Abstract

Abstract

The oil extracted from Pangasius micronemus, commonly known as patin fish, is highly regarded for its omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids content, which offer numerous health benefits. Producing high-quality patin fish oil (PFO) rich in these essential fatty acids requires an optimized extraction process. This study utilized ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) combined with response surface methodology – Box Behnken Design (RSM-BBD) to optimize the extraction of PFO. Five variables were examined: temperature (30–60 °C), solvent composition (n-hexane in isopropanol, 30–90%), amplitude (30–90%), solvent-to-sample ratio (10:1–20:1), and cycle duration (0.2–0.8 s−1). The analysis identified solvent composition, amplitude, and solvent-to-sample ratio as significant factors influencing the response value (p < 0.005). Optimal UAE conditions were achieved at a temperature of 59 °C, solvent composition of 42%, amplitude of 41%, solvent-to-sample ratio of 20:1, cycle duration of 0.8 s−1, and an extraction time of 25 min. Fatty acid profiling revealed that PFO extracted using UAE contained omega-3 fatty acids, including α-linolenic acid (ALA) at 1.36% and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) at 0.46%, as well as omega-6 fatty acids, namely linoleic acid (LA) at 19.06% and arachidonic acid (AA) at 0.85%. These results demonstrate the efficiency of UAE in extracting high-quality PFO.

Abstract

The Real Work Lecture (KKN) program is a form of community service that aims to integrate students' academic abilities with real needs in the field. This activity was carried out by STEBIS Bina Mandiri students in May 2025 in Tlajung Udik Village, with a focus on empowering Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) called Dapur Syafar which is engaged in home culinary. The main problems identified include the absence of halal certification, unattractive product packaging, and lack of digital literacy in marketing. The implementation method uses participatory research with a descriptive quantitative approach. One of the main interventions is the analysis of the Cost of Goods Produced (COGS) of packaged chili sauce, which includes raw material costs, direct labor, and overhead costs. The calculation results showed that the COGS per bottle was Rp. 20,000 with a selling price of Rp. 25,000, providing a 25% profit margin. In addition, a new logo, packaging, halal certification, and TikTok Shop account activation as an online marketing medium were carried out. The results showed significant improvements in product appearance, sales turnover, and business involvement in digitalization. Thus, this KKN program established an adaptive, collaborative, and sustainable MSME mentoring model.

Abstract

This study examines Spain’s gender-responsive migration policy as a foreign policy tool between 2020 and 2024, with a focus on the Mediterranean region. Using qualitative methods, VOS viewer analysis, and the frameworks of foreign policy analysis, image theory, and soft power, the research analyses how Spain embeds feminist and human rights values into migration governance to enhance its international image and normative legitimacy. Findings show that Spain increasingly employs migration policy not only to regulate cross-border mobility but also to project itself as a democratic and progressive actor, thereby strengthening its soft power and role as a normative leader in Global North-South relations. Nonetheless, the study identifies a gap between symbolic commitments and practical implementation, hindered by institutional fragmentation, weak gender-sensitive infrastructure, and rising domestic resistance. Despite these obstacles, Spain’s gender-responsive migration diplomacy illustrates a significant model for ethical diplomacy, nation branding, and feminist foreign policy in a contested global order. Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has drastically reshaped the industrial landscape, compelling the workforce to acquire new competencies to remain relevant and competitive. Within this context, reskilling and upskilling have emerged as critical strategies for organizations in managing human resources (HR) and adapting to accelerated technological change. Nevertheless, the implementation of reskilling and upskilling is fraught with challenges, including widening skill gaps between older and younger employees, resource limitations for training, and resistance to change among workers. This study aims to analyze these challenges and identify effective HR management strategies to address them. A qualitative approach was employed, combining a systematic literature review and secondary data analysis from both academic and industry sources. The findings indicate that technology-enabled strategies, such as e-learning, microlearning, and AI-driven training, are essential to workforce development. Moreover, hybrid learning models, which integrate online and face-to-face training, have been shown to enhance training efficiency. Cross-sector collaboration among corporations, educational institutions, and governments is also highlighted as a key success factor in implementing reskilling and upskilling programs. Practical implications suggest that organizations should embed reskilling and upskilling within HR policies, foster a culture of continuous learning, and allocate sufficient resources to employee training. This study contributes to both theory and practice by providing insights into adaptive and innovative HR development strategies in the digital era. Future research is recommended to further investigate the impact of reskilling initiatives on employee productivity and performance.

Abstract

Namun, aktivitas antioksidan biji kepundung belum pernah dilaporkan.

Abstract

Russia's invasion of Ukraine has been two years old. This large-scale military attack initially aimed to overthrow President Zelensky, who sought Ukraine to align with NATO. The anticipated swift campaign has so far failed to yield positive results for Russia, instead, the specter of failure looms large, with casualties on the Russian side, loss of territories held by Russia, and Russian defeats in battles in several regions. This paper aims to explore the reasons why the Russian invasion was unsuccessful. Using a perspective of war strategy and qualitative descriptive research methods, this study demonstrates that Russia's failure in the invasion of Ukraine is due to weak planning, weakness of logistics, morale of Russian troops, and rejection from the international community. Through an in-depth study of Russia's failure, this research contributes to the development of knowledge and enrichment of the understanding of the importance of geo-strategic factors in international relations.

The method of taking farming respondents with a simple random sample design was taken based on the parallel formula in 37 people. Selected marketer’s respondent using the snowball sampling method, involving 13 individuals in total. The margin analysis is conducted to analyze the components of marketing costs as well as the share received by each market actors involved in shallot marketing. Profit marketing margin analysis, the ratio of profit was taken over the costs incurred by each marketing institution in the four marketing channels could be said to be generally efficient. The price share that was received by farmers in marketing channel IV is the highest sahre among the other channels. This is a result of farmers selling their shallots to intermediary traders directly. In contrast to marketing channel III, which gives farmers the lowest share. This occurs because of the high selling price difference between retailers and farmers and involves three marketing institutions.
