posttest, melibatkan 26 siswa sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest dan posttest, lalu dianalisis menggunakan uji t-test dengan SPSS 29. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada nilai rata-rata keterampilan desain grafis siswa, yaitu dari 61,27 menjadi 86,69 setelah penerapan media Canva, dengan nilai Sig. <0,001. Canva memberikan kemudahan bagi siswa untuk mengeksplorasi desain melalui berbagai fitur intuitif, sedangkan teknik pengulangan memperkuat pemahaman dan penerapan konsep desain. Kombinasi ini menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang interaktif, kreatif, dan efektif. Hasil ini mendukung pentingnya penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan desain grafis siswa.

Abstract

Toman fish seeds (Channa micropeltes) generally come from natural catches in South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan. A closed system is an effort to efficiency transportation costs by increasing the density of fish in transport media. Efforts to reduce stress levels are very important so that they can transport a lot, have small deaths, and take a longer time, and do not disturb the physiology of the fish after transportation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving 3 ppt salt in transport media to the survival of fish during transportation. This research consists of two stages of activity, that is stage one is transportation for 12 hours and stage two was post-transportation maintenance for 11 days. In stage one, the plastic bag is filled with 10 L of water and is packed according to the treatment. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments 3 refitition to produce 12 experimental units. K treatment density of 30 heads / bag with no salt water (0 ppt) and treatment A: B: C with density (30: 50: 70) tail / bag with salt water (3 ppt). The calculation of the highest survival rate in treatment A was 97.80%. The results of analysis of varians (ANOVA) that the treatment has a real effect on survival rate in fish seed transport toman. Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi telah membawa transformasi signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, salah satunya melalui penggunaan alat desain grafis seperti Canva. Media pembelajaran berbasis Canva dinilai mampu meningkatkan motivasi siswa serta efektivitas proses belajar mengajar, seiring dengan tuntutan generasi digital yang membutuhkan metode pembelajaran yang lebih dinamis dan kreatif. Dengan antarmuka yang ramah pengguna dan fitur desain yang canggih, Canva memungkinkan guru dan siswa menciptakan materi pembelajaran visual yang menarik, seperti infografis, presentasi, dan poster, sehingga memperkaya pengalaman belajar. Namun, masih terdapat kesenjangan dalam penguasaan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) di kalangan guru, seperti yang terjadi di SMP Muhammadiyah Takkalasi, di mana 60% guru belum menguasai teknologi pendidikan. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, dilakukan pelatihan bertajuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Desain Media Pembelajaran Melalui Canva bagi Tenaga Pendidik SMP Muhammadiyah Takkalasi pada 12 September 2024. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 13 guru dengan metode yang mencakup presentasi teori, demonstrasi praktis, dan sesi praktik bersama. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan desain grafis peserta, pemahaman konsep desain visual, serta kemampuan menciptakan media pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan efektif. Guru juga merasa lebih percaya diri dalam memanfaatkan Canva untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang inovatif dan interaktif.

Abstract

Development Of Marble Maze Media For Training Problem-Solving Skills In Early Childhood. This research aims to produce valid Marble Maze media to enhance problem-solving skills in early childhood, specifically for children aged 4-5 years. The study follows a Research and Development approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data were collected through observations, interviews, literature reviews, and questionnaires. The results indicate that the Marble Maze media, which is effective for enhancing problem-solving skills, features labyrinth games with winding paths and sticker challenges. The feasibility of the Marble Maze media, based on validation results from media experts, received a score of 90%, categorizing it as "very valid." Similarly, validation results from material experts also scored 87%, confirming its very valid status. The effectiveness of the Marble Maze media is assessed based on trial results, which indicate that it is very valid. Validation results from both experts confirm that the product is valid.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa SMAN 1 Gowa dalam memahami dan mengaplikasikan strategi pemasaran digital berbasis teknologi. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk menjawab tantangan era digital yang menuntut penguasaan keterampilan pemasaran modern. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyampaian materi melalui presentasi, diskusi interaktif, dan praktik langsung menggunakan berbagai platform digital, seperti media sosial, marketplace, dan perangkat lunak pemasaran. Peserta dilatih untuk menyusun strategi pemasaran, membuat konten digital, dan menganalisis performa kampanye menggunakan alat analitik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep pemasaran digital dan kemampuan mereka dalam mempraktikkannya, yang diukur melalui evaluasi pretest dan posttest. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan minat yang tinggi untuk menerapkan ilmu yang diperoleh dalam proyek atau usaha yang dikelola secara mandiri. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa pelatihan pemasaran digital berbasis teknologi efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi siswa, sehingga diharapkan mampu menjadi bekal bagi mereka untuk bersaing di dunia kerja maupun dalam mendukung kegiatan kewirausahaan.

Abstract

Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah 1) Menambah pengetahuan serta wawasan kepada guru tentang media pembelajaran; 2) mengubah pola pikir guru untuk selalu berinovasi dalam menyusun multimedia pembelajaran, 3) Memberikan pengalaman langsung bagi guru tentang langkah-langkah dalam menyusun mulitimedia pembelajaran yang interaktif; 4) meningkatnya motivasi untuk mengembangkan bahan ajarnya sendiri. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 12 Bulukumba Desa Balibo Kecamatan Kindang Kabupaten Bulukumba. Peserta pada kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari tenaga pendidik (guru) SD, SMP dan SMA yang berada pada wilayah pemerintahan Desa Balibo Kecamatan Kindang Kabupaten Bulukumba. Metode dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini melalui tahapan persiapan, tahapan pelaksanaan dan tahapan pendampingan pembuatan multimedia interaktif berbasis aplikasi flipbook maker. Dari hasil wawancara peserta pelatihan memberikan respon positif dan sangat mengapresiasi kegiatan pelatihan mereka mengatakan bahwa ada banyak peningkatan pengetahuan baru yang didapatkan selama pelatihan ini terkhusus strategi dalam pemilihan multimedia interaktif yang efektif dalam pengaplikasiannya.
