Abstract

Child Friendly School (SRA) or also often called Child Friendly Education Unit is an educational policy that has the aim of creating an atmosphere and conditions of schools that are safe, inclusive, and support the growth and development of children. Principals have an important role in implementing the policy at the school level. This study aims to investigate the roles and challenges faced by school principals in implementing the Child Friendly School (SRA) policy. This research uses a review of relevant literature sources. The results stated that the role of school principals is very important in designing, implementing, and evaluating Child Friendly School (SRA) programs in schools. The principal has a role as a manager, supervisor, as well as a transformational leader who encourages synergy between school community members, then also ensures that child protection principles are applied, and ensures that all activities at school take place safely without violence, discrimination, and bullying. The challenges for school principals during the implementation of SRA include the limitations of adequate facilities and infrastructure, the lack of a comprehensive understanding of the concept of Child Friendly Schools, and the low involvement of parents in supporting the SRA policy in some schools. In conclusion, this study emphasizes the importance of strengthening the capacity of school principals through continuous training and formulating more practical policies so that the implementation of Child Friendly School (SRA) policies can run effectively and sustainably so that it can be optimally implemented in all schools in Indonesia.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance students’ ability to develop independent career plans by applying the mind mapping technique through the Coggle application. The program employed a coaching approach utilizing the IGROW model, which consists of five key components: Intention, Goal, Reality, Options, and Will/Way Forward. The participants of this training were students from SMK GIKI 1. To ensure a systematic and practical coaching process, the IGROW model was implemented throughout the sessions. The results showed that the training effectively equipped students with the ability to visualize and plan their careers systematically, including mapping their interests, further education goals, and required skills. Evaluation findings indicated a significant improvement in students’ understanding of career planning, as evidenced by the difference between pre-test and post-test scores. Therefore, this training was proven effective in helping students prepare for their future careers in a more structured and potential-oriented manner.

Abstract

Olahraga menempati salah satu kedudukan terpenting dalam kehidupan manusia untuk menjaga tubuh tetap sehat dan bugar. Dalam dunia modern ini, olahraga menjadi sebuah kebutuhkan bagi manusia. Seperti halnya pada program kegiatan di Ponpes (Pondok Pesantren) Pondok Pesantren “Walisongo” Sragen selaku Mitra PKM, olahraga merupakan bagian dari aktivitas untuk mengimbangi kegiatan-kegiatan selain kegiatan keagamaan dan pelajaran sekolah. Ponpes/ Pondok Pesantren “Walisongo” Sragen Sragen merupakan salah satu pesantren yang mempunyai komitmen besar dalam pengembangan kemandirian karakter bagi santrinya, dan olahraga bagian untuk menjaga kestabilan staminanya. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi lapangan, masalah yang dihadapi oleh mitra yaitu; 1) masih kurangnya kegiatan atau aktivitas Jasmani dan olahraga di lingkungan Ponpes, 2) sarana prasasarana olahraga masih belum mencukupi. Solusi dan pendekatan yang ditawarkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi dapat segera teratasi antara lain; 1) aktivitas olahraga dalam hal ini bisa dicontohkan dengan tenis meja sebagai kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan Kesehatan, kamadirian dan karakter, 2) dengan pemberian bantuan peralatan olahraga dapat memberi motivasi bagi siswa atau santri untuk melakukan aktivitas olahraga secara umum dan tenis meja pada khususnya. Target luaran hasil yang akan dicapai pada program pengabdian diantaranya dilakukan para pengasuh secara kontinyu, dan juga pada pihak sekolah, guru, para siswa, serta santri terhadap aktivitas fisik dalam hal ini olahrag sepak bola, karena kegiatan ini belum pernah dilakukan di sekolah mereka.

Abstract

Ketahanan pangan merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat pedesaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pangan masyarakat Desa Trawas, Kecamatan Trawas, Kabupaten Mojokerto, serta menilai kemampuan produksi pangan lokal dalam memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan 16 rumah tangga sebagai sampel melalui wawancara mendalam untuk memperoleh data konsumsi pangan pokok, sayur, dan sumber protein. Data kemudian dikonversi menjadi kebutuhan pangan tahunan per kapita dan total kebutuhan desa berdasarkan jumlah penduduk sekitar 3.000 jiwa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata konsumsi pangan per orang per tahun adalah 102 kg beras, 54 kg sayur, dan 27,6 kg protein, sehingga total kebutuhan pangan desa mencapai sekitar 550 ton per tahun. Sementara itu, kapasitas produksi pangan lokal yang bersumber dari lahan pertanian seluas 3,73 hektar hanya menghasilkan sekitar 15,6 ton per tahun, atau sekitar 3% dari kebutuhan total. Untuk mencapai kondisi swasembada pangan, Desa Trawas memerlukan sekitar 134 hektar lahan produktif, sementara lahan aktual masih jauh dari kebutuhan tersebut. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa Desa Trawas masih mengalami defisit pangan yang tinggi dan bergantung pada pasokan dari luar wilayah. Diperlukan strategi peningkatan produktivitas, optimalisasi lahan pekarangan, serta diversifikasi pangan lokal guna mewujudkan ketahanan pangan berkelanjutan di tingkat desa.

Abstract

Objective: This study examines the partial and simultaneous effects of service quality and organizational performance on the satisfaction of educators and education personnel in regional education bureaucracies in Indonesia. This study addresses a critical gap in understanding internal customer satisfaction in public education institutions. Method: A quantitative survey design was used, with data collected from 380 educators and civil servant staff at the Bojonegoro Regency Education Office using a validated 5-point Likert-type questionnaire. Statistical analysis included descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression using SPSS 31.0. Results: Both service quality (β = .809, R² = 65.5%) and organizational performance (β = .920, R² = 84.6%) significantly influenced educator satisfaction. Together, they explained 87.5% of the variance in satisfaction. Although all SERVQUAL dimensions were rated positively, empathy (R=4.45) and efficiency aspects showed room for improvement compared to physical facilities (R=4.63). Novelty: This study provides empirical evidence on the dominance of organizational performance over service quality in determining internal satisfaction within the education bureaucracy. It offers contextual insights into Indonesian public sector reform, particularly highlighting the need for empathetic service delivery alongside structural improvements.

Abstract

This study investigates the educational policy process in response to the decline in new student enrollment at Private Vocational High Schools (SMKS) in Mojokerto Regency and City for the 2025-2026 Academic Year. Utilizing Anderson's Public Policy theory, it traces the issue's evolution from an internal problem to an institutional one. Data were collected through document analysis, structured interviews with school principals and local education office officials, and policy observation. The findings reveal that the decline, initially an internal issue of attractiveness and competition, escalated into a public problem as it affected 35% of private SMKs. It further transformed into a systemic Education Policy Issue upon the discovery of an imbalanced quota allocation, where public schools accommodated only 38% of junior high school graduates, creating inequity for private SMKs. The issue was elevated to the institutional agenda through interventions such as reviewing admission quotas, advocating for fairer zoning, and enhancing collaboration with the Business and Industrial World (DUDI). The study concludes that Anderson's model provides an effective framework for understanding education policy dynamics in crisis response and underscores the need for inclusive policies to ensure the sustainability of private vocational education. These findings offer practical contributions for policymakers in designing more responsive and sustainable interventions

Abstract

Quality education is essential for national progress, but low literacy and numeracy competencies among students negatively affect Indonesia's educational outcomes. This study aimed to identify learning losses in literacy and numeracy among elementary school students, provide targeted interventions and mentoring, and evaluate their impact. A qualitative field study was conducted in 10 elementary schools in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency, South Kalimantan. The study involved 20 students per school, spanning grades 2 to 6. Data were collected through 10-question assessments for each student, interviews with principals, teachers, and parents, as well as observation and documentation. The findings revealed significant learning losses during the pandemic, with a 56.5% decline in numeracy competence and a 62.95% decline in literacy competence. Targeted interventions included inquiry learning, quantum teaching, project-based learning, and contextual learning models. Post-intervention, literacy competence increased by 31.2%, while numeracy competence improved by 17.5%. The results demonstrate that tailored learning models and strategies effectively address learning losses. Teachers play a critical role in adapting these approaches to match students' cognitive development and targeted competencies. Enhancing literacy and numeracy requires innovative teaching models and continuous adaptation of strategies to students’ needs. These findings emphasize the importance of flexible and student-centered learning practices to mitigate learning losses and improve educational outcomes.

Abstract

Despite the increasing relevance of digital competence in education, elementary school teachers' digital learning behaviors often do not align with current expectations. Enhancing these behaviors is essential for building an inclusive school ecosystem. This study investigates the impact of principals' empowering leadership on teachers' digital learning behavior, with self-efficacy as a mediating factor.A quantitative research design was employed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Data were collected through purposive sampling from 340 teachers participating in the emancipated school program. Respondents were selected based on their involvement in schools with digitally transformative leadership and self-efficacy development initiatives. The analysis followed three stages: (1) validity and reliability testing; (2) model fit assessment; and (3) hypothesis testing.The findings revealed that empowering leadership directly influences digital learning behavior, accounting for 65.4% of the variance. Additionally, self-efficacy plays a mediating role, contributing 29.5%. Although empowering leadership emerged as the dominant factor, the mediation effect suggests that self-efficacy remains a crucial element in fostering effective digital learning behaviors among teachers. The study highlights that teachers with higher self-efficacy are more receptive to empowering leadership, especially in the context of digital learning. These findings underscore the importance of fostering both strong leadership and personal belief in capability to promote sustainable digital competence in schools.

Abstract

Kebijakan Teaching Factory (TeFa) merupakan langkah strategis pemerintah dalam menyinergikan proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) dengan kebutuhan Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri (DUDI), sehingga lulusan memiliki keterampilan yang relevan dengan tuntutan pasar kerja masa kini. SMKN 13 Surabaya menjadi salah satu sekolah pelaksana kebijakan ini, khususnya pada kompetensi keahlian Teknik Permesinan, dengan tujuan mencetak lulusan yang profesional dan kompetitif di dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji implementasi kebijakan Teaching Factory menggunakan model implementasi kebijakan George C. Edward III, yang menitikberatkan pada empat dimensi utama, yakni komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi, dan struktur birokrasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus, di mana data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru produktif, instruktur industri, serta siswa. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman melalui proses kondensasi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Teaching Factory di SMKN 13 Surabaya berjalan cukup optimal. Komunikasi dan koordinasi antara sekolah dan industri berlangsung efektif, sumber daya manusia kompeten, dan struktur birokrasi mendukung melalui penerapan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP). Meski demikian, peningkatan fasilitas praktik serta evaluasi berkelanjutan masih diperlukan agar implementasi Teaching Factory semakin efektif di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Sekolah ramah anak yang berbasis pada pemenuhan hak-hak anak merupakan upaya strategis untuk menyediakan pendidikan yang berkualitas, aman, dan inklusif bagi seluruh peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan Sekolah Ramah Anak (SRA) di Kabupaten Gresik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan lapangan untuk memperoleh data mendalam melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan implementasi kebijakan SRA sangat dipengaruhi oleh empat faktor utama sebagaimana dikemukakan oleh George C. Edwards III, yaitu komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi, dan struktur birokrasi. Komunikasi yang efektif antar pelaksana kebijakan menciptakan pemahaman yang jelas mengenai tujuan dan prosedur kebijakan SRA. Sumber daya manusia yang kompeten serta sarana dan prasarana yang memadai menjadi penunjang utama kelancaran pelaksanaan di sekolah. Disposisi positif kepala sekolah, guru, dan tenaga kependidikan memperkuat komitmen mereka dalam menjalankan kebijakan, sementara struktur birokrasi yang terkoordinasi dengan baik antar pelaksana mempermudah proses implementasi di lapangan. Temuan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kebijakan sekolah ramah anak bukan sekadar peraturan formal, melainkan sebuah komitmen bersama antara pemerintah, sekolah, dan masyarakat untuk mewujudkan lingkungan pendidikan yang aman, inklusif, dan berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, implementasi kebijakan SRA di Kabupaten Gresik menunjukkan pentingnya sinergi antar berbagai pemangku kepentingan untuk menjamin pemenuhan hak-hak anak dalam pendidikan serta membentuk generasi yang berkarakter, berdaya, dan terlindungi.
