Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between dyslipidemia and the estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR) values in a healthy population without a history of diabetes mellitus. Data were part of the cohort study database of 2019. Data analysis was perfomed using descriptive and inferential statistics with linear regression in 893 of 1,545 non-diabetic participants. The results showed that the average cholesterol levels, High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL), Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL), and triglycerides were 196.75, 48.71, 123.37, and 109.56 mg/dl, respectively, and the average eGFR level of the respondents was 98.47±15.50 mg/dl. This study found that age, HDL levels, and LDL levels had a significant relationship with eGFR (p<0.05). It was concluded that increasing age and LDL levels and decreasing HDL levels would decrease eGFR.

Abstract

Kreativitas merupakan salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki atau dicapai peserta didik pada pembelajaran  abad 21. Oleh karena itu, berdasarkan kurikulum 2013, kreativitas atau keterampilan beripikir kreatif diimplementasikan dalam proses belajar mengajar, yang salah satu di antaranya adalah pada pembelajaran teaching factory. Penelitian ini bertujuan  mendeskripsikan pengaruh kreativitas kuliner terhadap keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran teaching factory. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui seberapa besar aspek kreativitas kuliner berpengaruh terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran teaching factory. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yakni 180 siswa SMK. Penarikan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus slovin, sehingga didapatkan jumlah sampel penelitian yakni sebanyak 124 siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode angket dengan instrumen berupa kuesioner tertutup, dengan gradasi dari sangat positif sampai sangat negatif dan sebaliknya. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis regresi linier ganda melalui bantuan program komputer SPSS 23 for Windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan ada tidaknya pengaruh kreativitas kuliner responden terhadap keterlibatannya pada pembelajaran teaching factory. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa aspek-aspek kreativitas kuliner secara simultan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap aspek-aspek keterlibatan peserta didik pada teaching factory, yaitu 10 aspek kompetensi kerja sebesar 8.961 dan aspek dukungan kelancaran usaha sebesar 5.613. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat ditarik simpulan bahwa kreativitas kuliner secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap pembelajaran teaching factory siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan.

Abstract

Based on the phenomenon that occurs in the field, the world of work requires graduates who not only graduate with high grades but also have strong communication skills, honesty and the ability to cooperate with others. Interpersonal communication is needed for work readiness for everyone who will continue in the world of work, especially in the field of education. One of them is teachers, because the interpersonal communication that teachers use tends to produce relationships that are able to influence each other. In general, this study aims to analyze the effect of interpersonal communication on Faculty of Engineering students on work readiness to become teachers. The type of research is quantitative through survey methods and data collection techniques through purposive sampling. The results of hypothesis analysis obtained Sig value. variable X is 0.000 <0.05 and thus the conclusion is Ha accepted and Ho rejected. The results generally found the influence of interpersonal communication (X) on job readiness to become a teacher (Y). Furthermore, the t table is obtained which is worth 2.352 and has a significance of a = 5%. The reference is t count> t table (5.338> 2.352), thus the conclusion is that there is a positive influence of interpersonal communication on job readiness to become a teacher.

Abstract

This narrative review explores the critical role of teacher digital literacy in shaping effective pedagogy and student engagement within 21st-century education. The study aims to synthesize empirical findings and global perspectives on the development, challenges, and implications of digital competence among educators. Using a systematic literature analysis, sources were drawn from Scopus, Google Scholar, ERIC, and related databases, focusing on studies from 2019 to 2024. Keywords included teacher digital literacy, ICT in education, and technology integration. The review identifies significant associations between teachers’ digital skills and their ability to adopt innovative, student-centered teaching methods. It further highlights challenges such as infrastructural deficits, inconsistent training, and policy limitations, especially in socioeconomically disadvantaged and geographically remote settings. Comparative analysis reveals that nations with structured professional development and supportive policies show higher digital competence and better learning outcomes. Best practices include collaborative learning communities, curriculum integration frameworks like TPACK, and sustained investment in educational infrastructure. The review concludes that developing teacher digital literacy requires coordinated policy, targeted funding, and culturally responsive training. These efforts are essential to address persistent digital divides and build equitable, inclusive educational systems capable of adapting to future technological demands.

Abstract

Background: Children with moderate intellectual disabilities exhibit characteristics of stiff and uncoordinated movements, as well as problems in the development of fine motor skills. Fine motor skills in children with moderate intellectual disabilities who are not trained will hinder their fine motor skills. Playdough is a stimulus for improving the fine motor skills of children with moderate intellectual disabilities. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of playdough on the fine motor skills of children with moderate intellectual disabilities at SLBN A Citeureup, Cimahi City, in 2024. Method: The research design used a pre-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The study population consisted of 26 children from grades 1 to 5, selected using purposive sampling. The playdough intervention was conducted four times over two weeks, using an observation sheet for fine motor skills in children with moderate intellectual disabilities as the instrument. Results: The median pretest score was 4.00, while the median posttest score was 7.00, with the lowest score being 0 and the highest score being 9. Bivariate analysis showed a p-value of 0.0001. Conclusion: There is an effect of playdough play on the fine motor skills of children with moderate intellectual disabilities at SLBN A Citeureup, Cimahi City.

Abstract

Preeklampsia merupakan peningkatan tekanan darah diikuti dengan peningkatan protein dalam urin. Skrining preeklamsia dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi wanita hamil yang berisiko tinggi mengalami kondisi ini. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi preeklamsi berdasarkan faktor risiko ibu hamil di Kota Cirebon, Jawa Barat. Metode: penelitian ini menggunakan studi observasional dengan metode cross-sectional. Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Hasil analisis: Hasil uji Chi Square didapatkan terdapat hubungan pada variabel usia (P=0,001), paritas (P=00,8), kejadian hipertensi (P=0,009) dan variabel yang paling dominan berpengaruh dengan kejadian preeklamsia adalah variabel kejadian hipertensi yang memiliki nilai Expected (B) sebesar 6,103. Kesimpulan : Terdapat hubunga antara usia ibu, paritas ibu, dan kejadian hipertensi dengan kejadian preeklamsia.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji penelitian terkait dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Inquiry Based Learning (IBL)dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung da operasi bilangan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bermula daripermasalahan kemampuan berhitung dan operasi bilangan anak di TK Budi Asih yang seringkali mengalamihambatan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal, kemampuan anak dalam aspek berhitung dan operasi bilangan masih belum optimal, hal tersebut ditandai dengan masih banyaknya anak yang hanya dapat menyebutkan bilangan dari 1 sampai 10 tanpa memahami arti dari bilangan tersebut, anak terlihat belum mampu membilang dengan menggunakan benda, belum mampu menjumlah dengan menggunakan benda dan belum mampu melakukan pengurangan dengan benda. Permasalahan tersebut perlu diatasi dengan penggunaan cara yang tepat, dalam penelitian ini solusi yang digunakan yaitu model pembelajaran IBL.

Abstract

The high unemployment rate among vocational high school (SMK) graduates in Indonesia, particularly in Malang City, signals a pressing need to strengthen students’ work readiness. Despite technical competencies acquired at school, many graduates struggle to meet industry expectations due to gaps in non-technical skills. This study aims to examine the influence of field work practices (PKL) and soft skills namely written communication, problem solving, leadership, and teamwork on the work readiness of culinary students at three public vocational schools in Malang. A quantitative approach was used, involving a total population of 80 students from SMKN 3, SMKN 7, and SMKN 12 Malang, all of whom had completed their PKL. As the population was under 100, total sampling was applied. Data were collected using a validated and reliable Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. Prior to regression, classical assumption tests were conducted to ensure normality, linearity, and absence of multicollinearity. The results show that field work practice did not have a significant partial effect on work readiness (sig. = 0.912), nor did the soft skill aspects of written communication (sig. = 0.897) and leadership (sig. = 0.088). However, problem solving (sig. = 0.002) and teamwork (sig. = 0.000) skills significantly influenced students’ work readiness. Simultaneously, PKL and all soft skills collectively had a significant influence, accounting for 61.5% of the variance in work readiness. These findings highlight the importance of integrating targeted soft skills development especially teamwork and problem-solving into vocational education to better align with industry demands

Abstract

The high number of HIV/AIDS infections that continue to increase, especially among young people or teenagers, makes this a serious problem. Therefore, efforts are needed to increase adolescent knowledge about HIV/AIDS, one of which is through health promotion. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the effectiveness of health promotion media between leaflets and powerpoint on the level of adolescent knowledge about HIV/AIDS at SMA YABAKII 2 Gandrungmangu Cilacap. The research method used was pre-experimental with a two-group pre-test post-test design. Sampling with a total sampling of 116 respondents. Based on the results of the study, the average knowledge after being given health promotion about HIV/AIDS with leaflet media was 18.05 while with powerpoint media it was 18.60. The Mann Whitney test results obtained a p-value of 0.028 smaller than 0.05 (0.028 0.05) which means there is a difference in the effectiveness of health promotion media between leaflets and powerpoint. The use of powerpoint media is more effective than leaflet to increase adolescent knowledge about HIV/AIDS at SMA YABAKII 2 Gandrungmangu Cilacap. It is hoped that health workers will contribute more to health promotion in schools so that they can reduce HIV/AIDS cases in Indonesia.

Abstract

Technological developments are a challenge for the world of education, including in the learning process, which requires various digital platforms, such as Quizzizz. This research aims to analyze the literature regarding Quizizz as a learning media and evaluation tool at the elementary school level. This research uses a systematic literature review through five stages: determining the study topic, searching for articles, selecting the article, analyzing the literature, and drawing conclusions. In this study, we analyzed 24 articles related to the focus of the study, namely quizizz in elementary school learning. These articles are selected articles published from 2019 to 2024. The literature study results show that: 1) The Quizizz platform was developed as a learning media because it has a presentation feature consisting of various attractive displays to make the presentation media more interactive. 2) The Quizizz platform is generally used as an evaluation tool. The platform has many features for learning assessment, such as multiple choice assessments, open questions, matching questions, and categorizing questions. Furthermore, the feature includes flexible assessments with images, videos, and audio answers. 3) In general, using the Quizizz platform impacts student learning outcomes; in other words, students' understanding increases after studying material through Quizizz. Apart from that, the use of Quizizz also has an impact on students' learning motivation, enthusiasm, and skill development. Based on this, Quizizz is an important platform for teachers to develop innovative learning, develop various skills, and prepare students to face the challenges of the times and technological developments
