Abstract

This study aims to analyze the institutional quality of Bank DKI Syariah Semarang in terms of human resources aspects. In banking institutions, institutional quality is one of the determinants of institutional success and it is important for Human Resource Management to understand institutional quality in Bank DKI Syariah Semarang. This study uses qualitative methods by focusing research descriptive approach, the data obtained through in-depth interviews with three employees of Human Resource Management and literature studies and observation. Sampling technique in this study using probability sampling technique with purposive sampling. The data collected were analyzed using data analysis techniques consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results revealed that institutional quality can be assessed based on employee qualifications and education, work experience, training and development, performance and productivity, employee satisfaction and involvement; factors that affect institutional quality include several factors including: recruitment and employee satisfaction levels; strategies that can improve institutional quality solving challenges and problems include several strategies that can be applied, among others: employee training, career development, performance appraisal system, promotion and advertising, workshops and socialization; employee performance contributing to institutional quality includes several ways, among others: positive work communication, positive work culture, quality customer service, compliance with regulations, application of Sharia values; as well as the implementation of policies to contribute to quality can be known to include several things, among others: technology policy, digitization innovation, and product development

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of soft skills and hard skills as independent variables on work readiness, with work motivation serving as a mediating variable. The research was conducted on students of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at PGRI Semarang University from the 2023 cohort, which consisted of 315 individuals. A saturated sampling technique was used, meaning all 315 students were included in the study to ensure comprehensive and representative data. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire designed to measure the relationships between the variables of interest. The analytical method applied was the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using the Smart PLS 3.2.9 software to examine both direct and indirect relationships among the variables. This study aimed to provide a deeper understanding of how the development of both soft and hard skills impacts students’ readiness for entering the workforce and how work motivation plays a pivotal role in mediating these effects. The findings are anticipated to provide valuable insights for educational institutions, particularly in developing curriculum strategies that emphasize a balance between technical competencies and interpersonal abilities. Additionally, the study offers practical implications for creating targeted interventions and training programs to enhance students' motivation and readiness for employment. By identifying the key factors that influence work readiness, this research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on employability skills and provides actionable recommendations to better prepare students for their transition into professional environments.

Abstract

Financial problems are not only caused by low income, but financial difficulties can also arise if there are errors in financial management such as incorrect use of credit, and lack of financial planning. Therefore, financial literacy is needed for someone in managing their financial resources to be able to adjust to income and lifestyle in the modern era like today. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of financial literacy, financial technology, financial risk, financial attitudes and financial income on financial management (study on the community of Kertasari Village, Banjarharjo District, Brebes Regency). This study uses a survey approach for its quantitative research design. The population used is the community in Kertasari Village with a population of 994 heads of families, having personal income, and being the head of the family. In determining the sample, the author uses the Slovin formula so that the number of samples obtained is 100 samples. The data analysis methods used are instrument testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression testing, and hypothesis testing. The data obtained in this study were then processed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 23 program. The results of the study show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial management, financial technology has no effect on financial management, financial risk has a positive and significant effect on financial management, financial attitudes have a positive and significant effect on financial management, and financial income has a positive effect on financial management.

Abstract

Disiplin kerja merupakan keadaan ideal untuk mendukung terlaksananya tugas untuk mendukung kerja secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan komitmen organisasi terhadap disiplin kerja dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada PT King Food Bekasi. Model penelitian yaitu explanatory research, teknik pengumpulan data adalah kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 109 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling, skala pengukuran menggunakan skala likert. Analisis kuantitatif menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja, gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja, komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja. Saran penelitian ini adalah bagi Perusahaan  harus  memperhatikan  kepuasan  kerja  karyawan  terutama  gaji pokok  dan  sikap  atasan, agar  dapat  memberikan  pengaruh  yang  optimal dalam meningkatkan mutu dan kualitas maupun disiplin kerja karyawan.

Abstract

Proses pengeringan tahap finishing pada produk kerajinan eceng gondok di UMKM Iboni Craft di Desa Rowoboni, Kecamatan Banyubiru, Kabupaten Semarang saat ini masih dilakukan secara manual. Hal tersebut memerlukan pengawasan yang intensif dan sering terkendala cuaca yang menyebabkan produk lembab dan berjamur sehingga menurunkan kualitasnya. Oleh karena itu diperlukan solusi yang efektif untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut berupa alat pengering elektrik. Alat pengering otomatis bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi proses pengeringan.  Kegiatan dimulai dengan identifikasi masalah melalui wawancara dan observasi, dilanjutkan analisis kebutuhan dan desain alat. Selanjutnya, dilakukan instalasi serta pengujian kinerja alat untuk memastikan efektivitasnya. Pada tahap ini juga diberikan pelatihan kepada mitra terkait petunjuk penggunaan dan keamanan alat. Hasilnya alat pengering berhasil mengurangi waktu pengeringan yang tersedia dan tidak terhambat cuaca. Produk yang dihasilkan memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik dengan kelembaban rendah dan bebas jamur. Pemilik UMKM memberikan respon positif terhadap alat ini, yang dinilai sangat membantu meningkatkan efisiensi produksi dan menjaga kualitas produk. Kesimpulanya alat pengering terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi waktu dan kualitas produksi  UMKM Iboni Craft.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Education and Training (Diklat) and discipline on employee performance, with career development as an intervening variable studied at BKPP Semarang City. Performance includes more than just the achievement of set standards, but also involves the ability possessed by each individual or group to exceed expectations and contribute directly to the achievement of organizational goals. Good performance is reflected in observable and measurable attitudes, which reflect the effectiveness of individuals in carrying out their duties, both in meeting specified standards and exceeding organizational demands in an efficient and effective manner. This research method uses quantitative research. The population used is all civil servants who work at the Semarang City Personnel, Education and Training Agency (BKPP), totaling 64 people. Data collection techniques are using questionnaires and literature studies. This study uses data analysis techniques with structural equation modeling (SEM) methods through SmartPLS 4 software. The results showed that the existence of Education and Training (Diklat) had no direct effect on employee performance at BKPP Semarang City. Education and Training (Diklat) has a significant effect on career development. Discipline has a positive influence on employee performance. Discipline does not have a significant influence on career development. Career development has a positive effect on employee performance. Education and Training (Diklat) affects employee performance through career development. Discipline has no effect on employee performance through career development.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing how much influence training and career development has on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with a population of 114 employees, a sample of 89 respondents using simple random sampling techniques. The data analysis technique uses the partial Least Square (PLS) model with SmarthPLS version 3 software. The results of this research show that: 1) training has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at PT Nasmoco Kaligawe. 2) career development has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at PT Nasmoco Kaligawe. 3) training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Nasmoco Kaligawe Semarang. 4) career development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Nasmoco Kaligawe Semarang. 5) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Nasmoco Kaligawe Semarang. 6) job satisfaction mediates the effect of training on employee performance at PT Nasmoco Kaligawe Semarang. 7) job satisfaction mediates the influence of career development on employee performance at PT.Nasmoco Kaligawe Semarang.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the influence of various factors in digital marketing on consumer purchases on the TikTok Shop platform. This study specifically aims to assess the impact of content marketing and online customer reviews on purchasing decisions with customer trust as an intervening variable on TikTok Shop customer in Pati. This study uses a quantitative method. The population studied was TikTok Shop consumers in the Pati area, with an unknown number. A total of 97 respondents were sampled through a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling approach. Data analysis was carried out using SmartPls 3 software. The results of the study showed that content marketing had an influence on purchasing decisions, while online customer reviews did not have a significant influence. In addition, content marketing and online customer reviews had an effect on purchasing decisions. However, customer trust was not proven to influence purchasing decisions. Content marketing and online customer reviews also had no influence on purchasing decisions through customer trust as an intervening variable on TikTok Shop customer in Pati.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and work motivation on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable on PT. Mitra Pengusaha Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative research method. The population used in the study were employees of PT. Mitra Pengusaha Indonesia in 2024 and the sample used was 100 employees with a simple random sampling technique. The sampling technique used probability techniques. Data analysis using SmartPLS. The results of this study indicate that there is a negative and significant effect between Compensation (X1) on Job Satisfaction (Z). Work Motivation (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction (Z). The results of this study highlight the importance of motivation in employees of PT. Mitra Pengusaha Indonesia. So thus motivation plays a very important role in employee performance, on the other hand compensation does not affect performance. Compensation requires a more strategic approach in order to have a significant impact. Companies can provide compensation to employees transparently and adjusted to the workload borne by so that it becomes effective as part of a strategy to increase employee job satisfaction at PT. Mitra Pengusaha Indonesia.

Abstract

Optimizing international marketing strategies is a significant challenge faced by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), including Batik Giriloyo business actors in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta, in an effort to expand global market penetration. Various obstacles such as limited access to international markets, minimal use of digital technology for marketing, and weak cross-country cooperation networks are the main obstacles in business expansion. To overcome these problems, an empowerment program has been implemented which includes creating an e-commerce account through the Shopify platform and holding an international webinar entitled "Penetrating the Global Market: Batik Giriloyo's Successful Strategy in the International Arena" as a means of increasing promotion and global business networks. The program implementation method includes intensive training in the use of digital technology, global marketing strategies, and cross-cultural communication, which significantly increases brand visibility and forms partnerships with international resellers. The results of the activity show that the integration of digital technology in a marketing strategy based on local cultural values ​​is able to provide strong competitive differentiation for MSMEs, especially in the context of preserving the cultural heritage of batik as the identity of a superior product. As a form of follow-up, it is recommended to strengthen digital training, increase strategic collaboration with international partners, and develop marketing strategies that highlight local wisdom values, in line with the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the aspect of community service.
