Abstract

The journalistic code of ethics is a set of rules that must be applied by journalists and journalists as well as a guide on how to write good and correct news. According to researchers, there are still many violations of the journalistic code of ethics committed by journalists. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, namely analyzing documents broadly and thoroughly. Based on the research conducted, there are 20 articles that violate the code of ethics article 4 regarding sadistic acts. This case is found in murder cases, for example, like the words "slitting, mutilating, slashing, and whipping". This study aims to determine errors in the journalistic code of ethics in online media, especially on the Detik Sulsel online media portal. Researchers have conducted research on 20 news articles on murder cases in online media Detik Sulsel for the period August, September, October. The results of this study are that there are still violations of the journalistic code of ethics article 4 which causes errors in writing the news chronology of the murder case which is considered too sadistic.

Abstract

The discussion raised in this study relates to the use of the figure of speech in the opinion rubric of the detik.com online newspaper. The form of the research analyzed is the use of affirmation figures of speech in the detik.com mass media. Sources of data obtained through the mass media detik.com were analyzed starting from October 2022, and the news was taken randomly every week. Data collection techniques used are analysis, observation, and documents. The results of the study were read, recorded, and explained by the use of figures of speech written in the news. The purpose of this analysis is to be able to find out what figure of speech is used in the detik.com mass media. The type of research conducted is qualitative research. The results of the study concluded that there were four types of figures of speech that the researchers found on detik.com. Among them, the repetition figurehead is found in two stories, pleonasm in one story, and anticlimactic in one news.

Abstract

This article is a research article related to the application of a journalistic code of ethics to sexual violence news sources at "Liputan6.com." The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of reporting on Liputan6.com and to determine the application of the Journalism Professional Code of Ethics on the online media news portal Liputan6.com. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, where this method emphasizes the application of writing online news on the Liputan6.com port. This study concludes that Liputan6.com has implemented a code of ethics for the journalistic profession and has displayed news of sexual violence correctly by the press council's professional code of ethics.

Abstract

This study is entitled The Effect of Online Loan Application Advertisements for Borrowing Families in Cinere District (Descriptive Study of the Effects of Journalism in the form of Online Loan Application Advertisements). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of online loan advertisements on social media for borrowing families in the Cinere District. This study uses a descriptive method aimed at describing and analyzing so that the situation that becomes the research theme can be explained clearly. The population in this study is a family of researchers who have experience in making online loans. For the sampling of this research, the chosen technique is Non-Probability Sampling, a type of Purposive Sampling. Respondents are selected as members of the sample based on the researcher's considerations. In this study, the samples taken were three family members of each researcher who had experience doing online loans. The results showed that the influence of online loan advertisements appearing on social media succeeded in influencing informants to make loans. Both informants felt that online loan advertisements that often appeared on social media encouraged them to take loans. While one other informant felt that the influence of online loan advertisements on social media was less effective for elderly families due to limited knowledge about technology (technological gaps) so they preferred to borrow from banks or friends of the informants.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the special buyer's interest in journalism students in reading the submitted advertisements.This research uses qualitative research to facilitate data collection to be analyzed. This research into the attractiveness of shopee advertising will result in detailed research and knowledge based on an attempt to build a view that is formed from a complex big picture. From the results of the study and the results of the discussion of this study, it can be concluded that the 2022 journalism students agree with the attractiveness of shopee advertisements attracting buying interest. Because the ads that are delivered are clear, creative, and have audio that can make people who watch the ad that runs until it runs out. From the ad impressions that were delivered, they received a positive response, making the audience watch until the end.

Abstract

The internet, which is a new medium, is a sign of a new period, namely the existence of interactive technology and network communication, especially in cyberspace, which will change society (Littlejohn & Foss, 2014). With the internet, information is becoming easier to spread and get anytime and anywhere. One of the new mediums is Instagram. Instagram is a social media platform that is used to send information to the public quickly. One of the things uploaded on Instagram is information about the latest news on the @folkative account. This study aims to determine whether the @folkative Instagram account is effective as a means of information for the younger generation. The method used in this study is a qualitative one with data sources from questionnaires. The conclusion from the research results obtained is that the use of social media like Instagram as a means of information for the younger generation has been effective.

Abstract

Creative advertisements are advertisements that are considered original or not imitating others, advertisements that are astonishing, unexpected, meaningful and affect emotions. Creative advertising makes the audience pay attention to the advertisement in detail and detail. This article focuses on the effect of creative advertising on housewives in reading the news. This study uses a qualitative method with a questionnaire approach. Abstract

Demam Korea (Korean wave) saat ini telah memasuki negeri Indonesia. Hal itu diakibatkan penyebaran dan pengaruh budaya Korea di Indonesia terutama dari Drama Korea yang muncul di tahun 2002 yang banyak digemari oleh remaja. Dari menonton drama korea, penonton banyak mengetahui tentang budaya ataupun trend fashion di negara tersebut. Selain itu, menonton drama ini pun cukup menyita waktu karena pasalnya drama ini rata-rata memiliki 14 sampai 16 episode di setiap judulnya sehingga dapat mengakibatkan kelalaian terhadap aktivitas lainnya.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara tanggung jawab sebagai mahasiswa dengan intensitas tinggi menonton drama Korea. Objek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa tiap semester di universitas Islam negeri Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner. Penilaian penelitian ini terbagi menjadi 4 kategori yaitu, sangat tidak setuju, tidak setuju, setuju, sangat setuju. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara tanggung jawab sebagai mahasiswa dengan intensitas tinggi menonton drama Korea.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about individual strategies for students with special needs during the pandemic. The subject of this research is an active teacher who teaches children with special needs. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with interview analysis techniques via WhatsApp. This research is motivated by the pandemic phenomenon that has lasted for 2 years and has not ended, so teaching and learning activities are not conducive, especially for people with disabilities who need special strategies in learning, one of which is individual strategies. Therefore, researchers are interested in knowing more about how effective individual strategies for children with special needs are during the pandemic. The results showed that there were three sub-focuses: first, PPI planning for ABK, second, PPI implementation, and third, Evaluation. Individual strategies for children with special needs (ABK) are carried out with the support of the IEP (Individual Education Program). Individual strategies during the pandemic can be considered effective because, during class learning, children seem more focused (for some situations) because there are no distractions from friends around them.

Abstract

Writing is one of the journalistic skills that have a great influence on students so they are expected to disseminate information and even express feelings to the public through written language. Journalistic media for schools is a means of information about schools, education, entertainment, and persuasion. So, with journalism training, someone will be helped in honing creativity and talent. This study aims to observe the development of journalistic insights of students through journalistic training and provide solutions to the problem of lack of journalistic insights by motivating MAN 2 Tangerang students, especially members of the Broadcasting Extracurricular Lensa Manduta to be skilled in the field of writing. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques and observations that researchers use include observation by observing and recording activities carried out by the journalistic division of Lensa Manduta and interviews with the head of the journalistic division and the general chairman of Lensa Manduta. The results of this study are that the journalistic training was opened interactively, the members listened to the material presented, and were quite responsive in practice to the field. In addition, they are quite familiar with the terms in journalism, such as journals, and codes of ethics, as well as a very good understanding of news, it's just that they don't know the whole, such as the types of news consisting of hard news, soft news, and straight news.
