Abstract

This activity aims to analyze the effectiveness of waste management in optimizing production costs in the Giriloyo Batik industry, located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. As a center for traditional batik production, Giriloyo faces environmental challenges due to the liquid waste generated from the dyeing process. This community service activity introduced hybrid constructed wetland technology as an environmentally friendly and cost-effective solution. Methods used included field observations, interviews with local artisans, and a comparative cost analysis before and after system implementation. The results showed a 30% reduction in monthly waste management costs and a significant improvement in wastewater quality, in accordance with environmental standards. Furthermore, this program increased community awareness and participation in sustainable production practices. Effective waste management not only reduces operational costs but also strengthens the long-term environmental responsibility of the small-scale batik industry. By integrating technology with community involvement, the program provides a sustainable model for waste management in similar artisanal sectors, contributing to both economic and environmental benefits.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh downsizing dan kompetensi terhadap job insecurity, serta menguji peran locus of control sebagai variabel moderasi pada pegawai RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati. Kebijakan pengurangan pegawai yang dilakukan pada tahun 2025 berdampak signifikan terhadap kondisi psikologis karyawan, di mana muncul kekhawatiran mengenai stabilitas pekerjaan akibat efisiensi anggaran dan perubahan struktur organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, melalui penyebaran kuesioner berbasis skala Likert kepada 134 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan SmartPLS versi 4 melalui pengujian model struktural (inner model) dan model pengukuran (outer model). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa downsizing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap job insecurity, yang berarti semakin tinggi tingkat pengurangan pegawai maka semakin tinggi tingkat ketidakamanan kerja yang dirasakan karyawan. Kompetensi juga terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap job insecurity, di mana karyawan berkompetensi tinggi justru memiliki kekhawatiran lebih besar terhadap tuntutan dan ekspektasi kinerja. Namun demikian, locus of control tidak mampu memoderasi pengaruh downsizing maupun kompetensi terhadap job insecurity, sehingga faktor psikologis individu tidak dapat memperkuat atau memperlemah dampak perubahan organisasi. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi manajemen untuk menerapkan kebijakan organisasi secara transparan, memperkuat komunikasi internal, serta menciptakan dukungan emosional dan iklim kerja yang kondusif guna mengurangi dampak psikologis negatif akibat perubahan organisasi.

Abstract

Tingkat partisipasi pemilih di Kota Semarang masih memiliki bervariasi jika dikaitkan dengan jenis pemilihan. Hal ini tentu menjadi perhatian, mengingat pentingnya pemilihan umum untuk mewujudkan pemerintahan yang berdasarkan kehendak rakyat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh daya tarik media sosial terhadap online engagement yang berdamapak pada minat memilih. Metode yang dikunakan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Kota Semarang yang telah memiliki hak pilih dengan jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 100 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa daya tarik media sosial berpengaruh terhadap minat memilih baik memiliki pengaruh langsung maupun melalui online engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, risk tolerance, and herding behavior on the investment decisions of Generation Z in IPO stocks, with prospectus information serving as a moderating variable. The research adopts a quantitative approach involving 180 Gen Z investors in Semarang City who purchased IPO stocks during the period of 2023 to 2025. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using SmartPLS version 4 to assess both the measurement model and the structural model. The findings reveal that financial literacy and herding behavior do not exhibit a significant direct effect on investment decisions. In contrast, risk tolerance shows a positive and significant influence, indicating that individuals with a higher ability to accept risk tend to make more decisive investment choices in IPO stocks. Furthermore, prospectus information does not moderate the relationship between financial literacy or risk tolerance and investment decisions, suggesting that the availability of information does not necessarily enhance the impact of these variables. Interestingly, prospectus information is found to strengthen the influence of herding behavior on investment decisions. This indicates that when investors are exposed to clear, detailed, and credible information, their tendency to follow the actions of the majority becomes more pronounced. Overall, the study highlights that psychological aspects, particularly risk tolerance play a crucial role in shaping Gen Z’s investment behavior, while informational factors may interact differently depending on the nature of the investor's behavioral tendencies.

Abstract

Pulau Karimunjawa, Kabupaten Jepara, memiliki potensi ekologi dan wisata bahari unggulan, namun menghadapi tantangan berupa sampah plastik, degradasi pesisir, rendahnya kesadaran lingkungan, serta kerentanan ekonomi akibat ketergantungan pada pariwisata. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, Universitas PGRI Semarang (UPGRIS) bersama National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (YunTech), Taiwan, melaksanakan program pengabdian masyarakat internasional dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan interdisipliner. Kegiatan meliputi aksi bersih pantai, edukasi pemilahan sampah, diskusi lintas budaya, produksi video kampanye digital, dan mini lecture internasional bertema eco-green innovation, sustainable tourism, serta cross-cultural communication. Program menghasilkan luaran nyata berupa 50 kg sampah terpilah, lima video edukatif, kelompok diskusi budaya, satu kuliah internasional, dan artikel ilmiah pengabdian. Dampaknya mencakup peningkatan kapasitas masyarakat dalam pengelolaan lingkungan, perluasan wawasan global sivitas akademika UPGRIS, serta pengalaman lintas budaya bagi mahasiswa YunTech. Keberlanjutan diarahkan pada KKN internasional, jejaring penelitian, media edukasi sekolah pesisir, dan monitoring pantai, yang mendukung pencapaian SDGs poin 13, 14, dan 17.

Abstract

In addition to physical health, mental health in adolescents really needs attention. Mentally healthy individuals can function normally in carrying out their lives, especially when adjusting to face problems that will be encountered throughout a person's life. The role of parents in the family is very influential, especially on the mental development of children. The service activities carried out in Gogik Village are providing education to families about adolescent mental health and how to maintain adolescent mental health. Based on an initial survey conducted to adolescent families in Gogik Village who were present, it was found that more than 87.5% of families did not know about how to maintain mental health in adolescents. Before being given increased knowledge with health education, out of 32 participants, 28 (87.5%) had less knowledge in maintaining mental health in adolescents. After being given increased knowledge with Health Education, it was known that as many as 32 participants (100%) had good knowledge in maintaining mental health in adolescents

Abstract

Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk memberikan Solusi yang di hadapi mitra. Mitra dalam kegiatan PKM ini Adalah Ibu-ibu PKK Kelurahan Krobokan yang sekaligus memiliki usaha Tempe dan Tahu Bakso. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah bagaimana memproduksi tempe dan tahu bakso yang lebih menarik dan bergizi, serta packaging untuk proses pemasaran produk. Permasalahan selanjutnya adalah permasalahan pemasaran, bagaimana memasarkan produk secara online supaya lebih luas dikenal konsumen. Sebelum mitra mendapatkan pelatihan memasarkan produk secara online, mitra diberikan pelatihan bagaimana packaging produk dan pengambilan foto produk supaya lebih menarik konsumen. Metode pelaksanaan PKM ini dibagi menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu tahap pertama proses produksi tempe dan tahu bakso yang menarik dan bergizi. Tahap yang kedua adalah penghitungan biaya produksi dan penentuan harga jual produk. Tahap ketiga adalah pelatihan pemasaran produk secara online dengan menggunakan media social dan akun e-commerce.Setelah mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini, Masyarakat Kelurahan Krobokan memiliki pemahaman mengenai pentingnya kandungan tempe dan dapat mengolahnya menjadi makanan yang lezat dan disukai anak-anak, sehingga dapat mencegah stunting dan dapat menjadi alternatif Upaya peningkatan pendapatan keluarga.

Abstract

The contemporary landscape of human resource management has witnessed work-life balance (WLB) emerging as a critical strategic concern, particularly for Generation Z employees entering today's evolving work environment. The progression of digitalization, increasing productivity expectations, and individual aspirations for well-being have intensified the relevance of examining WLB. This study investigates how technological and psychological dimensions influence WLB and explores the mediating function of external factors in that relationship. Employing a quantitative methodology anchored in Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis, complemented by qualitative insights drawn from Gen Z employees' workplace experiences across various Indonesian firms. The findings reveal that psychological variables exert the strongest impact on WLB, both directly and through external mediating factors. In contrast, technological aspects have a limited direct effect and show insignificant mediation. The novelty of this study lies in conceptualizing external conditions such as social support networks and adaptive organizational culture as intermediaries connecting technological and psychological influences on WLB, a perspective rarely explored among Indonesia's younger workforce. The results highlight the importance of psychosocial-oriented strategies in addressing WLB challenges amid the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of facilities and price perception on repurchase intention through purchase decision as mediating variables on customers Alfamart Ampelgading branch, Pemalang Regency. In order to retain consumers and increase sales to be stable, it is necessary to pay attention to store facilities whether the price set is a affordable by the community, so that it will increase purchasing decision in consumers. This study uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 96 respondents, using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using SmartPLS 4 in 2025 with a measurement model (inner model) and a structural model (outer model). The results of this study indicate that facilities and price perceptions have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, facilities and price perceptions have a positive and significant effect on repurchase intentions, purchase decisions have a positive and significant effect on repurchase intentions, fasilities and price perceptions have a positive and significant effect on repurchase intentions with purchase decisions as a mediating variables. These findings provide partical implications for companies, especially in maintaining facilities, meeting consumer needs, and maintining price consistency with quality to encourage repeat purchases after previously purchasing a product.

Abstract

Flexible work arrangements (FWAs) have gained increasing attention in contemporary organizations as a strategy to enhance employee-related outcomes in dynamic work environments. This study aims to synthesize empirical evidence on the relationship between flexible work arrangements and employee outcomes through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by the PRISMA framework. A structured literature search initially identified 200 records, of which 117 peer-reviewed journal articles were retained after excluding non-journal publications. Following full-text screening and eligibility assessment, 45 empirical studies were included in the final analysis. The review reveals that flexible work arrangements are generally associated with positive employee outcomes, particularly job satisfaction, employee well-being, work–life balance, engagement, and performance, although the strength and direction of these relationships vary across organizational contexts and implementation practices. The findings highlight key research trends and methodological gaps, offering valuable insights for future research and practical implications for organizations seeking to effectively implement flexible work arrangements.A
