Abstract

The purposes of this study are: 1) To find out whether there are spelling mistakes in Detikcom and Kompas.com online newspapers. 2) To find out what types of spelling mistakes are often found in Detikcom and Kompas.com online newspapers. 3) To compare which online newspaper has fewer spelling mistakes. This research uses the descriptive qualitative method with document analysis instruments and simak-catat technique. It can be concluded that: 1) There were 60 spelling mistakes in 40 news headlines from Detikcom and 37 spelling mistakes in 40 news headlines from Kompas.com. 2) Italicization mistakes are often found in Detikcom with as many as 45 mistakes, while word writing mistakes are often found in Kompas.com with as many as 17 mistakes. 3) Kompas.com has fewer spelling mistakes than Detikcom in the March-April 2023 edition.

Abstract

This study is entitled News Value Analysis in Educational News on Kompas.com. News value becomes a reference to determine whether a news story will be selected, prioritized, and reported by journalists. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing what news values are contained in educational news on Kompas.com, the dominant news values in educational news on Kompas.com, and the purpose of using news values in educational news. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data in this study are all words, phrases, and sentences contained in the Kompas website which is a type of educational news. The data source in this research is obtained by document study by analyzing the news value and entering the data into the analysis table. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that in Kompas.com educational news, 7 news values are obtained from 10 news values. The 7 news values, namely importance, actuality, impact, proximity, human interest, prominence and currentity have been applied well. News values that are news values are impact, proximity, and currentity. The use of news values in educational news is useful to increase the educational value of information.

Abstract

Accuracy is the core of journalistic activities, which is an important standard to determine the quality of news. Objectives, this study aims to describe the accuracy of reporting criticism of damaged roads in Lampung province which is disseminated through the @Liputan6 social media account. Method, this research applies descriptive quantitative with a document analysis approach. The object of this research is 20 news samples collected regarding the reporting of viral criticism of damaged roads in Lampung Province through @liputan6 social media with the vulnerable time of April 7, 2023, to May 8, 2023, which is measured using the four-category guidelines resulting from the combination and reduction of variable operationalization from Mitchell V. Charnley and Christiany Judith. Charnley and Christiany Juditha, namely the suitability of news sources, typograms, suitability of photos with news content, and suitability of titles, spelling, grammar, and meaning in news content. Results: The study showed that the level of accuracy of the news coverage of viral criticism of damaged roads in Lampung Province through @liputan6 social media fell into the highly accurate category with a percentage of 99.09%. Categories that experienced inaccuracies were the category that had scattered errors, namely in the suitability of photos indicated in one news with a percentage (98.5%), then spelling indicated in five news with a percentage (25%), and errors in grammar indicated in one news with a percentage (5%).

Abstract

As a condition that occurs continuously in the course of life, the trading system has evolved in such a way that it has reached the digital trading system practiced by today's society. Over time, advertising in digital media is considered more effective than mainstream media such as television advertisements. Supported by statistical data collection techniques that make it easier for the audience to detect and display social media ads, or can directly target potential buyers who have conducted similar searches in the past. However, several facts still show that TV advertising is still the top choice by brands and has the highest percentage of ad spending compared to other advertisements. This quantitative study took primary data through questionnaires and the results of the data were processed using SPSS 25 to test the effectiveness of TV advertising with non-parametric tests and ANOVA tests.

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul Penggunaan Bahasa Jurnalistik dalam Pembertitaan Pada Akun Instagram dan Portal Lambe Turah bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan pentingnya penggunaan bahasa jurnalistik dalam sebuah berita agar berita yang diberikan dapat diterima dengan baik oleh masyarakat dengan ukuran intelektual yang berbeda-beda, sehingga semua masyarakat dapat mengerti pokok berita tanpa adanya perspektif yang berlawanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan dokumen analisis dengan menganalisis penggunaan bahasa pada berita yang terdapat pada Intagram dan portal berita lambe turah dan dikaitan dan dianalisis dengan teori yang membahas penggunaan bahasa jurnalistik seperti ciri utama bahasa jurnalistik, aturan penulisan, aturan penggunaan tanda baca, aturan pemilihan kata, aturan penulisan kalimat, paragraf, dan sebuah berita harus memuat fakta yang didalamnya terkandung unsur 5W+1H. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah pada penggunaan bahasa jurnalistik pada lambe turah sudah hampir sesuai dengan unsur yang memuat fakta 5W+1H, mengikuti ciri utama bahasa jurnalistik dan aturan penulisan, aturan penggunaan tanda baca, aturan pemilihan kata, aturan penulisan kalimat, paragraf dan sebagainya

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of Google Meet on Journalistic Student Learning Media at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The object of this research is Journalism student period 2022. The method used in this study is qualitative. Data collection techniques in this study were collected through surveys, namely using google form media. The data collection technique was carried out by asking several questions several journalism students for the 2022 period, related to the role of Google Meet in the learning media for Journalism students of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Furthermore, the data that has been obtained will be discussed to determine the results of the study. The research data shows that the Google Meet application can facilitate students in the learning process, Google Meet can foster learning motivation for students, and students can repeat the material given, with the record feature in the Google Meet application. Google Meet can increase self-confidence because everyone can increase self-confidence, everyone can practice their public speaking as technology develops, and learning to be confident becomes easier because there is already an intermediary media to ask questions and give opinions.

Abstract

The purpose of carrying out this activity is as a form of Sanggar Juara’s concern for children's character education and to provide education in a more exciting way to children. In addition, the benefits of this activity for children apart from understanding character education, children can have more fun and play with their friends. The purpose of writing this article is to introduce the Sanggar Juara Organization to readers. The method used to achieve this goal is to use fun teaching methods by playing games, telling stories, and learning about practice directly. In conclusion, the champion school succeeded in carrying out community service activities for approximately five months and made the children at RPTRA Pinang Indah and RPTRA Mawar learn about character education.

Abstract

− Abstract This study discusses the effect of Tokoppedia's E-Commerce Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction in the 1st semester of Accounting undergraduate students at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University. This study has a problem formulation of whether service quality affects Tokopedia customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence between service quality on customer satisfaction. This study uses quantitative methods with 2 variables, namely variable (x) Service Quality and variable (Y) Customer Satisfaction. The non-probability sampling technique used in this research sample is quota sampling. To analyze or process data using the latest version of SPSS 25. The methods used are validity analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, normality analysis, and simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that all data are valid, reliable, and normally distributed. Service quality has a positive and significant effect on all indicators of variable X and variable Y. And there is an influence between service quality and customer satisfaction of 71.1%.

Abstract

The development of Communication Technology is a special issue that cannot be resolved. This has implications for changes in human behavior when interacting. One group that is very vulnerable to the development of communication technology is the student group. The purpose of this study is to better understand the role of social media as a source of academic news for students of the Journalism Study Program at Syarif Hidayatullah Islamic State University, Jakarta. This research uses a qualitative methodology and data collection methods using in-depth interviews with eight students. According to this study, informants use 5 to 10 hours every day to access the internet, There are two specific apps that are used in this scenario: Instagram and WhatsApp. Currently, social media is the main source used by departments to find academic information compared to going directly to the dean's, rector's office, or other locations.

Abstract

Social Assistance FDIKOM is a work program of DEMA FDIKOM which is an annual program. The 2022 FDIKOM Social Assistance Program will be held in Pemulung Village, Bintaro. The FDIKOM Social Assistance Program in 2022 is quite unique, because all of the actors or the implementing committee of the FDIKOM Social Assistance Program are new students (semester 1 students). FDIKOM Social Assistance has an interesting theme, namely, “SOLIDATE TOGETHER, BUILD BROTHERS, CREATE HAPPY”. The theme which contains the meaning of brotherhood among others is very related to the 2022 FDIKOM Social Assistance. FDIKOM Social Assistance is implemented to implement the Tri Dharma points of Higher Education, namely, Research, Education, and Community Service. Social assistance FDIKOM 2022 focuses on the third Tri Dharma point, namely Community Service. The purpose of implementing the 2022 FDIKOM Social Assistance Program is to increase our sense of concern among fellow human beings and also to help our brothers and sisters in Pemulung Village, either by providing basic food items, health checks and educational materials to local residents.
