Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of halal labels and brand trust on purchasing decisions for Wardah face masks through purchasing interest in Semarang City Students. The research method used is quantitative with data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires to 384 respondents who use Wardah face masks among Semarang City students. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique with the help of SmartPLS software. The results of this study indicate that halal labels do not have a significant effect on purchasing interest and purchasing decisions, brand trust has a significant effect on purchasing interest and purchasing decisions, in addition, purchasing interest is proven to be significant as an intervening variable for brand trust on purchasing decisions, and purchasing interest does not have a significant effect as an intervening variable for halal labels on purchasing decisions. These findings indicate that trust in a trusted product can increase purchasing interest and ultimately drive purchasing decisions. This study provides implications for companies to build brand trust in order to increase purchasing interest and consumer purchasing decisions, especially among students. In addition, the results of this study are expected to be a reference for further research that discusses consumer behavior in the halal cosmetics industry.

Abstract

The cosmetics industry in Indonesia is experiencing rapid growth, encouraging local brands such as Somethinc to continuously innovate in their marketing strategies. This study aims to analyze the influence of social media marketing, online consumer reviews, and price perception on purchase intention of Somethinc products, especially among Generation Z in Semarang City. Brand image is tested as a mediating variable in the relationship between these three factors and purchase intention. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 399 Generation Z respondents who are Somethinc product users. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique and refers to the Slovin formula. Data processing and analysis were carried out using path analysis techniques with the help of SmartPLS 3 software. The results show that social media, online consumer reviews, and price perception have a positive and significant influence on Somethinc's brand image. In addition, brand image is also proven to have a positive and significant influence on consumer purchase intention. However, social media marketing does not directly have a significant influence on purchase intention. In contrast, online consumer reviews and price perception have a positive and significant direct influence on purchase intention. Brand image acts as a strong mediator in strengthening the influence of these three independent variables on purchase intention. These findings suggest that Something needs to strengthen its engaging and interactive social media content strategy, collaborate with influencers, and build two-way communication to enhance its brand image, which will ultimately drive purchasing interest from young consumers.

Abstract

Sentra batik Giriloyo merupakan salah satu industri yang berpusat pada kerajinan batik tradisional yang berkembang di Imogiri, Bantul. Dalam perkembangannya, Batik Giriloyo menjadi kekuatan ekonomi desa, namun seiring dengan perkembangan jaman banyak competitor batik hadir, baik dari dalam negeri maupun luar negeri. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengkaji peran sentra batik dalam meningkatkan ekonomi desa dan memberikan solusi atas manajemen keuangan yang dihadapi para pengrajin batik. Pendekatan yang digunakan dengan pengamatan mendalam dan penyuluhan dengan dilanjutkan penyuluhan serta pelatihan intensif. Hasil dari kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa Sentra Batik Giriloyo mampu meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, memberdayakan perempuan (ibu-ibu rumah tangga), mendorong regenerasi pembatik muda, dan memperkuat pengelolaan usaha. Dengan demikian, sentra batik tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pelestari budaya, tetapi juga sebagai penggerak ekonomi desa yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social media marketing and brand equity on purchase decisions with brand loyalty as a mediating variable. The method used is quantitative. A sample of 170 respondents was determined through purposive sampling techniques. Data was collected using a questionnaire that was shared with respondents who had purchased Dewkn_Cake product at least once and analyzed with SmartPLS version 3.0 tools. The results of the study show that social media marketing and brand equity have a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions. Additionally, brand loyalty has been shown to significantly mediate the influence between social media marketing, brand equity, and purchasing decisions. These findings underscore the importance of social media marketing strategies and strengthening brand equity to drive consumer loyalty and improve purchasing decisions

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality, social media marketing on decisions with purchase intention as an intervening variable in users of MS Glow skincare products in Pati Regency. The population used is all users of MS Glow skincare products in Pati Regency. This study uses non-probability sampling techniques, namely purposive sampling where the sample is taken based on certain criteria that must be met and the sample used is 97 respondents. This study uses the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, which is run with the help of SmartPLS version 3.0 software. to analyze the data. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the variables of product quality and social media marketing have no significant effect on purchasing decisions. Product quality and social media marketing variables have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. The purchase interest variable has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Purchasing interest variables can mediate the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions. The purchase interest variable cannot mediate the effect of social media marketing on purchasing decisions

Abstract

The establishment of new hotels in Semarang City has an impact on increasing competition between existing hotels. Many hotel choices make the hotel room occupancy rate reduced. Based on the increasing number of existing hotels that have an impact on decreasing occupancy rates, research on customer loyalty is conducted. The research was conducted at Grasia Hotel with 96 respondents with criteria as guests who have stayed more than twice and for criteria aged more than 20 years. The results showed that trust and facilities had a positive effect on customer loyalty

Abstract

Kinerja karyawan adalah salah satu elemen krusial yang menentukan kesuksesan dan keberlanjutan suatu perusahaan, terutama dalam industri ritel yang sangat kompetitif. Alfamart, sebagai salah satu jaringan ritel terbesar di Indonesia, menghadapi tantangan untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawannya agar dapat memberikan pelayanan berkualitas dan mencapai target perusahaan. Dua faktor yang berperan penting dalam hal ini adalah disiplin kerja dan kompensasi yang diberikan oleh perusahaan. Disiplin kerja mencakup kepatuhan karyawan terhadap aturan perusahaan, yang berhubungan langsung dengan efisiensi dan efektivitas operasional. Sementara itu, kompensasi yang memadai, baik dalam bentuk gaji maupun insentif, dapat meningkatkan motivasi karyawan untuk bekerja lebih giat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana disiplin kerja dan kompensasi memengaruhi kinerja karyawan di Alfamart, dengan fokus pada pengaruh positif kedua faktor ini terhadap kualitas pelayanan dan pencapaian target perusahaan. Temuan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang lebih efektif dan memberikan rekomendasi bagi perbaikan kebijakan di perusahaan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of consumer decisions on online purchases on the Tokopedia marketplace by PGRI Semarang University Management Students class of 2019, 2020, 2021. Respondents in this study were Management Students at PGRI Semarang University with a total of 134 respondents. The data collection process was carried out via an online survey using the Google form. This research uses quantitative methods. collecting data using nonprobability sampling technique.The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between brand ambassadors on purchasing decisions t count 2.390, there is a positive and significant influence between brand image on purchasing decisions t count 3.813, there is a positive and significant influence between price on purchasing decisions with t count 2.370, there is a negative and not significant effect between online customer reviews on purchasing decisions t count 0.384, there is a negative and not significant effect between online customer ratings on purchasing decisions with t count 0.158.
