Abstract

This research aims the process of implementing HR management improves the quality of educational services at SDIT Ash-Shiddiiqi. This research uses a qualitative approach method. The data collection technique used to obtain valid data is through observation, interviews and documentation taken directly from informants, namely the principal and teachers of SDIT Ash-Shiddiiqi. The data analysis techniques used are through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this research are that the implementation of management in improving the quality of education is going well and is quite adequate, the implementation of HR management goes through several stages : carrying out an effective human resource planning process, carry out external recruitment through the education office and internal recruitment and selection for additional staff such as honorary teachers, placing employees according to interests and talents, holding training so that the skills of teachers and employees increase, carrying out performance assessments within one semester, provide appreciation in the form of compensation and bonuses according to position and qualifications, terminate employment relations in accordance with mutual agreement. In conclusion, "implementation of human resource management at SDIT Ash Shiddiiqi, Jambi city has improved the quality of educational services. Abstract

This study aims to provide an understanding of Green Spirituality based on Eco-Spiritual focused on conscious mental revolution environment on education. This research was conducted using the systematic literature review (SLR) method through a qualitative approach, with collecting data from Scopus, Science Direct and Springer. Techniques data analysis used in study was descriptive. The results showed that Eco-spiritual based Green Spirituality that combined spiritual understanding with respect and attention to nature had a connection. It can be seen that Green Spirituality is actually more moderate in its teachings. While the environmental revolution is conscious of education by building spiritual character. Efforts to love the environment must be built and harmonized through real actions starting from society and formal education such as schools and higher education. Implications on study for this guard conscious mental revolution environment that gives vision, inspiration, motivation for environmentalists to construct ethics in the environment education.

Abstract

The role of parents in regulating and supporting adolescents’ emotions is very important because adolescence is a period of emotional vulnerability and significant personal development. Secure attachment is a warm, stable, and trusting emotional bond between parents and children, formed through consistent and responsive interactions from infancy through adolescence. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of secure attachment to parents on the emotional regulation of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 11 Jambi City. The sample in this study consisted of 203 students from a popilation of 411, selected using simple random sampling. Analysis techniques were carried out with the help of SPSS V.27, including normality tests, linearity tests, simple regression tests, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the secure attachment received by eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 11 Jambi City is in the high category, with a percentage of 68,78%, while the emotional regulation of these students is also in the high category, with a percentage of 66,49%. The relationship between parental secure attachment and student emotional regulation is positive and significant, with a determination analysis result of  0,1225 or 12,25% which is categorizes as low but certain.

Abstract

Self-control can direct a person to behave in a positive directionand in accordance with the norms that apply in society. Students who have good self-control will suppress the tendency to carry out negative behavior such as verbal aggression. This verbal aggressive behavior causes problems that can lead to fights and disharmonious relationship between students. This research aims to determine the effect of self-control on students’ verbal aggressive behavior. This research is a quantitative research using ex-post facto method with 50 students as research samples obtained through purposive sampling techniques. Analysis of research data using simple regression analysis techniques via SPSS IBM 25. The research results found that there was an influence of self-control on students’ verbal aggressive behavior at SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi. This result obtained from the Fcount value of 140.995 with Sig. 0.006 < 0.05. The value of R Square is 0.148, meaning that self-control has an influence of 14.8% on the verbal aggressive behavior of students at SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi.

Abstract

Educational reform in keeping up with the times through strengthening the strategic role of formal institutions such as schools and madrasahs. The facilitative strategy focuses on providing access, support, and opportunities that allow educators, students, and all stakeholders to develop their potential optimally. The research was conducted using a literature study approach that examines educational reform strategies, namely facilitative, educational, persuasion and coercion strategies. The four strategies are designed to optimize the process of educational change in accordance with existing social and institutional characteristics. The facilitative strategy focuses on providing facilities and training for educators, the educational strategy focuses on changing attitudes through information, the persuasion strategy uses a communication approach that builds awareness, while the coercion strategy relies on normative policies that are binding. This article concludes that the success of educational reform is largely determined by the suitability of the strategy to the social context and the readiness of all stakeholders to accept change.

Abstract

Pembaruan kurikulum merupakan respons terhadap dinamika globalisasi, perkembangan teknologi, serta kebutuhan akan pendidikan yang lebih holistik dan relevan dengan tuntutan zaman. Pentingnya transformasi kurikulum untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui penguatan aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana materi pembelajaran disesuaikan dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan kebutuhan peserta didik, menelaah kembali rumusan tujuan pendidikan agar selaras dengan tuntutan zaman, serta mengidentifikasi kompetensi yang diharapkan tercapai melalui kurikulum yang diperbarui. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Studi literatur untuk menganalisis teori dan model pembaruan dari berbagai tokoh-tokoh seperti UNESCO, Tony Wagner, Pasi Sahlberg, Linda Darling-Hammond, dan Sugata Mitra. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum masa kini harus menekankan keterampilan abad 21, seperti literasi digital, berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, serta etika dan kewirausahaan. Selain itu, pengembangan afeksi melalui kecerdasan emosional, empati, dan pendidikan karakter menjadi aspek esensial dalam menciptakan siswa yang tidak hanya cerdas secara akademis, tetapi juga memiliki kepekaan sosial dan moral. Dengan demikian, pembaharuan pendidikan menjadi kebutuhan mendesak untuk menyiapkan generasi yang adaptif, berkarakter, dan siap menghadapi dinamika masyarakat global.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the massive challenges facing Islamic education due to social change, globalization, and technological acceleration, which demand systemic reform to remain relevant. The focus of this research is to analyze the urgency and key areas of educational reform in Islamic schools, identifying contemporary challenges driving change, and the underlying foundations. As a crucial step, this research uses a desk study method by reviewing various relevant literature to synthesize a comprehensive picture of the issue. The main findings identify that reform must encompass several crucial areas, namely an integrative curriculum, improving the quality of educators, student management, equitable budgeting, and modernization of facilities and infrastructure. This need is driven by challenges in the political, cultural, scientific, and economic fields, and must be based on theological (the Qur'an and the Sunnah) and juridical (national legislation) foundations. In conclusion, reform of Islamic education is a holistic necessity. In order to be able to produce a competent and characterful generation, Islamic schools must strategically reform the fundamental elements of their education while remaining grounded in Islamic values. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan masif yang dihadapi pendidikan Islam akibat perubahan sosial, globalisasi, dan akselerasi teknologi, yang menuntut adanya pembaharuan sistemis agar tetap relevan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis urgensi dan area kunci pembaharuan pendidikan di sekolah Islam, mengidentifikasi tantangan kontemporer yang mendorong perubahan, serta landasan yang mendasarinya. Sebagai langkah penting, penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan menelaah berbagai literatur relevan untuk mensintesiskan gambaran komprehensif mengenai isu tersebut. Temuan utama mengidentifikasi bahwa pembaharuan harus mencakup beberapa area krusial, yaitu kurikulum yang integratif, peningkatan kualitas pendidik, manajemen peserta didik, penganggaran yang adil, serta modernisasi sarana dan prasarana. Kebutuhan ini didorong oleh tantangan di bidang politik, budaya, IPTEK, dan ekonomi, serta harus berlandaskan pada fondasi teologis (Al-Qur'an dan As-Sunnah) dan yuridis (perundang-undangan nasional). Kesimpulannya, pembaharuan pendidikan Islam adalah sebuah keniscayaan yang bersifat holistik. Agar mampu menghasilkan generasi yang kompeten dan berkarakter, sekolah Islam harus secara strategis mereformasi elemen-elemen fundamental pendidikannya dengan tetap berpijak pada nilai-nilai keislaman.

Abstract

The implementation of this service activity aims to improve the understanding and ability of teachers at SMAN 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat in implementing strategies for developing student interests and talents. Using lecture methods, simulations, individual and group presentations with the duration of activities for one month according to the schedule. This activity involved 6 teachers and 20 students as participants. The result of this community service activity is that the participants have the understanding and ability to implement strategies for developing student interests and talents. it is suggested to the school, especially to the principal and teachers to be able to follow up this activity on a wider scale, so that the interests and talents of the students can be detected properly and can also be developed to the fullest.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di SMK Negeri 8 Merangin bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen tata naskah dinas (korespondensi dan kearsipan) sesuai dengan Permendikbud Nomor 3 Tahun 2021. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mencakup ketidakefisienan dalam pengelolaan dokumen dan kurangnya pemahaman tentang regulasi yang berlaku. Metode yang digunakan meliputi survei kebutuhan, pelatihan, dan implementasi sistem manajemen dokumen elektronik (EDMS). Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta, serta keberhasilan dalam penerapan EDMS yang meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi. Selain itu, pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran staf mengenai pentingnya kearsipan yang baik, yang berdampak positif pada kepatuhan terhadap regulasi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi institusi pendidikan lain dalam penerapan tata naskah dinas yang efektif dan efisien. Dengan demikian, pengabdian ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kapasitas individu tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi pada peningkatan sistem administrasi pendidikan secara luas. Melalui pelatihan ini, Universitas Jambi berharap dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap kualitas tata kelola administrasi di SMK Negeri 8 Merangin, sekaligus memperkuat peran universitas dalam mendukung pengembangan pendidikan yang berkualitas di Indonesia.
