Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide an overview of the legal vacuum (rechtsvacuum) in the proof of heirs as legitimate heirs of a deceased foreign national. This research is normative juridical research. It uses a normative juridical approach with two methods: statutory and conceptual. The sources of legal materials consist of primary sources (legislation), secondary sources (academic manuscripts, legal journals, books, articles), and tertiary sources (legal dictionaries, KBBI). The literature study method is used to search for legal sources. The analysis of legal materials is conducted using teleological interpretation and the specialization construction technique (rechtsvervijnings). The research results show that granting Property Rights (Hak Milik) for apartment units (Sarusun) to Foreign Citizens (WNA) in Indonesia is not new and has long been practiced as an effort to attract investment and provide facilities for foreign nationals who contribute to national development. However, there is a legal vacuum regarding the creation of Inheritance Certificates (Surat Keterangan Waris - SKW) for foreign heirs, which is important for proving their status as legitimate heirs and conducting legal transactions related to the inheritance. To address this legal vacuum, it is recommended that the creation of SKW for heirs of foreign nationals should be carried out before a Notary. The main reason for choosing a Notary is because they have the authority to create authentic deeds, have a wide reach throughout Indonesia, and are not limited by religious factors in creating SKW. Additionally, deeds made by a Notary have stronger legal force compared to SKW in letter form. Therefore, this arrangement is expected to provide legal certainty for foreign nationals owning Sarusun in Indonesia and their heirs.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that requires proper management, including correct medication use. Early education for vocational high school students is important to build awareness about safe medication use. The purpose of this community service activity was to increase students' knowledge about the safe use of diabetes mellitus medications, including Beyond Use Date (BUD), insulin storage, and traditional herbal medicines. The method used was lectures and discussions with a pre-post test design. Respondents were 32 grade X students from SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Terpadu Pekanbaru. Data were analyzed using paired t-test. Results showed a significant increase in knowledge scores from 73.98±3.13 to 87.04±7.47 (p<0.001) with Cohen's d=1.76. The proportion of students with good knowledge category increased from 3.1% to 81.2%. This education program was highly effective in increasing students' knowledge about the safe use of diabetes mellitus medications.

Abstract

This study examines the role of out-of-class learning through collaborative Field Work Lectures (KKL) between Muhammadiyah University Ponorogo (UMPO) and PGRI University Semarang (UPGRIS) in developing students' academic and soft skills. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through student reflective notes, participatory observation, and documentation during the activities. The results of the study reveal that collaborative KKL creates meaningful learning experiences through direct interaction with the realities in the field. These activities not only deepen academic competence in their respective fields of study, but also significantly hone soft skills. Students showed real progress in communication skills, teamwork, adaptability, and critical reflection. Active involvement in various academic tasks and social interactions during KKL increased self-awareness, discipline, and analytical thinking skills. The systematic reflection process was key in helping students build a bridge between the theory learned in the classroom and the complexity of real-life situations in the field. Thus, the study concluded that learning outside the classroom through the collaborative KKL model is an effective pedagogy. This model successfully combines empirical experience with deep reflection, thereby supporting the holistic development of students' capacities, preparing them not only intellectually but also socially and personally to face challenges in the professional world. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengkaji peran pembelajaran di luar kelas melalui Kuliah Kerja Lapangan (KKL) kolaboratif antara Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo (UMPO) dan Universitas PGRI Semarang (UPGRIS) dalam mengembangkan keterampilan akademik dan sosial  mahasiswa. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui catatan reflektif mahasiswa, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi selama kegiatan. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa KKL kolaboratif menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna melalui interaksi langsung dengan realitas lapangan. Aktivitas ini tidak hanya memperdalam kompetensi akademik sesuai bidang ilmu, tetapi juga secara signifikan mengasah keterampilan sosial . Mahasiswa menunjukkan perkembangan nyata dalam kemampuan komunikasi, kerja sama tim, adaptabilitas, dan refleksi kritis. Keterlibatan aktif dalam berbagai tugas akademik dan interaksi sosial selama KKL meningkatkan kesadaran diri, kedisiplinan, serta kemampuan berpikir analitis. Proses refleksi yang sistematis menjadi kunci dalam membantu mahasiswa membangun jembatan antara teori yang diperoleh di ruang kelas dengan kompleksitas situasi nyata di lapangan. Dengan demikian, penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran di luar kelas melalui model KKL kolaboratif merupakan sebuah pedagogi yang efektif. Model ini berhasil memadukan pengalaman empiris dengan perenungan mendalam, sehingga mampu mendukung pengembangan kapasitas mahasiswa secara holistik, menyiapkan mereka tidak hanya secara intelektual tetapi juga secara sosial dan personal untuk menghadapi tantangan di dunia profesional..
