Abstract

Guru di SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak telah mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran seperti yang dianjurkan oleh Kurikulum 2013 yaitu discovery learning dan problem based learning. Namun, sampai saat ini belum adanya data tentang kemampuan guru dalam merancang kegiatan pembelajaran aktif dengan model pembelajaran, sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yakni mendeskripsikan kemampuan guru dalam merancang kegiatan pembelajaran aktif dengan model discovery learning dan problem based learning, serta mendeskripsikan kesulitan yang dihadapi. Penelitian deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus merupakan metode penelitian yang digunakan, dengan melibatkan 5 orang guru IPA sebagai subjek penelitian. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi telaah RPP dengan model discovery learning dan problem based learning, dan wawancara. Kemampuan guru dalam merancang kegiatan pembelajaran aktif dengan model pembelajaran discovery learning dan probem based learning secara berurutan memperoleh nilai rata-rata 90,12 dan 90,00 yang tergolong baik. Adapun kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh guru yakni mendeskripsikan kegiatan inti dalam tiap tahapan model pembelajaran yang digunakan secara detail

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk e-modul berbasis Problem Based Learning yang layak digunakan, mengetahui respon guru dan peserta didik terhadap produk yang dikembangkan. Metode yang diterapkan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang mengacu pada model ADDIE yang dibatasi sampai tahap development. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu e-modul berbasis Problem Based Learning pada materi zat adiktif yang diujikan kepada 3 orang guru IPA, dan peserta didik kelas VIII D dan VIII E SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya. Subjek uji coba kelompok kecil dan besar masing-masing terdiri dari 6 dan 24 peserta didik. Lembar penilaian kelayakan, angket respon guru, dan angket respon peserta didik digunakan sebagai alat pengumpul data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase kelayakan materi, kegrafikan, dan kebahasaan secara berturut-turut adalah 93,8%, 98,9%, dan 96,4%. Hasil uji coba respon guru dinyatakan bahwa e-modul sangat baik dengan persentase 93,2%. Perhitungan persentase angket respon peserta didik sebesar 84,2% yang dinyatakan sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, e-modul berbasis Problem Based Learning pada materi zat adiktif yang dikembangkan sangat layak dan mendapat respon sangat baik dari guru dan peserta didik.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to see how learning results differ before and after using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, as well as to see how the PBL learning model affects the electrochemistry material in class XII IPA SMA N 11 Pontianak. The form of research used with a research sample of 35 persons was pre-experimental using a one-group pretest-posttest design. Pre-test and post-test data collecting methods were used. The normality test with the Shapiro-Wilk test was employed in the data analysis technique, and the results of the pre-test and post-test revealed that the data were not normally distributed, with Asymp.Sig.(2-tailed) less than 0.05. The Asymp.Sig.(2-tailed) value of the Wilcoxon test was less than 0.05. These findings suggest that there are changes in learning outcomes before and after using a PBL learning paradigm as a treatment. The pre-test and post-test mean scores were 53.71 and 84.57, respectively. An increasing in learning outcomes in electrochemical material is obtained by obtaining an effect size calculation value of 1.6, or the equivalent of 33% of the contribution of the PBL model.Based on the result of the pre-test & post-test there are difference in learning outcomes before and after using the PBL.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the E-Module of Natural Materials Chemistry based on a flipbook application with the material for Separation of Phenolic Compounds from the Simpur Air (Dillenia suffruticosa) Fraction  using a preparative Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) technique. The research method used is a research and development method by applying the ADDIE model. The subject of this research is the E-module for Separation of Phenolic Compounds from the Simpur Air (D. Suffruticosa) Fraction using Preparative Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC). The research instrument used was assessment and data analysis using a Likert scale. The data collection technique used is an indirect communication technique by giving a questionnaire. The feasibility of the E-module was assessed by two material experts, three media experts, and two linguists. The final results are seen in the material aspect which is obtained 100%, the media aspect is obtained 100%, and the language aspect is obtained 100%. Thus, it can be locked that the E-Module of Natural Materials Chemistry based on a flipbook application with the material for Separation of Phenolic Compounds from the Simpur Air (D. suffruticosa) Fraction Using a preparative Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) technique is very feasible.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility and response of teachers to project-based learning (PjbL) student work performance (LKPD) on mixed separation material. This research is research and development or R & D (research and development). The development model used is model ADDIE which is adapted into 3 stages, namely analysis (analyze), design (d esign), and development (development). The subject of this study is project-based learning (PjbL) based student work (LKPD). The test subjects in this study involved 6 science teachers, 3 MTSN 1 Tanah Pinoh science teachers, 2 science teachers from SMP IT Imam Syafi'i and 1 science teacher from SMPN 4 Tanah Pinoh. Data collection techniques are carried out through measurement techniques and indirect communication techniques, with assessment instruments, validation questionnaires and response test questionnaires. The feasibility of PJBL-based LKPD is assessed in material, media and language aspects carried out by three experts in each field. Material eligibility was obtained on average 94.7% with the "Very Worthy" criterion, media eligibility (graphicing) obtained an average of 96.4% with the criteria of" Very Worthy", and language eligibility obtained on average 97.9% with the criterion "Very Worthy". Furthermore, the results of the teacher's response to project-based learning (P jBL) LKPD were obtained 90.4% with the "Very Good" criterion. according to the results of the project-based learning (P jBL) Student Worksheet (LKPD) research on mixed separation material is feasible and can be used as teaching materials to support the science learning process, especially in mixed separation materials.

Abstract

Peningkatan pemahaman konseptual materi asam basa di masa pandemi Covid-19 perlu dilakukan melalui pembelajaran daring yang berpusat pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap konsep Asam Basa yang diajarkan secara daring dengan model siklus belajar 5E. pada materi Asam Basa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental, dengan menggunakan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Kimia Universitas Tanjungpura, dimana kelas A1 dipilih sebagai sampel dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data melalui pengukuran menggunakan instrumen tes hasil belajar dan teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa pada kategori rendah sebesar 3,45%, kategori sedang sebesar 65,52%, dan kategori tinggi sebesar 31,03%. Abstract

This research is about a documentary film of water pollution that can improve student learning outcomes with contextual learning involving the dual senses, namely the sense of hearing and the sense of sight. This study aims to determine the feasibility of water pollution documentary film media to support science learning in junior high schools. This research is based on observations and interviews of teachers and students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model the stages used are analysis, design and development. The subject in the study was a documentary film of water pollution. Data collection techniques in this study used direct communication during interviews with teachers and students as well as indirect communication in the form of instrument feasibility assessment sheets, media feasibility validation questionnaires consisting of 3 media experts and 3 material experts. This study shows that the validation results carried out obtained a percentage for the media aspect of 91.63 and the material aspect of 86.13 from this percentage result, it can be concluded that the media is suitable for use at the implementation stage.

Abstract

This research to produce electronic student worksheets (E-LKPD) based on a scientific approach to the nomenclature sub-matter of polyatomic compounds that are feasible to use. This research is a development research using a 4-D model from Thiagaradjan. The data collection technique used is an indirect communication technique with a data collection tool, namely the feasibility evaluation sheet. The feasibility of the E-LKPD is seen from three aspects, namely material, language and graphics. Each aspect is assessed by each of the three experts. The results showed that the E-LKPD based on a scientific approach to the nomenclature sub-matter of polyatomic compounds was very suitable to be used as teaching material to support the learning of polyatomic compound nomenclature material with a score percentage on content and presentation aspects of 93.3% and 95.8%, language 93.3%, and 90.2% graphics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to measure the validity and response of teachers to the developed Local Wisdom-Based Student Worksheets. The form of this research is development (R&D) with reference to the ADDIE development model which consists of analysis, design and development. The subject of this study was Student Worksheets Based on Local Wisdom which was piloted on three junior high school science teachers. The data collection instruments used were material validity questionnaires, language and graphics as well as teacher response questionnaires with data collection techniques in the form of indirect communication. Data analysis uses product validity criteria. The results of the data analysis showed that the Student Worksheets Based on Local Wisdom on Material Additives obtained valid criteria with an average material validity of 98.6%, language validity of 97.9% and material validity of 98.6% and based on the results of the teacher's response questionnaire to the Local Wisdom-Based Student Worksheet on Additive Materials received a good response with a percentage result of 90%. Therefore, the validity assessment and teacher response tests show that the Local Wisdom-Based Student Worksheet on Additive Material is valid for use by teachers and students in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility and teacher's response to the chemistry module based on discovery learning on buffer solution material. This research method is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model. However, in this study the researchers only limited it to AAD (analysis, design, development). Discovery learning based chemistry module on buffer solution material is the subject of this research. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques, direct and indirect communication techniques. The results of the feasibility test showed that the chemistry module based on discovery learning which was developed obtained a percentage of 93% from the content aspect, 98% from the presentation aspect, 91% from the language aspect, and 86% from the graphic aspect. Based on these results it can be concluded that the chemistry module based on discovery learning on buffer solution material is suitable for use in chemistry learning with an average feasibility of 93% and a teacher response of 97%. These results indicate that the chemistry module based on discovery learning on buffer solution material can be used for chemistry learning in schools.
