Abstract

This study aims to describe in depth the patterns of errors in Arabic writing and the factors causing these errors in the use of the imla’ mandzur method in class VIII 2 at Al-Falah Islamic Junior High School in Jambi. This study is decriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The reserch subjects consisted of Arabic language teachers and eighth grade students. Data analysis was carried out throught the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that there were five patterns of writing errors mare by students, namely errors in connecting letters, errors in writing hamzah qath’I, errors in reducing letters, errors in writing similar-sounding Hijaiyyah letters, and errors in wriring harakat. The factors causing these errrors include diverse educational backgrounds, lack of practice in writing Arabic, and concentration factors, namely lack of focus during learning. The implications of this study indicate that the application of the imla’ mandzur method needs to be accompanied by intensive practice and guidance so that students are able to write letters or spellings in Arabic according to the correct writing rules, as well as providing input for teachers to improve the effectiveness of Arabic writing intruction in schools. This research also contributes to improving students’ accuracy and motivation in Arabic writing.

Abstract

Transformasi digital desa merupakan langkah strategis dalam mewujudkan tata kelola pemerintahan yang transparan, partisipatif, dan efisien. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas aparatur Desa Ladang Peris melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan manajemen desa berbasis web. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan teknis dua hari dan pendampingan intensif selama satu bulan, mencakup pengelolaan konten website, integrasi layanan publik digital, serta manajemen data administrasi desa. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan participatory action training dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, pelatihan berbasis praktik (hands-on learning), dan evaluasi berbasis capaian kompetensi digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan terhadap kemampuan teknis aparatur desa dalam mengelola website dan sistem informasi desa. Berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test, terjadi peningkatan skor rata-rata kompetensi digital sebesar 42,8%. Selain itu, perangkat desa berhasil mengembangkan beberapa fitur inovatif, seperti formulir digital layanan publik, sistem pelaporan masyarakat, serta menu informasi kegiatan desa. Dampak jangka pendek dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya efisiensi pelayanan publik dan transparansi informasi desa. Program ini juga memperlihatkan pentingnya kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi dan pemerintah desa dalam memperkuat ekosistem digital di wilayah pedesaan. Pendekatan yang menekankan pelatihan berbasis praktik dan pendampingan berkelanjutan terbukti efektif dalam membangun budaya kerja digital di tingkat desa. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini dapat menjadi model replikasi bagi desa lain dalam mewujudkan tata kelola berbasis web menuju desa digital yang berdaya saing dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi.

Abstract

Arabic language learning in Islamic elementary schools often faces challenges due to students’ low learning interest, caused by monotonous conventional methods and limited learning media. This study aims to describe the implementation of the singing method (thariqah al-ghina'iyyah) in Arabic learning for Grade 5A at MI Nurul Yaqin Sungai Duren and to analyze how this method stimulates students’ learning interest. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach involving 24 students, one Arabic teacher, and the school principal. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis followed Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the singing method was implemented in three stages: preparation, implementation, and follow-up, applying principles of contextualization, differentiation, and interactivity. The method functions as a multimodal stimulus that lowers the affective filter, strengthens vocabulary memory through dual coding, and fulfills students’ psychological needs for competence, relatedness, and autonomy. The results show a significant increase in learning interest, reflected in students’ enthusiasm, active participation, and attentiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the process and strategies of using thedemonstration method to improve mahārah al-kalām (Arabic speaking skills) and to determine the obstacles faced by students at SMP IT Al-Khalifah Sarolangun. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the main factors affecting students’ Arabic speaking skills include limited vocabulary mastery, lack of repetition (murāja‘ah), low motivation, and insufficient time and facilities. The application of the demonstration method by teachers, such as performing objects or simple conversations, successfully increased student engagement in learning and improved vocabulary comprehension. However, the effectiveness of this method largely depends on students’ learning motivation as well as support from their families and school environment. This study is expected to serve as a reference for Arabic teachers to be more creative in applying teaching methods, particularly the demonstration method, to enhance students’ Arabic speaking skills.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru melalui pelatihan penggunaan media EdTech di SMAN 2 Sungai Penuh. Pelatihan yang diikuti oleh 25 guru dari berbagai mata pelajaran ini dilaksanakan selama dua hari dengan menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang secara aktif melibatkan guru pada setiap tahap kegiatan, mulai dari identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, refleksi, hingga replikasi program. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pre-test dan post-test, terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan pada kompetensi pedagogik digital guru, dengan rata-rata skor meningkat dari 57,6% menjadi 86,3%, atau mengalami kenaikan sebesar 28,7 poin persentase. Peningkatan tertinggi terjadi pada kemampuan merancang media interaktif (32,2%) dan penggunaan Learning Management System (31,0%). Guru yang sebelumnya hanya menggunakan PowerPoint kini mampu mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital berbasis Canva, Wordwall, Kahoot!, Padlet, dan Google Forms. Sebanyak 88% peserta juga melaporkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam mengimplementasikan teknologi di kelas. Selain itu, terbentuknya EdTech Teacher Community SMAN 2 Sungai Penuh menjadi langkah awal dalam membangun ekosistem digital berkelanjutan di lingkungan sekolah. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berbasis praktik dan simulasi micro-teaching efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesionalisme guru, sekaligus menjadi model pengembangan kapasitas guru berbasis teknologi yang dapat direplikasi di sekolah lain.
