Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of causal learning models on the creativity of class X students of MAN 2 Mataram academic year 2018/2019. The type of research used was quasi-experimental design with untreated control group design with pretest-and posttest. The population in this study were all students of class X MIA MAN 2 Mataram. The research sample was taken by using purposive sampling technique, so that students of class X MIA 6 were selected as many as 33 people as the experimental class and the X MIA 5 class as many as 34 people as the control class. The experimental class was given treatment in the form of causal learning models and control classes using conventional learning. The instrument used to measure the creativity of students in the form of a description test as many as 6 items. The research hypothesis was tested using the t-test with a significance level of 5%. The results of the t-test obtain a t-count value of 5.02 smaller than t_table which is equal to 2.00 (H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted). So it can be concluded that there is the influence of causal learning models on the creativity of students. This result can be proven by the N-gain test, where there is an increase in creativity by 37% for the experimental class and the control class by 19% with the medium category.

Abstract

The effect of causalitic learning model on problem solving ability in Physics students. This study aims to find out the effect of causalitic learning model on problem solving ability in Physics students. The type of research used is quasi-experiment with untreated control group design with pretest and posttest. The population is all class X students of SMAN 1 Narmada, amounting to 396 people. Sampling of research using purposive sampling technique, so that selected X MS 1 as the experimental class and X MS 2 as the control class. The experimental class was treated in the form of a causalytic learning model while the control class was treated in the form of a conventional learning model. The research instrument consisted of a test of problem solving ability by considering the validity, reliability, level of difficulty of the questions and the different power of the questions. KPM Posttest data is tested for normality, then proceed with hypothesis testing using t-test. Hypothesis test results of the calculated t value is greater than the table then  is accepted. So the causalytic learning model influences the problem solving ability in Physics students. Keywords: Causalytic learning model; Solution to problem; Learners

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model on student’s learning outcomes and creativity of physics. This type of research was quasi-experiment and used nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA in SMA 1 Narmada academic year 2018/2019. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique and class XI MIPA 3 as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 5 as the control class. Learning outcomes data were obtained using multiple choice tests, while creativity data were obtained using essay tests. The research hypothesis was tested using the N-gain test to analyze the increase in learning outcomes and creativity of students per indicator and MANOVA test to test the effect of the application of POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model on student’s learning outcomes and creativity of physics using IBM SPSS 23 software. The results of hypothesis test indicate that 1) N-gain test, improvement in learning outcomes and creativity were included in the medium category 2) MANOVA test, there was an effect of POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model on student’s learning outcomes and creativity of physics. Keywords: POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model; learning outcomes; creativity

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran fisika model discovery yang valid. Penelitian ini hanya menggunakan 3 langkah dari model 4D yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan, dan pengembangan. Objek penelitian ini adalah silabus, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar kegiatan peserta didik, dan instrument tes yang divalidasi oleh 3 orang validator. Data dalam penelitian adalah data primer dari hasil validitas. Hasil validitaas silabus, RPP, LKPD, dan instrument tes penguasaan konsep masing-masing sebesar 0.85; 0.80; 0.83; dan 0.91 sehingga termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Hasil validitas instrument tes keterampilan generik sains sebesar 0.79 sehingga teramasuk dalam kategori valid. Hasil persentase kesepakatan antar validator pada silabus, RPP LKPD, instrument test penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan generik sains lebih dari 80% sehingga termasuk dalam kategori reliable. Dengan demikian perangkat pembelajaran fisika model discovery yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung keadilan distributif (X1), keadilan prosedural (X2), keadilan interaksional (X3), dan kepuasan kerja guru (Y) terhadap komitmen guru (Z). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel 62 guru yang ditentukan dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan data dianalisis dengan analsis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja guru dipengaruhi langsung oleh keadilan distributif  sebesar 16.32% dan oleh keadilan interaksional  sebesar 25%. Secara bersama keadilan distributif, keadilan prosedural, dan keadilan interaksional memberi pengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja guru sebesar 55,1%. Sisanya sebesar 44.9% merupakan pengaruh variabel lain yang tidak terjelaskan dalam model. Komitmen guru dipengaruhi langsung oleh keadilan interaksional sebesar 12.53% dan oleh kepuasan kerja guru sebesar 24.40%. Secara bersama keadilan distributif, keadilan prosedural, keadilan interaksional, dan kepuasan kerja guru memberi pengaruh terhadap komitmen guru sebesar 36%. Sisanya sebesar 64% merupakan pengaruh variabel lain yang tidak terjelaskan dalam model.Kata Kunci : Komitmen Guru, Keadilan Distributif, Keadilan Prosedural, Keadilan Interaksional, dan Kepuasan Kerja Guru. The Effects Of Organizational Justice On Job Satisfaction And Its Impact On Teachers Commitment In 2017 ABSTRACT             This study aims to determine the direct and indirect effects of distributive justice (X1), procedural justice of teachers (X2), interactional justice (X3), and job satisfaction (Y) to teacher commitment (Z). This study uses quantitative methods with a sample of 62 teachers determined by proportional random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and data were analyzed using path analysis. The results showed that the job satisfaction of teacher is directly influenced by distributive justice equal to 16.32% and by interactional justice equal to 25%. Collectively distributive justice, procedural justice, and interactional justice have an effect on teacher's job satisfaction of 55.1%. The remaining 44.9% is the influence of other variables that are not explained in the model. The commitment of teachers is directly influenced by interactional justice of 12.53% and by job satisfaction of 24.40%. Collectively distributive justice, procedural justice, interactional justice, and job satisfaction affect the teacher's commitment by 36%. Abstract

This article aims to examine the importance of understanding the nature of science for science teachers as a solution in teaching multidimensional science. Science is a knowledge (scientific product), a series of investigation processes (scientific process), and scientific attitude which is reflected in the nature of Science (Nature of Science). NOS describes the real science, how it works, and its interaction with society in the perspectives of philosophy, history, sociology, and psychology of science. Understanding NOS is an important aspect of scientific literacy. The results of research in recent times show that teachers and students do not understand the concept of NOS optimally. This study uses literature analysis. The results show that NOS is divided into three main aspects, namely the nature of scientific knowledge, the nature of scientific investigation and the nature of scientific endeavor. understanding the concept of NOS must be an important part to be instilled in science teachers. Learning science is not just knowing natural objects, but science has a wider study dimension than that, which needs to be studied from the ontological, epistemological and axiological side. Teachers must master how to teach science, how the impact or influence of science learning and what influences science learning. Thus, understanding the NOS concept of science teachers will have an impact on students' mastery of understanding the NOS concept.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengelaborasi tentang pembelajaran IPA berbasis bioentrepreneur pada etnosains masyarakat suku Sasak Lombok dalam perpektif ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi. Studi ini merupakan studi literatur (library reseach) dengan sumber data adalah artikel penelitian terdahulu yang memiliki topik terkait pembelajaran IPA, konsep IPA, pendidikan entrepreneur, etnosains, dan poteng jaje tujak. Prosedur dalam penelitian studi literatur dilaksanakan dengan tahapan-tahapan yaitu mengumpulkan data pustaka, membaca, mencatat, menelaah, mengumpulkan konsep atau naskah, kemudian dilakukan elaborasi dan eksplanasi terhadap data/teks yang terkumpul. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa (1) pendidikan wirausaha dapat memfasilitasi siswa secara terstruktur untuk mengembangkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap, self efficacy, dan minat wirausaha; (2) pembelajaran IPA pada hakikatnya mengandung unsur proses (scientific processes), produk (scientific knowledge), sikap (scientific attitudes), dan teknologi/aplikasi; (3) pembelajaran IPA harus mengandung unsur yaitu active learning; discovery/inquiry activity approach; scientific literacy; constructivism; science, technology, and society; dinamis/tentatif; (4) poteng jaje tujak adalah jajanan tradisional suku Sasak yang mengandung informasi indogenous science dalam proses pembuatan dengan bahan ketan dan tape; (5) indigenous science dalam proses pembuatan poteng jaje tujak memiliki relevansi dalam kompetensi dasar IPA yaitu “menerapkan konsep bioteknologi dan perannya dalam kehidupan manusia” dan “membuat salah satu produk bioteknologi konvensional yang ada di lingkungan sekitar”.

Abstract

Baru-baru ini, Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi meluncurkan Kurikulum Prototipe. Salah satu pendekatan yang dipandang relevan dan sejalan dengan kurikulum Prototipe ini yaitu pembelajaran STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pelatihan penerapan pembelajaran STEM berbasis potensi lokal bagi guru-guru di SMPN 3 Batukliang. Kegiatan dilakukan pada tanggal 6 Agustus 2022 dan diikuti oleh 18 peserta yang merupakan guru-guru mata pelajaran di SMPN 3 Batukliang. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam 4 (empat) tahapan utama yaitu; (1) penyampaian materi, (2) demonstrasi, (3) praktek pengintegrasian STEM berbasis potensi lokal dalam pembelajaran, dan (4) tanggapan dan Evaluasi. Seluruh kegiatan berjalan dengan baik. Sebanyak 100% peserta menyatakan bahwa pelatihan ini memberi manfaat dan dapat menambah pemahaman tentang pendekatan pembelajaran STEM. Sebanyak 83,33% perseta meyakini bahwa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran STEM dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Seluruh peserta berkeinginan untuk menerapkan pembelajaran STEM namun 72,22% dari peserta menyatakan ragu-ragu apakah mereka nantinya akan mengalami kesulitan atau hambatan pada saat menerapkan pendekatan STEM dalam pembelajaran di kelas.
